Abstract

Abstrak: Indonesian society has a diverse life of races, ethnicities, languages and culture. Diversity is based on environmental conditions that havean impact on aspects of social life and are character by some people who are still living traditionally and modern. One of them is the life style of the Sakai who still perform traditional ceremonies in the traditional form such as traditional wedding ceremonies. The purpose on the study was 1) to find out the history of the Sakai 2) to find out the traditional marriage of the sakai in the Bonai Darussalam 3) to find out the purpose of the sakai marriage customs of the Sakai in Bonai Darussalam 4) to know the Religion of the Sakai 5) to find out to preserve The traditional marriage traditions of the Sakai community in the Bonai Darussalam. As for this study using Qualitative methods with data collection teahniques through interview, observation, literature study and documentation. The result of this research is that the sakai marriage system has a procedure that starts with the stage before marriage, the marriage ceremony stage therew is a series, which in each stage there is a series of the activities that are very thick with there customs, in the customs of marriage it also hasa several objectivies including to preserve the Sakai trible culture that has existed since its ancestions.Key Words: The Traditional Marriage Tradition of the Sakai Bonai Darussalam Rokan Hulu.

Abstract

Absrtact: This research aimed to describe the level of ability to write descriptive text of class VII Teluk Kuantan 2 junior high school students, and describes the comparison of the writing descriptive text between male and female students of class VII Teluk Kuantan 2 Junior High School. Writing descriptive text is the ability of writing descriptive text in providing title, general description, part description, conclusion by using chosen topic. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The data source used was the score of the ability to write descriptive text of class VII students of SMPN 2 Teluk Kuantan. The test was conducted by using a test the normality of a single data curve, ad using the independent samples T test. Based on the test results, it was concluded that the ability to write descriptive text of class VII student of SMPN 2 Teluk Kuantan was classified as moderate and there was no difference in the ability to write descriptive text between male and female students of class VII students of SMPN 2 Teluk Kuantan.Key Words: descriptive text, writing skill

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to describe the effective speed of readingthe exposition text of Social Sciences class X Pekanbaru 8 High School students, and describes the comparison of the effective reading speed of the exposition text per group of Social Sciences class X students of SMA 8 Pekanbaru through a set of test tools, namely objective tests containing two texts exposition and 20 items. The method used in this research is quantitative research, which results in the conclusion that the effective reading speed of the exposition text of class X SMAN 08 Pekanbaru is very low in category and the effective reading speed of exposition text of class X SMAN 08 Pekanbaru per sample group is not the same (different).Key Words: Effective reading speed, exposition text.

Abstract

Abstract: According to the problem in the male volleyball team of SMA OLAHRAGA PEKANBARU, the researcher observed the training or the match time that the male volleyball team had a lot of deficiencies. One of them was the agility to recieve the smash or block. As a result, the players could not manage the smash, block, or service. The aim of the research was to obtain the effect of Square Run training towards the agility of the male volleyball team of SMA OLAHRAGA Pekanbaru. The population of the research was the players of the male volleyball team followed the training of volleyball at SMA OLAHRAGA Pekanbaru in the amount of 12. The technic of obtaining the samples was Total Sampling. The data analysis used T-Test. Based on the the analysis, it was able to be concluded that there was a significant effect between Square Run training and the agility of the players in the male volleyball team of SMA OLAHRAGA Pekanbaru with the result tcount 3.850 > ttable 1,796 to α = 0.05. It proved that by using Square Run training increased the better agility.Key Words: Square Run training, Agility

Abstract: the purpose of this study is (1) to find out the history of the emergence of the kingdom of padang (2) To know the glory of the kingdom under the rule of the king of malay(3) To know the decline of the kingdom of the field (4) To find out the relics of the kingdom of the field. The benefit of this research are (1) To applicatiom the science of the writer Selma sitting on the lecture bench, adding to the write’s insight into local history (2)To obtain a bachelor’s degree in education science at the University of Riau (3) as a reference source for readers, the government and the people of North Sumatera, especially the people in the City Tebing Tinggi about the history of the kingdom of Padanf in order to complete local historical writing (4) as a scientific work contribution to the history education program of Riau University (5) As a means of information and reference material for further research related to the same problem, especially for history students. In this method uses qualitative research methods. The results of this study, the kingdom that once stood at jln. K.F Tandean the 3 main city neighboarhoods of the Tebing Tinggi North Sumatera around the 17 th century. Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the correlation between self efficacy and skills in managing classes for early childhood and teachers in the north tambusai sub district Rokan Hulu. The population of this study is about 43 early childhood and teachers in the North Tambusai sub-district. This study used quantitative correlation to determine the correlation between the independent and dependent variables. Data collecting technique used questioners on likert scale. The result of the test was analyzed by using likert scale trial through IBM SPSS (statistical package for social science) version 21. From the analysis, it was showed that there is a positive correlation between self efficacy and skills in managing classes for early childhood and teachers in the north tambusai sub district Rokan Hulu. It can be seen from the correlation coefficient rxy= 0.378 with significance 0.012<0.05. The category is low with determinant coefficient KD= r2 x 100% = 0,3782 x 100%= 14,29% it is mean that self efficacy influences about 14,29% to the skills in managing classes.Key Word: Early Childhood and Teachers Self Efficacy and Early Childhood and Teachers Skills In Managing Classes

Abstract

Abstract :This study aims to determine the differences in the level ofinterpersonal communication before and after given the pantun reciprocated techniquethrough group guidance, and to know the effect of the pantun reciprocated technique toimprove student interpersonal communication through group guidance. The study wasconducted at Pekanbaru State Middle 9 of 7 subjects with purposive samplingtechnique. The research design was pre-experiment with the one group pre-test post-testmodel. The instrument of data collection used is an instrument consisting of indicatorsof interpersonal communication. The results showed that there were differences in thelevel of interpersonal communication of students before and after given the pantunreciprocated technique through group guidance with a significance value of 0.017<0.05. Interpersonal communication of 7 students who were previously in the lowcategory experienced an increase after being given the pantun reciprocated techniquethrough group guidance which were mostly in the high category. by 60% while 40% isinfluenced by other factors that come from within students and the environment.Key Words: Pantun Reciprocated Technique, Interpersonal Communication, Group Guidance.

Abstract

Abstract: this reaserchis motivated by the mutual cooperation as a characteristic of the Indonesian nation that has been passed down for generation which is listed in the third principle of Pancasila namely the unity of Indonesian. The mutual cooperation character in Riau region is initialy driven by traditional leader’s policies in fostering their generation in achieving unity and entity in community life. The same as the tradition of Batobo which is carried out by malay people, especially in Kuantan Singingi district which has been carried out for generation. The formulation of the problem in this research is to find out wheter there Pancasila values in the Batobo tradition in Teluk Beringin village, Gunung Toar subdistrict Kuantan Singingi district. The population in this reaserch is the people of Teluk Beringin village. While the sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique which is as many as 16 people from Tobo group members and Ninik Mamak who understand more about the Batobo tradition in Teluk Beringin village, Gunung Toar subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi district. The data collection technique in tihs reaserch are observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this reaserch is descriptive quantitative by using the formula P = F/N x 100%. Based on the result of the reaserch, it can be concluded that from 16 respondents in the procession before going down to the field or rice field the respondents who state Yes that Batobo tradition contains the values of Pancasila is 95,5%, who state No is 4,5%, then when they are going down to the field or rice field. The respondents who state Yes that batobo tradition contains the values of Pancasila is 67,2%, who state No is 32,8%, and after going down to the field or rice field the respondent who state Yes is 100%, and who state No is 0%. So this reaserch proves that in the Batobo tradition in Teluk Beringin village, Gunung Toar subdstrict Kuantan Singingi district is contained the Pancasila values.Key Words: Pancasila Values, Batobo Tradition

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the description of students' self-confidence before and after being given a Role Playing technique, differences in students' confidence before and after being given a Role Playing technique and to increase students' self-confidence through group guidance. The research method used is a quantitative method with the type of pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest research. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru with low self-confidence, amounting to 7 people. The instruments of data collection used were questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is the Non Parametric statistical technique using the Wilcoxon Test and the Spearman Rank Test. The results showed students 'confidence before being given role playing techniques through group guidance were mostly in the low category of 100% and after being given role playing techniques through group guidance students' self-confidence experienced an increase namely in the high category of 71, 40% and in the medium category 28.60%. Based on the Wilcoxon Test there are significant differences in student self-confidence before and after being given role playing techniques through group guidance with a significance value of 0.018 <α 0.05. Based on the Spearman Rank Test, it can be concluded that the relationship between role playing techniques through group guidance and student confidence is in the high category of 0.746 or 56%. Next to find out the detemination coefficient as follows: (rs) 2 = (0.746) 2 = 0.556. This means that the influence of role playin techniques through group guidance services to improve student self-confidence is 56% while 44% is influenced by other factors that originate in students and from the student environmentKey Words: Role Playing, Self Confidence,Group Guidance.

Abstract

Abstract: Learning anxiety is a feeling of tension, worry and fear of something that will happen, these feelings interfere with the implementation of various tasks and activities in learning where learning anxiety will affect physical, emotional and mental cognitive conditions. One way to reduce anxiety is to use Dhikr therapy. The purpose of this study was to describe students' learning anxiety before and after being given Dhikr therapy through group guidance, to determine differences in student learning anxiety before and after being given Dhikr therapy through group guidance and to find out the influence of Dhikr therapy through group guidance on reducing student learning anxiety. This research is an experimental quantitative study with the approach of one group pre-test and post-test subjects in this study were 8 students taken by purposive sampling technique with the questionnaire results. The results showed that: (1) students 'anxiety before being given Dhikr therapy through group guidance were mostly in the high category, students' anxiety after being given Dhikr therapy through group guidance were mostly in the low category. (2) There is a significant difference between student learning anxiety before and after being given Dhikr Therapy through group guidance which shows a decrease in student learning anxiety. (3) There is a significant effect of Dhikr therapy on student learning anxiety through group guidance.Key Words: Therapy, Dhikr Asmaul Husna, Learning Anxiety
