Abstract

The use of smartphone technology to obtain or disseminate information in various activities of citizens is very rarely used. RT managers usually use the correspondence to give news of their citizens if they want to hold an event in their neighborhood. Letters distributed to residents, usually only in the form of agenda, place and time of implementation. Not infrequently, residents who receive letters long-time terebut forget the agenda that has been planned by the RT management. Due to a written letter that is only informative and not as a media reminders / reminder of the event.The process of making this program is equipped with Java and PHP as programming languages, MySQL as database, Android Studio and Sublime which is used to display the source code of programming language and web browser as media to display website which have been made in Sublime.The results obtained from the applications that have been made, among others, the making of citizen activities and citizens' appeal made by the chairman of the household, monthly financial reports made by the treasurer, and opinions of citizens who can be used to share opinions among all citizens. And also the notification and alarm activities to facilitate interaction among fellow citizens.

Abstract

Museum is a place that has a lot of historical relics and cultural elements, but every museum has a challenge to determine the best way to present the information to visitors. Group of visitors usually get have events and places that have been scheduled by House of Sampoerna’s museum guide, ultimately limiting each individuals to explore deeper on the objects that are more interesting for individuals. In addition, information about objects contained in the museum is limited to the tags or information printed on the area around the object so information can be added.Through this Android-based applications visitors can get information not only in the form of text, but also can be audio and video about objects in the museum that can be accessed individually. In addition, the author added the game mode quiz and guess silhouette by utilizing QR code technology to provide innovation so that museum visitors can further explore museums.The results of the application has two modules, Android-based mobile applications for users or museum visitors and website applications for the museum admin. In the mobile user application there are several menus, there are displaying the detail data of the museum, displaying the list of events contained in the museums, perform a barcode scan process to obtain more complete information, and do the game in the museum. For website applications on the admin museum can manage all the museum data that will be used in the user application. From the test of mobile applications that have been done, 80% of respondents rate this application is good and all respondents rate this application can help if they want to explore the museum alone. While testing the museum admin has satisfied with the website application features.

Abstract

Along with technological advances, many applications are already using technology called Augmented Reality, a technology that combines two-dimensional or three-dimensional virtual objects into a real three-dimensional environment and projects those virtual objects in real-time. Augmented Reality itself allows users to interact in real-time with the system. Augmented Reality is widely used in various things, for example in the field of entertainment, advertising and also used in the games. But of the many games in circulation, there are still few games that use Augmented Reality as the main key in the game.Tower defense games have the primary purpose of protecting a base from being reached by enemies running on predetermined paths by constructing tower placements. By using augmented reality, user can play the game through various viewpoints in accordance with the movement of the camera on the android device that leads to the marker so that it will increase the interaction between players with the game.Through testing can be proven that the use of Vuforia’s Augmented Reality can be used for game development because it can provide good results. Application of Augmented Reality in this game makes the game more interesting so players will not feel bored even though it has played the game many times.

Abstract

In a large corporation with multiple network devices, a network operator often has to manually configure each device. However, there are some requirements to re-organize devices becomes more flexible in order to respond to challenges such as restricting host and port (services) access.SDN or Software Defined Network is believed by some people to be one solution to answer the above challenges. In this study, some of the above problems will be answered using the concept of SDN. If there is a point of management, it will be possible to change network behavior and / or other configurations, and make other changes dynamically or automatically (programmed), especially in policy changes. In this exploration, OpenWRT is embedded in network devices so it is possible to be controlled. To facilitate the programming of the network, then built web services that are equipped with security authorization.The results of this exploration show that the concept of Software Defined Networking can answer the above problems, with relatively low cost.

Abstract

UD. ABC was a iron distributor and retail store. UD. ABC sells many type of products as steel bar, iron box, iron pipes, and aluminium expansion. However, UD. ABC currently still using the system for recording purchases and sales manually.Seeing their information system related the problems faced by UD. ABC, so accounting information system software was made to help improve business process control in UD. ABC. This accounting information system comprise computerized system of purchase, sales, profit and loss calculations, balance sheet, and display the necessary reports for company. This application uses the programming language CodeIgniter Framework and MySQL.

Abstract

Communication in social media has became a lifestyle of Indonesian people. Most of the kind of communication between users are commentary text. Often there are comments that contain elements of insults directed at others. Detection of insult elements in comment text in social media is needed.The first step in the method is to normalize the text so that the comment text is more organized and standardized. The replacement of the insult verbal variation into the original insult word is also done. Then do the stemming process to take the basic word of each word. By performing feature extraction of the text, obtained every feature of the text is then predicted using the SVM method.The application used in this paper successfully detected insulting elements in the text of comments from social media using the three methods of SVM classification, Logistic Regression, and Naive Bayes.

Abstract

The transaction is an activity that causes changes to the financial position, the transaction is said to be valid or valid, if completed with proof of transaction. During this time, the transaction process that took place in Petra Christian University Canteen was done manually, i.e. students or employees ordered food to the booths. This resulted in slow transaction transactions and hassle booths, and did not deny the possibility of loss of proof of sale transaction, proving that the transaction is valid / valid.To answer the problem, designed a system that utilizes RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification). By utilizing this technology, students and employees can use identity cards (KTM / Employee Card) in conducting transactions in the canteen. In addition to transactions to be safe because it is done digitally, it can help buy-sell transactions to be faster. In addition, the PetraCanteen Application is intended for employees, includinglecturers who want to conduct transactions online, so no longer need to queue in the canteen, or make phone calls to the cafeteria.

Abstract

In the process of logistics distribution for natural disasters, PMI faces several obstacles. obstacles in the face of the management of logistics information systems run manually or physically. Thus, the data entered is not actual and appropriate and spend more time. Therefore, in this paper made web that will help record every logistics process that happened.Before starting the application development, analysis and design of the existing logistics system in PMI East Java province. The analysis and design stage generates the number of modeling used to create the application. This web uses HTML, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX and view using Bootstrap template. To get Latitude and Latitude feature using Google API.The end result of the creation of this application is an application that includes features to record the necessary data in the logistics information system required by PMI East Java with features that tend to work for PMI-administrations, donors, and supermarkets because it is difficult for volunteer to open or bring electronic devices.

Abstract

Make Up Artist is one of the services by doing make over the women to make it look more beautiful and different. MUA in Indonesia uses several social media applications in transacting like Instagram, Facebook, and Line. But there are some obstacles that are often experienced by users such as schedule settings because many clients are asking on the same day, difficulty in searching MUA around the location and searching manual which takes a long time because using hashtag in instagram so have to open one by one.To solve the problem, there is a solution by creating an online booking application, where users can more easily find MUA. Make UP 4U application has a search feature that makes it easier for users to search for MUA on both empty date search and nearby location.Based on the results of the questionnaire, in the user section (tenant) 80% of respondents rated. For review feature reviews &ratings, 80% of respondents are rated well. For the search feature assessment, 60% of respondents rated well. For assessment of booking notification feature in the form of email 60% of respondents rated well. For a valuation of ease using the application 100% of respondents rated well. For the assessment of conformity with the needs, 100% of respondents value well.

Abstract

Robot manipulator is a technology that is widely used in all life applications. Because of the widespread use of robot manipulators, it is given robotics learning for students interested in robotics in Electrical Engineering courses. The price of the robot is relatively expensive and the existence of mathematical calculations become obstacles.This thesis is made to answer the above problem. This application is made with Unity engine with C # programming language. This application simulates the movement of robots either forward or inverse kinematic with the limits of DOF 2 and 3. A similar application that is a comparison is RoboAnalyzer.Based on the test results, the program 'FIK' has described the forward and inverse kinematik, mathematical formula calculation, simulator movement, and the resulting trace. For kinematic inverse results only show one result, whereas in the comparison program display the possibility of 2-4 answers.
