Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze to develop in understanding English vocabulary by using flashcard media in students elementary school. This research was conducted at primary students in boarding school. The subjects were students of the third class with fourtee students. The research method was classroom action research using by model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart with four stages which including planning, action, observation, and reflection. Techniques of analysis the data collection through the results of monitoring action, analysis of learning activities, field notes and evaluative tests, as well as data collection by using documentation/photos taken during the learning process. Results obtained the understanding of vocabulary in the first cycle was 52.5%, and the second cycle was 80.0%. The average percentage of data monitoring the first cycle was 77.5% and the second cycle was 96.2%. Therefore learning by using flashcard media can improve their understanding of English vocabulary. The implication of this research is through flashcard media in learning English can motivated to students to improve the understanding of vocabulary in third grade students of elementary schooll in boarding school.

Abstract

This research goals is to given the descriptive brief about the form of interaction that applied between social agents, especially the senior and junior in High School (SMA). The research itself told about the transmition of bullying culture that happen in some High School in Jakarta, which done by seniors to their juniors. Also, this research will happen to know how the effectiveness of social crime prevention which applied by family agents as a primary social agent that should prevent any form of violence at school.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of the policy of inclusive education programs. Research using qualitative, evaluative and descriptive models based on Stake. The results showed that the input (antecedents) states that the implementation of inclusive education programs at both schools is not optimal in accordance with the guidelines for the implementation of inclusive education. Process (transcations) First, the lesson plan, due to the lack of identification and assessment at the time of admission of learners new learners, then it affects the planning of lessons to children with special needs. Second, the learning process, children with special needs that exist in every class together to learn with children in general. Third, assessment or evaluation of learning, not demanding graduation competency to children with special needs. The results (outcomes) First, the academic assessment for children with special needs are not prosecuted together with children in general. Second, the social skills of children with special needs children in general, peers. Based on the results of this research can be concluded that the implementation of policies on inclusive education program still needs improvement efforts both on the evaluation of the input (antecedents), process (transcations) and results (outcomes).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of applying the flipped classroom model to students’ learning outcomes in oxidation-reduction reactions. It was conducted in SMAN 47 Jakarta. Research method is quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 72 students were taken with purposive sampling. Independent variables are the flipped classroom model and direct instructional. Chemistry learning outcome became a dependent variable. The flipped classroom model is invers of the traditional learning model. Students learn the instructional material at home through videos and discussions in class. Analysis of the requirement’s test showed that the data were normally distributed and had homogeneous variances. Hypothesis testing showed different results in a significant level of 0.05. The differences of average value between pretest and posttest of the experimental group is 12.50. While the differences in the control group was 7.17. It can be concluded that the difference of average value between pretest and posttest of the experimental group is higher than the control group. The flipped classroom model can improve students’ learning outcomes in the oxidation-reduction reaction.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to acquire deep understanding of the developing syllabus of Arabic language’s productive competence based on content language integrated learning at Arabic language teaching department. Focus of this research is: the model of syllabus of Arabic language productive competence. This research was conducted from July 2015 until February 2016 .The research method used in this study is a research development with a qualitative approach to content. The approach used in analyzing the analysis of students need. The research instrument is the researcher herself who is equipped with table analysis. The result showed that Based on an analysis of documents of syllabus productive skills that are currently used in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, State University of Jakarta focusing on the themes that have been determined for each meeting. How syllabus like this had not yet shown the achievements of the expected learning, so that the study sought to develop a syllabus based on the needs of learners with the approach of the syllabus-based CLIL (Content Language Integrated Learning).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture, work motivation, and organizational commitment to the performance of principals of elementary school in Samarinda. The results of the study findings that: (1) Organizational cultures have directly positive effect to the performance of principals, (2) Work motivation have directly positive effect to the performance of principals, (3) Organizational commitment have directly positive effect to the performance of principals, (4) Organizational culture have directly positive effect to the organizational commitment, (5) Work motivation have directly positive effect to the organizational commitment. This research was carried out in the environment of Samarinda Government that involving 60 principals of elementary school in Samarinda as the study samples. The determination of study samples was done by using random sampling. The data collection using instrument with a Likert scale of measurement consist of 5 answer options and the data analysis using path analysis technique. Based on the study, organizational culture, work motivation, and organizational commitment have directly positive effect to the performance of principals. Therefore the variables of the study are recommended to the Government of Samarinda to increase the performance of elementary school in Samarinda. Abstract

Charismatic leadership involves determination, authority, openness, and the optimism of the leaders in Bengkulu City HarsallakumPesantern (Pesantren = Islamic Boarding School). This research uses descriptive method, as well as qualitative case study. The processing of data is done by data reduction, serving of the next, as well as doing the valid checking using triangulation technic, followed by concluding the findings. The result of the research, has swon that the leadership of Pesantren leaders has been a model for the people around. Being an example or a role model has created a harmonic relationship between Santri (cultural 'stream' of people within the population of Javanese who practice a more orthodox version of Islam) with the Usthad (Islamic leader). The prestige of the Pesantren leaders has created an awareness for their subordinates, that to accept, prestige has to rise from the bottom going upwards. The openness of the Pesantren leaders acts truthfully, humble, just, as well as open in accepting opinions and critics from others. The openness of Pesantren leader shows the clearliness in taking decisions, planning process that gives a chance to all subordinates. Optimism of the Pesantren leaders are behaviors that is born or created inside of the leaders in perceiving their problem, facing hardship, and thinking optimistic. Abstract

The objective of this study was to find out the influence of transformational leadership and work culture on lecturer’s performance of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. This study used quantitative approach, survey method and path analysis. The data was taken from 204 lecturers and 29 heads of study program became the sample in this study. The result of the study found that (1) transformational leadership gave direct positive influence on the performance; (2) work culture gave direct positive influnce on lecturer’s performance; and (3) transformational leadership gave direct positive influnce on work culture. Form the research has been conducted, it could be concluded there must be the improvement of transformational leadership and work culture to improve the lecturer’s performance of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a positive direct independent variables such as: person-organization fit, job satisfaction and trust in the dependent variable is the affective commitment high schools’ teachers in Depok. Studies have been conducted on senior high school teachers in Depok. The method used was a survey with data analysis techniques using path analysis. Respondents are 194 of the total 376 senior high schools’ teachers in Depok. They were selected by random sampling. The results of the study are as follows: (1) there was a direct effect of person-organization fit toward affective commitment, (2) there was a direct effect of job satisfaction toward affective commitment, (3) there was a direct effect of trust toward affective commitment, (4) there was a direct effect of person-organization fit toward job satisfaction, (5) there was a direct effect of person-organization fit toward trust. the conclusion is that the affective commitment is influenced by the person-organization fit, job satisfaction and trust. Abstract

The aims of this research was to know how far program of football athlete development was effectively successful, how was situation of sport school, whether input is complete supporting this program, whether outputs of this program produced properly without challenge and whether outcomes of this program regenerated correctly without matter, To evaluate this program properly and intensively, so it was used logic model program which consists of situation of sport school, input of this program, outputs of this program and outcomes of this program. Methodology of this research used technique of collecting data by observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentations study. Analysis of collecting data use triangulation technique which gotten by data resources, namely; organizer/coach and staff of sport school, the athlete, athlete’s parents, and society. The results of this research was found and can be concluded that situation of sport school, input and outputs of this program have been being done fairly well, whereas outcomes of this program have been extended impact very well.
