Abstract

Abstract: The formulation of the problem in this study is How high is student participation in evaluating the leadership training program of BEM FKIP UNRI ?. This research produces data that can determine the level of student participation in evaluating the leadership training program of BEM FKIP UNRI. The benefits of this research include being able to assist and facilitate action taking, especially in improving the evaluation of the BEM FKIP UNRI leadership training program. This research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Researchers determine the sample using a simple random sampling technique (simple random sampling). Researchers determined a sample of 68 people for research in BEM FKIP UNRI students. This sample was taken according to Sugiyono's table with an error rate of 10% and 20 people for the trial. Retrieval of data in research using a questionnaire. The results of the data analysis showed that the participation of students in evaluating the leadership training program of BEM FKIP UNRI was relatively high. Based on the mean value for the student participation variable in evaluating the leadership training program of BEM FKIP UNRI, it is classified as high with Mean 3.97 and SD 0.8. The interpretation obtained for each indicator of student participation in evaluating the leadership training program of BEM FKIP UNRI is relatively high. So, the most dominant of these 5 indicators is support with a mean number of 4.06 with SD 0.79. So it can be interpreted as a member of BEM FKIP UNRI students who are in a position that is suitable with their abilities when training, although it is not yet optimal. Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the beliefs of the ancestors of Rumbai Jaya Village people who are hereditary that is still believing in the existence of bad dates and full of bad luck (disadvantaged), namely dating in the month of Suro so that many people avoid the month of Suro when they will implement the month of Suro major events including weddings. This research formulated the problem in "What is the Community's Perception of the Suto Month and the Prohibition of Marriage in Suro Month in Javanese Customs in Rumbai Jaya Village, Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency". The purpose of this study was to determine "Community Perception of Suro Month and Marriage Prohibition in Suro Month in Javanese Customs in Rumbai Jaya Village, Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency". The method in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and questionnaires. Determination of the research sample through a sampling area (Sampling area), namely sampling by region, 30 people consisting of 5 informants, namely elders/village elders and 25 respondents, namely predetermined communities. The results of this study are: First, people's perceptions about the month of Suro is a sacred month because in this month many people do tirakat or some kind of ritual for various purposes, suro month is the new year for the Javanese tribe which coincides with the month of Muharram. secondly, people's perception of marriage in the month of suro is that marriage in the month of Suro is prohibited and may not be carried out, so the conclusion is that the community still adheres to ancient traditions and beliefs about the prohibition of marriage in the month of Suro.Keywords: Community Perception, Prohibition of Marriage Suro Month

Abstract

Abstract: Problem formulation in this research is how is the process of care services for children in Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage in Kampar area ?. This study aims to explore the process of caring for children in the Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage in the Kampar area. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The informant selection technique in this study uses a purposive sampling technique. The informants in this study are people who are involved and have the information needed in the study, because the informants are people who are more knowledgeable about the issues to be studied. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation, and triangulation of child care services at the Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage in the Kampar area. This study consists of one variable, namely the indicators (1) self-esteem, (2) meeting expectations, (3) improvement, (4) foresight, (5) improvement, (6) attention, (7) empowerment. The subjects of this study were 3 people consisting of 1 core informant and 2 control informants. From the results of research conducted, it can be concluded that: the care service process that appears there are only 5 aspects, while 2 aspects do not appear because it is not found in the service process provided by caregivers for children in the Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage in the Kampar area. Implementation of care services that often arise are caregivers instructing children to directly work on duty picket, giving advice to foster children who do not want to work when mutual cooperation, caregivers provide improvement by listening to complaints foster children, caregivers use technology as much as possible, and caregivers give rewards to children foster achievers. In this care process the most important thing in care is the chairman of Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage, secretary, treasurer, nurturing section, education section, and skills section.Key Words: Service, Caregivers, Children

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the Batak customary ceremony in the festive atmosphere of Pekanbaru City, Tenayan Raya District, Kulim Village and To find out what is the reason for the change in Batak customary ceremony in Pekanbaru City, Tenayan Raya District, Kulim District ". The population in this study was all heads and housewives of Toba Batak ethnic Christians or Catholics in Tenayan Raya district, Kulim District, with a population of 27,764 residents. The sample of this study was 30 people, 3 of whom were Batak Indigenous leaders, while 27 were Other people are Batak Toba people: This technique of data collection is observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. happy in Pekanbaru City, Tenayan Raya District, Kulim Village overall, of the 30 respondents who said Yes (48%) while those who answered No (52%) meant that there was a change or a shift in the form of traditional Batak Toba ceremony in a festive mood in Pekanbaru City, Tenayan Raya District, Kulim Village. Although the ceremonies were joyful in the city of Pekanbaru, Tenayan Raya district, Kulim Village overall, out of the 30 respondents, many said Yes (43%) while those who answered No (57%) meant that there was a change or shift in procedure for Batak Toba customary ceremony. in the festive mood of the Pekanbaru City Tenayan Raya District Kulim Village. The change in the form and procedure of the Batak Toba ritual in the atmosphere of happiness was due to several factors influencing all respondents who answered Yes (52%) and those who answered No (48%). These factors include the impact of increases and declines, formal and advanced education, and natural factors.Key Words : Change, Joy Ceremony, Toba Batak Traditional

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out whether there was a correlation between grammatical knowledge and writing ability of the second year students of MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi. The population was the second year students of MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi. The sample was decided by using cluster random sampling and there were XI MIA 2 and XI MIA 3 as the samples. Grammar test was applied to know the students’ grammatical knowledge and writing test was applied to know the students’ writing ability in analytical exposition text. The obtained data were analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment Formula which was assisted by IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program. From the analysis, it was found that the coefficient correlation was categorized as mediocre correlation. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. In conclusion, there was a correlation between grammatical knowledge and writing ability of the second year students of MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi. The obtained determination coefficient (R Square) was twenty percent. This means that grammatical knowledge clarifies twenty percent towards writing ability. The rest eighty percents is probably due to other factors which are not involved in this research.Key Words: Correlation, Grammatical Knowledge, Writing Ability

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is students who experience fatigue during sports hours, and even students who do not sweat when sports hours are over. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research, which is analyzing data by describing or describing data that has been collected as it is without intending to make conclusions that apply to the public or generalization. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the level of physical fitness of students of SMA Negeri 3 Mandau and SMA Negeri 9 Mandau students in Bengkalis Regency. The population in this study were male students of class XI MIPA from SMA 3 Mandau and SMA Negeri 9 Mandau Bengkalis Regency, while the total sample was 108 students. The sampling technique is using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, which is if the population has elements that are not homogeneous and proportionally distributed. The instrument in this study was the TKJI test for ages 16-19 years. Based on the research findings and discussion of the results of the study it can be concluded as follows: There are Differences in the Level of Physical Freshness of Students of SMA 3 Mandau and SMA Negeri 9 Mandau Students in Bengkalis Regency. this is evidenced by the results of research that t. table <t. arithmetic or 1,980 <8,47 at the significant level of 5%. Where the level of physical fitness of students of SMA Negeri 3 Mandau is better than that of SMA Negeri 9 Mandau students because SMA Negeri 3 Mandau students walk more to school this certainly makes students do a lot of movement activity and makes students' physical fitness healthier. While the students of SMA Negeri 9 Mandau use more vehicles to go to school, so that students do not do a lot of movement activities and make students' physical fitness disturbed.Keywords: Difference, Physical Fitness

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to uncover the process of cultivating the values the bacterium through the Boy Scout extracurricular. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects used in this study were 47 Scout students. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of nationalism character values had been carried out through Scout extracurricular activities which contained interesting, challenging, and creative activities. The inculcation of nationalism character values has received support from school culture, school programs, and available facilities. In addition there are also obstacles in the implementation of activities such as, lack of interest from students, different character of students, and lack of firmness from Scout coaches.Key Words: Scouts; Character of student nationalism.

Abstract

Abstract: Sukarno Rajita was one of the military figures of the Indonesian army of the armed forces that operation trikora in West Irian in 1961-1962. Sukarno Rajita was born in Cirebon, October 2, 1939 by parents named Rajita and Ratiah. Sukarno Rajita was the first child of seven siblings and played a role in operation trikora in West Irian. The purpose of this study was to determine the background of the life of Sukarno Rajita, to figure out the role of Sukarno Rajita as a figure in the operation of operation trikora in West Irian, to determine the values of the struggle of Sukarno Rajita as to figure out the operation of trikora operation in West Irian and to determine the performance of Sukarno Rajita from the government. Data analysis uses historical writing method that consists of different phases, namely heuristics, criticis, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study were that Sukarno Rajita followed special military training for gun commanders. Sukarno Rajita carried out the operation of trichora in 1961 in the context of the liberation of Western Irish. He was assigned as Tamtama to measure distances to measure the range of fire of an air rifle. During the operation of the trichora, Sukarno Rajita used the main weapon system (defense equipment) with the use of air defense, the cannon. After completing the operations, Sukarno Rajita was placed in the Pekanbaru area. Abstract

Abstract: This study reported research that motivated by the enactment about the regulation of the minister of education and culture number 20 of 2019 in the Republic of Indonesia on the acceptance of new students. The students of FKIP are the students who are predicted as a teacher after graduating from university. The students of FKIP will continue the estafet of education in the teaching and learning process in the school in both formal and non-formal. Therefore, students of FKIP as a candidate of educator or teacher must know and give their perceptions towards the problem that happens in the community especially on the acceptance of new students. The formulation of the problem in this study is how students’ perception in FKIP Universitas Riau towards the regulation of the minister of education and culture number 20 of 2019 in the Republic of Indonesia on the acceptance of new students. The purpose of this study is to find out the perception of students of FKIP Universitas Riau towards the regulation of the minister of education and culture number 20 of 2019 in the Republic of Indonesia on the acceptance of new students. In this study, the researcher uses a descriptive quantitative method. The population of this study was the entire students of FKIP in Universitas Riau with the total population amounted to 5.476 students. In selecting the sample, the researcher used a purposive sampling technique. The number of samples was 160 students from the population. The result of this study can be concluded that the perception of students of FKIP Universitas Riau towards the regulation of the minister of education and culture number 20 of 2019 in the Republic of Indonesia on the acceptance of new students is in the “Good” category.Key Words: Perception, Acceptance Of New Students

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the situational leadership of the organizer of the C package equality program at the Hang Tuah PKBM Pekanbaru City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative paradigm approach. The research subjects will be determined based on purposive sampling, there are 5 (five) informants in this study. Data collection is done by observation (observation), documentation, in-depth interviews (indept interviews), data analysis is done by: data reduction (data reduction); data exposure (data display); and conclusion drawing and verification (conclusion drawing / verifying). The results showed: 1) The manager of the C package equality program implements the situational leadership style, from the indicator the manager acts as an instructor / informs that it has been carried out, consulted / peddled, participated / involved delegating / delegated, 2) the factors supporting situational leadership are the manager of the C package equality program always trying to embrace all parties in carrying out their duties, being fair, providing motivation, having HR in accordance with competency standards, availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure of PKBM. While the inhibiting factors include a number of managers who have difficulty communicating with leaders, 3) Impact of situational leadership in managing the C package equality program at the Hnag Tuah PKBM Pekanbaru City, where up to now the Hnag Tuah PKBM institution has received an "B" accreditation score, and the program equality of the best C packages in Pekanbaru City.Key Words: Leadership Situational, Manager.
