Abstract

Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) is a condition that causes pain in the orofacial area and musculoskeletal system with a prevalence of 5% to 12% in adults. TMD is common due to lack of awareness of the disease, even though its impact can severely disrupt the daily activities of the sufferer. It can cause periodic or constant pain in the stomatognathic system, namely the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) which is the most frequently used part of the body (eating and speaking), patients can experience limited jaw motion, impaired joint function, muscle pain, joint pain, facial pain, and pain when opening the jaw. The sooner it is detected, the faster the treatment for this disease. However, the frequency of monitoring TMJ health conditions is rarely done. Currently, the only methods used are Xray diagnosis or panaromic radiography and the resulting data does not always provide accurate information. When viewed from an economic point of view, the cost required for detection is considered quite expensive and requires a long process. Through these problems, technology is needed that can detect the patient's condition non-invasively and routinely. The technology needed can mainly record the activity of the masseter and temporalis muscles by utilizing Electromyography (EMG) sensors that can be connected to an Android-based monitoring application. And can provide a classification of the severity of the patient with the Asymmetry Index method and provide education in reducing these risk factors. This innovation has been tested on 15 patients with a classification accuracy rate of 86.7% compared to the results of the doctor's diagnosis. In testing the system monitoring application, the average data transmission time is faster using the 5 GHz network than 2.4 GHz, but the difference is very small and almost invisible, namely 0.255 seconds. These results show that this TMD monitoring tool is effective for detecting and monitoring TMD conditions on an ongoing basis, reducing dependence on invasive methods and assisting users in classifying TMD conditions.Keywords : Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD), Internet of Things, Asymmetry Index, Electromyography (EMG), Monitoring

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman membawa masyarakat ke era modern di mana listrik berperan penting dalam mendukung produktivitas karena sifatnya yang fleksibel dan mudah ditransmisikan. Ketergantungan yang tinggi pada listrik meningkatkan tantangan menjaga keandalan sistem distribusi. Kota Bandung, dengan luas 167,31 km² dan kepadatan penduduk tinggi, memiliki kebutuhan distribusi listrik yang kompleks. Penelitian ini fokus pada Penyulang Cigereleng Mahameru Kuning (CMK) PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Prima Priangan, dengan panjang 3,901 kms dan 10 pelanggan industri besar, karena tingginya pemakaian daya dan gangguan yang berpotensi merugikan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menghitung indeks keandalan (SAIFI dan SAIDI) Penyulang CMK menggunakan metode RIA (Reliability Index Assessment) dan simulasi ETAP 19.0.1, menentukan ENS (Energy Not Supplied), serta menghitung kerugian ekonomi untuk dibandingkan dengan standar SPLN 59 tahun 1985. Hasil menunjukkan nilai SAIFI 2,342851 gangguan/tahun dan SAIDI 7,4028 jam/tahun (metode RIA), serta SAIFI 2,4233 gangguan/tahun dan SAIDI 7,6043 jam/tahun (simulasi ETAP). ENS tercatat sebesar 57.826,7661 kWh dengan kerugian ekonomi mencapai Rp80.890.611,12. Selisih indeks keandalan SAIFI dan SAIDI antara kedua metode adalah 6,71% dan 4,68%. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa indeks keandalan Penyulang CMK belum memenuhi standar SPLN 59 Tahun1985. Abstract

Industri pangan Indonesia berkontribusi besar terhadap PDB dengan pertumbuhan tahunan 3,57%, namun keamanan pangan menjadi perhatian akibat penggunaan pewarna sintetis terlarang seperti rhodamin B dan methanyl yellow. Keterbatasan produksi pewarna alami menjadi tantangan, meski Indonesia kaya akan pigmen alami seperti beta karoten, pigmen antioksidan yang menghasilkan warna kuning hingga oranye. Beta karoten dapat diekstraksi dari komoditas seperti labu kuning (Cucurbita moschata), namun metode ekstraksi konvensional seperti maserasi membutuhkan waktu lama, sementara metode ultrasonik tanduk getar berbiaya tinggi dan berisiko degradasi senyawa. Solusi inovatif berupa mesin ekstraksi berbasis ultrasonic transducer array dengan Arduino Uno dikembangkan, terdiri atas reaction chamber, cooling chamber, dan control panel. Mesin ini, dengan daya 266 watt, menghasilkan kadar beta karoten tertinggi sebesar 4941,12 µg/g, lebih efisien dibanding teknologi lain. Mesin ini memaksimalkan hasil ekstraksi serta mengefisiensikan waktu, biaya, dan penggunaan bahan ekstraksi.Kata Kunci—Beta Karoten, Mesin Ekstraksi, Pewarna, Pewarna Alami, Labu Kuning.

Abstract

The need for the availability of reliable and efficient electrical energy is expected by the community as consumers. To find out how reliable and efficient a system is in supplying electrical energy to customers, it is necessary to analyze the reliability of the system. Distribution system reliability analysis can be done using several methods such as Section Technique and Reliability Index Assessment (RIA). The purpose of combining the Section Technique and RIA methods is to combine or sum up the parameters of the sustained failure rate and also the momentary failure rate. The combination of these two methods aims to complement the Section Technique method which only uses the sustained failure rate parameter. This study aims to determine the reliability index value of the Jiken Feeder of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Porong. In addition, this study will also calculate the value of economic losses received by PT PLN (Persero) ULP Porong based on the amount of Energy Not Supplied during a disturbance. To determine the reliability index value of Jiken Repository, several methods will be carried out, namely manual calculation using the Section Technique method and also a combined method (Section Technique - RIA), RIA and simulation using ETAP 19.0.1 software. The final result of the reliability index value will then be compared with the provisions of SPLN No. 59 of 1985, which shows that Jiken is categorized as unreliable because its reliability index value is above the provisions of SPLN No. 59 of 1985.Keywords : Section Technique, Combined Method, ETAP, Energy Not Supplied, Economic Loss

Abstract

The habit of leaving electrical devices running unattended can lead to electricity wastage and, in the event of a short circuit, can potentially cause fires. Electricity consumption by PLN customers in the household sector continues to increase every year, necessitating enhanced efficiency. One solution is to use IoT to monitor and control electricity usage. This research employs the design of an IoT-based smart plug capable of monitoring AC electrical variables such as voltage, current, power, frequency, and power factor, as well as controlling a relay to cut off the power supply. Testing was conducted using a multimeter and a single-phase energy meter as a benchmark for the designed prototype. Additionally, the IoT system's response time was evaluated. From testing the ZMPT101b sensor, a difference of 4.358 V was found compared to the benchmark device, while the ZMCT103c sensor showed differences of 68.4 mA, 61.7 mA, and 68.3 mA across three loads. The power differences for each load were 0.38 W, 0.74 W, and 0.07 W, respectively. Regarding energy measurement performance, a difference of 0.1 kWh across the three loads was observed compared to the benchmark device. The actuator used is a relay, which disconnects the power supply in the event of an overload. The device's current-limiting performance was demonstrated when one circuit detected an overload (>5A), causing the relay in that circuit to successfully disconnect the power supply. The IoT system implementation was carried out via a web server with a local IP, which was then connected to the internet using the ESP32 Power Monitor application on a smartphone. With ESP32 Power Monitor, users can view sensor parameter readings and control the relay status for each load.Keywords : IoT, smart plug, power monitoring, energy efficiency, remote control

Abstract

A disease characterized by craniofacial pain involving the joints, masticatory muscles, or muscles that innervate the head and neck is temporomandibular disorder (TMD). TMD is a major cause of pain in the orofacial region that is non-dental in nature. One of the factors causing TMD is hyperactivity of the muscles around the face. TMD often comes on suddenly, resulting in a decrease in the patient's quality of life, as it significantly interferes with the patient's ability to perform daily tasks such as eating, speaking, or yawning. An existing tool is Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) as one of the effective non-invasive, non-drug physical therapy techniques for the treatment of TMD. However, there are problems experienced at this time TENS has not been able to provide spontaneous and longterm therapy equipped with a monitoring application for the doctor in charge, so that its use remains under the supervision of a doctor. Through these problems, a technology is needed using the TENS method non-invasively accompanied by an Internet of Things (IoT) integrated doctor monitoring application. This innovation has been tested the functionality of the tool to determine the performance of the tool. In the output test, the percentage error and standard deviation of frequency 0.19% and 0.391 and voltage 0.075% and 0.1268 were obtained. TENS therapy testing results in a decrease in pain of 58%. The test results of internet data transmission of two different Access Point Bands with an average delivery time of 1.98 and 1.7 seconds.Keywords : temporomandibular disorder, TENS, Non-Invasive, Internet of Things

Abstract

Wi-Fi-based hotspot networks have become the main solution for providing broad and flexible internet access, especially in environments that require shared connections, such as educational institutions. This research focuses on the design and construction of a Wi-Fi-based hotspot network at the PPAI Annahdliyah Islamic Boarding School (MAPKNU) Karangploso, Malang Regency, with the implementation of bandwidth management for even distribution of connections. The activity stages include site surveys, hardware installation, software configuration, and Quality of Service (QoS) testing. Test results show an increase in bandwidth efficiency after implementing management using Mikrotik, where throughput increased from an average of 4.5 Mbps to 9.8 Mbps, delay was reduced from 78 ms to 45 ms, and packet loss fell from 6% to 1%. This increase reflects more efficient bandwidth allocation and better connection quality for all users.Keywords – Hotspot, Bandwidth Management, QoS.

Abstract

Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are characterized by craniofacial pain involving the joints, masticatory muscles, or muscles that innervate the head and neck. TMD can significantly reduce a person's quality of life such as eating and speaking, as well as affect the growth and development of the jaw and face. The main goals of TMD patient management are to reduce pain, reduce functional and parafunctional activities that cause abnormalities, and improve normal function. However, the lack of non invasive tools to measure the condition of muscle activity that parameterizes the severity of TMD is still a problem that exists today. Through this problem, a technology is needed that can monitor masseter and temporalis muscle activity by utilizing Electromyography sensors that can be connected to a monitoring application. The required technology can also provide classification of TMD severity conditions of patients using the asymmetry index method. This innovation has tested the functionality of the tool which is compared with the doctor's diagnosis. The results of data transmission tests via the internet with two different Access Point Bands were obtained with an average delivery time of 1.73 and 1.99 seconds. In testing the classification of conditions using the application obtained an accuracy rate of 100%. Testing the classification of conditions using the asymmetry index resulted in an accuracy rate of 86.67% by testing fifteen patients who have been diagnosed with TMD by doctors and normal patients.Keywords: Temporomandibular Disorder, Electromyography, Monitoring, Asymmetry index, Noninvasive

Abstract

This research discusses the design and implementation of an IoT-based water quality monitoring system with automatic drainage features for optimizing freshwater crayfish aquaculture. The system utilizes ammonia (MQ-135), turbidity (SEN0189), temperature (DS18B20), and pH (pH-4502C) sensors to monitor water quality parameters in real-time. Sensor data is transmitted through ESP32 to the Blynk IoT platform for remote monitoring. The system is equipped with an automatic water drainage feature that activates when water parameters exceed predetermined thresholds. Test results show that the system can detect water parameters with high accuracy: ammonia sensor 82,42%, turbidity sensor 91,39%, temperature sensor 98,87%, and pH sensor 98,48%. The system successfully maintains water parameters within ideal ranges: ammonia <0.05 mg/L, turbidity <25 NTU, temperature 24-28°C, and pH 7.0-8.5. The system also successfully provides real-time notifications and activates automatic drainage when needed. Abstract

Pemanfaatan nergi surya menjadi salah satu solusi penting untuk mengatasi kebutuhan energi yang terus meningkat. Salah satu komponen utama system energi surya adalah photovoltaic (PV), yang mengubah radiasi matahari menjadi energi Listrik. Namun, efisiensi system PV sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi radiasi matahari dan suhu yang menyebabkan efisiensi menjadi fluktuatif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) pada system PV agar bisa memaksimalkan hasil daya keluaran dari panel surya walaupun terjadi perubahan dalam kondisi radiasi matahari dan suhu lingkungan yang ada. Pada penelitian ini, penulis akan melakukan percobaan melacak daya maksimal dengan software Matlab Simulink menggunakan algoritma Perturb and Observe (P&O) dan Incremental Conductance (IC). Penulis merancang desain MPPT dengan boost converter untuk mencari daya maksimum panel surya serta menggunakan pengukuran data secara langsung di Lokasi tertentu selama tiga hari berturut-turut yang digunakan sebagai input dari system PV  dalam simulasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma P&O menghasilkan daya keluaran maksimum sebesar 264.9 W lebih tinggi dibandingkan IC yang mencapai 213.8 W. Namun, IC menunjukkan stabilitas efisiensi yang lebih baik dengan nilai tertinggi sebesar 96.96% sedangkan P&O hanya mencapai 96.81% .Kata Kunci― Panel Surya, Maximum Power Point Tracking, Perturb and Observe, Incremental Conductance, PV, Efisiensi
