Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the ability to write a letter of service to students of class VIII SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to describe how high the ability to write a letter of service to students of class VIII Junior High School Telecommunications Pekanbaru, and describe the difference of ability to write a letter of service to students of class VIII Junior High School Telecommunications Pekanbaru in each parallel class between the sample groups. This study was conducted on 66 populations with a sample of 57. The results after the test using the Wilxocon test, the ability to write an official letter equal to the value of comparison. The comparative score determined in this study is 65. The ability to write a student letter is equal to the value of comparison, this means that the ability to write a letter of service class VIII students Junior High School Telecommunications Pekanbaru classified low, in other words the hypothesis accepted. Then, tested by using Kruskall Wallis test, to know the difference in the ability to write a letter of service class VIII Junior High School Telecommunications Pekanbaru between sample groups. There were no significant differences in the ability to write letters among the sample groups.Keywords: Ability, Writing, Letter of Service, Student

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the use of UNO Stacko game in learning Japanese vocabulary in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The purpose of the study was to determine the difference between student’s learning outcomes between classes using the UNO Stacko with a class that did not use the UNO Stacko. The object of research is the students of class XI high school Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru of the academic year of 2017/2018 consisting of two classes, namely class XI IPA 3 and class XI IPA 5. This research uses pretest-posttest design, conducted on two classes of experimental class and control classes. the results of study found that the game UNO Stacko can improve student outcomes in learning japanese vocabulary rather than conventional methods. It’s seen from the evaluation value and the difference of pretest and posttest result of the experimental class has increased, that is 80 for the average value in the experimental class and 62,5 in the control classKeywords: Japanese vocabulary , uno stacko

Abstract

Abstract:This study background due to the persitence of low moral intelligence in children. Moral Intelligence has an important role in determining one’s behavior. A good moral intelligence will have a positive impact on the development of children’s sel-regulation. Without being supported by an self regulation, then the children will encounter difficulties in achieving something to its full potential and they will a find it difficult to de succed.The aim of this research is to know determine the corellation of moral intelligence to the self-regulation of children in kindergarten WHY at Tampan District of Pekanbaru. The population of this research is kindergarten’ s teachers at Tampan District of Pekanbaru that consists of 80 children, the samples of this research are 80 childrens which taken by using saturated sampling tecnique. Method of this research is Pearson Product Moment correlation to know the corellation between moral variables with self-regulation of children. In this researh data technique used by uising chek list. The technique of analyzing data used scale test and statistic analytical by using SPSS program for Windows Ver.7. Based on hypothesis there is any significant positive corellation between moral intelligence with self-regulation of children in kindergarten WHY at Tampan District of Pekanbaru. It could be seen from the result of correlation coefficient that  0,788 and significant level is 0,00<0,05. The level of correlation between moral variables with self-regulation of children.is in the middle category with the rank of determinant coefficient in the amount 62%, it means the moral intilligence principalaffect self regulation much 62%  Keywords: moral intelligence,self regulation

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the influence of teachers' creativity and interest in learning on student learning outcomes economic subjects in SMA Negeri 9 Mandau Bengkalis. This research use quantitative descriptive method and population in this research is student of class XI IPS which amounted to 105 people and sample obtained by using proportional random sampling technique counted 51 respondents. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis, data quality test, classical assumption test, hypothesis test, multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination (R2) with the help of SPSS version 16.0. The result of this research is teacher's creativity have a significant effect to student learning result which obtained tcount 4,692> ttable 2,011 and significant value 0,000 <0,05. Interest in learning significantly influence student learning outcomes where obtained tcount 2.589> ttable 2.011 and significant value 0.013 <0.05. Simultaneously there is a significant influence between teacher creativity and student learning interest with learning outcomes where obtained value fhitung 30,750> ftabel 3,191 and significant value 0,000 <0,05. The multiple linear regression equation obtained in this research is Y = 56,515 + 0,157X1 + 0,265X2. This means that if the creativity of teacher (X1) and interest in learning (X2) is zero (0) then the learning result (Y) is 56,515 and every increase of teacher creativity will increase student learning outcomes by 0,157 and every increase of interest learn then will improve student learning outcomes by 0,265. The result of research of coefficient of determination (R2) found that percentage contribution contribution of teacher creativity variable and learning interest to learning result equal to 56,2% and the rest counted 43,8% influenced by other variable not explained in this research. Abstract

Abstract : The Ghost Forest Rimba is an army formed on the result of the meeting of the people of Gunung Toar on Dutch Aggression II 1948-1949. The fighters fought with tactics of guerrilla warfare including the Ghost Jungle Troop who fought in the area of Gunung Toar. The fighting started from a Dutch troop patrol from Kuantan Bay to Lubuk Jambi, unbeknownst to Dutch troops, Dutch troops were attacked by guerrillas from Lubuk Jambi. Given the situation is not possible then the troops of aggression decided to return to Kuantan Bay when the troops of aggression back to Taluk Kuantan was already in the gang by guerrilla forces combined Hantu Rimba troops led Save Datuk Paduko with Halilintar forces led by Kasim Datuk Joindo. Precisely November 1949 at the Pasar Gunung with the position of guerrilla forces Hantu Rimba and Halilintar forces are on the hill, while the Dutch position is under the hill. In a very short time a guerrilla force named Joma Kopun managed to shoot a Dutch troop. The purpose of this research is to know the background of the formation of the Hantu Rimba Troops, the role of the Hantu Rimba Troops facing the Dutch Military Aggression II, to know the end of the struggle of the Hantu Rimba Troops in the face of the Dutch at Gunung Toar 1948-1949. The method used in this research is historical method. The research location is in Petapahan village, in Pisang Berebus village, in Pasar Gunung village. The research time starts from proposal seminar up to Thesis exam. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interview techniques, library techniques, documentation techniques. From the results of the research can be concluded that the Forest Hantu Rimba is an important role in the struggle to maintain Indonesia's independence, especially in Gunung ToarKeywords: Role, Ghost Force Rimba, Dutch Military Aggression II

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the content of the explosive power of muscle limbs with Dollyo Chagi speed on the athlete Taekwondo adolescent Badnur Medisa Club Pekanbaru. The problem in this research is some athletes Taekwondo adolescent Badnur Medisa Club Pekanbaru which has a kick speed is less good. It exercises its slow strength on the feet when dollyo chagi. The purpose of this study was to determine the power of explosive muscle limb with the speed of kick dollyo chagi. This is a correlational study that aims to determine the relationship between independent and dependent variables. After that, the data normality test with Liliefors stage with significant level of α = 0,05, and the result for normality test of X, L0max ((0,237) <Ltable (0,258), test of normality of variable Y, L0maks (0,155) <Ltable ( 0,258), in other words normal distribution of data, then continued with analysis of product moment generated, if rreult> rtable Has significant influence The results showed: there is a significant relationship between muscle explosive power with kolleo chagi kick speed, rresult ( (0,852)> rtable (0,666) .The conclusion is that there is a significant correlation between the power of leg muscle explosive power with the kick speed of dollyo chagi on Taekwondo athlete adolescent Badnur Medisa Club Pekanbaru.Key Words : Explosive Power of Muscle Limbs, Speed of Dollyo Chagi kick

Abstract

Abstract: This research is to determine the factors the factors wich influence the self-confidence of graduates from RA in 1 graders elementary school District of Pujud, Rokan Hilir Regency. The populations of RA graduates in 1 graders of elementary school District of Pujud, Rokan Hilir District are 30 people, the subject of this research are 30 people. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive wich then to test the validity the qualitative method is used. Data collection techniques through observation and interview. Data analysis technique is the percentage formula. After getting the results of percentage, the research do interview repeatedly in order to investigate more in factors wich are impact to the self-confidence. The interview session has done with parents, siblings, teachers, friends, people and children. As we know that the external factors that influence the self-confident in children are parents, teachers, friends, people and experience. On the other hand the internal factors are personal skill, personal achievement, ambition and strong dedication.Keywords: Self-Confidence

Abstract

Abstract : This study describes Hotman Paris Hutapea’s representative acting speech in the Hotman Paris show at the iNews. This study aims to describe the type and function of speech act representative Hotman Paris Hutapea. Research is a type of descriptive-qualitative. The data in the from representative speech of Hotman Paris Hutapea sourced from the video Hotman Paris Show in iNews. The instruments in the study were Hotman Paris Show videos transcribed and typed to get the correct research data. Technique of data collecting is done by documentation and technique of data collecting is done by documentation and technique of free involved ably. Data is taken from five videos begining December 2017 to January 2018, there are of representative speech acts: assertive, predictive, retrodictive, descriptive, ascriptive, informative, confirmative, conscientious, retractive, asentif, dissentive, dispitative, responsive, suggestive. Speech acts wich states, shows, reports, assesses, categorizes, references, informs, concludes, allows, recognizes, references, refutes, accepts, disagrees, objections, questions, responds, suggests, guesses, assumes.Key words: Speech, Representative, Hotman Paris Hutapea.

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this study was firstly emerged from the data found by the researcher that the student’s ability in writing Japanese essays (Sakubun) was still lack. The lack of ability in writing Japanese essays (Sakubun) influences the student’s Japanese language mastery level. The aim of this study is to find out the difference of student’s ability in writing Japanese essays (Sakubun) after implementing Mind Mapping method. The research method of this study was quasi experiment with one group before after or pretest and post-test group design. The sample technique used was total random sampling. The study was done by conducting pretest to know the student’s prior ability, then giving treatments in the experiment class, and the last giving post-test to know the student’s ability. Based on the data analysis, the result was sig 14,36 > 5,04. It means that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that Mind Mapping method is effective in learning of Japanese essays (Sakubun) on the third-level students of Japanese Education Department Faculty of Teacher’s Training and Education Riau University.Keywords: Sakubun, writing skill, Mind Mapping Method

Abstract

Abstract: One of the most common forms of violence in schools is bullying. Bullying is a deliberate act of harming others and there is an element of satisfaction for the bullies. The lack of character education in schools causes many students to engage in bullying that can harm the bullies and his own victims. Applying the value of the character to the student is something that should be done in the world of education. Because of the many problems that occur with the character of students at school, encouraging writers to do research about it. The purpose of this research is to know the description of bullies behavior in view of physical bullying, verbal, and mental as well as to know the description of bullies student characters at SMPN 13 Pekanbaru. The subject in this study amounted to thirty students. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. To analyze data using the percentage formula. The results showed that the behavior of bullies are in the medium category and the character value of bullies are in the high category. The conclusions of this study are a higher aspect of verbal bullying, then physical, and mental. For the character value of bullying students, the six aspects are in the high category of tolerance, friendly/communicative, caring, honest, social and responsibility. Discipline aspect is in the medium category. It is advisable for school to better monitor students development so that bullying behavior does not happen again.Key Word: Bullies, Character Value
