Abstract

Abstrak : The problem raised in this research is "Training Interval Training on the Endurance of the Wahana Putra Pekanbaru Volley ball Player?" So that in the future athletes can perform and play much better and most importantly after research and find out if there is an increase in power hold the athlete in the game of volleyball in order to balance the opponent's game and achieve maximum results in the future. The form of this research is (using the one group pretest-posttest design approach) with the population of the Pekanbaru Wahana Putra Volleyball Club players. the data in this research are all populations of 8 people. The instrument carried out in this research was to use the Bleep Test, which aims to determine the effect of interval training exercises on the durability of the men's rides volleyball club pekanbaru. After that, the data was processed with statistics, to test normality using the lilifours test at a significant level of 0.05α. The hypothesis proposed is that there is an effect of the Interval Training exercise on the Endurance of Volleyball Players in Club Wahana Putra Pekanbaru. Based on the normal test analysis the data X produces Lhitung of 0.2188 and Ltable 0.285, meaning Lcount <Ltable. while the Y variable produces Lhitung of 0.1668 and Ltabel of 0.285. This means Lcount <LTable. Based on the analysis of statistical data, there is an average variable X 30 and the mean score of Y variable is 33.12, then the data is normally distributed. Thus, there is the effect of Interval Training exercises on the Endurance of Volleyball Players of Wahana Putra Pekanbaru club.Keywords: Interval training, endurance

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study was that the arm and shoulder muscle strength was lacking. This type of research is a type of experimental research to see the effects of this form of exercise. The purpose of this rope climbing exercise on the strenght of the muscles of the arms and shoulders of riau wrestling athlete cadet. Population in this research is athletes the cadet riau wrestling to 6 people son. The sampling technique is by using total sampling, in which the total population is sampled. Technique of taking data obtained from pre-test and posttest. Instrument in this research using Test of expanding dynamometer as tool to measure pull and push the muscles of the arms and shoulders. The analysis was performed using t-test. Based on the analysis and discussion of data, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of rope climbing exercise on the strenght of the muscles of the arms and shoulders of riau wrestling athlete cadet as evidenced by Thitung of 14,705 and Ttabel 1,943. Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is that the speed of kick is still lacking, it is seen from various tests and official matches and this is one of the factors causing defeat. This type of research is a type of experimental research to see the effects of this form of exercise. The purpose of this research is to see the effect of straight kick without load exercise on speed of kick athletes the martial art female group Tapak suci of Pekanbaru. Population in this research is athletes the martial art female group Tapak suci of Pekanbaru which amounted to 6 people. The sampling technique is by using total sampling, in which the total population is sampled. Technique of taking data obtained from pre-test and posttest. Instrument in this research using Test of kick punching bag in 10 seconds as tool to measure speed of kick skill. The analysis was performed using t-test. Based on the analysis and discussion of data, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of straight kick without load exercises on speed of kick athletes the martial art female group Tapak suci of Pekanbaru as evidenced by Thitung of 8,333 and Ttabel 1,943. Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to find out the effect of discovery learning on reading comprehension of the first year students of SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci in descriptive text.The data were collected in July to August. The population of this research is the first year students of SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. The number of sample is 35 students who are chosen by using cluster random sampling technique. This research is a pre experimental research with one group pre-test post-test design. The instrument to collect the data was multiple choice tests with 25 questions. The result of the data analysis showed that the mean score of pre-test is 64,8 while in post-test is 73. 05. It showed that the mean score of post-test was higher than pre-test. Hence, there is a significant effect effect of discovery learning on reading comprehension of the first year students of SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci in descriptive text.Keywords: Pre Experimental, Discovery Laerning, Reading Comprehension, Senior High School, First Year Students.

Abstract

Abstract : This study is aimed to find out the ability of the second year students of SMPN5TelukKuantan in comprehending descriptive texst. It is a descriptive research which was carried at from July-August 2018. The population were 123 students, their characters are homogeneous in terms of academic achievementand age factors. The cluster random strategies technique was choosen due to that every class has equal opportunity to be a sample group. The sample consisted of two categories, try out class (VIII C) and sample class (VIII A)The data in this research is quantitative data. The students was give a multiple coice test, in which they asked to answer the question. The test focused on the material of descriptive text. The subjects require choosing the best answer of the provide questions. Five texts used in the instruments. Each text consisted of six item multiple choices. There are 30 items that included in this test. The duration time doing the test is 60 minutes. The test constructed by referring to the components of reading comprehension is finding main ideas, finding factual information, finding references, finding the maning of difficult words, and finding restatement. The data were analyzed by calculating the students’ scores, classified into five level mastery, such as very poor, poor, mediocre, good and excellent. Based on the analyzing data of this research, it was found that the students’ ability in comprehending descriptive text at second year students of SMPN 5TelukKuantan was in good level. Meanwhile, the mean score of the whole students’ scores was 67.4. The implication of the finding is that the second year students of SMPN 5 TelukKuantan is able enough at comprehend descriptive texts.Keyword : students’ ability, comprehending descriptive texts

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the kotowaza and kanyouku with elements of flowers, especially cherry blossoms, roses, and lotus which have metaphorical meanings in Japanese society. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using Lakoff and Johnson's figurative theory with cognitive linguistic approach. The background to this research is difficulty understanding the relationship between the meaning of kotowaza and kanyouku to individuals outside of their speaking communities because cultural differences background from the formation of the kotowaza and kanyouku. The study aims is to know the kotowaza and kanyouku with elements of flowers and their metaphorical meanings. As the results, from 12 data consisting of 9 kotowaza and 3 kanyouku found 6 structural metaphors and 6 ontological metaphors. Then based on the content (naiyo), the discovery of 1 Jinsei no oshie, shinri o arawashita, 5 Seikatsu no chisiki, chie o tataite wataru, and 1 Hito o hihan shitari hinikuttari shita mono, and 2 Monogoto no yoosu omoshiroku tatoeta mono. The metaphorical meaning found in kanyouku refers to food, beauty, and positive character.Key Words: metaphor, flower, kotowaza, kanyouku, cognitive linguistics

Abstract

Abstract : Based on the observation of authors in carrying out observations in a male student of class VIII at the Pekanbaru Methodist Middle School, the data description of this research consisted of two variables, namely variables, namely free speed (X) and dependent variable as a result. of the offset (Y). Speed measurement was performed with 30 meters run against 15 samples, the best results achieved 3.45, worst results 5.94, mean (average) 4.93, standard deviation (standard deviation) 0.83, based on the frequency distribution table of the 8 samples showed that there were 2 samples (13.33%) with the results of velocities with a range of values from 3.45 to 3.94 with excellent categories, then 2 samples (13.33%) had a velocity with a range of values 3.95-4.44 with good categories, and 2 samples (13.33%) had the results of speed with a range of values from 4.45 to 4.94 with moderate categories, then had 4 people in the sample (26.66%) results speed with a range of values from 4.95 to 5.44 with fewer categories and 5 samples (33.33%) to have a velocity with a range of values of 5.45 -5.94 with a category of very little. The measurement of the results of the long jump was performed using the offset test for 15 samples, the best result was 2.60, the worst result was 3.83, the average (mean) was 3.30, the standard deviation was 0, 41. The first test is that there is a correlation between speed and the results of the long jump. From the information above obtained a correlation analysis between speed and the results of the long jump, where the rtab at a significant level (0.05) = 0.0.514 means r count (1.452)> rtab (0.514) then there is a significant correlation.Keywords : speed, long jump

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to find out the ability of the second year sudents of the state vocational high school (SMKN) 1 Rambah in comprehending narrative texs. It is a descriptive research carried at from August-September 2018. There are ten classes in this research. The population were 271 students, their characters are homogeneous in terms of academic achievement and age factors. The cluster random strategies technique was choosen due to that every class has equal ooportunity to be a sample group. The sample conpused of two categories, try out class (XI TKJ 1) and sample class (XI AK 1). Try out class consisted of 30 students and 30 students from sample class. In this research, the try out test aimed at acknowledging the validity of the test. The time allocation to administer the try out test and the revised test was 45 minutes for each of them. The data were analyzed by calculating the students’ scores, classified into five level mastery, such as very poor, poor, mediocre, good and excellent. Based on the analyzing data of this research, the students’ ability in comprehending narrative text at the second year students of the state vocational high school (SMKN) 1 Rambah was in good level. Meanwhile, the mean score of the whole students’ scores was 61.93. The implication of the finding is that the second year students of the state vocational high school (SMKN) 1 Rambah is able enough in comprehend narrative texts.Key Words : Students’ Ability, Comprehending Narrative Texts

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine whether the application of cooperative model type Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) can improve civic education learning outcome students grade V of state elementary school 011 Redang Seko. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with subjects in class V which number 32 people. The problem of this study is the low student learning outcomes which are characterized by the large number of students under the KKM. Data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and interviews and then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study concluded that Civic learning with the cooperative learning type TGT can improve teacher activities, student activities and learning outcomes of civic education. Seen in the first cycle of the first meeting the percentage of teacher activity scores was 70.83% to 83.33%. In the second cycle the first meeting the percentage of teacher activities obtained was 91.66%, then increased to 95.83%. The average percentage of student activity in the first cycle of the first meeting was 75% to 79.16%. In the second cycle the first meeting the percentage of student activities obtained was 83.33% then increased to 91.66%. The average student learning outcomes increased from the basic score of 65.71 to 77.03 in the first cycle and in the second cycle the average learning outcomes increased to 81.56. The increase in the average student learning outcomes from the basic score to the second cycle is 24.12%. It can be concluded that the cooperative learning model type TGT can improve the learning outcomes of grade V 011 Redang Seko elementary school in the district of Lirik, in the Indragiri Hulu Regency.Key Words: Cooperative Learning Model Type Teams Games Tournaments (TGT), Civic education learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effect of the role playing methods towards the level of Self Awareness in children aged 4-5 year in Tk Islam Fatimah sub district Tampan of Pekanbaru City. The research used experimental method with one group pre-test post-test design. The sampel used in this study were 20 students. The data collection technique used is observation. Technique of data analysis using t-test by using program of Spss 25. Research hypothesis that there is the effect of the role playing method towards the level of Self Awareness of children aged 4-5 years in Tk Islam Fatimah sub district Tampan of Pekanbaru City. Based on data analysis known tcalculated = 14,567 > ttable = 2,145 with Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. Because Sig <0,05 it can be concluded that there are differences in levels of Self Awareness before and after the role playing method. It can be interpreted that there is the effect of the role playing method towards the level of Self Awareness of children aged 4-5 years in TK Islam Fatimah sub district Tampan of Pekanbaru City.
