Abstract

CV. X is a company in Surabaya which distributes stationeries and plastic roofing sheets. In doing their business process, all sales and consignment transactions is recorded in a software, but this software is not compatible for CV. X. The problems encountered are non-flexible consignment report, VAT not showing, and price differentiation between transfer-in and transfer-out. Based on this background, a structural accounting information system is designed to overcome the problems.The results obtained from the system are master recording for suppliers, customers, salespersons, and goods data. Transactions include purchases, purchase returns, sales, sales returns, and consignment. All transactions have been integrated with inventory stock card and the journal. This application also generates financial statement such as income statement, owner’s equity statement, and balance sheet. The system was build using PHP as the programming language and MySQL database.Overall this application meets the company requirements. This is proven by 100% user is quite satisfied with the completeness of information and 67% user is satisfied with the reports.

Abstract

Payment system at the toll gate has been improved, from using physical money replace with e-money. The system needs to which class types of the vehicle entering the toll gate so the system can know how much will it take from the e-money. There are five class types of vehicles, but there are still many toll gates that have high limit to limit the class of vehicles that can enter, making it difficult for class types other than the first class type because they only have a few gates. This research uses You Only Look Once and Convolutional Neural Network as its methods. You Only Look Once is used to detect the location of the vehicle in the image. Convolutional Neural Network is used to classify the class types of the vehicle in the image. For convolutional neural network model, one well-known model is VGG16 which is good in classifying images. The result of this research that will be displayed is the classified of the class type of the vehicle in the form of strings. The result from tests that were done is an accuracy of 93.5% and f-score of 81.37% from self-configuration convolutional neural network and an accuracy of 90.76% and f-score of 73.53% for VGG16 model.

Abstract

Physics is one of the science subjects which learns about natural phenomena in our surroundings. One of the topics learnt in physics is Electric Circuit. Many people nowadays lack the understanding of the theories, calculation formulae, and practices of the electric circuit. Even though the electric circuit is indispensable and one of the physics topics that is used in everyday’s life. People are often not interested in learning theories and formulae from the book, while the electric circuit's practices require components and supporting substances. This leads to a new matter because sometimes there are substances that are too hard to find and get.This manuscript discusses the development of an Android-based application for learning simple electric circuits. Android is chosen because it is one of the smartphone's operating systems that is aggresively growing. This application employs a drag and drop method, which consists of dragging the desired object and dropping it at a particular position. The application was developed using Java programming language, Eclipse, and MySQL as its database.Based on the system testing that has been done, the developed application allows a user to login to the system, register him/herself, display simple electric circuit materials, display simulation that will be useful for the user in designing a simple electric circuit with its specified components and the calculation, try quizzes to test his/her knowledge, display user's scores, and update materials and quizzes. This application needs internet connection to register, login, display images, and update data.

Abstract

A diet is a healthy lifestyle that helps people control their eating habits with losing weight as the main goal. As time goes on, diet has also been developed into various types and each type of diet even has specific goals for people certain allergies or diseases. However, often people are less able to apply a good and correct diet because they do not know what type of diet is suitable and how to set the right food menu.To help people go on a diet, an application is made that can adjust the diet food menu according to the person's condition based on the profile data entered into the application. The method used in creating the diet menu is Genetic Algorithm. This diet application was created and developed for smartphone. The results of the application will provide a food menu arrangement for a week in accordance with user profile data.The test results show that the factors that influence the length of time running the Genetic Algorithm process are the number of epochs and the number of population used. The greater the number of epochs or the amount of population used, the longer the running time duration of the Genetic Algorithm process.

Abstract

Technology continues to grow from time to time. One of those technologies that still growing are web-socket and EaseIJS. Many people use these technologies to help website notification process. Those notifications are needed so that user can find out the latest news from a certain website. EaselJS is also one of the technologies that emerges in the field of canvas design.This website contains car sales that allows users to sell their cars throughout Indonesia without opening a physical showroom, as well as advertising in various places. The website provides complete information about the car being sold, from the interior and exterior.Based on test results, this website can run WebSocket function to provide latest ad, and EaselJS to edit the car’s interior pictures that will greatly help the guest to see the interior of a car in an image that has been edited.

Abstract

In the era of globalization today, science and technology is developing very fast, particularly in entertainment media, specifically in the gaming world. Today, games are not only used as an entertainment, but also can be used as an alternative in the world of work, education, and even sports. In the world of gaming, artificial intelligence, or AI is a factor that cannot be separated. With the right methods and the specific rules of the AI can walk like a human being doing a job. So it is not only in the gaming world alone, AI can also be used in other fields that require AI computing systems for example in  technological development.The system is using Unity5 program with the programming language C#, with AI rule base and fuzzy used, the AI expected to have enough ability to be an opponent for players who use this application.Based on testing that has been done, these applications can run smoothly, AI can run and can follow rules of the game and follow the mindset that have been established. But the way of thinking AI still fairly few and need to be developed more.

Abstract

Nowadays, having a network monitoring is becoming an important thing for a growing or big company which should also have a network infrastructure inside it. Network monitoring is the use of a system that constantly monitors a computer network for slow or failing components and that notifies the network administrator in case of outages.Acknowledge Proactive Monitoring (APM), one of the sub-departments in Acknowledge, focuses on developing a network monitoring system using Nagios tool. However, one of its main feature called Map Visualization is not really efficient in terms of its map management. The current stable version of the system is called APMv2 and the team is developing a new version called APMv3 which needs a better Map Visualization.The application made in this project was a proof of concept that will later be used on APMv3. It is a web-based application which has a separate frontend written in HTML and JavaScript, a separate RESTful backend written in PHP, and uses some frameworks such as jQuery UI, jCanvas, Twitter Typeahead, and Bootstrap 3. All necessary data within this application are exchanged asynchronously using AJAX. NOTE: The paper had been withdrawn and the revised version published in JIRAE.

Abstract

Integrated information system is needed on running a business process. The problem nowadays is there is no information system yet capable of support faster business processes. By using the development of technology, information system can process data which can easily manage business process at company. Nowadays, there are companies that are not using the technology optimally.To solve the problems, Beauty Store needs implementation of integrated information system by mobile is needed. By using the technology, can help in increasing of speed and accuracy when make a transaction. Information system of website and point of sales application can record any transaction of purchasing, selling, return and inventory by detail, so it can be practical and easy to use for transaction. From the analysis of questionnaire and system test, 76% of the respondent stated that the website and point of sales application can easily help to manage data of sales, purchasing, return and inventory, and the rest stated not that easy to help manage transaction data.

Abstract

The development and growth of Hospital X is getting bigger and bigger, and has information system in running their operational activities. Hospital X itself has a server to support its activities, especially the administration system which contains data about their patients. With the availability of the network at the Hospital X, either through Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable, therefore it should be noted the bonds between networks and servers. Furthermore it is an important need nowadays to help minimize and anticipate the hacking crimes of the existing servers. One of the things that can be done is to monitor the administration and conduct vulnerability testing.Based on the background of the problem, it is necessary to evaluate server and network security using the vulnerability / penetration testing. In addition, this study also uses the guidelines of the CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), Acunetix, and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) modules. The testing of this thesis aims to find weaknesses in the administration system at Hospital X. Some problems were discovered after testing, which each of the weaknesses has different handling or treatment, physical security server weak, and unused opened ports that should not be open.The solution offered to solve these problems, are: the use of Acunetix and CISSP as a standard network security as the solution to anticipate weaknesses, to perform maintenance on a regular basis for the hardware, software, and network, to filter the existing port, to increase the level of security of the server, and to test security regularly and periodically, either through consultation with the related field experts or using a guide (like Acunetix, CEH, and CISSP).

Abstract

In this Presence activity it is still done manually and still uses paper for the Presence system, and there are still many cheats in the Presence process. There are several studies that have used the Yii Framework for the Presence system but in that study it was still less successful in overcoming the problem well and the lack of features that prevented fraud in the presence. This research was made by conducting a literature study on previous research studies aimed at learning in the framework and learning about the presence system, then an analysis of the old system, problem analysis and needs analysis will be made and a website for the presence system with QRCode using the framework yii , and the system will be tested whether the system is suitable for use. The results obtained from this application are students can attend online using QRCode and check according to the location of the student and the time at the time of attendance.
