Abstract

Theater Arts Center with Contemporary Architecture Approach is a venue that serve for activities related to the theater arts, including introduction activities, learning, training, gathering places, to the final process of the show. The world of art has always evolved as a reflection at that time in line with the development of contemporary architecture that is innovative both from the shape and appearance as the use of materials that will support the look of contemporary architectural styles. This design aims to support theater arts activities and interest of the younger generation to be more creative. The methods of research that is used, field data collection, literature study and empirical studies. The concept used is freedom of expression that is sad, happy, and angry that poured into the building. The results of this study design a superior building in the field of theater with the principle of application of Contemporary Architecture in terms of varied forms, neutral building colors, flexible materials use and create something innovative on buildings in according to the times. Abstract

Landfill site is one of significant source of methane emissions into the atmosphere. The waste in landfill will be decomposed in anaerobic digestion process and produced methane (CH4) with composition of 45-60%. Methane gas has the potency as a source alternative energy of electrical energy. Production of methane gas were analyzed with LandGEM. Conversion of methane gas to electrical energy calculated by multiplication of conversion factor values with methane gas. Based on projection result weight volume analysis with in Mandau landfill area, can only accommodate the waste for forty-two months twenty-eight days. The LandGEM analysis shown that the total landfill gas from Mandau Landfill in 2021 will reach 8.575.000 m3/year equals to 978,88 m3/hour. Total methane generation will reach 5.145.000 m3/year equals to 587,33 m3/hour. Analysis of conversion methane gas to electrical energy, reached peak production after one year closure landfill site in 2021 amount 6.560 kWh.Keywords: methane, LandGEM, landfill

Abstract

Travel time estimation is one of the parameters to predict a journey for traveler who want to travel. The travel time in this research using Moving Observer Car that regulated by Bina Marga No. 001 / T / BNKT / 1990. The result of the calculation of travel time with this method will show the actual travel time of the vehicle on Pekanbaru - Bangkinang Km. 19 to Km. 25. This method is classified into Direct Method to determining the travel time. Moving Observer Car method using test equipment in the form of cars with the number of 8 units. The average travel time of the vehicle obtained from the results of data for 8 units of test cars is 7,364 minutes.Keywords:Travel time estimation, Direct Method, Moving Observer car

Abstract

The circulation of water in hydroponic crops is one ting that is very important in hydroponic plant cultivation, because the circulation of water is needed by plants. Hydroponic water needs at less than the water needs of plants cultivated in the ground. Hydroponics is defined as a way of farming without using soil. The circulation of water in the hydroponic growing methods required pembuatanya system design with the motor as the driving force of water flow, and solar panels as a powerhouse. Solar panels are one type of alternative energy that utilizes the power from solar energy into electrical energy. The motors used to circulate water are aquarium motors or aquarium pumps, the pump capacity used in this research is 25 watts with head 1.2 meters (maximum) and water debit 1300 liter / hour.Keywords: Hydroponics, Solar Panels, Submersible Water Pump.

Abstract

Reliability is the ability of a system or component to perform required function over a specific time period. Reliability wireless point-point network on BMKG Meteorology Station in Pekanbaru determined from its quantitative and qualitative failure rate. This paper presents analysis of wireless point-point network reliability based on the value of MTTF. Quantitative failure such as damage of network device and qualitative failure such as failure time traffic on transmission network. The method to analyze this network reliability is weibull distribution method, by using analysis of LSM calculation. The calculation result of shape parameter value (ᶿ) quantitative and qualitative failure are 2.4554 and 2.7428 beside it value of scale parameter (α) quantitative and qualitative failure are 1.4018 and 1.3420. Quantitative and qualitative failure MTTF from during 0.1072 years and 0.0629 weeks. Value of reliability total is 0.9829.Keyword: Reliability, Weibull Distribution, MTTF.

Abstract

Directorate General of Highways has issued many rules and guidelines in plotting the added layer thickness. These guidelines and rules continue to be improved and refined by DGH. Thisresearch will be discussed with the thickness of layers added by doing comparison method of Pd T-05-2005-B and Road Pavement Design Manual No. 02 / M / BM / 2013. The result of theanalysis showed that the accumulated equivalent value of sunburst standard of 10 years old age of 6,546,500.63 ESA. Differences in seasonal and temperature correction factors make theresult of the thickness of the layers added by two different methods. The result for thick layer added method Pd T-05-2005-B equal to 13,0 cm while for Road Pavement Design Manual No.02 / M / BM / 2013 equal to 8,6 cm.Keywords : Benkelman Beam, deflection, overlay

Abstract

The conveying process of solid particles with air as a medium transport is commonly found in industries. Phenomenon that occurs and must be calculated appropriately is the pressure drop on pneumatic conveyor pipeline. Computational Fluid Dynamics is a system analysis that used to predict fluid flow. The pressure drop that occurs in horizontal pipeline with a length of 2 m, an inner diameter of 80 mm and a thickness of 4 mm is simulated with Euler-euler model. Pressure drop characteristics to particle mass flow rate, particle concentration, particle diameter and air velocity was investigated. The simulation was performed using Fluent 14.5. The results indicated that with the increase of mass flow rate of particles, particle diameter and air flow rate, the pressure drop will increase. Particle concentration does not have a considerable influence in the pressure drop on horizontal pipeline.Keywords : CFD, particles, pressure drop

Abstract

Land use change in Merbau and Ukui Watershed (DAS) as an effort to fulfill the need of land for settlement and other supporting infrastructure in Pekanbaru city will increase the potential oferosion and sedimentation in the watershed. This impact will have a major impact on the functional life of lake khayangan. Geographic information system is used to assist data analysis of land use,length and slope of land and vegetation distribution. The results of the analysis show the total erosion potential of the Merbau River Basin, the Ukui River Basin and the Direct Stream is 364,610tons / year and the total of sediments entering Lake Kayangan is 459,474 tons / year, with the elevation of siltation that occurs on Lake Kayangan is 0 , 22 mm / year.Keywords: land use change, erosion and sedimentation potential, siltation.

Abstract

The water flow is mostly used to generate electrical energy. The proposed research is to know the efficiency and maximum power generated by the waterwheel. In this research, the experimental method is used the water flow for irrigation, which is used to move the water wheel. The water wheel used is a type of undershot flat blade type 2 m diameter with 18 pieces of blade. The highest efficiency discharge by water wheel was 46.19 % with debit 0.313 m3/s and highest power produced water wheel 219.12 watts with debit 0.313 m3 / s. The water level greatly affects all aspects of the water wheel working system.Keywords: water wheel, undershot flat blade, efficiency

Abstract

The implementation of construction especially in Pekanbaru City, the cost factor is the first consideration because of the usually involves the amount of investment that is great for a assignor. Therefore, the cost of the project should manage by a good way that the possibility of swelling (cost overruns) can be minimized. The purpose of this research is to analyze the most dominant factors causing the swelling of costs (cost overrun) at the construction of government building projects in Pekanbaru City. The data collection was done by distributed questionnaires to small contractors in Pekanbaru area. The data collected were analyzed by using validity and reliability test, analysis factor, classical assumption test and multiple linear Regression This data processing by using computer program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 24. From the results of analysis obtained the most dominant factors causing the swelling of costs (cost overrun) in the government building construction project in Pekanbaru city consists of: part of planning and implementation that so many projects are handled simultaneously, the part of coordination of resources, that the shortage of labor. The portion control which is a way of payment that is not timely.Keywords: cost, cost overrun, dominant factor.
