Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to find out whether there is a significant effect of concept mapping on the students’ ability of SMPN 14 Pekanbaru in writing descriptive texts. This is a pre-experimental research with one group pre-test post-test design. In conducting this research, a single group was selected to be a sample by using cluster random sampling. There were 36 students as the sample. A writing test was used both in pre and post-test. In order to know the difference between pre-test and post-test and to analyze the hypotheses, t-test formula was used. After analyzing the data, it was found that t-test score was 7.779 while t-table score in significance level 5% df= 34 was 2.032. Since t-test was higher than t-table, it can be concluded that alternative hypothesis was accepted. It can be further understood that “there is a significant effect of concept mapping on the students’ ability of SMPN 14 Pekanbaru in writing descriptive texts”. Based on the research findings, it is suggested that concept mapping can help the students to improve their writing ability especially in writing descriptive text.Key Words: Effect, Concept Mapping, Writing Ability, Descriptive Text

Abstract

Abstract: This research is titled moral values in the novel megalomania by Marhalim zaini. This study aims to describe the moral values contained in the novel megalomania Marhalim zaini. The method used is descriptive method of analysis. This research date in the form of date in the form or word, phrases in sentencesor events that describe the moral value. Collection techniques by documenting and studying books that can assist in collecting date related to the problem. In the megalomania novel there are 7 noble moral values and 6 disgraceful moral values. The date analyzed by 22 date of good character.Keywords: Moral Values, Novel Megalomania.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the development of teacher teaching condition at this time is quite show good achievement and quality. The quality of teaching of female teachers is no less good compared to male teachers. The problem formulation in this research is whether there is a difference of teaching professionalism between male and female teacher in SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru? This study aims to determine the difference between teaching professionalism between male and female teachers in SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. The place of research conducted in SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. The sample of this research is 13 male teachers and 13 female teachers as comparison in SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. Technique of collecting data is done by using questionnaire and observation. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The results of the questionnaire showed that the professionalism of teaching male teachers is high with the percentage of 74.2 and the professionalism of teaching female teachers is high with percentage of 68%. Data were analyzed using homogeneity test and hypothesis test. Based on homogeneity test results obtained a statistical value of 0,000 with significant, because significant 1.909> 0.05 it can be seen that the homogeneity data. While the hypothesis test with different test analysis tools 2 separate samples are homogeneous showed obtained t_hitung equal to 1.839 with df 24 while t_tabel 1.71. Thus this proves there is a difference in teaching professionalism between male and female teacher in SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. Thus t_count> t_table or 1,839> 1.71. So that sounds Ho rejected and that Ha sounds accepted, so the hypothesis in this study is accepted. Keywords: Professionalism, Male Teacher, Female Teacher

Abstract

Abstract : This Research aimed to develop a valid computer based interactivelearning media to help studentslearn the subject of data presentation. This researchuses development modelof Borg and Gall modified by Sugiyono, the following stagesare: (1) potential and problem; (2) collect information; (3) product design; (4) designvalidation; (5) design revision; (6) product testing; (7) product revision; (8) usagetesting; and (9) product revision. At the stage of potential and problem, researchermade a needs analysis of observation and interviews with Mathematics teacher andstudents. Then, researcher collected the informations by conducting literature studies.Product design is through two stages, by making paper based design and then computerbased design that used Microsoft Power Point. The learning media is validated by threevalidators used validation instrument and obtained an average score of 3,55 (veryvalid). Then the product revised based on the input from validators. The revision oflearning media was tested by questionnaire technique using student responsequestionnaire. The testing was conducted through two stages,which are small groupconsist of six students of grade VII and a large group consist of 28 students class ofVII.6 MTs Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The product of computer-based interactive learningmedia is already practiced with an average of 96,03% (very practice)in a small testgroup and 97,62% (very practice) in the large group test. Then the product revisedaccording to the student's suggestion on questionnaire. Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to know the differences of learning motivation that learned through talking stick model of learning and the students that learned through lecture. This research uses quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted in SDN 188 Pekanbaru in academic year 2017/2018 with grade III A as control class and grade III C as experiment class. The data for learning motivation were gathered by using questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using Microsoft Excel with t-test analyzed (independent t-test). The results showed is in pretest obtained was average of experimental class was 70.48 and control class was 70.32 the t-test obtained was =tcount = 2.706 > ttabel = 2.000. and in the posttest there are differences in learning motivation students that learned through talking stick model and students that learned through lecture methods. The average of experimental class was 75.61 and control class was 70.74 the t-test obtained was =tcount = 2.706 > ttabel = 2.000.Key Word: Talking Stick, learning motivation

Abstract: Latar of behind this research is lowering nya of result of learning IPA of student of class of Athwart IV MI Hubbul Wathan Jungle. While Complete Criterion value Minimize the ( KKM) IPA is 70. Among/Between student amounting to 20 people only 5 one who reach the KKM. This Research represent the Research of Class Action ( PTK) which aim to to increase result of learning IPA of student of class of Athwart IV MI Hubbul Wathan Jungle by applying model the study of co-operative of type of Two Stay Two Stray ( TSTS). Instrument of data collecting of at this sikripsi is activity sheet learn and student and also result of learning. This Sikripsi present the data of result of learning obtained from flattening- flatten the result learn before action 59,50 mounting 13,75 becoming 73,25 at cycle 1. At cycle II mount to become 11 with the mean 84,25. Activity learn at cycle 1 first meeting obtain;get the percentage 57,50% with the category enough, at second meeting experience of the improvement with the percentage 65% good category, and hereinafter at first cycle II meeting of activity learn also experience of the improvement with the percentage 75% good category. And at second cycle II meeting mount again with the percentage 90% with the category very good. Student activity of at cycle 1 first meeting obtain;get the percentage 55% with the category enough. At meeting two experiencing of improvement 57,50% with the category enough. At this cycle is student have started to comprehend the study activity by applying model the study of co-operative of type TSTS marked with the student activity of at first cycle II meeting mount with the percentage 77,50% with the category of baik.Pada meeting two cycle ii experience of the make-up of percentage 85% with the category very good. Abstract: The research to have as background that any have a number of communities were apathetic to the election of the mayor and campaign to further high light the image of the candidates then talked about their performances and programs of pair candidate. They are constructive the image more, by doing activity that unusual carried out before they running as mayor. So, there are still many people who don’t knowing about their work programs. The formulation of this research is “What Are the Factors Influence the Behavior of Voters towards Mayoral Election In 2015 At Solok, West Sumatera”. The objective of this research is to know the factors of the voters’ behavior towards mayor election in 2015 at Solok, West Sumatera. Based on the result of this research, it show that factors that influence the behavior of voters towards mayoral election in 2015 at Solok, West Sumatera is vision, Mission, Religion of Muslim, intellectual ability, good attitude and the behavior, breakthrough that ever done, charismatic cases of legal that befall, their background life , their promises during they did campaign, their experienced about political, their job background, their popularity, background of their political parties, their age, their property assets, banners, how their parties do work to persuade the communities, their nota bane, and their male gender.Keyword: Analysis, Behavior of Voters

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to determine and prove the correlation between explosive power of the leg muscle and eye and foot coordination with the ability to accurately shoot football at the Rumbai Pratama SSB team. This type of research conducted in this research is to use a correlational research design. A sample of 22 people from the results of hypothesis research with saturated sampling techniques or sampling points. The results obtained did not correlate leg muscle strength with the accuracy of shooting in football matches in the Rumbai Pratama SSB Team, where the rcount (0.311) <of the rtable (0.433) at α = 0.05. But the pattern of the results of the second hypothesis there is a link between eye and foot coordination with the accuracy of shooting in football on the Rumbai Pratama SSB team, where the acquisition of rcount (0.862)> of the acquisition of rtable (0.433) at α = 0.05. In the third hypothesis there is a joint correlation between Leg Muscle Explosion Power and eye and foot coordination with the accuracy of shooting in football matches on the Rumbai Pratama SSB Team namely the acquisition of rhitung (0.865)> of the acquisition of rtable (0.433) on α = 0.05.Key Words: Explosive Power Of Leg Muscles, Eye And Foot Coordination, Shooting, Football

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research aims to know about the ability level of the second year students of SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in comprehending texts and also to know which aspects of reading is the students’ lowest and highest score in comprehending texts. The population of this research was the second year students of SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru that consists of 11 classes, with total 425 students. The sample of this research was five classes, they are X1 Accounting 1, XI Administration Office 1, XI Marketing 1, XI IT 1 and XI Tourism, with total 194 students. The instrument of this research was reading comprehension test with using multiple choice type which consisted 32 questions. There were eight aspects of reading tested: finding factual information, main idea, meaning of certain words, identifying inferences, references, generic structure, social function and language feature. From the results of the test, it was concluded that the average score of students’ ability in reading was 61.09 which was categorized as “good” level. The research finding also shows that students’ lowest score among the eight aspects was in terms of identifying inferences with the average score 48.71, where the highest score was in terms of factual information with the average score 79,25.Keywords: descriptive research, texts, students’ reading ability

Abstract

Abstract :This study in the background backs by low learning outcomes PKn students, with an average grade 62.78. Among students who were 18 people only 5 students who completed KKM with classical completeness reach 27.78%. PQ4R learning model is the learning that is used to help students remember what they learn and can help the learning process in classes conducted by the activities reading books. PQ4R a model of excellence is to help students whose power is weak memory to memorize the concepts of learning, helping students to improve their skills and processes asked to consume knowledge. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) conducted aims to improve learning outcomes PKn fourth grade students of SDN 25 Desa Pakning-Bukit Batu subdistrict Origin by applying the learning model PQ4R (Preview, Question, read, reflect, Recite, review). Data collection instruments in this thesis is the teacher and student activity sheets and the results of this belajar.Skripsi serving an increasing number of students who reach the KKM of 5 people (27.78%) on the base score to 12 people (66.67%) in the first cycle and increased to 16 people (88.89%) in the second cycle. This means that the sample classes have been completed in the classical. At the first meeting of the first cycle of teacher activity percentage was 50% 66.67% .Sedangkan second meeting of the second cycle of the first meeting with the percentage of 79.17% and the second meeting increased to 91.67%. While the student activity also increased that the first meeting of the first cycle of the percentage of student activity is 50%, 61.12% second meeting, the first meeting of the second cycle of 72.23% and 83.34% second meeting. Improving student learning outcomes individually from a base score until the second cycle increased, where the average base score of student learning outcomes 62.78 in the first cycle increased to 64.73 with an increase of 1.95. In the second cycle of the average student learning outcomes for 78,34dengan increase of 13.61. Improving student learning outcomes in the classical style on the base score is 27.78% in the first cycle increased to 66.67 increased 38.89% and in the second cycle increased to 88.89 an increase of 22.22%. After analyzing the research data, the application of the model PQ4R can improve learning outcomes PKn class IV SDN 25 Pakning Origin village.Keywords : PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review), the result of studying Civics
