Abstract

The purpose of this study discover the relationship between hand’s fine motoric skill coordination in batik towards writing skill. The study has been finally conducted at the primary school Tunas Muda Ikatan Kesejahteraan Keluarga TNI Pragati Wira Anggini Palmerah, Jakarta Barat. Series of tests as an instruments measured of complete datas on batik’ing capability, fine motoric skill coordination as well as writing skill capability. Above findings in Correlation Coefficient at the Batik ability and hand’s fine motoric skill coordination’s Variables; summarized that if given stimulation as well as an extra ordinary induced exercise would automatically contribute the related writing skill capability of 6 - 8 years old primary school students.Keywords: motoric, skill, writing, batik

Abstract

Growth and physical development have an important role in the lives of children.Growth and physical development is one of the major developmental tasks in the life of a child. Growth and physical development will affect the development and growth of children in other developmental dimensions. Parents and teachers really need to understand the growth and physical development of children, and instill healthy habits through physical activity of children from an early age.To help the physical development of children, teachers and parents need to provide guidance to them in order to have the awareness of sensory abilities, and also have a positive attitude towards him. Parents and teachers also need to understand the signs of developmental delays in children, parents and teachers need to be cautious in view of delays in child development and should consult with your doctor to make sure and give the child needed help, so that children can grow physically and develop optimally.Keywords: physical development, early childhood

Abstract

The objective of this research and development is to develop a model of science learning program through play activities of children in kindergarten. The research was conducted in DKI Jakarta, by conducting surveys on five kindergartens as the sample during the pre-develompment phase, and a kindergarten at East Jakarta was purposely chosen for implementation phase of field-testing. Research conclussions: (1) the developed model of learning science through play is effective when implementing in kindergarten, (2) the model is developed based on the crossed study of literature and survey which mainly showed that science learning program at kindergarten were dominantly lean on the theacher’s knowledge in science, that is infact most teacher realized that their science knowledge were minimum. (3) the structure the model of science learning through play developed, includes; description of themes, learning competences and indicators, learning objectives focused on science process skills and attitude, conceptual web of play, description of esentials science material for teacher, the scenario of learning activities and evaluation.Keywords: model of science learning through play, science process, esentials sciences material

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out empirically the influence of learning method and response capabilities Solfejio music.Solfejio capacity is a form of music practice which includes (is composed of): Sight Reading, Sight Singing, Ear Training, Sight Playing or Prima Vista. This research focuses on Sight Reading and Sight Singing for Grade II Primary Students. Abstract

The aims of this research are to know the upgrading of learning outcome in islamic study by use of mind method and are there any increase of grade first class elementary student capalibity of learning outcome in islamic studi after giving the learning outcome in islamic study by use of mind map method. 24 students of first class at Amaliah Elementary Ciawi-Bogor are the subject of this research. This research used action research method according to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart that consist of four step : 1) plan, 2) action, 3) observation and 4) reflection. The data was collected by filed notes, interview, observation, test an documentation. The data was analyzed by outcome in islamic study by use om mind map method could increase capability of first class elementary students. Abstract

Age 0-6 years old is crucial age in the formation of character and intelligence of a child. Efforts to develop the full potential of early childhood should begin for the growth and development of children achieved optimally. Childhood is a very beautiful time to be remembered. The play is a dye of childhood a topic that is often told. Unfortunately, the plays unique traditional start children rarely played in this era and replaced with modern play equipment such as play station. Whereas traditional play is a means to develop childrens ability. Ancient traditional play is saying it should be celebrated and examined matters relating to education. Many of the play the people of Indonesia that the terms with the meaning of education of children toward logical thinking. Traditional play also can develop childrens intelligence and inculcate positive values. Organization of early childhood education requires the right approach to optimize the full potential of intelligence of children. There are many approaches in early childhood education, including through local cultural approach that is peoples play or traditional play, in addition, also as an effort to preserve it for not going extinct.Keywords: social intelligence, social development, traditional play

Abstract

This research aim to know about difficulties of the mild mentally impaired children in reading and the causes of reading difficulties. This research design is descriptive and qualitative case study. Based on data analysis result, research outcome shows that: (1) Difficulties of reading in a mentally mild impaired child include: Difficulties of pronouncement, fluency (repetitiveness), perception, concentration, concern, recollection, differentiation of recollecting word having been read and word or not yet having been read, differentiation of recollecting line having been read or not yet having been read, understanding, motorics (2) Causes of the reading difficulties in a mentally mild impaired child include a) physical causes: malfunction or anomaly of speech device, motoric obstacle. b). auses of Mentality and Psychology : inaccurateness if perception, inability for concentration, his or her recollection is less, differentiation in recollecting word having been read and word not yet having been read is vague, differentiation in recollecting the line having been read and not yet having been read is vague, emotional impediment, low intelligence.Keywords: teaching reading, early childhood, mild mentally impaired

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know: the learning process to increase the listening ability kindergarten student through storytelling based on folktales and change of listening ability after the implementation. 12 students of Nita kindergarten Maumere are the research subject. This research uses action research method according to Kemmis and Mc Taggart that consist of four steps: plan, action, observation, and reflection. Data collecting techniques uses field notes, interview, documentation, and observation. This research uses descriptive analysis. The result of the research describe that storytelling based on folktales gives impact for increasing listening ability of 4-5 years old. The result shows increase of 65,3% and the observation shows more than 75% students get good mark.Keywords: listening, storytelling

Abstract

The aim of this research are to know the reading learning process through Big Book and are there any increase of grade B Kindergarten student capability of early reading after giving reading activities through Big Book. 14 student of grade B at Prima School Kindergarten Bekasi are the subject of this research.This research used action research method according to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart that consist of four step: a) plan, b) action, c) observation, d) reflection. The data was collected by field notes, interview, documentation and observation. The data was analyzed by qualitative and quantitative method. The result of research shows that the reading through Big Book could increase early reading capability of grade B kindergarten student. Abstract

The aim of this research was to find whether Bilingual Education which was executed in 4 schools of BPK PENABUR Jakarta had affected a decline in the learning outcome of mathematics in those schools.   It was a quantitative research with an ex post facto approach conducted in SD Kristen 6 PENABUR Kelapa Gading - Jakarta. The school was chosen as the sample using a stratified sampling where the members then were divided into homogenous subgroups-boys and girls. In order to obtain the data for this research, some tests – bilingual test and mathematics tests - were prepared and assessed. The bilingual test itself consisted of 2 tests: English Test and Indonesian Language Test. The result revealed that (1) the boys’ mathematics’ scores were higher than the girls. (2) There was a significant collaboration between gender and bilingual ability towards mathematics’ score. (3) The boys with high bilingual ability had higher mathematics’ scores compared to the girls who had the same ability. (4) However for students who demonstrated weak bilingual ability, the girls showed higher score than the boys.Keywords: stratified sampling, bilingual ability, gender
