Abstract

Abstrak: The Riau-Lingga Sultanate is a Malay-patterned kingdom that is under the Malay Peninsula. The Riau-Lingga Sultanate was the successor of the Malacca Sultanate which became the beginning of the founding of Malay Empire with the famous sultan, Sultan Mahmud Riayatsyah who ruled from 1777-1812. Sultan Mahmud Riayatsyah's government began in 1777. The purpose of this study was (1) To know the government of the Riau-Lingga Sultanate during the leadership of Sultan Mahmud Riayatsyah (2) To know out the social, political and economic conditions of the Riau-Lingga Sultanate during the reign of Sultan Mahmud Riayatsyah (3) to know the business carried out by Sultan Mahmud Riayatsyah in strengthening the position of the sultanate during his reign in the Sultanate of Riau-Lingga (4) to know the distribution of power at the end of Sultan Mahmud Riayatsyah's administration. This research uses historical methods. The results of this study are that the reign of Sultan Mahmud Riayatsyah was the starting point for the development of the cities of Tanjungpinang and Daik Lingga as a bustling city. Defense cooperation with outside parties is well established in strengthening its position. Advanced economic development through trade, gambier plantations and tin mining at that time. Islam developed rapidly at that time with the establishment of the Sultan Lingga Mosque in Daik Lingga. The period of his administration was assisted by royal officials who served as advisors to the sultan.Key Words: History, Kingdom

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aims to know the differences of class speaking anxiety before and after the given role playing techniques through group guidance to reduce the anxiety of speaking in front of the class. This research was done in the SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru on 7 subjects with a purposive sampling technique. The research design was pre-experiment with the one group pre-test post-test model. Data collection instruments used is the now the anxiety of speaking in front of the class is adapted from Nofrans (2009). The results showed that there is a difference in the thinking and after the given role playing techiniques with a value of significance 0,018 < 0,05. The influence of the techniques of acting against the anxiety of speaking infront of the class through the guidance of the group is 61,7% while 38,3% affected by other factors that originate from within and from the learners.Key Words : Role Playing, Speaking of Anxiety, The Guidance Group

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to know that there is any between the meaningfulness of life and the resilience of PAUD teachers in Pasir Penyu Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The population in this study were all PAUD teachers in Pasir Penyu Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency, amounting to 93 people. For the study sample there were 73 people. The method used in this research is quantitative correlation to see the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires in the form of a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses scale testing and statistical method analysis with the IBM SPSS for Windows Ver program. 20. Based on the results of hypothesis testing there is a significant positive relationship between the meaningfulness of life and the resilience of PAUD teachers in Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. This can be seen from the correlation coefficient value of rxy = 0.453 and the significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The level of the relationship between the meaningfulness of life and teacher resilience is included in the medium category with the determinant coefficient produced is equal to KD = r² x 100% = 20.52% which means that the meaningfulness of life has an effect of 20.52% on resilience.Key Words: Meaning of Life, Resilience

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is that the ability to dribble the players is still not optimal. The speed and agility of the athlete when dribbling is still not optimal, this can be seen when the athlete carries the ball is still not fast, so the ball is easily captured by the opponent. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of Speed and agility (hollow sprint with ball) training on ball dribbling skills in the Existing PSM FC U-17 Soccer Players. The population in this research were 18-member PSM FC Pujud U-17 soccer players. The sampling technique used was total sampling or saturated samples so that the sample in this research amounted to 18 people. To determine the impact of speed and agility training (hollow sprint with ball), a test instrument was used, namely pree test and post test ball dribbling to measure ball dribbling skills in the PSM FC Under-17 soccer players. Then to prove the presence or absence of influence from the training provided, a significance test t or t test is performed. From the results of the calculation it is known that the value of tcount is 23,699 which is greater than the value of ttable which is 2,110. so that the alternative hypothesis is accepted, namely there is the influence of speed and agility (hollow sprint with ball) on dribbling skills in the U-17 PSM FC players. This shows that, the better the application of speed and agility (hollow sprint with ball), the better the dribbling skills of the PSM FC Under-17 soccer players.Key Words: Speed and agility training (hollow sprint with ball) dribbling skills

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out the ability level of male and female students and the significant difference between the ability of the second year male and female students of SMP IT Aziziyyah Pekanbaru on comprehending descriptive texts. The research was conducted from March 18, 2019 up to April 10, 2019. The population of this research was the second year students of SMP IT Aziziyyah Pekanbaru with the total number of 88 students (52 males and 36 females). A purposive sampling technique was used to determine the sample of the research. The total sample was 72 students that consisted of 36 male students and 36 female students. To collect the data in this research multiple choice tests were used. Descriptive text was used to know the students' ability on reading comprehension. The result of the research showed that the ability of the second year male and female students of SMP IT Aziziyyah Pekanbaru on comprehending descriptive texts is in good level and there is no significant difference on comprehending descriptive texts in term of their genders. It means that Null hypothesis (H0) is accepted and Alternative hypothesis (H1) is rejected.Key Words: Comparative, Gender, Reading, Descriptive Text

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effects of self management techniques in reducing the aggressive behaviour of students in SMKN 4 Pekanbaru. The quantitative research method was used in this study and the research was designed based on the one-group pretest – posttest design. The measuring instrument used in this study was the aggressive behavioural measurement scale consisting of 50 and 35 items before and after validation respectively. The validity score was calculated to be 0.396 and the reliability score was obtained as 0.948. The subject was determined by using purposive sampling technique, and it was obtained that 7 students in SMK 4 Pekanbaru were identified as having a high level of aggressive behaviour. The data were analysed by using the non-parametric statistical technique and were tested by using the Wilcoxon analysis test. This is known from "Test Statistics", known as Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) worth 0.017. Because the value of 0.017 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted". To that end, it can be concluded that there are differences in the scores of aggressive behavior before and after treatment given in the form of self management techniques. The results of the study showed that the there are differences in the scores of aggressive behaviour before and after treatment, in the form of self management techniques. Based on the calculations that have been done, the 71% Pre-test is in the very high category and 29% in the high category. Post-test was 71% in the medium category and 29% in the low category. Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So that it can be concluded that the technique of self management can reduce the aggressive behavior of students of SMKN 4 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Self management, Aggressive behaviour

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine spelling errors that include the use of capital letters, the use of italics, and the use of punctuation punctuation marks contained in the University of Riau Student Act Number 3 of 2018 based on the rules that apply to the General Spelling of Language Guidelines Indonesia. Based on the data analysis that has been done, the use of capital letters that are not in accordance with the Indonesian Spelling rules in the text of the University of Riau Student Law Number 3 Year 2018 found 41 cases which included 18 writing errors in the names of positions and ranks, errors in writing names of institutions and 14 writing errors in the name of official documents, and 8 errors in the acronym of self-name consisting of a combination of the initial letters of each word and a combination of syllables. Furthermore, 11 oblique use errors in the writing of words or expressions in regional or foreign languages, 19 errors in the use of dots at the end of the sentence, and 20 errors in the use of semicolon punctuation at the end of the detail in the form of clauses. Key Words: Indonesian Language spelling errors, the text of the law students of the University      of Riau number 3 Year 2018.

Abstract

Abstract: This main objectives of study are to find out; 1) the students’reading motivation, 2) the students’ reading comprehension scores and 3) thecorrelation between reading motivation and reading comprehension ability.The population of the study is 101 students of the second year students, whilethe sample is 34 students are by using the cluster random samplin techniqu wasused in this study. The data were collected through 48 questions about (readingability) student comprehension (Reading Comprehension) and 20 statements(questionnaires) about reading motivation The result of the test was analyzedby using Pearson product moment though SPSS version 23.0. From theanalysis, it was found that the second year students’ of SMA PGRI Pekanbaruwere in the very bad level in their reading motivation, meanwhile the students’reading comprehension mean score 33.38 was in the poor level 38.32. meanscore. The correlation between both variables was in low correlation with thelevel was 0.16. However, building motivation and mindset about having a goodreading motivation is essential to be recommended because it is very useful todevelop students’ English skill and help them to face some tests which correlatewith students’ reading comprehension ability.Keywords: Correlation, Reading Motivation, Reading Comprehension Ability

Abstract: Based on observations that the researchers saw during training and smash matches conducted at the junior kandis club, rarely did the players make sharp smashes so the results were not satisfactory, many players did smash shots that did not cross the net and the ball came out (most), most players kandis junior just smashes hard without thinking about placing the ball. The place of this research was conducted on the Jalan Datuh Syah andar volleyball court RT. 002 RW. 006 Simp. Belutu, Kandis District, Siak Regency. As for the population in this study are all research subjects, all junior volleyball athletes club kandis junior district Kandis siak district, which consists of 12 people. From the results of the study There is a significant relationship between Leg Muscle Explosion Power with the results of smash accuracy, where the rtab at a significant level α (0.05) = 0.602, means r count (0.9487)> rtab (0.602), There is a significant relationship between muscle flexibility back with the results of smash accuracy, where rtab at a significant level α (0.05) = 0.602 means r count (0.949)> rtab (0.602). There is a significant relationship together between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the flexibility of the back muscles with the results of the smash accuracy on the Kandis Junior club players, where the rtab at the significant level α (0.05) = 0.602, means Rhitung (0.9761)> rtab (0.602). Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this reseasih was to determine the effect of eye coordination and shoulder arm strength on the passing capacity of the Man 1 Indragiri Hilir volleyball team. This is correlational research by comparing the results of measurements of two different variables to determine the level of correlation between these variables. The population in this reseasih was 6 students of class X, 6 students of class XI and 4 students of class XII. The data collection technique in this reseasih uses total sampling because it calculates a sample that is not too large, uses this correlation test and then tests the data using the normality test, product test of moment, correlation, variable normality test X₁ L₀maks (0.1194) <Ltabel (0.213), normality test for variables X₂ L₀maks (0.1556) <Label (0.213) and variable normality test Y L₀max (0.1414) <Label (0.213). In other words, normal data and research conclusions discuss where there is a correlation. The results of the correlation analysis state that there is a significant joint correlation between eye and hand coordination and arm and shoulder muscle power compared to the passivity of the voiball team in Indragiri Hilir Male 1 Students with r = (1,126)> rtable = (0,514). Key Words: Hand eye, strength of the shoulder arm.
