<![CDATA[Abstract: According to the problem in the male volleyball team of SMA OLAHRAGA PEKANBARU, the researcher observed the training or the match time that the male volleyball team had a lot of deficiencies. One of them was the agility to recieve the smash or block. As a result, the players could not manage the smash, block, or service. The aim of the research was to obtain the effect of Square Run training towards the agility of the male volleyball team of SMA OLAHRAGA Pekanbaru. The population of the research was the players of the male volleyball team followed the training of volleyball at SMA OLAHRAGA Pekanbaru in the amount of 12. The technic of obtaining the samples was Total Sampling. The data analysis used T-Test. Based on the the analysis, it was able to be concluded that there was a significant effect between Square Run training and the agility of the players in the male volleyball team of SMA OLAHRAGA Pekanbaru with the result tcount 3.850 > ttable 1,796 to α = 0.05. It proved that by using Square Run training increased the better agility.Key Words: Square Run training, Agility]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This study examines the ability to write the news text of the students of grade VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to describe how high the level of writing skills of news text of students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 and describe the differences in the ability to write explanatory text between groups or between classes. This study has a population of 198 and a sample of 133. The results when tested using the Wilcoxon Test is the ability to write persuasion text equal to the value of comparison. The comparative value applied in this study was 84. The students 'writing ability was the same as the comparison score, which means that the ability to write high school students' news text is high. In other words the hypothesis is accepted. Then tested by using Kruskall Wallis. The result is that there is no difference in the ability of writing explanatory text of class VIII students between classes. Based on the results of research writers can be seen that the ability to write students are high because students have complete facilities and teachers are very creative in teaching and learning process. <![CDATA[Abstract: The study aims to determine the effect of outbound activities on the independence of children aged 5-6 years in Pertiwi TK Pekanbaru City. This research is an experimental research using one group design under pre-test by using an sheets of children's independence. The sample in this study were class B3 as many as 15. The method used is pre-experiment with one group desgn that is experiment conducted only in one group without any comparison group. The type of instrument used in this study was by utilizing an observation guidelines to record the activities that occurred during the given treatment. Based on hypothesis test results obtained that there wasan effect of outbound activities on the independence of children aged 5-6 years. Obtained t value of 19,972 with sig 0,00, due to sig <0,05, it can be concluded that there are significant differences in independence in students before and after the application of activities outbound. In hypothesis test can be seen t calculate = 19,972 > t table = 2,110. It can be interpreted that there are significant differences in results between pretest and posttest. <![CDATA[Abstract : The type of this research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. This research conducted of class VII5 SMPN 4 Pekanbaru on secons semester of academic year 2017/2018 wich consists of 35students. This study aims to improve the learning process and improve the student’smathematical problem solving skill (MPSS) by applying Problem Solving Strategy (PSS). The instruments used in this research were learning instrumentsused include syllabus, lesson plan, student work sheets and the instruments of collecting data were observation sheets and MPPS test. After analysis of implementing the Problem Solving Strategy on students and teacher activity, during the learning process student’s participation in learnig more active. The MPSS test data of analyzed students’activity shows an improvement. The mean of the student’s learning achievmentfor scores early 49.72 increase in cycle I which is 68.86 had improved to 85.31in cycle II. <![CDATA[Abstrack: this research was effected by several factors that are considered to greatly affect the implementation of the Literacy Movement Schools which further shortened with GLS good which is an inhibitor of factor or factor endowments in the implementation of the GLS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. Formulation of the problem in this research is "what are the factors in the implementation of the GLS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru?". This research aims to find out what factors in the implementation of the GLS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru in August-September 2018. This research is quantitative deskriftif which became the population in this research is 79 Teachers and learners 1185 total amounted to 1261. The sample in this study is taken based on the technique of "Stratified Sample". Where the class is taken i.e. XI and class teacher. Data collection instruments namely observation, documentation, question form and interview. Data Analysis with quantitative descriptive. The calculation of the percentage of overall respondents answer on factor endowments by respondents learners with indicators and infrastructure which stated "Yes" i.e. of 96.03%. And infrastructure by the 8th guru of respondents (eight) sub indicator of 100%, but on understanding indicators educators and education amounted to 95%, and on the power indicator support Government of 68.75%. Then it can be inferred the factors in the implementation of the GLS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru that a factor supporting most high is an indicator of "facilities and infrastructure", while the teacher the highest barrier to be a factor in the implementation of the GLS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru is an indicator of "Power support Community".Keywords: Factors, School Literacy Movement]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This pre-experimental research is aimed to find out whether or not there is an effect of Round Table Technique on the writing ability of the second year students of SMPN 40 Pekanbaru in writing recount texts. This research used one group pre-test and post-test design. In conducting this research, a single group from the second grade was selected to be a sample by using Cluster Random Sampling. There are 36 students as the sample. The results of this study shows that the mean score of post-test was higher than pre-test (49.12 > 41.13). After analyzing the data, the writer found that t-test score was -10.645 while t-table score in significance level 5% df = 35 was 2.030. Since the value of the t-test was higher than the t-table, it can be concluded that alternative hypothesis was accepted. It means that “there is an effect of Round Table Technique on the students’ writing ability of SMPN 40 Pekanbaru in writing recount texts. Based on the research findings, it is suggested that Round Table Technique can help the students improve their writing ability especially in writing recount texts.Key Words: Effect, Round Table Technique, Writing Ability, Recount Text]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract : This research took place at Pekanbaru SMK LABOR. This research was conducted on July 23, 2018 until September 7, 2018 The research method used by the author in this study was the experimental method. The design of this study was a pre-test posttest one group design which was started by doing a pretest Vertical Jump. After that the sample is given an Alternate leg box baund training program for 16 meetings. After that, the Posttest Vertical Jump is done. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively, then the next research hypothesis was tested which had been submitted according to the problem, namely: "There is the effect of the Alternate leg box baund (X) exercise on the improvement of Leg Muscle Power (Y). Based on the analysis carried out, the value of tcount between the initial test and the final test of the Alternate leg box training on power with t table at a significant level of 0.05 with degrees of freedom N - 1 (9) shows that tcount (9.48)> t table (1,895) thus it can be concluded that the hypothesis states that there is the effect of Alternate leg box baund (X) training on limb muscle power (Y) on Pekanbaru's volleyball team.Keywords: Alternate Leg Box Bound, Leg Muscle Explosive Power]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Research it’s done to know the quality of the final semester exam made by the science teacher of junior high school all sub-districts Tambang regency Kampar lesson year 2017/2018. This research was implemented in June-November 2018 in the Study of Biology University of Riau. Research uses a survey method with type cross sectional design. The sample is selected of purposive sampling that consists of the even semester exam and the answer sheet of class students VII in Junior High School of 2 Tambang, Junior High School of 4 Tambang and Junior High School of 5 Tambang. The parameters in this research are a quantitative analysis consisting of the difficulty level, the power of the criterion, the function of distraktor, validity and reliability. Based on the result of quantitative analysis by using anatest version 4.10 shows that 38 questions received without repair (31,66%), 81 questions need repair (67,5%) and 1 questions being replaced (0,83%). <![CDATA[Abstract: This research aims to knowing people’s perceptions about the role of The Indonesian Republican Police Force in overcoming drug abuse among teenagers in Tualang Sub-District Siak District. Respondent in this research were 100 person by using Proportional Area Sampling Technique. Data collection techniques that are carried out namely through observation, questionnaire, interview, library and documentation. The research method used is mixed research namely quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysts. This method is done with processing data whose data results presented through percentage calculation from the questionnaire and the respondent’s description from the interview. Based on the rseults of the research conducted regarding people’s perceptions about the role of the national police in overcoming drug abuse among teenagers in Tualang Sub-District Siak District, it can be conclued that overall data about the role of the national police in overcoming drug abuse in range 0% - 25% then the range is included to the range “Not Good” with the acquestion of a percentage of 45%. Based on the results of the study and data analysis, then the researcher providers recommendations namely to the local police in Tualang Sub-District Siak District in this case it is Tualang Police to be able to improve performance and effort in combating and overcoming drug abuse in Tualang Sub-District Siak District.Key Words: The Role Of The National Police, Overcome, Drugs]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The problem in this study is that the top service skills are still notgood, this is seen when the athlete performs top service, service that sometimes does notenter, deviates and concerns on the net. Where at the time of service for the swing of thearm is less extensive and less strong so that it affects the speed of the ball thatsometimes involves on the net and can also deviate out. This study aims to determinehow much the contribution of arm and shoulder muscle strength and hand eyecoordination on the results of service on volleyball Team of Muhammadiyah 1Vocational School Pekanbaru. This type of research is Correlation to see the level ofrelationship of different variables. The sampling technique is the total population (totalsampling) of Volleyball soccer athletes at the Muhammadiyah Vocational High School1 Pekanbaru, 12 samples of female athletes from Muhammadiayh Vocational School 1Pekanbaru numbered 12 people. This research was conducted at the University ofRiau's Education Education Campus Volleyball Lapanga. The instrument used in thisstudy was Exspanding Dynamometer, tennis ball catch test and top service test. Theresults of the data in this study are top service. Analysis was carried out using multiplecorrelations. Based on data analysis and discussion, it was proven by Rhitung 0.293>Rtable 0.242 with a contribution of 8.58%. Means Rhitung> Rtabel. At the level of ɑ =0.05. Then it can be concluded that there is a contribution of arm and shoulder musclestrength and hand eye coordination on the results of volleyball service at the 1amPekan Baru Military Vocational Team.Key Words: Arm and Shoulder Muscle Strength, Hand Eye Coordination,Upper Service.]]>
