Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is the low power capacity to pass the chest pass, especially in the explosive power of the arm and shoulder muscles, although they have been taught a technique that is quite good, but when They do chest passes, it still needs to be addressed. To solve this problem, the author offers a form of exercise that increases power, especially in the explosive power of the arm and shoulder muscles, that is, drugs for a ball pass in the chest. The title proposed in this study is "The effect of the medicine ball chest pass exercise on the muscular power of the arm and shoulder in the men's basketball game in SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru" so that in the future these students can make a pass Very passive chest, and the most important thing after this research is to know if there is an increase in the ability to pass the chest, especially in the explosive power of the muscles of the arms and shoulders. The form of this research is (using a group pretest-posttest design approach) with an extracurricular basketball population of 10 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru students. The instrument used in this study was to use a two-handed medicine ball to put a muscle power test or to throw a medicine ball that aims to determine the effect of a medicine ball chest pass exercise on arm muscle power and the shoulder. After that, the data is statistically processed, to test normality using the lilifours test at a significant level of 0.05α. The hypothesis is that there is an effect of Medicine Ball Chest Pass training on Arm and Shoulder Muscle Power in the Male Basketball Game at SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Based on the analysis of the normality test, it showed a figure of 38,75 and then compared with the value of the table at a significant level of 0.05 degrees of freedom N - 1 (9) it turned out to show the number 1,833, this shows that the value of tcount (38,75)> ttable (1,833), then it can be concluded that the hypothesis that there is influence. Medicine ball chest pass training on arm and shoulder muscle power in male SMP Negeri 8 Pekanabaru City students who participated in extracurricular basketball activities.Key Words: Medicine Ball Chest Pass Exercise, Arm Muscle Power, Shoulder

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the novel Pada Senja yang Membawamu Pergi by Boy Candra is a sociological research of literature with an approach to genetic structuralism. The reason for the novel Pada Senja yang Membawamu Pergi by Boy Candra into research is because: first, the novel was written by a reputable writer from Sumatra, an author who dared to pave the way to describe an event based on the reality of events occurring in the community into his work. This novel has a social background to the events experienced by the author so that it is relevant when examined with genetic structuralism theory which conditions the birth of the author's views in the novel At Dusk that Takes You Away by Boy Candra. Abstract: This research is motivated by the low motivation of learning PPKnstudents at SMPN 21 Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem of this research are:(1) Are there differences in learning motivation of men and women with the Articulationmodel in SMPN 21 Pekanbaru, (2) Are there differences in learning motivation of menand women with conventional models in SMPN 21 Pekanbaru, (3 ) Is there a differencebetween learning motivation that is taught using Articulation and Conventional models,(4) Is There a Significant Effect on the Use of Articulation Learning Models onLearning Motivation of men and women. The study aims to determine the effect of theArticulation Learning Model on Student Learning Motivation at PPPN 21 Pekanbaru.The study was conducted at SMPN 21 Pekanbaru in February 2020. This research wasan experimental quantitative descriptive study. With a population of eighth gradestudents in Pekanbaru 21 Junior High School and Samples using the Random Samplingtechnique, the sample is students of class VIII 7 (experimental class) and class VIII 6(control class) which is tested for homogeneity. Based on the research results, theformulation of the problem (1) there are differences in learning motivation of men andwomen using the Articulation Learning model (2) there are differences in learningmotivation of conventional methods (3) there is a difference between the articulationand conventional models and (4) there is a significant influence. Then the hypothesisthat says there is an influence of the use of the articulation learning model on thelearning motivation of students in class VIII in SMP 21 Pekanbaru, "ACCEPTED".Key Words: Articulation, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the concentration of rice husk charcoal and cow manure on the growth of Dayak onions (Eleutherine americana Merr.) And produce Student Worksheets for class XII SMA. This research was conducted in Jayapura Village, Siak Regency, in October-December 2019. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 treatments using a combination of rice husk charcoal and cow manure and each treatment was repeated as much 3 times. The parameters of this study were leaf length, number of leaves, number of tillers, leaf wet weight, and tuber wet weight. The design of LKPD development refers to the stages of the Problem Based Learning model which are simplified into the Analyze and Design stages. The results showed that the combination of rice husk charcoal and cow manure can increase the growth of Dayak onions significantly affected at a dose of 90 gr/tan (S2K2) with the best treatment on each parameter observed. The results obtained will be used as a development material for the growth and development of Class XII SMA in KD 3.1 and 4.1. Abstract: The formulation of the problem in this study is "how to implement character education in the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Social Care Institution of Children's Social Services in Riau Province. In accordance with the problem formulation the purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of character education in the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Childcare Social Institution of Riau Provincial Social Service The type of research is descriptive naturalistic with a qualitative approach that aims to find out the implementation of character education in the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Social Service Childcare Center of Riau Provincial Social Service Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation, while data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display and data verification, as well as data validity techniques using crebility tests, transferability testing, dependability testing and confirmability testing. sound and data ventilation. This study consists of one variable implementation of character education with the indicators of this study are first (1) input, (2) instrumental input. The second implementation is in the form of (1) character education process. The three evaluations are (1) Output (2) Outcome. The subjects of this study were 5 people consisting of 2 core informants, 2 control informants and 1 observer informant. The results of the study were based on indicators, sub-indicators, dimensions on the Implementation of Character Education in the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Social Care Institution of the Children's Social Service Office of the Riau Province. Based on the data, the researcher made interview guidelines for 48 question items divided into 3indicator developed into 5 sub indicators and 16 dimensions namely planning, implementation and evaluation.Keywords: Implementation, Character Education

Abstract: The problem in this study is error service that do not pass through the net, smash out the field, the bait is not good, the reception of the first ball more failed than the opponent's service, the lack of mastery of soccer techniques, less in acceptance of the first ball, body position often lose balance when feeding the ball. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a balance relationship with soccer technique skills in the game sepak takraw at student in extracurricular in SMAN 01 District rangsang District kepulauan meranti. The population in this student ekskul games sepak takraw which amounted to 12 people. A sampling technique was the overall population total sample, Instrument performed research is a balance test stork balance stand test which aims to measure the level of balance in a person performing movement.and test soccer skills capabilities aimed at knowing how much ability in performing soccer techniques from the sample used. After that, the data was analyzed to test for normality test at significant level a0,05 lilifors. Based on the research results, it can be concluded as follows.. Abstract

Abstract: Extracurricular activities that have been held by the school is the oneof media that potential for character development and improving the academic qualityof students. Paskibra (flag raisers) and scout are the school’s extracurricular that haveactivity to train student’s characters, for example is line of march and flag raising inthe school that can grow character of nationalism in students. Paskibra and scoutactivities can build character of nationalism, like the leadership attitude of students,bravery, responsibility, and love the country. The aim of this research is to know thedifferences in the character of nationalism between students who join the paskibraextracurricular with scout extracurricular in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. Subject for thisresearch is members of paskibra and members of scout in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru.Sample taken in this research were 40 people, with 20 members of paskibra and 20members of scout. Method that used for collect the data is methods of observation,interview, and documentation. To analyze the data researcher used quantitativedescriptive techniques with statiscal test. The result of test that receive from percentagecalculation of respondents showed that character of nationalism level of students whojoined paskibra extracurricular in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru is very high, proved byscore results is 81%. While the character of nationalism of student who joined scoutextracurricular in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru is very high too, proved by score results is83,58%. From the result of T-test base on SPSS version 21 that there is no difference incharacter of nationalism between student who joined paskibra extracurricular withscout extracurricular, proved by sig > 5% (0,126 > 0,05) and t arithmetic -0,930smaller than t table 2,0243.Key words: Character of Nationalism, Paskibra Extracurricular, Scout Extracurricular

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to find out the effect of Small Group Discusstion Technique on the Ability of the Second Year Students of SMP N 5 Kerinci Kanan in Comprehending Report Texts. There were 98 population and only 32 students as the sample through cluster random sampling technique, instead cluster random sampling allows the writer to collect data into small, more effective groups. The test was carried out as pre-test. The treatment was applied by using small group discussion in reading report text and post-test. In order to know the difference between pre-test and post-test, and to test the hypothesis, t-test formula was used. After analyzing the data, it was found that t-test score was 21.326 which t-table score in significance level df=32 was 0.349. Since t-test was higher than t-table, it can be concluded that alternative hypothesis was accepted. In other word, it can be restated that small group discussion can help students to improve their reading ability especially in report text. The implication of the finding is that the students should maximize the practice of small group discussion.Key Words: Effect, Small Group Discussion, Report Text

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the structure community of soil surface insect in palm oil plantation in the village of Kepenuhan Tengah Of Rokan Hulu Regency and to produce a design learning resources in the form of pocket books. The study was conducted at the oil palm plantation in the village of Kepenuhan Tengah Of Rokan Hulu Regency and at the Biology Education Laboratory of the Teaching and Education Faculty of the University of Riau in August 2019 to September 2019. This research uses survey method. The location was chosen based on purposive sampling by considering the age factor of oil palm plantations. The parameters in this research are diversity index (H'), dominance index (C), importance index (INP), species composition, supporting parameters include soil temperature, soil moisture, and soil pH. The results obtained by the structure of land surface insect communities was found to have a moderate the level of diversity in the range 1.51-2.25. The dominance index of soil surface insects is relatively low, ranging from 0.12 to 0.31. The highest importance index of the four stations was found at station IV, Anoplolepis gracilipes species with INP 61.21%. The composition of soil surface insects was found 5 orders, 10 families and 14 species with the highest proportion is Hymenoptera which is equal to 52.53%. The results of the study have been made as a source of learning biology in the form of a Class X high school pocketbook on Ecosystem Materials.Key Words: Composition Pocket Book, Soil Surface Insects, The Structure Community

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a descriptive-quantitative research design which is aimed at investigating the vocabulary size of International Relations students of Social and Political Science Faculty at University of Riau. The subjects of this study were the sixth-semester students majoring in International Relations of Social and Political Science Faculty at University of Riau. 96 students employed in this study were given the Vocabulary Size Test created by Nation I. S. P. and Beglar D. in 2007. The findings of this study revealed that the student knew about 7,400 word families. This result showed that the participants had good vocabulary mastery. Based on Nation (2006) the mean score of students of International Relations of Social and Political Science Faculty at University of Riau in sixth semester were able to read authentic materials which contains many vocabularies.Key Words: Vocabulary, Vocabulary Size Test, International Relations
