Abstract

Acne vulgaris is a common skin disease found in men of all ages and sexes. Acnes have different types according to their severity.In this research, an application were developed to detect, do segmentation, and process the classification an acne object in human’s face. The process begins with the insertion of several seed points on a photo. Each of those seed points were developed further into a region that mask the whole acne using Region Growing Method. Afterward, the regions were grouped together with other acne of similiar features using Self Organizing Map.According to the experiment’s result, the Region Growing Method gives a satisfying result to do a segmentation on an acne object. But it should be pointed out that every different acne object requires different threshold to achieve an ideal result. Self Organizing Map gives an undesirable result, as the input photos with different skin colors and lightning conditions affect the accuraccy of the result.

Abstract

In this era, people want everything to be fast, easy and use less power. People nowadays are too lazy to go out.  Because of this reason, a breakthrough which is an application of flower message delivery service was made. This application is based on Android, designed to use HTML 5, and is supported with a compilation by Phonegap. By using the application, with the internet being installed in the gadget on the Android operating system, this delivery service can be accessed more practical and very easy to use.This application makes people save more time and costs. The availability of the chat features simplify the complicated flower ordering especially in Surabaya where Google Map application is supported. This will also make people can check the position of their flower orders easily.

Abstract

Stroke is one of the most common cause of death after heart disease and cancer. Stroke occurs when an artery to the brain is blocked. Lots of things may cause stroke to different people, some of them are smoking, high blood pressures and sickle cells. One of the common kind of stroke is hemiplegia which makes the person who suffers from it loses the ability to move half of their body parts.For a person that suffer stroke to reavh full or almost full recovery, a continuos rehabilitation is needed. It can be both psychology and physical rehabilitation. But since they have to go to a hospital or a rehabilitation centre to get rehabilitation, it makes them hard to receive proper treatment and theraphy. With Kinect, a home rehabilitation therapy for stroke patients is possible, with less cost and more efficient than going to a hospital or hiring a private therapist.Kinect is a camera with depth sensor that is released by Microsoft primarily for XBOX 360, but then people start developing computer applications with Kinect, so nowadays there’s a lot of use of Kinect if paired up with computers. With Unity which is a game development software, an application for that particular home rehabilitation can be made. It will feature one kind of a 3 dimensional model but simple activity that hopefuly can help improve storke patients’ conditions. It would make them rasie their hand to do the activity in the application which would train them to use their hands again after suffering from stroke.

Abstract

Lombok is a beautiful and interesting place to visit, but due to lack of local interest and attention, now Lombok becomes less advanced, but when compared to other places in Indonesia, Lombok so is beautiful. This app will help tourists who want to travel on the island of Lombok, and also very much information can diperoleh of the features of this application, such as when wistawan want to see the beautiful scenery but do not know the road to get there, it will be guided by the route features in this app , and also when it runs out of money, gasoline and others, there is a nearby feature that can show the user the nearest position now and which should go. Users can plan a trip with because it has a feature where users can plan their trips themselves. Having a nearby feature where the ad shows seeking atm / rental car and gas station nearby which can make the user become quiet and a lot of information about the surrounding area. Users can find the desired location with ease for their routes in the specified so that it can follow the route that and get to the goal

Abstract

Trade is an activity of the transaction between seller and buyer. These transactions are usually in the form of exchange of money the buyer with the goods or services from sellers. For many people trading is also an opportunity to increase their profits. But they must be good at predicting consumer demand, to minimize expired goods that would result in losses and thus reduce profit for the company or shop.One of the quick solution to reduce the problems is to use software to predict the future of the cash flow in the store. So that can reduce the amount of loss of cash in the store because of run out of stocks or expired items.Point Of Sales is a software system that can record every transaction made by the seller and the buyer. This system can record every detail accurately.

Abstract

UD. XYZ is a trade company that works in selling furnitures. The trade activity done by UD. XYZ covers retail and wholesale sale (as the stores supplier).  Even though UD. XYZ has financial department that holds the responsibility to company’s financial management, there is only a little data process system usage with Microsoft Excel. To overcome the problem that is faced by UD. XYZ in processing the financial data, then the written chose the tittle “Accounting Information System.”From this background, a structured Accounting Information System that supports the company in doing sale, purchase, sale return, purchase return, debt payment, and credit payment, which is also focused on profit loss calculation on the company is made. The Accounting Information System was made using the programming language such as PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor), HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), and MYSQL as the database.The designed Accounting Information System for UD. XYZ hopefully can help the company processing transactions into computerized financial report, which includes master report, sale and purchase report, until the output can show the profit loss condition of the company and the balance sheets of every stores owned by UD. XYZ.

Abstract

Finding new animals can sometimes be something new for humans. If both tame or wild animal is found, it usually search for information about the animal would do. However, knowledge of these animals still tend to be minimal. Questions arise about knowledge of these animal. However, this knowledge comes after the animal attacked. Therefore, the solution provided is an application that generates information that is always new with image detection technology. Thus, with just a photograph, information can be obtained easily and quickly. Application can be run on Android Jellybean operating system API 17 and so on.

Abstract

Portfolio using single index models already common made by the players and also the financial consultant. Portfolio of stocks in order to determine what combination of stocks that can be purchased with the expected result is maximum profit with very little risk.But not all the players especially the new players will not understand about the portfolio. Based on these problems, then made a web-based application that can calculate the desired stock portfolio in order to understand whether the stock is favorable or not to optimize the speed of data processing and data entry. Also use the display that is easily understood by the user even if the user is included layman in terms of stocks.The end result of making this application is the calculation that can be justified by proving the truth compared to manual calculation.

Abstract

Nowadays, many peoples need mobile device as an application for saving many documents. Usually, the documents scattered in various folders at different location with unstructured documents’ name. It causes difficulty of finding the documents. Furthermore, peoples need to open the document in various format (pdf, ppt, pptx, doc, docx). There’s condition when they just need to save some document pages to their mobile device.This application is made for mobile device’s users that developed with Android Studio and Notepad++. It can display the content of the document in some format (pdf, ppt, pptx, doc, docx) and combine the content from one document to another. Moreover, it can make a new document that contain some pages from other document. Users also can search the title and word in the document.According to the implementation result which has been tested on Android 5 (Lollipop), this application was able to show the result from open document, new document, merge document, tittle search, and word search by phonegap.

Abstract

The monitoring system is an important component that we need a system datacenter. Problem can be occurred if a datacenter system does not have a monitoring system. It could lead to be a problem for a network administrator to manage and monitor servers in a network.This thesis intends to make a system monitoring with monitoring tools namely Zabbix. Zabbix is a monitoring tools that have user friendly interface, and also can display some information needed to improve work of network administrator. Some features such as Telegram API and SMS API added in Zabbix.By doing so, Zabbix can send notification message to network administrator if trouble happens in network. The result shows by adding Telegram API and SMS API in Zabbix, network administrator can reveal network condition in real time.
