Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to increase student achievement on the subjectreaction rates in class XI SMAN 2 Siak Hulu. This research is a kind of experimentresearch with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMAN 2 SiakHulu The samples of this research were the students of class XI MIA 3 as theexperimental class and students of class XI MIA 5 as the control class. Experimentalclass is a class that is applied model of cooperative learning type round table, while thecontrol class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis ofdata obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 2,64> 1,67, means that the application of modelcooperative learning type round table can improve student achievement on the subjectof reaction rates in class XI MIA SMAN 2 Siak Hulu, increase learning of 10,41%.Keywords: Cooperative Learning type Round Table, Student Achievement.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan deiksis tempat, deiksis waktu dan deiksis sosialapa sajakah yang terdapat dalam kumpulan ceritarakyat Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif metode deskriptif. Objek penelitian iniberupa kata-kata yang ditemukan dari dialog yang berhubungan dengan deiksis yaitu deiksis waktu, deiksis tempat, dan deiksis sosial yang terdapat dalam kumpulan ceritarakyat Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian berupa jenis deiksis tempat, jenis deiksis waktu, dan jenis deiksis wacana yang terdapat dalam kumpulan ceritarakyat Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui bahwa jenis deiksis tempat yaitu di sana, ke sana, di sini, sini, di situ, ini dan itu. Jenis deiksis waktu yaitu sekarang, dulu dan tadi, nanti, datang dan ini.Dan jenis deiksis sosial yaitu Hamba, BagindaRaja, TuanHamba, Datuk, Tuan, dan Beta. Kata Kunci: Deiksis, Tempat, Waktu, Sosial, Cerita Rakyat, Indragiri Hilir

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini membahas tentang kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas VII SMPN 23 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas VII SMPN 23 Pekanbaru.Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tes yaitu teknik tes menulis cerpen. Cara mengukur tingkat kemampuan siswa yaitu dengan metode analisis data dengan cara memberi nilai pada aspek judul, orientasi, komplikasi, dan resolusi pada cerpen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan aspek tingkat kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas VII SMPN 23 Pekanbaru tergolong sedang dengan rerata 71,84. Jika dikategorikan maka kemampuan menulis cerpen pada aspek menentukan judul tergolong tinggi dengan rerata 84,84. Kemampuan menulis orientasi tergolong tinggi dengan rerata 84,09. Kemampuan menulis komplikasi tergolong sedang dengan rerata 79,16, dan kemampuan menulis resolusi tergolong sedang dengan rerata 68,93. Abstract

Abstract: Teachers tend to increase the students’ ability by appliying techniques in teaching and learning process. One of them is as the topic of this article. This article is based on a research report about using KWL technique to increase the students’ ability in comprehending narrative texts. The purpose of this research is to find out whether or not using KWL technique could increase students’ ability in comprehending narrative texts and factors that could increase the ability. Classroom action research was designed in two cycles at XI IPS 2 of SMA N 5 Pekanbaru as the participant of this study. The data were collected through tests and observation sheets. This research found that KWL technique could increase the students’ ability in comprehending narrative texts. The average score of the data increased from 62,3 in pre-test, 72,3 in post-test I, and 80,3 in post-test II. It is in line with the students’ observation sheets in which there were also improvements in the students’ activeness during the teaching and learning process. The data showed that the average score of students’ activeness in cycle I was 58,5% and increased in cycle 2 to 87,5%. Based on the writer’s observation, the improvement of the students were due to some factors dealing with the KWL technique. They were using chart, leading the students to think independently, and making the students became more active. This study suggests that the students can apply this tekhnique continuously in learning reading subject. Moreover, the teacher should be able to manage the time, so the teaching and learning process will be going effectively. In addition, it is expected that other researcher will conduct this technique in other genre of the texts.Key words: KWL technique, reading ability, narrative texts

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitain ini membahas tentang Gaya Bahasa dalam Teks Syair Ikan Terubuk dan membahas mengenai metafora, personifikasi, hiperbola, litotes dan persamaan dalam teks Syair Ikan Terubuk. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membahas makna yang ada dalam gaya bahasa yang ditemukan pada teks syair. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikangaya bahasa apa saja yang digunakan dalam teks Syair Ikan terubuk. Hasil penelitian berupa klasifikasi gaya bahasa yang ditemukan dalam teks Syair Ikan Terubuk. Hasil penelitian ini juga sebagai bentuk pendokumentasian gaya bahasa yang ada dalam Teks Syair Ikan Terubuk. Kata Kunci: Gaya Bahasa, Syair Ikan Terubuk

Abstract

ABSRACT : The research was motivated by the values contained in Pancasila Lengger in District Seikijang Kingdom, which in the arts there Lengger solidarity and strengthen friendship society, as a means of education and teaching to the community.. Formulation of the problem in this research is Is there Pancasila values contained in Lengger Bandar Seikijang Regency Pelalawan District Seikijang . This study aims to analyze whether there Pancasila values contained in Lengger Regency Pelalawan District Seikijang. Associated with the cultural foundation of Pancasila Notonegoro (1991) argues that values are strung or into a system that, as with the basic values of Pancasila, usually sourced from cultural and historical experiences of a people who created the ideological it. This research the author carried on in Kecamatan Bandar Seikijang Kab. Pelalawan lasts of month of in December 2014 until is completed research. Population in this research is the entire society Bandar Seikijang who domiciled in Kecamatan Bandar Seikijang who numbered 16,784 person. The sampling technique is Purposive Sampling, the sample in this study was 377 X 20%. So the sample size in this study as many as 75 people. Data collection techniques used were in the form of observation techniques, interviewing techniques, technical documentation, technical and engineering literature study questionnaire. In analyzing the data using descriptive qualitative method. The hypothesis in this study is There Pancasila values in Lengger in District Seikijang Regency Pelalawan. These results indicate that There Pancasila values in Lengger in District Seikijang Regency Pelalawan. with a percentage of 59.6% and included into the benchmark categorized as "Yes" is the benchmark of 50.01% -100%. So, the hypothesis : There Pancasila values in Lengger in District Seikijang Regency Pelalawan. is received.Keywords: Pancasila values, Lengger

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi mengenai pelanggaran prinsip kerjasama yang terdapat dalam novel Totto-chan karya Tetsuko Kuroyanagi. Prinsip kerjasama dalam percakapan terdiri atas maksim kuantitas, maksim kualitas, maksim relavansi, dan maksim cara. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membahas tentang dampak yang terjadi karena adanya pelanggaran prinsip kerjasama dalam percakapan antar tokoh dalam novel. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian berupa klasifikasi pelanggaran prinsip kerjasama dan dampaknya dalam novel Totto-chan karya Tetsuko Kuroyanagi. Hasil penelitian pelanggaran prinsip kerjasama dan dampaknya dalam novel Totto-chan karya Tetsuko Kuroyanagi ini merupakan suatu bentuk pendokumentasian terhadap pelanggaran prinsip kerjasama yang terdapat dalam Novel. Kata kunci: Prinsip kerjasama, pelanggaran prinsip kerjasama, dan damapak pelanggaran prinsip kerjasama.

Abstract

Abstract: Vital capacity of lung is a physiological condition which is related to the ability of respiration. In its relation to the physical health improving, vital capacity of lung is a process that involves the mechanism of heart, blood vessels, and blood. The objective of respiration is to deliver O2 from the air to the body cells and to exhaust CO2 which is produced within the process. The objective of this research is to discover the relationship between vital capacity of lung with the level of physical health of the grade VIII students of SMPN 12 Pekanbaru. The data which is collected within this research is primary data; the primary data is obtained from the test of physical health that is conducted to 20 students who have been selected as the samples whereas the secondary data is obtained from the office management employees of SMPN 12. To discover the physical health proportion between the students from acceleration class and the students from the regular class of SMPN 12, the data is analyzed by using the technique of Product Moment Correlation. The result of this research is vital capacity of lung has an important relationship with the level of physical health. This result could be seen from the obtained result   rhit (0.622) > rtab (α = 0.05) = 0.456. On the other hand, the t distribution test is applied in order to determine the test significance. The obtained result of the test is thitung (3.369) > ttabel (1.734). Thus, Ho is denied and Ha is accepted. In this light, it could be concluded that there is a significant relationship between free variable and bound variable. In other words, there is a significant relationship between vital capacity of lung (x) with the level of physical health (y). ABSTRAK: Masalah dalam penelitian ini, bahwa kelincahan Pada Pemain Sepakbola SSB Taruna Mandiri Pekanbaru kurang maksimal. Hal ini di duga disebabkan oleh kurang pada gerak secara cepat juga kurang cepat dalam melakukan perubahan posisi tubuh untuk rnelakukan gerakan lain yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh latihan Agility games terhadap kelincahan Pada Pemain Sepakbola SSB Taruna Mandiri Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu untuk melihat pengaruh dari bentuk latihan.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet yang berjumlah 18 orang.Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan total sampling, artinya di mana yang dijadikan sampel adalah seluruh populasi maka sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 18 orang. Instrument dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes shutle run untuk melihat kelincahan. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Terdapat pengaruh latihan Agility games terhadap kelincahan Pada Pemain Sepakbola SSB Taruna Mandiri Pekanbaru terbukti dengan thitung 3.668> ttabel 1.740 pada α=0,05. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru. Form of research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA1 as an experiment class and XI IPA2 as a control class randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given to applied question card media while the control class was not. Data analysis technique is used t-test. Based on the results of final processing data use t-test formula obtained  tcount>ttable is  3,06>1,67, it means that the applying of question card media can improve student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement in experiment class was high category with a score gain normalized is 0,73. Keywords : Question card media, Learning achievement
