Abstract

Culinary is a promising venture, can be seen from the large number of restaurants, cafes, and hotels that serve many interesting culinary. Growing number of culinary bussiness makes profesional chef much in need, but the facilities for study to become a professional chef is not yet available in the city of Pekanbaru. Culinary education facilities is a culinary educational spaces that are expected to facilitate the development of culinary activities where there is a non-formal education classes such as cooking course in theory or practice, seminars, and research. Culinary Education Facilities with Tangible Metaphor design approach aiming so that when people see the building will recognize the function of the building. As of the result of this design concept with the Frying Pan where the kitchen tool usage techniques is often known to public by stir frying. Culinary education facility provides the most important culinary education classes about teaching in kitchen (cooking class), pastry and bakery class, cooking class for kids, demontration class, and more. In additional also available supporting facilities such as dormitories for students, entertaiment room, lounge area and shower room. Key word: Metaphor Architecture, Culinary, Culinary Education

Abstract

In recent years, the development of fifth generation (5G) communication technology has become an interesting issue. It is a new communication that improve network efficiency, capacity data rate and lower power consumption. In this paper , a circular metamaterial composite right left handed microstrip antenna is designed. The antenna is simulated by using CST microwave studio operated at 28/38 Ghz. The substrate used is RT Duroid 5880. From the simulation result, the return loss of -36.932 dB and -32.977 dB are obtained for 28 GHz and 38 GHz bandwidth of 7.68 GHz and 6.41 GHz and gain-of 4.91 dB and 5.2 dB. Abstract

Lingga is one of the relics of the Islamic kingdom that was founded around 1828 AD until 1911 AD. There are also have many historical and cultural relics in Lingga. Nowadays, many people are ignorant of history and culture in Lingga, this causing the culture and history of land to begin to be eliminated from the community. Therefore a design of recreational areas for learning and cultural development is needed, so that people can improve their knowledge about cultural historys of Lingga. In addition, the design of this area is useful for historians and historians to study and develop the culture in Lingga. As for the method used in this design is to use the Neo-Vernacular Architecture approach by applying the principles and design ideas that exist in Malay Lingga house with the addition of modern elements in it. The concept used is the transformation of the Nature and Culture of Lingga combined with the theme of Neo Vernacular architecture design, expected to produce a form of display of building in a new form but still maintain the existence of local culture and unite the architecture with aspects of Linga culture and nature. Abstract

The development of films in Indonesia greatly impact on the enthusiasm of the people in their interest in watching movies in cinemas. People's interest is increasing due to new trends in the world of Indonesian films, which is making sequel of the famous film and remaking some legendary films. This causes the film community as a forum for sharing knowledge about Indonesian films badly needed so that it can be a source of inspiration for filmmakers, as well as increasing the appreciation and pride in Indonesian films. Unfortunately, the growth of the film industry is not offset by the addition of cinema screens. In Pekanbaru, there are only 7 cinemas with a total of 29 screens. Likewise, the film community in Pekanbaru is still not exposed because there is no place to gather and showcase their work to the public. Therefore, a place that can support the people's needs for films is needed, in the form of cinema center as a place for recreation (cinema) and education (film community). The research methods used include field data collection, literature studies and empirical studies. The results of this study are in the form of building design as a place for film activities with the theme of active building facade as a representation of the meaning of the word cinema (derived from Greek, κίνημα) itself, i.e., the motion which also describes the dynamic structure of film.Keywords: Architecture, Cinema Center, Active Building Facade

Abstract

Excavators are heavy equipment used to move material from one place to another.Excavators are widely used in various fields, namely: construction, mining,infrastructure, etc.The University of Riau has produced a mini excavator model design in the Hydraulic and Pneumatic Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering Mechanical Engineering using a pneumatic system based on undercarriage, equipped with a remote control system, and 360˚ swing rotation.This research was modified the air supply section , in the design of the tube using a two data that the calculation and software autodesk inventor 2015, This research was revealed the highest strees calculation data results of head 9.05 MPa and shell of 4.56 MPa, while data software autodesk inventor 2015 that was obtained the highest strees head of 4.15 MPa and shell of 4.49 MPa.The tube pressure of 5.8 bars of total air requirement wason a pneumatic system of 3.8 bars and the remaining air that was stored in 2 bars. The pneumatic system can drive the air pressure of 5.8-6 bars. Therefore, the movement was likelyan excavator in general.Key Word : excavator, presurre, strees analysis

Abstract

A Soil is usually as a base of both building construction and road construction, it becomes a problem if the soil has an inapproriate properties. Materials such as cement, lime, and rice husk ash can be used as stabilization materials to increase soil strength. This study examines the behavior of high plastically stabilized clay with cement, lime, and rice husk ash. The increases of soil performance is seen by CBR test, UCS test, and swelling potential measurements. CBR and UCS test were carried out with 4 conditions; 28 days ripening, 28 days ripening and 4 days immersion, tested directly, and 4 days immersion. The examination of swelling potential was supported by dial on soaked CBR and consolidometer. Soil samples from each varied mixture were loaded with various loads. The results showed that the CBR value and UCS value increase with the duration of ripening and decrease with the length of immersion. Then the CBR and UCS values increase with the addition of lime percentage in the mixture. The highest CBR and UCS values occurs in cement soil 90% + lime 10% with CBR values of 164.34% and UCS values of 1402.97 kPa in conditions for 28 days without immersion. The lowest CBR and UCS values occurs in cement soil 90% + rusk husk ash 10% with a value of 1.68% for CBR and 11.21 kPa for UCS values with conditions soaked for 4 days without immersion. Abstract

Automatic machine measuring of mass and dimension is a machine that consists of several components that function as retrieval of information in the form of mass (kg) and dimensions (m3) of an object in the form of a regular or irregular (random). The working principle of Automatic machine measuring of mass and dimension is that the camera will take pictures of the light given by the sensor beam (line lacer) which moves together with the camera and by using the triangulation method [7] of the laser and camera, then a broad measurement image can be obtained. from 2D images that will be processed using computer algorithms to get 3D image results to determine the volume of objects,Design forManufacturing assembly is one of systems analysis to assembling components, simultaneously, throughout the products from beginning of process design. As result, obstacles to get assembly could be minimalizing before components production. DFMA analysis will be obtaining the value of efficiency on assembly. Through this way, the efficiency value of machine prototype to separating waste, both, ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic materials can be achieved. Furthermore, efficiency value on assembly of prototype design is 2.27% at 3033.75 seconds theoretically. The assembly efficiency value of prototype after production and assembling process on actual condition is 1.67% at 3676,473 seconds. The distinction from these efficiency values is caused by difficulty on assembly of the Arduino Acrylic base and the installation of sub-assembly body cover. As consequences, the time to get assembly will take more time on actual condition rather than theoretically. Abstract

The use of bagasse ash in the manufacture of solid concrete bricks is one way of saving in the use of cement. Concrete brick is a type of brick-shaped building material made from the main ingredients of portland cement, water, and aggregates used for wall pairs. The study of the use of bagasse ash aims to determine the effect of bagasse ash on the quality of concrete bricks, namely in terms of compressive strength and water absorption. Comparison of the mass of cement with sand is 1: 4. The method used is to conduct experiments in the laboratory. The results showed that the relationship between compressive strength and concrete brick water absorption was inversely proportional. The greater the compressive strength of the concrete brick, the smaller the absorption value of the water and vice versa. In terms of compressive strength, the maximum value of using bagasse ash to obtain concrete brick of quality level I is the percentage of 22.5% with a compressive strength of 103.077 kg / cm2. The conclusion that can be taken in this study is the use of bagasse ash can reduce cement usage by 30% in the manufacture of concrete bricks. This is evidenced by the results of the quality of concrete bricks obtained still meet the requirements of SNI 03-0349-1989 with a quality level II. Abstract

This paper presented a method of adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) for classified short circuit faults in power distribution line at PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI) in Bangko which has 4 branch line which are divided into BKO1, BKO2, BKO3 dan BKO4 with the length of each line are 30 Km, 25 Km, 25 Km dan 30 Km. Fault classification can improve the reliability of the power system. It needs quicken repair process and also reduces the possibility of equipment damage. The power distribution line is modeled using ETAP software. Short circuit types that simulated are phase to ground (F-T), phase to phase (F-F), phase to phase to ground (F-F-T), and three-phase (F-F-F). The ANFIS design is constructed using Matlab GUI 2016a version toolbox. Input data for this ANFIS design are short circuit value which is fed by three phases of voltage and current. The result of the simulations and data testing obtained Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) value for each line in Bangko PT. CPI with each membership function of GaussMF and GBellMF are 0.00046435% and 0.00029686% for BKO1, 0.000021651% and 0.00048023% for BKO2, 0.00021065% and 0.00029155% for BKO3, and then 0.0001479% and 0.00025739% for BKO4 respectively. Abstract

Pekanbaru has the potential that can be developed through the field of basketball. However, there is a lack of attention from the government so that this potential is not developed well. Thus in need of proper containers for enthusiasts to make proud of Pekanbaru. In building a container is also paying attention to facilities that follow the standards in terms of architectural convenience. The research method used through field survey, documentation, and analysis of the lines on the basketball. The results of this research describes how the application of basketball can be applied in expressionist architecture by applying characteristics lines on Expressionist architectural elements, such as the shape of the building, circulation, structure, material, as well as color. This research can also confirm that the Basketball Training Center can be used as inspiration and applied to the design of the building of expression which followed expressionist architecture elements of the element itself.
