Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by low mathematics learning outcomes of students, with an average grade of 49.6. While the completeness criteria Minimum value (KKM) Mathematics is 70 Among students, amounting to 24 people only 6 students who achieve KKM with classical completeness 25%. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted aims to improve learning outcomes Mathematics Elementary School fourth grade students 001 Sinaboi by implementing STAD cooperative learning model. Data collection instruments in this thesis is the teacher and student activity sheets and learning outcomes. This thesis presents the results obtained by studying the average learning outcome measures 49.6 before rising 70.12% to 84.38 in cycle I. In the second cycle increased by 90.42% to an average of 94.45. activities of teachers in the first cycle the first meeting of the percentage of 65% obtained with enough categories, the second meeting had become 75%. Furthermore, the first meeting of the second cycle activity scores increased to 80% of teachers with excellent category, at the second meeting increased to 90% with very good category. The results of the data analysis of student activity in the first cycle to 60% with enough categories, at the second meeting 70% of the students already understand this cycle of learning activities with the implementation of STAD cooperative. And the second cycle students 75% activity score increased with both categories. At the second meeting increased to 85% with very good category. The results of the study in fourth grade Sinaboi 001 State prove that the implementation of STAD cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes Math 001 fourth grade students of SDN Sinaboi. Abstract

Abstract: The problems raised in this research is,the first how the development of traditional pacu jalur sport in the kecamatan kuantan mudik 2007-20013.The secont how prosedures for runway pacu jalur sport s in the kecamatan kuantan mudik 2007-2013.The third how public participation in the runway pac jalr sport kuantan mudik the period 2007-2013. This kind research using methods deskriptif.That is research in stack be based on the characteristics be oriented of the exiting data process of acquiring efforts.Techniques used in this research is,obsevation is with direct supervision of the development of racing sport in the district lines kuantan mudik.The Interviews to collect more accrate data. The authors conduted interview with respondents.Population taken in this research consisted of eighteen the head of the village, a tourism department head,and three commnity leaders. The sample in this research is a village head,tourism department head,and community leaders. Based on the results of the interview can be concluded that the former track racing a means of transportation and also show the social status,because only the ruler area,nobility and progenitor grandfather who was driving the boat. Then that part is not only for transportation ,but also in the speed race through a contest called racing track. Keywords: Traditional Sport Racing Track

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study, that the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles in men's volleyball athletes Physical Education University of Riau less than the maximum. The purpose of this study is to see Comparison Differences and the Effects of Exercise Bench Press Upright Row Strength Against Arm and Shoulder Muscles In Men's Volleyball Athlete of Physical Education University of Riau.This research is a quasi- experiment to see the effects of this form of exercise. The population in this study were all athletes son of Physical Education University of Riau, amounting to 20 people. The sampling technique is the total sampling, which means that the entire population sampled is then sampled in this study amounted to 20 people. Instrument in this study using Expanding Dynamometer tests to see Arm and Shoulder Muscle Strength.Analyses were performed using t-test.The research concludes that there is an influence on the Bench Press exercise on muscle strength in the arms and shoulders men's volleyball athletes Physical Education University of Riau proven to thitung 5393 > 2262 ttable at α = 0.05. There Upright Row exercise effect on muscle strength in the arms and shoulders men's volleyball athletes Physical Education University of Riau proved with 6,806 t count > t table 2262 at α = 0.05. There is a significant difference betweenexercise Bench Press and Upright Row against the arm and shoulder muscle strength in men's volleyball athletes Riau University of Physical Education where 2,302 t count > t table 2.101 at α = 0.05. Where the effect of exercise Bench Press is better when compared to the Upright Row exercise the arm and shoulder muscle strength in men's volleyball athletes Sports Education University of Riau. Abstract

Abstract : This study was motivated by the low IPS student learning outcomes, with the average grade 68.47. While the completeness criteria Maximum value (KKM) IPS is 75th Among ISWA totaling 23 people, only 7 students who achieve ketuntasn classical KKM with 30.43%. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted aims to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fifth grade students 001 Prosperous Bay Dumai by implementing cooperative learning model-Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). Formulation of the problem: Is the application of cooperative learning model-Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) can improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fifth grade students 001 Prosperous Bay City Dumai.penelitian is held from 9 April 2014 until April 25 2014dengan 2 cycles. Subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Gulf Makmur Dumai by the number of students sebanyak23 the students as a source of data. Data collection instrument in this thesis is the activity sheet and sheet activities siswaserta teacher learning outcomes. This thesis presents the results of the study were obtained daily before action replay value with an average of 68.47, an increase in the first cycle with the average being 78.47. In the second cycle increased by an average of 81.30. Observation activities of teachers in the learning process in the first cycle the first meeting and the second meeting 50% increase to 62.5%. Cycle II first meeting and the second meeting 66.66% 83.33% increase to the observation of the activities of students in the first cycle the first meeting and the second meeting of 58.33% increased to 66.66%. The first meeting of the second cycle and 75% for the second meeting had risen to 83.33%. The results of the study in class V Prosperous Bay Elementary School 001 Dumai prove that the application of cooperative model-type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) can improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fifth grade students Dumai 001 ProsperousBay. Abstract

Abstract.This research based on the result of the improvement of IV grade deaf students of SLBN Dumai in Social Science (IPS) subject. From 12 students only 4 students (49.17) passed  the minimum completeness criteria which is 60. The formulated problem in this research whether the application of Direct Instruction can improve students’ grade in Social Science (IPS) subject of IV grade deaf students in SLBN Dumai. The aim of this research is to improve students’ grade in Social Science (IPS) subject with application of Direct Instruction. This research use classroom action research through Direct Instruction at fourth grade deaf students of SLBN Dumai within 12 students. This action was done at April 2014. The initial results, only 4 students or 49.17 achieved minimum completeness criteria (60) and the average value was 49.17. After applying direct instruction in the classroom, at UH I cycle 1, the number of students who passed the minimum completeness criteria increased to 8 students (70.66%) with an average value 70.83. At UH II In the second cycle, the number of students who achieved a minimum completeness criteria also increased to 10 students (83.3%) with an average value was 82.5. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the direct instruction can improve deaf students’ achievement in IPS subject. Direct instruction closely matches the Deaf students who have difficulty in communication. It is suggested that classroom teachers should use direct instruction model for teaching and learning activities of deaf students. Abstract

Abstract :The research on application of cooperative learning model Question Student Have (QSH) has been done to improve of student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product in class XI SMAN 5Pekanbaru. Form of the research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consist of two classes, namely class XI IPA 4 as the experimental and class XI IPA 5 as control class which randomly selected after had tested normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given implementing cooperative learning model Question Student Have (QSH) while the control class was not given implementing cooperative learning model Question Student Have (QSH). Data analysis technique used the t-test. Based on the result of the final data processing t-test formula obtained tarithmetic>ttable (2,258  > 1,67) means the application of cooperative learning model Question Student Have (QSH) can improve student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product in class XI SMAN 5Pekanbaru, with an increase of 6,53%. Abstract

Abstract. This research is motivated by low yields social studies fourth grade students of SDN 003 Pelintung Kecamatan Medang Kampai Dumai. For that teachers use berfariatif learning model that can improve learning outcomes. The problem of this research is the application of the model Is STAD cooperative learning can improve learning outcomes IPS 003 fourth grade students of SDN Pelintung Kecamatan Medang Kampai Dumai?. This study aims to improve the results of the fourth grade social studies SDN 003 Pelintung Kecamatan Medang Kampai Dumai with the application of STAD cooperative learning model to material technology development. The design of this study is action research (CAR) conducted as many as two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one-time daily tests. Obtained from this study of student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes data after learning using STAD cooperative learning model based on the base score is 58.5% increase in the first cycle an average of 69.0% sufficient category and the second cycle an average of 82.0% is very good. While the activities of teachers also increased from 58.35% to 91.65% less of a category of either category once and student activity 83.74% to 94.59% category either be very good category. From this study it can be concluded that the application of Cooperative Learning Model of type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) can improve learning outcomes IPS 003 fourth grade students of SDN Pelintung Kecamatan Medang Kampai Dumai. Abstract

Abstract : This study aimed to determine the quality of odd semester exam chemistry lesson for class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru in academic year 2013/2014 viewed from relevance of indicator item and distribution of the cognitive taxonomy Bloom, level of difficulty, discrimination index, distracter effectiveness, test item validity, reliability. This research is descriptive ex post facto. Population includes all students in grade XI IPA SMAN 10 as 177 students. Sample consisted 96 students from 27% upper group and 27% lower group. The result from relevance item of indicator showed that from 40 test items there were 97,5% relevance to the test indicator and 2,5% were not relevance to the test indicator. The result from distribution of the cognitive taxonomy Bloom there was comparison C1:C2:C3:C4:C5:C6 is 15%:45%:40%:0%:0%:0% respectively. The result of analysis from level of difficulty there was 12,5% easy test item, 82,5% was medium and 5% was difficult. Furthermore the discrimination index there was 2,5% so bad test item discrimination, 15% bad discrimination, 32,5% medium discrimination, and 50% good discrimination. Viewed from the distracter effectiveness 42,5% had good function and 57,5% could not do their function well. Analysis of test item validity there were 85% valid and 15% were not valid. Reliability of the test was r11 = 0,86. Based on the result of this test can be said to have a low quality with classification readmission items obtained 27,5% items received, 70% repaired, and 2,5% rejected.
