Abstract

The manual water meter inspection procedure that is still being implemented to date has several disadvantages, one of which is error or fraud, both from the inspector (PDAM), and the water meter user who can manipulate the water meter. This is what triggers the creation of an Android-based mobile application equipped with Arduino and its components to be able to monitor water meters, which reflects the amount of water usage. Arduino devices and TCRT5000 sensors are installed on Itron Cyble water meters. The TCRT5000 sensor will work to calculate the number of rounds of measuring needles on the Itron Cyble water meter, and the calculation results from the sensors will be forwarded to the mobile application via the internet network. From the use of the application, the results can be shown the total water consumption of each water meter (multi-tenant) with the form of graph data presentation, and real-time on the mobile application. So, monitoring water consumption can be done through a mobile application.

Abstract

Feature extraction is an important topic in the classification. Well detected features will be able to increase the level of accuracy for the recognition of an object. Javanese language is a language that is often used by people on the island of Java, Indonesia. Feature extraction of Javanese letter has its own difficulty level for Javanese letter consists of many types of letters and combinations. In this paper, developed an application that can extract a handwritten Javanese letter features.The process is carried out as follows: image that has been previously segmented, skeleton by using the method of Zhang Suen. The results of this skeletonizing will be used to extract image features, which consists of loops, straight lines and curves arch. Loop detection using flood-fill algorithm, line detection using Hough Transform and curve detection using Hough Transform with curve detection algorithm.The input is Javanese letters image that has been segmented previously. The output is the type and number of features that are recognized and can be saved in .csv format. This application is made to the programming language C# with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 as the IDE.

Abstract

X Store is a company in Salatiga which their focus on selling computer accessories. In doing their business process, all sales is recorded in store/offline. After their company close, there is no sales after. Because they don’t have any online system. The other way to do sales, they use BBM, whatsapp, and email to contact selling department. The problems encountered, that selling department got hardly to maintain one by one phone call. Based on this background, application is designed to overcome the problems.Application was build based on website that can accessed by customer to do transaction by their phone or computer. This website help customer to do transaction such as choosing item, payment, packaging, and delivery their item. Lastly, confirmation transaction e-mail for customer. The website was build  using PHP as the programming language and MySQL databases.Overall this website meets the company requirements and help customer to do transaction. This proven by 80% is satisfied with the website and 60% is quite satisfied with the completeness information.

Abstract

Gold Inn Hotel, located in the city of Sampit, Central Kalimantan, was established on July 27, 2007. Nowadays many new hotels are popping up in the city of Sampit, making the competition in the hospitality business more and more tight. Therefore all hotels are racing to provide the best services in order to become the main choice of potential customers. All Gold Inn Hotel's competitors still use the phone to place orders. Staying guests should use the phone to make all reservations. Frequently, it takes a long time for the guest to place an order. In addition, morning call requests and taxi orders to the airport are often misplaced and not executed because they are still done manually (generally using paper).Mobile Device Application for Guest Services at Gold Inn Hotel, Sampit is aimed to assist hotel guests in making reservations, so as to improve services at Gold Inn Hotel.

Abstract

Penggunaan smartphone dari tahun ke tahun mengalami peningkatan yang sangat pesat. Smartphone dengan system operasi Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone, IOS, dan beberapa system operasi lainya berkembang dengan pesat dan banyak orang yang sudah dapat menggunakan smartphone tersebut. Perkembangan ini dapat dimanfaatkan juga dalam dunia kerja seperti untuk pekerjaan memasarkan barang. Dengan membuat aplikasi pada smartphone maka pekerjaan yang biasanya membutuhkan catatan-catatan dapat dimasukan ke dalam smartphone sehingga menjadi lebih praktis. Seperti daftar barang, nota pemesanan, dan data customer dapat dimasukan ke dalam smartphone dan dapat diakses oleh sales yang membawa smartphone.Aplikasi yang dikembangkan menggunakan PhoneGap yang dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman HTML 5, Javascript, dan CSS. Untuk komunikasi data antara device dengan data pusat perusahaan menggunakan JSON. Untuk bagian server tidak memiliki tampilan sama sekali karena hanya berfungsi untuk menghubungkan device dengan data perusahaan.Aplikasi ini dapat memberi kemudahan kepada sales untuk dapat melakukan penjualan pada customer. Sales dapat dengan mudah mendapatkan data barang yang akan dijual, sales juga dapat mengenal customer dengan lebih baik, dan juga sales juga akan lebih terbantu dengan adanya fitur upload data transaksi yang dapat memudahkan sales untuk dapat mengumpulkan data pemesanan yang telah dibuat sebelumnya tanpa antri pada kantor perusahaan.

Abstract

The development and competition at the University in Indonesia is very strict. Petra Christian University is the University’s long-standing and well known to many people in Indonesia. Matriculant also want to know about condition and facilities inside of the University. Difficulties that exist in the prospective student who resides outside the island, because it will be spent much accomodation cost to visit the University. This program is expected to help to see Petra Christian University in virtual map.In the making of program, have some research about position and shape each object in the building. It’s expected virtual map can be realistic enough. 3d object has been make with AutoCad program for the precision in size. After that, 3dsMax support for give some material in object. It also give some collision, so when user walk around in the bulding it will not be outside from the building.The result from this program is every object shape and position close enough. Time constraints become a major problem from making this program, so some of the details can’t be complete. All of the laboratorium in the 2nd floor already done, but the main stairway in P building 2nd floor and the other minor object haven’t done yet.lack of this program is must use high specification of computer. Because the result from this program is too big and need high recommendation.

Abstract

Toko Sumber Mulia is a commercial enterprise engaged in the sale of daily necessities (groceries) located at Jl. Iskandar Pertokoan Blok 10 no.2 Sampit - Central Kalimantan. The trading business requires administrative information systems that can be expected to process administrative records and stock will be easier to do and can saving time. The use of the web on the information system to function so that the owner can control the shop with ease even though you are not in the store by using a personal computer.This application is made by using PHP and MySQL Server as the database storage system. The method used in the calculation of cost of sales is by using the FIFO (First In First Out).From the results of testing of applications, indicates that the application can process data directly related to the process of buying and selling automatically. Sales report, purchase report, stock reports and income statement can be done quickly.

Abstract

Currently, most of the management systems for church services are still manuals using paper or using social media. This can be one of the causes of paperlessness and when providing information related to services through social media such as BBM, Whatsapp, and Line often the concerned church officer  forgets the scheduled task beforehand. This app is made based on mobile apps because now the use of the smartphone has become one of the needs for its users. This supports the use of applications that are easy to access by the church officer because it is in the smartphone used in daily life.Given the notification on the application can make it easier for church officials to know information related to church service activities and this application can help the church service management system more regularly because it has been incorporated in an application that utilizes android technology based mobile apps.

Abstract

PT.Z is a well-known producer and manufacturer of paint in Indonesia with years of experience in paint industry which produce many varieties of paint such as Decorative Coating (water and solvent based), automotive coating, Industrial Coating and Heavy Duty Coating. PT.Z has several subsidiaries all over Indonesia to elevate its product distribution. In the business process, PT.Z applies Information System to support and enhance the overall business. But, the current Information System applied is not subtle and disintegrated. Thus, it is a must for PT.Z to plan and create Enterprise Architecture with the method of Enterprise Architecture Planning. The process begins with doing analytical research of business model and Company’s business process.  Afterwards, there will be analysis for Information Technology applied in PT.Z and the possible future problems regarding the Information Technology. The next step is to make the data architecture design, architecture application and architecture technology which comprehensive and suitable for the business purposes, strategies and business process. The result of Data Architecture Design, Application and the technology contains of eight sub information system, main application, supporting application and the use of Client/Server Architecture Pattern and Service Oriented Architecture.

Abstract

Indonesia is country with rich culture. Since October 2nd 2009 batik has been officially recognized by UNESCO as Indonesia’s authentic cultural heritage. In addition to its unique patterns, batik has a deep philosophical significance. However there is no application that can introduce many kinds of batik to the society. This application is expected to address that issue.This application uses gray-level cooccurrence matrix to extract texture features from an image of batik. The texture features extracted from a number of batik images create a dataset which can be used to create a decision tree. The decision made by the decision tree is the isen presented in batik image.Test results of batik tulis recognition is maximum accuracy of 47.62%, which is considered low. The reason for that is supposedly the lack of texture patterns in batik tulis.
