Abstract

Abstract : This problem aims to prove whether the correlation between power of legs and coordination eyes and hands with jump shoot result men’s club basketball kerkat team of tualang. The forms of this research are the correlation study, the population in this study from the men’s basketball club kerkat of tualang, and the sample in this study is the men’s basketball club kerkat of tualang which have numbered 12 people. While the sampel tecnique used is total sampling (saturated sampe) where all the population is sampled. The sample in study amonted to 12 people of men’s basketball club kerkat of tualang. After that, the data is processed with statistik, normality test with lilifors test and correlation at signifikan level  The first power of legs (X1) with jump shoot result (Y), where rtable at significant level(0,05) = 0,602 means rresult (0,713) > rtable (0,602), which means the hypothesis is accepted and there is a meaningful correlation between power of legs with jump shoot result men’s club basketball kerkat team of tualang, a secound analysis of in the calculation of the correlation between X2 and Y, where rtable at significant level  (0,05) = 0,602 means rresult (0,606) > rtable (0,602), which means the hypothesis is accepted and there is a meaningful correlation between coordination eyes and hand with jump shoot result men’s club basketball kerkat team of tualang. the analysis of the three correlation power of legs (X1) and coordination eyes and hand (X2) jump shoot results (Y) was ontained, which rtable at significant level  (0,05) = 0,602, means rresult (0,713) > rtable (0,602). Then it can be concluded that the correlation between (X1) and (X2) with results (Y) or the correlation between power of legs and coordination eyes and hand with jump shoot result men’s club basketball kerkat team of tualang are significant.Keywords : Power, coordination, jump shoot

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to develop English learning documents (lesson plan and students’ worksheet) based on discovery learning as one of learning models suggested in the 2013 Curriculum and to find out the validity level of developing English learning documents based on discovery learning in teaching descriptive text for the first year students of SMP. The research design is Research & Development (R&D) applied 4D model by Thiagarajan (1974). To develop English learning documents, there were three stages involve in this research, (a) define stage that is done to set and define the product development requirements, (b) design stage that is done to plan the draft of learning documents and arranged it into the format and (c) develop stage that is done to modify and validate the learning documents. In order to find out the validity level of developing English learning documents, the data were collected using validation sheet of lesson plan and validation sheet of students’ worksheet validated by experts. Based on data analysis result, the validation score of lesson plan is 90.91% and the validation score of students’ worksheet is 89.37%. The result showed that the learning documents in the form of lesson plan and students’ worksheet were very valid and can be implemented in a classroom.Key words: Research and Development (R&D), Lesson plan (LP), Students’ Worksheet (SW),Discovery Learning, Descriptive Text.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning process and to increase the outcomes of mathematics learning of the students by applying Problem Based Learning (PBL). The subjects of this research are the students of class VII.7 SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru at the second semester of academic years 2017/2018 which total number of participants are 25 students, consists of 18 male students and 7 female students with heterogeneous academic achievements. This research has two cycles. Each of them has four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collecting instruments consist observation sheet (learning process) andthe students' worksheet. Learning device used in this research consists of Syllabus, Lesson plan, and Student work sheet. The data were analized by narrative descriptive and statistical descriptive analysis. The data were obtained from the observation sheets of teacher and students activities that showed the learning process has improved after the model being implemented. From the data of the student’s evaluation test, it showed that the number of students who reach the standard category (range score 75-85), good (range score 86-96), and very good (range score 97-100) with Minimal Score of Criteria is 75, increased from the basic score to the Quiz I, from Quiz I to Quiz II. In conclusion, the implementation of Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning process and increase the outcomes of mathematics learning of the students of grade VII.7 SMP in Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru on the second semester in academic years 2017/2018 on rectangular and triangular materials.Key Words: The outcomes of mathematics learning, Problem Based Learning,class action research.

Abstract

Abstract: Problems in the research starting from the observation that the author found in the field,. researchers find flaws on the results smash a less loud, visible when the leap yet nice and hard to hit the ball above the net, which result in accuracy results are not optimal. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship yield limb muscles and the explosive power of shoulder-arm muscles with pinpoint accuracy smash volleyball team son Bulog Pekanbaru. Population in this research is the son of volleyball athlete Bulog Pekanbaru and total them is 12 person used thecnique total sampling and all to be sample so not need test for t. And to be get of data for research used Vertical Jump test for explosive explosive tests of limb muscles, arm muscles power-shoulder Two-Hand Medicine Ball Putt, and accuracy Tests performed as many as 5 smash balls for accuracy. The data obtained were analysis with correlation product moment. On the analysis of data obtained correlation X1 with Y rhitung = 0.642 > rtabel = 0.602 and X2withY of rhitung = 0.651 > rtabel = 0.602 while the X1 and X2 with Y of rhitung = 0.683 > rtabel = 0.602. because all connect to shows in this research have significant level, then by doing so Ho and Ha rejected accepted. This means that there is an explosive relationship limb muscles and the explosive power of shoulder-arm muscles with pinpoint accuracy smash volleyball team son Bulog Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Tutor Program Equivalency Education Performance Package C in Non-Formal Education Unit Pekanbaru City Learning Activity Center. This research uses descriptive research with qualitative approach which aims to provide a systematic description of the Performance Effectiveness of Tutor of Equal Education Program Package C in Non-Formal Education Unit Pekanbaru City Learning Activity Center.As a reference to conduct research in the field, researchers prepare a grid in the form of questions to be presented interview materials to respondents. After the data collected, the researchers continue the analysis of research data. The results of research on the Performance Effectiveness of Tutor Program Equivalency Education Package C in Non-Formal Education Unit Pekanbaru City Learning Activity Center has been implemented effectively viewed from: 1) All the equivalent education programs C package education has been carrying out the main task and function of teaching equality education package C , 2) The process of educating citizens learning package C has been implemented with an emotional and interactive approach. Tutors have tips on teaching so that time can be optimized effectively. As for the tutor's tips by providing independent tasks to the residents learn to read more material provided through the internet or other sources. 3) Teach citizens learn the equivalence of C packets implemented with face-to-face at least 16 times. Using lecture methods, frequently asked questions and discussions. 4) The guidance process held is personal. The tutor carries out guidance to the learning community who needs more guidance. 5) Briefing given tutor to the citizens learn in the form of advice, motivation, and solutions so that the problems of learning citizens can be completed. Abstract : Long jump is horizontal jump that require good running mechanisms as well as optimum speed at takeoff (departing). The purpose of this research is to know the Relationship of Explosive Muscle LimbWith Results Long Jump Squat Style Students Of Class IX Mts Negeri 1 Kampar Districts Kuok. From each class taken as many as 30% of boys with the total sample were 31 students of class IX MTs Negeri 1 Kampar Districts Kuok. Sampling in this study is a balanced sample (proportional random sampling) conducted to perfect the use of balanced area sampling technique. with the number of students. The result of correlation between explosive muscle limb power with the long jump result of squat style of student of class IX MTs Negeri 1 Kampar Kecamatan Kuok using product moment colleration formula. Testing criteria if rcount > rtable, then there is a relationship. From the calculation of correlation between explosive muscle limb power with long jump results obtained rcount 0.995 while rtable at significant level α = 0.05 is 0.355 with high category because it is on table interpretation value r at point 0,800 - 1,00.Keywords: Explosive, muscle limb, long jump, squat style.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase of formal thinking ability in science lesson by applying cooperative learning model of think talk write type. This research was conducted in MTs N 1 Rokan Hulu Filial North Tambusai in January to May 2018. The population in this study is the students of class VIII 2nd semester of the academic year 2017/2018 consisting of 3 classes. While the sample in this research is 2 homogenous class which chosen at random. The design of this research is Quasi Experimental in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The instrument of data collection in this research is a formal thinking skill test consisting of 10 items of multiple choice by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. From the descriptive analysis, the result of absorption ability of the average of the experimental class students before the treatment is 30,32% with the less good category, after given the students absorbance treatment equal to 60,32% with good enough category while the absorption average of control class before treatment by 37.50% in the less favorable category, after being subjected to average absorption treatment increased by 50% with good enough category. The formal thinking ability of the experimental class students has moderate category with N-Gain 0,48 while control class is 0.22 with low category. Based on inferential analysis through independent sample t test obtained Sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.037 <0.05 which means there is a significant difference. The result of this research can be concluded that the use of cooperative type model of think talk write can improve students' formal thinking ability in MTs N 1 Rokan Hulu Filial Tambusai Utara on the material of geteran, wave and sound.Key Words: Formal Thinking Ability, Cooperative Model, and Think Talk Write

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to determine and analyze the effect ofinstitutional ownership and public ownership on dividend policy. The population in thisresearch is all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for theperiod 2012-2015 that have data institutional ownership, public ownership anddividend policy four consecutive years (2012-2015). Data are obtained from IndonesianCapital Market Directory (ICMD) and website each company. The data analysistechnique used in this research is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSSprogram. The results showed that institutional ownership and public ownershipsimultan eously affect the dividend policy. Partially, institutional ownership negativelyaffect dividend policy and public ownership do not affect the dividend policy.Keywords: Institutional ownership, Public ownership, Dividend Policy

Abstract

Abstract: This research purpose to determine whether there is significant influence either simultaneously or partial between independence learning and readiness learning result on the economic lesson of XI IPS student’s class of YLPI high school Pekanbaru. Population in this research is students on XI IPS class which amount 41 people, sampling in thus population using the technique until saturated that is where the entire population become sample that amount to 41 people. Data in this research is primary data and secondary data. The data collection method is through inquiries and documentation, data analysis method in this research consist of a quantitative analysis descriptive, analysis of regressing doubled linear and analysis of coefficient determination test (R2). Research result showing that independence learning are influential on the learning result of students with significant value 0,000 < 0,005, readiness learning are significant influential with significant value 0,000 < 0,005. In simultaneously the are influental significant between learning independence and readiness learning with learning result it is showned by significant value 0,000 < 0,005. Mean while coefficient determination value (R2) 0,713 it is mean explain variabel ability of independence learning and readiness learning in explain learning outcomes result variabel amount to 71,3% while the rest 28,7% influences by another free variable which is not been discussed in this research.Keyword: Learning Independence, Learning Readiness, Learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to determine the improvement of students' concept understanding by the application of scaffolding learning strategy. The type of this study was quasy experiment with intact group comparison design. The population in this study were the X grade students of SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru which consisted of 4 classes. 2 classes were chosen as the sample of study as experiment and control class based on normality and homogenity tests. The data was collected by giving the test of concept understanding which were consisted of 7 questions based on the indicators of concept understanding. The data was analized by descriptive and inferential analysis. The result of this study showed that there was a significant difference toward the ability of concept understanding between control class which was applied scaffolding learning strategy and control class which was taugh by conventional learning. The concept understanding of experiment class' students were higher than control class. It can be concluded that the scaffolding learning strategy could improve the students' concept understanding.Keywords: Scaffolding learning stategy, concept understanding, momentum, impulse and collision.
