Abstract

Greenhouse can be made according to the conditions of the season for certain plants as expected, namely by adjusting the amount of soil moisture and temperature. The methodology used in regulating soil temperature and humidity is to make an automatic greenhouse watering device with a web server. To detect temperature using DHT22 and soil moisture using a capacitive sensor v1.2. For actuator, it uses two pumps, namely a water pump and a mist pump. So that the sensor and actuator output can be monitored and stored properly, a monitoring system for temperature and soil moisture in the greenhouse is designed using MQTT communication. Data from the controller node will be processed and sent using an ESP32 microcontroller connected by wifi to the Thingsboard server using MQTT communication. In this system, the web werver delay test, data usage, and testing monitor sensor values and monitoractuator conditions are carried out. From the data from the web server delay test results and the data usage that has been tested, the system takes 2-3 seconds in a single data transfer to the Thingsboard server and data usage in one month requires 386MB of internet data. While testing the sensor values and actuator conditions, the system is able to provide real-time responses and is stored on the Thingsboard server as a monitoring tool in the greenhouse. Abstract

This paper investigates on the design of proportional-integral (PI) controller with three-phase pulse-width modulation (PWM) rectifier as the plant to be controlled. PWM rectifier is used to reduce the total harmonic distortion (THD) injected to the system from nonlinear load used. Space vector pulse-width modulation technique is used to control the switching of the rectifier where three-phase currents and voltages are presented in the synchronous reference frame. Vector control strategy is used to carry out the modulation for optimal DC voltage output and THD reduction. In order to have optimally designed controller, gain parameters based on cascade-control of the voltage and current controller are tuned based on symmetrical optimum and modulus optimum tuning method. Simulation using MATLAB/Simulink are done to verify the stability of the output DC voltage and reduction of the THD. Abstract

This study aims to ensure the estimation of power usage time in portable power supplies. The main component of this system is a portable power supply which contains a battery as a power supply, a current shunt as a current sensor, and Arduino as a microcontroller. The portable power supply will store energy from the solar cell through the solar cell power supply. When using a portable power supply, the parameter to consider is the output current because it will be an assessment of power usage in units of time, because not everyone knows the battery voltage limit. The current value is obtained from the Current shunt current sensor. The conversion of the current value into an estimate of time is by calculating the power equation. Current Shunt sensor is a sensor that has positive and negative poles with the ability to read currents up to 100A 60 mV. This shunt current sensor requires a signal conditioning circuit that is used as an amplifier circuit on the sensor. This circuit contains IC AD620 as an op-amp which has advantages at high frequencies and has a high level of precision. The time value will be displayed on the LCD 16x2 contained in the portable power supply. Abstract

This study designed a device that is charging portable electric batteries and SHS batteries with automatic switches that will be used on the beach at Clungup Mangrove Conservation (CMC) for electricity needs in the area. In the design, the energy sources will be stored in portable electric batteries and SHS batteries. SHS batteries will be placed in the command post area from the CMC beach and portable electric batteries will be used at the post and at the CMC beach. The voltage source comes from solar panels that capture sunlight. Solar charge controller (SCC) is an electronic device that functions as control and monitoring of voltage, current, and temperature. SCC will prevent overcharging of SHS batteries and portable electric batteries. In its implementation, portable electric batteries and SHS batteries will experience low or high voltage level conditions. The automatic switch system will work if three conditions occur. The first condition is when the electric battery has a lower voltage level than the SHS battery, the SCC connected to the relay will be active and charge the portable electric battery. Abstract

The steel cutting process in the industry is carried out to be consistent as desired. Automation design using Plasma Cutting is one of the mechanisms used by the industry in connecting rods in steel building construction and machine construction, so that the selector is more efficient and reduces the error rate in the selection process. The Steel Cutting design is driven by 2 stepper motors on X axis and 1 stepper motor on Y axis, the welding speed can be adjusted and starts with a straight speed of up to 40cm. In this study, using a lead screw and a ball screw to change the translational motion of a stepper motor with a precision level of 5mm or the equivalent of 200 steps per rotation so that 1 step is 1.8˚, the TB6600 module and Arduino Mega 2560 as a controller are tested on a welding table. measuring 75 cm long x 70 cm wide x 40 cm high and the system design uses a Time Schedule Control type sequential method. Based on the results of experiments and the creation of a system to regulate translational motion, the average error is 1.02%. Abstract

Milk is a highly nutritious food ingredient because fresh milk contains a variety of complete and balanced food substances such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, minerals, and vitamins. Dairy products that have high nutritional value can easily become a place for the development of microorganisms. Microorganisms that breed in milk can cause changes in the color, aroma, and taste of the milk, eventually spoiling the milk. Pasteurization of milk used in the dairy industry uses the LTST (Low Temperature Long Time) and HTST (High Temperature Short Time) methods. Pasteurization by heating milk can reduce the nutritional content of milk. Pulse Electric Field (PEF) is a non-thermal food processing method that provides electric shocks in the form of high-voltage pulses to foodstuffs for a certain time at room temperature. In this study, the design of an electroporator system for milk pasteurization using PEF was carried out. The results of the pasteurization process using an electroporator are considered to be able to reduce the amount of bacteria contained in milk. The highest field strength produced by this tool is able to touch the figure of 32 kV/cm with a maximum voltage of 48 kV. By setting the pump motor duty cycle of 14% and the pasteurization time of 3 minutes, the milk condition has a longer shelf life than unpasteurized fresh milk. These results are evidenced by the methylene blue reductase test in milk, where 100 ml of milk is homogenized with 1 ml of methylene blue and then waited until the milk turns white. Abstract

The development of technology, especially in the field of wireless communication, has developed quitte rapidly. Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology is one of the births of wireless communication technology which is a new challenge for communication engineers. The development of SDR systems has made significant progress in recent years because these systems have the ability to improve the quality of previous analog radio communications and can be used as a replacement for hardware implementations. SDR can be used when redesigning a radio software system where later the parameters can be changed to get the desired quality using the existing codes. To be able to solve code and process radio signals required hardware such as computers to support SDR technology. An application that runs inside GNU Radio by construct block. So the purpose of this thesis is to determine the frequency allocation of FM radio stations that are used in an area at the same time. The design of the spectrum analyzer in this thesis is based on SDR using an RTL-SDR type 2832U dongle. This spectrum research used RTL-SDR, suggested improvements such as the need for an increase in the RTL-SDR specifications used in this thesis, need to do research and design using other SDR and it is necessary to add facilities by setting the resolution bandwidth to determine the level of some radio signals.Index Terms – RTL-SDR, GNU Radio, Spectrum Analyzer

Abstract

Koi fish (Cyprinus carpio), or commonly known as nishikigoi, is one of the ornamental fish that is in great demand by the public today, because koi fish has a very beautiful uniqueness, both in terms of shape, pattern, and color on the body of the koi fish, that it has a high selling price. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatur suhu dan kelembaban lingkungan kumbung inkubasi jamur tiram (Pleourotu var florida) desain peneliti dengan mengatur suhu dan kelembaban menggunakan metode kontrol logika Fuzzy (KLF) dengan aktuator suhu menggunakan lampu pijar 40W serta kipas dc 15V dan aktuator kelembaban menggunakan Humidifier serta kipas dc 15V dan terhubung dengan internet menggunakan ESP8266-01. Untuk parameter yang dikontrol pada penelitian ini yaitu suhu 25°C dan kelembaban 60% RH menggunakan metode interferensi Mamdani sistem dapat mempertahankan pada parameter yang diinginkan dan memonitor dengan menggunakan aplikasi Blynk. Abstract

Drive test is a measurement method that is carried out on a mobile basis to observe the quality of telecommunication network services. The drive test measurement was carried out using the GNetTrack Pro. Meanwhile, eNodeB analysis was performed using atoll software. This study aims to determine and analyze the quality of 4G LTE network services in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone, Central Lombok Regency using the RSRP and RSRQ parameters. The results of this study indicate that the RSRP value in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone which is more than -80 dBm is only 28.3%. Meanwhile, the highest value is between -95 dBm to -80 dBm, which is 47.6%. This value indicates that the transmit power of the transmitted signal is in the good category, but does not meet the very good criteria according to the KPI standard, which is above -80 dBm, the most RSRQ value in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone is between -14 dB. up to -9 dB that is equal to 65.4%. This value indicates the quality of the received signal is in the normal category. And there is no RSRQ value above -3 dB, and based on the coverage, the more eNodeB, the wider the signal coverage area, but will also allow a higher probability of interference.Keywords: Special Economic Zones, Drive Test, RSRP, RSRQ, ATOLL
