Abstract

Medical students, especially fresh students are vulnerable to get stress. Thestress level on each student is influenced by many factors, one of the factors isAdversity Quotient. A nice AQ is able to help somebody to face the stress. Thepurpose of this research is to discover the relationship between Adversity Quotientand the stress level on fresh student in Medical Faculty of Riau University. Researchdesign used in this research is analytic correlative and cross sectional approach.Total samples are 110 people, sampling technique is Total Sampling. Collecting dataused Adversity Quotient questionnaire based on theory of Paul G Stoltz and MedicalStudent Stressor Questionnaire (MSSQ). The result of research showed that 6 people(5.5%) who has mild stress level, 76 people (69,1%) who has medium stress level, 28people (25,5%) who has heavy stress level, and no one who are severe stress level.Analyzing data used Spearman correlation test and significance level p < 0,05, it isacquired that rate p = 0,00, rate r = -0,504 and rate r Square = 0,254. It means thereis significant negative connection on fresh student in Medical Faculty of RiauUniversity.Keyword: stress level, adversity quotient

Abstract

Social support is one of the factors affect learning achievement. Socialsupport are attention, love, and advice that will give positive effect toward thestudents. The purpose of this study was to determine correlation of level study skillwith learning achievement of Medical Faculty students of Riau University batch2011. The study design was analytic with cross sectional method . The subject of thisstudy was Medical Faculty students of Riau University batch 2011. This study samplewas taken by total sampling technique. This study used a questionnaire of socialsupport and social support Study Results Card ( SRC ) to measure learningachievement . Statistical test used for correlation of social support with learninugachievment was Spearman test. The statistially study results showed there was nosignificant correlation between social support learning achievement. The conclusionof this study was most of students have categorie high social support and most ofstudent (Grade Point Avarage) GPA category were very satisfying.Keywords: social support, learning achievement

Abstract

ABSTRACTToilet training is a technique for teaching children to defecate and urinate in the toilet. Mother’s knowledge and attitude plays an important role in the implementation of toilet training. This study was conducted to know the mother’s knowledge and attitude about the implementation of toilet training toward the children ages 1-3 years old in the area of Posyandu Kubang Jaya village Kampar District. This study was conducted in the area of Posyandu Kubang Jaya village Kampar District. The design research of this study is a descriptive cross-sectional approach. The sample of this study were the mothers of 1-3 years old children. The minimum number of samples required were 79 mothers. The data was taken from interviews and questionnaires. Based on the result of this study, it shows that the most knowledge, attitude and the implementation of toilet training is in the sufficient category (76%), neutral (60.8%) and most of mothers (79.8%) have conducted toilet training. Age <18 months is the most age where the toilet training is implemented (61.9%). The most mothers who have do the toilet training are the mothers in the age of 20-35 years old (68.4%), high school educated mothers (45.6%), housewife (69.6%) and mothers with children(≤2 child) 45.6%. Female babies (45.6%) are the most numerous who have conducted toilet training. Mothers who have conducted toilet training mostly have sufficient knowledge (60.8%) and neutral (49.4%).Keywords: knowledge, attitude, implementation, toilet training, toddler child

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims 1) To determine the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children aged 4-5 years prior to the application of playing Puzzle hours in PAUD Bunga Kiambang Sail Pekanbaru, 2) To determine the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children aged 4-5 years after the application of playing Puzzle hours in PAUD Bunga Kiambang Sail Pekanbaru, 3) To determine the effect of the application of playing Puzzle hours of the ability to know the symbol of the number of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Bunga Kiambang Sail Pekanbaru. This type of research used in this research is the experimental approach a study that sought influence of certain variables on other variables in strictly controlled conditions. The research sample is graders B consisting of 15 people, 7 boys and 8 girls. Collecting data using observation and documentation. Based on the survey results revealed that 1) The ability to recognize ability emblem number of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Bunga Kiambang Sail Pekanbaru before treatment is given in the form of playing Puzzle hours is low, 2) The ability to recognize ability emblem number of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Bunga Kiambang Sail Pekanbaru after treatment is given in the form of playing Puzzle hours have increased and relatively high, 3) Play Puzzle hours have a significant impact on the ability of the symbol of the ability to know the number of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Bunga Kiambang Sail Pekanbaru. It can be seen that there are differences related to increase the child's ability to recognize the emblem of numbers before and after treatment, 4) Play Puzzle hours have amounted to 37.78% influence on the ability of the symbol of the ability to know the number of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Bunga Kiambang Sail Pekanbaru.Keywords: Play Puzzle hours, Symbol Numbers

Abstract

Abstrack : The effect of Picture Book Tells Methods Speech Against Children Aged 5-6 Years On Tk Tadika Castle Pekanbaru. Language plays a very important in a child's life, because through language the child can communicate with the surrounding environment, and expressing ideas or thoughts to others. Initial survey that has been done in kindergarten Tadika Castle Pekanbaru, children are still often mispronouncing words such as the word "this pencil whom" the child said "this pencil anyone", said the "big ball" is pronounced "big ball", the majority children may not be able to tell what it is doing in the morning before going to school with simple, there are still many children who have not been able to ask the right example "bu broom where?" that should be "bu where his broom?" and many children that one can not distinguish the words "earlier, yesterday, past and present. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the ability to speak with a child aged 5-6 Picture Book Tells method in kindergarten Tadika Puri Pekanbaru. This study design using experimental research with one group pretest posttest design. Population and sample were 20 children in group B TK Tadika Castle Pekanbaru. The data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques. Data analysis techniques used t-test. Results of comparative analysis between the pretest to posttest ability to speak the child at significant level of 0.05 was obtained thitung -14.165 and sig value of 0.000, it can be concluded learning method proved Picture Book Tells significantly affect the child's ability to speak. Kindergarten teachers are expected to be able to apply the method Tadika Castle Picture Book Tells in improving children's ability to speak and the liveliness of the child in learning activities. Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine how much influence the application of methods play a role in the ability to speak in children aged 4-5 years in the District 09 kindergarten Aisyiyah Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. The population and sample of this research is children aged 4-5 years amounted to 12 children. Data collection techniques were used that observation. The data analysis technique used in this study is Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results were obtained then can researchers conclude that there is a difference in the child's speech is significant between before and after the application of methods play a role. So it means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means no difference before and after treatment.Keywords: speech, methods play a role

Abstract

Abstract : The research was aimed to knew the described work ethic educators Kindergarten Cerenti District in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The population and sample research was totally 34 educators Kindergarten Cerenti District in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The technique of collecting data used questioners Likert scale and use correlation analyzing Pearson Product Moment. Technique analyze data is use trial scale and analyze statistic method by SPSS Program for Windows 17 Ver. Based on research value is use correlation Analyzing Pearson Product Moment to be able to knew confidence 744 score by 60,7% is enough category, team work 789 By 57,9 % is enough category, hard work 716 by 65,7% is well category, seriousness indicators 407 by 59,8% is enough category. Overall the work ethnic of educator Kindergarten got 61,0% percentage in both category is 61%-80%.Key Words : Word Ethic, Educators

Abstract

Absract: the study aimes to identifying how the level of teachers’ education and the communication on learning in the kindergarten of ujung batu in rokan hulu district. This study using the population of all of the teachers in kindergarter of ujung batu in rokan hulu district, the number of 40 people. This study used the sample of saturated. It means all of the population as a sample techniques of collecting data used is questionnaires. Techniques of data analysis using a technique konferensial and analysis, correlation chi square. The results of this study showed that, there is no connection between the levels of teachers’ education and the communication on learning. This is in view of Chihitung < Chitable or 16.41% < 40.113%.Keywords: level of teachers’ education, communication on learning

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of field observations to the speech students is still low and teachers are still use learning methods that dominate and not varied. So that learning needs to be given of imaginative play. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of imaginative play to the speech children aged 4-5 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. The sample used in this study 15 children. The data collection techniques were used that observation. Research hypothesis is that there is a significant effect on students ability to speak after applying imaginative play. It can be seen from the analysis of data obtained t = 11.42 and p = 0.000. Because p &lt;0.05 it can be concluded that there are differences in the ability to speak protégé significant after applying imaginative play in learning. So it means that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means there is a very significant difference between before and after the experiment to applying imaginative play. The hypothesis test can be seen hitung =11,420 &gt; t tabel = 1,761. So it means that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It can be known from the value of P=45,74. So it means the influence of imaginative play to speech intelligence of children ages 4-5 years is as big as 45,74%.Keyword : Speech Intelligence, Imaginative.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of using a mind mapping board the ability to know the form geometry in children aged 4-5 years at kindergarten Pertiwi Pekanbaru city. The population in this research is grade B3 in kindergarten Pertiwi of as many as 21 children and the sample on this research as many as 21 children. The method used pre-experimental with the design one group pre test post design of experiments conducted in one group without the comparison group. This type of instrument used in this study is to use the observation and dokomentasi to take note of the activities of what’s happened in the treatment given, the equipment in use is the camera. Data was analyzed using statistical techniques t-test with SPSS for Windows Release 17.0. Based on the result of the hypothesis that there of the effect of mind mapping board of the ability to know the form geometry in children aged 4-5 years at kindergarten pertiwi pekanbaru city. Obtain value t count of 9,661 with significance 0.000. T table values obtained with df 19 at significance level of 5% (two-tailed) of 2.093. Thus known t count (9.661)> t table (2.093) or significance (0.000) <5% (0.05). It has been suggested that there is a difference in the results between the pretest and posttest significant. It is known that the result of higher than pretest posttest which can be seen from the descriptive statistical variable. The effect of mind mapping board of the ability to know the form geometry in children aged 4-5 years at kindergarten pertiwi Pekanbaru city as much as 26,25%..Key Words: The Ability To Know The Form Geometry, Mind Mapping Board.
