Abstract

School teachers and the parents often say the importance of learning mathematics that can make students / student elementary school (elementary school) can count without a calculator. Although the student / student had been told that, they still think that math is very difficult and not necessary to hold these lessons to any school level. This makes the student / student always assume that things are difficult does not need to exist and refurbished.In making this application is done prior research interest in learning the students / student elementary school in math, so that the expected results can help students' learning motivation / elementary school. Manufacture of their objects more emphasis to entice young children to learn and play. Giving collision feature aims to allow users to switch pages one page to another. The use of smartphones with Android OS (Operating System) aims to facilitate the student / student can play and learn while they are playing smartphone.The results in this application, any object found on each page have made the learning interest of the students / student elementary school is more increased than before. Barriers time of making a major factor, so it can not make every page more detail. Disadvantages of this application, requires specification of the smartphone that is high enough to be able to run applications MathVenture well. This is because the design of each page makes heavy use more memory.

Abstract

Advancement in technology helps the development of hobbies such as listening to music and playing games, but in reality, both hobbies done simultaneously is rarely met, because of that, a program was developed to help in combining both hobbies into one activity with the help of Unity game engine while using widely known OGG audio file format to generate a level for a platforming game.Genetic algorithm was used as a method to deliver a process of developing level with hopes that the level structure matches the difficulty chosen by user, while also reducing the probability of a same level appearing twice, increasing game repetitiveness and minimalizing bore level.Penggunaan Audio Spectrum dan Genetic Algorithm Untuk Obstacle Generation Game Platforming Berbasis Musik

Abstract

Pengguna BlackBerry di Indonesia menurut data terakhir yang dirilis oleh Reuters mencapai 7 juta pengguna yang menandakan bahwa BlackBerry di Indonesia sangatlah populer dan dipakai oleh banyak orang. Alasan yang menyebabkan BlackBerry sangat populer di Indonesia karena kebutuhan masyarakat Indonesia yang membutuhkan chatting dan kebutuhan ini dipenuhi oleh ada layanan BlackBerry Messenger yang disediakan oleh BlackBerry. Seiring dengan majunya IT di Indonesia, maka juga semakin banyak orang yang memakai PowerPoint dalam menjelaskan presentasinya, pada awalnya dibutuhkan seorang operator untuk menjalankan slide presentasi dan yang seorang lagi menjelaskan, kemudian munculah sebuah remote control untuk menjalankan slide tersebut sehingga hanya membutuhkan 1 orang untuk melakukan presentasi. Tetapi membeli sebuah remote control hanya untuk menjalankan slide kuranglah efisien dan membuang biaya, oleh karena itu dibuatlah sebuah aplikasi untuk BlackBerry dimana aplikasi tersebut bertindak sebagai pengganti remote control tersebut.Aplikasi yang dikembangkan menggunakan berbasis Java dengan menggunakan BlackBerry Plug-In dan kemudian program di komputer dengan basis C#. Aplikasi yang di BlackBerry hanya berfungsi mengirimkan perintah yang nantinya akan diterima oleh program di komputer yang akan memproses perintah yang dikirimkan oleh BlackBerry dan menjalankan presentasi yang sedang berlangsung.Aplikasi ini dapat menggantikan fungsi remote control sehingga tidak perlu membeli lagi dan dapat menghemat biaya, serta karena pengguna BlackBerry di Indonesia banyak, jadi aplikasi ini dapat berguna bagi orang banyak.

Abstract

The advancement of technology today has helped the widespread of internet among ordinary people in the society. The promotion of various goods, service, and information could be done easily using the internet. Internet is also easily accessible and usable anywhere, as long as the network is available.Inspired by the concern of the students involved in the campus ministry, a community is formed to bring about a positive cultural change in Petra Christian University. The philosophy of the community is to be a community of a disciples of Jesus, concerned in world's problems, longing to bring God's transformation. The community is called "Discerning", derived from the word "discern", which means a sharp observation and understanding.This website is being developed as another mean to provide informations about the Discerning Journals to the larger society outside the university's community. One of the focus in the development of this website would be to provide an outlet for students to read and produce journals. Therefore the website is developed and designed according to achieve that goal.

Abstract

Saint Augustinus Senior High School (SMAK) is a excellent private high school in the Kediri municipality. SMAK currently has 837 students, divided in 24 classes with 40 teachers and 23 employees. This school continues to make progress from year to year with improved governance and activities that support the achievement of the vision and mission of the school. One way to do and made for improved governance is in integrating the data as needed, so that the school can make good decisions and correctly in achieving its vision and mission. By using a balanced scorecard, the school may conduct performance measurement is to help improve the quality of future later. Respondents in this analysis amounts to 80 students and 20 teachers and employees. The method adopted is preparing questionnaires, distributing questionnaires, analyze the results of the questionnaire, and make decisions. Research performance measurement is based on four perspectives of the balanced scorecard.

Abstract

Currently, PT. HC records information in Microsoft Excel and physical documents for running business processes. PT. HC has several branches spread across several regions in Indonesia, with the business process of selling products, ordering raw materials and stock storage. Without using information system, accurate and speed in processing and receiving of information at PT. HC and branch are also less good and require a longer time.This application has several main features including sales order, purchase order, warehouse stock recordings, reorder point calculation, invoice payment and generate sales turnover, purchase and stock turnover. This application is made using the programming language HTML, PHP, Javascript and MySQL database. App interface created using Gentellela template with Bootstrap.The final result of the development of this application is able to integrate company information such as sales order records,  purchase orders, invoices, warehouse stock, delivery orders and reports. Users form the center of PT. HC can view sales reports, raw material purchases and stock reports owned by the branch. Users can also receive remainder of some information such as stock that exceeds the minimum stock limit and invoices that exceed the due date through notification in accordance with their respective permissions.

Abstract

than SQL is the general idea of this Hadoop implementation. The advancement of technology generates growing amount of data and demands a new method to process the big data. The performance of this hadoop implementation was also compared with that of SQL to prove hadoop’s novelty in processing big data. Moreover different hadoop’s implementations – such as various number of nodes, use of a combiner, and use of different block sizes – were evaluated.Hadoop was implemented for five queries (or problems) in processing the library circulation data. Those five problems are finding the numbers of borrowing transactions categorized by the audio-video types, collection types, titles, locations, and users’ departments.Some conclusions can be drawn based on the hadoop mapreduce implementation. Hadoop’s performance tops SQL’s when large data are being processed. The more the number of computer nodes, the faster the mapreduce application is to complete its execution. Use of a combiner can speed up the application’s execution. The arrangement with full data blocks can give better execution time than that with non-full data blocks does. In this hadoop implementation, the execution time using the block size of 128 MB is smaller than that of 28 MB and 512 MB.

Abstract

Lombok is a beautiful and interesting place to visit, but due to lack of local interest and attention, now Lombok becomes less advanced, but when compared to other places in Indonesia, Lombok so is beautiful. This app will help tourists who want to travel on the island of Lombok, and also very much information can diperoleh of the features of this application, such as when wistawan want to see the beautiful scenery but do not know the road to get there, it will be guided by the route features in this app , and also when it runs out of money, gasoline and others, there is a nearby feature that can show the user the nearest position now and which should go. Users can plan a trip with because it has a feature where users can plan their trips themselves. Having a nearby feature where the ad shows seeking atm / rental car and gas station nearby which can make the user become quiet and a lot of information about the surrounding area. Users can find the desired location with ease for their routes in the specified so that it can follow the route that and get to the goal

Abstract

The development of video games today have been growing rapidly. The latest technology, allows users to feel like in the virtual world of a video game. Simulation Game is one genre that can teach something to the user. Simulation Games like driving simulator can be used as a training tool before encountering a real condition with real vehicles.This thesis will generate a 3-dimensional application that can simulate practice exams for four-wheeled vehicles. The development of the application is using Unity Engine program with C# programming language. Logitech G27 Steering Wheel is used as the controller.The test results showed that the steering wheel device can generate output in accordance with steering control on the car. In this thesis, the test results indicate that the materials of practice test are made in 3-dimensional view is look alike reality with the practice of the real exam. This application also can be done by  using the device steering wheel to steer the car in a virtual world.

Abstract

Toko Simpati Bersama adalah toko yang menjual berbagai macam kebutuhan pokok. Pada saat ini sistem yang digunakan masih manual sehingga menyulitkan pemilik toko untuk mengetahui keuntungan atau kerugian toko.Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan itu, dikembangkan sistem informasi administrasi untuk toko tersebut. Sistem yang dikembangkan adalah sistem pembelian, penjualan, retur, pencatatan stok, dan menampilkan laporan setiap bulannya. Pembuatan aplikasi ini menggunakan Visual Basic 2005 sebagai bahasa pemograman dan SQL Server 2005 sebagai databasenya.Hasil yang diperoleh dari aplikasi yang telah dibuat antara lain, sistem informasi adminstrasi yang dapat membuat dan menampilkan berbagai macam laporan. Laporan ini berguna untuk membantu melihat transaksi-transaksi yang terjadi dalam periode tertentu. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan, 60% pengguna menyatakan fitur-fitur dalam aplikasi yang dibuat dinilai bagus dalam menjawab kebutuhan dari toko, sedangkan sisanya 40% menilai cukup. Secara keseluruhan aplikasi ini sudah baik.
