Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is the lack of student and the lack of active students in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect and differences in mathematics learning outcomes between students taught throught the game “Tuju” and by using conventional methods. Based on the result of the study found that there is an influence of the game “Tuju” on the results of learning mathematics in the experimental class with a large influence of 22.9%. in the control class and experimental class posttest, it was obtained tcount = 2,485 ≥ ttable = 2,072, so that there were differences in students’ mathematics learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class.Key Words: Ethnomatematics, Game "Tuju", Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is that the lack of jumps from athletes in punches and drafts makes it easy for opponents to get points, and not maximum when athletes jump, so when making a ball is often involved on the net and damaging the ball often does not hit the ball so that the opponent easily hits the ball defeat it. This type of research is a type of experimental study to see the effect of exercise and the purpose of this study was to look at the effect of barrier hop training on leg muscle strength in the SMAN 1 Sungai Mandau volleyball team. The population in this research was the Bolavoli team of SMAN 1 Sungai Mandau with a total of 10 people. The sampling technique is the use of total sampling, where the total population is sampled. Data collection techniques were obtained from the pre-test and the post-test. The instrument in this research used vertical jump as an aid to measure leg muscle strength. The data is then processed statistically to test normality using the liliefors test at a significant level of 0.05 α. Based on the analysis of the normality of the data X, it produces a LoMax of 0.119 and an Ltable of 0.258, which means LoMax <Ltable. while variable Y yields LoMax of 0.141 and Ltable of 0.258. This means LoMax <L table. The analysis was performed with a t-test. Based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an effect of barrier hop training on leg muscle strength on the SMAN 1 Sungai Mandau volleyball team of the River, as shown by Thitung of 3,167 and Ttable 1,833. Means Thitung> Ttable At the level ɑ = 0.05.Key Words: Barier Hop Exercise, Leg Muscle Strength

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is the strength of the leg muscles of the weight lifting athletes at Prince Gym Pekanbaru when doing weight lifting exercises, the researchers still see that when they pull the weights using the muscles of the legs, which makes the force wrong. The purpose of this study was to study the combination of deadlift exercises against leg strength of weightlifting athlete Prince Gym Pekanbaru who controls 6 people. In the investigation, the sampling technique used was total sampling, so the samples in this study were 6 athletes of Weightlifting Prince Gym Pekanbaru. The instruments used to collect data are pre and post test leg dynamometer. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. From the results of the pre-test normality test and the post-test leg dynamometer weightlifting athlete, Prince Gym Pekanbaru obtained a pre-test of 0.1112 and a post-test of 0.1421 with a value of Ltable according with the sample size of 6 people, that is, 0.319. Capable of L_table> L_count or 0.319> 0.1112 and 0.1421 so that it can be resolved with normally distributed data. Based on the results of the t test, t_count = 3,685> t_table = 2,015 was obtained. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out how the implementation of independent learning at the Dahlia Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM). The formulation of the problem in this research is how the implementation of independent learning in PKBM Dahlia, whether it has been implemented well. This research is a type of Naturalistic Descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This study consists of one variable, namely independent learning consisting of 5 indicators, namely (1) the Pyramid Objectives, (2) Learning Resources and Media, (3) Learning Place and Time, (4) Learning Methods, (5) Evaluation and Assessment . The subjects in the study were 3 people consisting of 1 core informant, 1 control informant and 1 observer informant. Data collection techniques are carried out with field observations, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of interviews with informants, it can be concluded that the implementation of self-learning program C package in PKBM Dahlia, Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City on 2 destination indicators that the pyramid and sources and learning media have reached and can be categorized as feasible to use. And for the other 3 indicators namely place and time of learning, ways of learning, evaluation and assessment are categorized as not in accordance with the theory and procedures that should be and the implementation of activities is not on target.Key Words: Implementation, Independent Learning

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research isto increase student learning outcomes by the learning cycle 7e model on simple machine materials in class VIII state Junior high school 4 Tebing Tinggi. The research method be used in this study is Quasi experimental with Two-group post-test-only design,that uses two groups. This group consist of an experimental group and group control. The Instrument to collecting data in this study uses written test of students cognitive learning outcomes as a posttest with an objective form.The results of the data analysis for the average students grade on an experiment that uses the learning cycle 7e are higher than the control classusing conventional learning. The percentage of the average value of the experimental class students 74% with a high category while thecontrol class 64% with enough categories. Variations in the number of data values for the experimental class and the control class can be see from the standard deviation of the student’s posttest results. The standard deviation of the control class 9,845 while the experimental class is 9,307 so that variation in the values of the control class tends to be higher than the experimental class with a differences of 0,538. Based on inferential analysis, there are significant differences in student’s cognitive learning outcomes between classes applying the learning on simple plane material. Therefore, both descriptively and inferentially, the use of the learning cycle 7emodelis more effective to improve student learning outcomes on simple machine material in class VIII of SMPN 4 Tebing Tinggi.KeyWords : Learning Cycle 7e, Learning Outcomes, Simple Machine, Two-Group Post-Test-Only Design.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the utilization of Bidikmisi scholarship to support students’ learning achievement. The subject of this study is students the study Program of Economics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University. Data were obtained from 23 students scholarship recipients 2016, 2017, and 2018. The data collection techniques used is interview. Technical analysis of data used is qualitative descriptive. Researchers grouped 3 categories of IPK namely high value IPK, moderate value IPK and low value IPK as the basis of determination based on students’ learning achievement. The results showed that from eight indicators, to determine the utilization of Bidikmisi scholarship Program for Students of Economics Education, is separated into 2, namely academic and non-academic benefits. Academic benefits consisting 5 indicators, namely 1) Buy a college book, 2) Pay Tuition fee, 3) Photocopy of coursework, 4) coursework, electronics and pulse package 5) fulfillment of daily necessities, they utilize Scholarship Fund. While the non-academic benefits consist of 3 indicator, namely 6) fulfillment of lifestyle, 7) body care, and 8) transportation, they do not utilize the Bidikmisi scholarship fund.Key Words: Utilization Of Bidikmisi Scholarship, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the research is that there are several characteristics of the differences in the competencies of male and female teachers in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to compare the competencies of male and female teachers based on student perspectives in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the competencies of male and female teachers based on student perspectives in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. This research method is Quantitative with data collection instruments used namely questionnaire consisting of 28 questions and 3 indicators for male and female teachers. The population in this study were students SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. Data management techniques used in this study using SPSS test t different. The study was conducted from January to February 2020 and based on the t test table, a comparison between male and female teacher competencies based on student perceptions SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. is -0.229 with probability (sig.) 0.615. Because the probability (sig.) 0.615 <0.05 then Ha is rejected and t arithmetic -.0.229 smaller than t table 1.98027 (with df 118 and significant 5%). This means that there is no difference between male and female teacher competency based on perception SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Teacher Competencies, Male Teachers and Female Teachers, Student Perceptions

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the more dominant parenting between authoritarian, democratic, and permissive applied to parents who work as rice farmers in Kelurahan Pulau Kecamatan Bangkinang Kabupaten Kampar. This study has 3 indicators, namely (1) authoritarian parenting (authoritarian), (2) authoritative parenting (democracy), and (3) permissive parenting (laissez-faire). The sample in this study used a simple random sampling technique (simple random sampling). The population in this study were 59 people. So the sample of this study was 37 people and 20 people were trial samples. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire technique. The data of this research are systematic, planned and clearly arranged data from the beginning to the making of the research design. Validity test was conducted on 20 parents (mothers), with a critical r value of 0.444. Of the 55 statement items that were tested, 4 statements were invalid and 51 were valid. So that 51 legitimate questionnaire items were used for research. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the results of this study note that parenting (mother) who works as a rice farmer in Kelurahan Pulau Kecamatan Bangkinang Kampar Regency is classified as good. Seen from an authoritarian parenting more dominant, compared to democratic parenting and permissive parenting although both are applied.Key Words: Reading Interest, Factors That Affects The Low Reading Interest

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of arm and shoulder muscle power with the speed of the front stroke on the Setia Hati Terate Pencak Silat athlete in Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in the Field of Training in the Pencak Silat Setia Hati Terate in Pekanbaru. Conducted in November 2019 - April 2020. This research is included in the type of correlational research (Correlation Research) which involves collecting data to determine whether there is a relationship and the level of relationship between two or more variables. This study uses a total sampling technique (saturated sample), where the entire population used as a sample is as many as 8 people. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a very strong relationship together between the arm and shoulder muscle power to the speed of the front punch of the Setia Hati Terate Pencak Silat athlete in Pekanbaru, where rtable at a significant level (0.05) = 0.707 means r count (0.730)> r table (0.707), which means it contributes normally.Key Words: Jump Rope Training, Slowly, Endurance Tennis Team

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the observation of researchers conducted at the athletic State High school athletics athletes, there are still many problems especially on the number of the 800-Meter-long running distance that can be seen as in the national match, in the game the athlete has been good but has not reached the peak achievement. The purpose of this research is to know the durability and speed relationship with the results of the 800 Meter men's run on athletic athletes high school sports in Riau province. The population in this study was the athletic athlete of the 800 Meter Sprint High School of Riau province which numbered as much as 6 people. Sample withdrawal using the total sampling technique.This research instrument bleep test for measuring Vo2 Max, running 30 meters to measure speed and running 800 meters. The collected Data will be analyzed using double correlation. Based on the results of the research that the author has outlined in the previous chapter, it can be taken the conclusion as follows. From the results obtained durability there is no significant relationship with the results of running 800 meters in athletic athletes SMA State sports Riau Province, with rcount = 0.028 < Rtable = 0.950. If compared with the interpretation of correlation, there is a very low relationship that ranges from 0.00-0,199. From the results obtained speed there is no significant relationship with the results of running 800 meters in athletic athletes SMA State sports Riau Province, with rcount = 0.395 < Rtable = 0.950. If compared with the interpretation of correlation, there is a low relationship that ranges from 0.20-0,399. There was no significant relationship between the durability and speed of the 800 meter run in athletic high school sports athletes in Riau province, with rcount = 0.533 < Rtable = 0.950. If compared with the interpretation of correlation, there is a moderate relationship ranging from 0.40-0,599.Key Words: Endurance, Speed, Running Results 800 Meters
