Abstract

Growth and physical development have an important role in the lives of children.Growth and physical development is one of the major developmental tasks in the life of a child. Growth and physical development will affect the development and growth of children in other developmental dimensions. Parents and teachers really need to understand the growth and physical development of children, and instill healthy habits through physical activity of children from an early age.To help the physical development of children, teachers and parents need to provide guidance to them in order to have the awareness of sensory abilities, and also have a positive attitude towards him. Parents and teachers also need to understand the signs of developmental delays in children, parents and teachers need to be cautious in view of delays in child development and should consult with your doctor to make sure and give the child needed help, so that children can grow physically and develop optimally.Keywords: physical development, early childhood

Abstract

Media are considered very important to meet the objectives to be achieved during the teaching and learning process. Media are used so that the students can enthusiastically participate in the learning process. However, due to the situation during this pandemic, all teaching and learning activities were carried out online. This research aims to determine students' interest in participating in the online way when given learning videos. This study used a pre-experimental quantitative method with one group pre-test post-test design. The results of this study have shown that there was an increase in the learning process when using learning videos. After giving the treatment, students eagerly want to know and were highly motivated in taking part in the learning process. Besidesm they were not bored when doing assignments given by the teacher. The increase in student learning that occurs is included in the moderate category, namely 0.42 based on the results of the normalized gain test (N-Gain). Based on the data analysis using a Gain test, the result is 0.41. The second class experienced an increase in participating in learning activities when given a learning video in the medium category. It is also said to be in the medium category because 0.7 g ≥ 0.3.  the, from the result of the questionnaire regarding the use of interesting and educational learning videos, the parents and students agreed to use instructional videos. It is because by using learning videos of sufficient time, students easily understand the material taught by the teacher. The conclusion obtained is that the application of using interesting instructional videos can increase children's interest in taking lessons during online learning. Keywords: Learning Media, Audio Visual Aid, Online Classes

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to understand and describe the roles of traditional games in facilitating children’s development. In this modern era, many parents and teachers as early childhood educators are not aware of the importance of traditional gamesto optimize the growth and development of early childhood. In fact, traditional games are a good and affordable means for children to grow and develop. In this paper, theresearchersattempted to discuss the roles of traditional Bugis games as a medium for early childhood growth and development.This research was qualitative in nature because the researchers wanted to produce descriptive data (written or spoken) about people and observable behaviors during the play that can help the growth and development of children.To collect the data, the researchers used several instruments, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data multiplication was carried out based on the characteristics of the instrument. The results showed that traditional South Sulawesi Bugis games, with or without equipment, act asmedia for children's physical, social-emotional, language and cognitive development. The games becomean important means for children to socialize,learn to become a society member, andlearn to respectthe society’s rules. In the game-and-play situations, children can alsodevelopmathematical abilities and reasoning. Keywords: Traditional Bugis Games, Development, Early Childhood

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of patterns or sleep schedules of students who are less organized so that it can interfere with their concentration in learning, besides that physical health can also decrease. Because sleep is a repetitive state, if people get enough sleep, they feel their energy has recovered. This shows sleep provides time for repair and healing of the body's systems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sleep patterns on student learning motivation. The approach used in this study is quantitative with survey research methods and with regression analysis techniques, with the hypothesis that there is no effect of sleep patterns on student motivation. The results showed that there was no significant effect on sleep patterns on student motivation in school. In the research results, the value of the regression direction coefficient is 0.047 and the constant value is 34.631. Also produced count = 0.584 with a significant value of 0.562> 0.05. While the 2.011 table value can be interpreted that 0.584 <2.011 then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected it can be concluded that there is no significant effect between the independent variable (x) and the dependent variable (y).

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi dengan kurangnya kepercayan diri  siswa sekolah dasar kelas IV SD Negeri Rawa Buntu 01 yang rasa percaya diri masih kurang saat kegiatan belajar mengajar dikelas. Model pembelajaran yang guru gunakan masih menggunakan model pembelajaran ceramah yang dimana siswa tidak ikut berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu peneliti memberikan inovasi dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Start With A Questions pada kepercayaan diri siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu apakah model pembelajaran Learning Start With A Questions dapat berpengaruh terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa di kelas IV SDN Rawa Buntu 01. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Dengan menerapkan true eksperimen pada desain penelitiannya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Learning Start With A Questions terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa di kelas IV SDN Rawa Buntu 01 hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari perbandingan perhitungan t hitung sebesar -10.521 dengan P-value sebesar 0,000. Dapat dilihat bahwa P-value = 0.000 < 0,05, maka terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara variabel X dan variabel Y. penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat kepada pihak pihak terkait yang dapat memanfaatkannya seperti kepala sekolah, guru, siswa serta peneliti selanjutnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya hasil belajar matematika siswa yang masih rendah dan berada dibawah kriteria ketuntasan minimal, sehingga penulis tergerak untuk meneliti apa penyebab kelemahan tersebut sambil mengajukan solusi dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran ARIAS. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan penggunaan model pembelajaran ARIAS dengan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas II SD Labschool FIP UMJ. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran ARIAS terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas II SD Labschool FIP UMJ. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan uji T diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 dengan taraf signifikan sebesar 0.05. Maka 0,00 < 0.05 sehingga Ha ditolak dan Ha diterima yang bearti terdapat perbedaan antara penggunaan model pembelajaran ARIAS dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat kepada pihak-pihak terkait yang dapat memanfaatkannya seperti kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua dan siswa serta peneliti selanjutnya.

Abstract

Media learning in the form of pictorial media can be utilized optimally to improve students’ speaking and writing skills. Speaking skill, as the first productive skill, is regarded as an oral spoken process for expressingthoughts and feelings, reflecting on experiences, and sharing information. On the other hand, as the second productive skill, writing refers to student’s skills in expressing ideas or messages through written form. This paper has objectives: 1). knowing students' speaking and writing skills; 2). utilizing pictorial media to improve students' speaking and writing skills. A descriptive qualitative research method is employed with 22 respondents from Grade 1 SDN Iwul 01 Parung, Bogor. The data are collected by observation, group discussions, interviews, and research instruments. The pictorial media are made in 2 shapes, namely the pictorial of the dots and the picture intact. The results of research: 1). Student speaking skills: the pictorial media are made in the form ofdots, 14 or 64% of students are correct in the names of animals and fruit plants; benefits of animals and fruit; where animals live and vitamins contained in the fruit. 2). Student writing skills: the pictorial media are made in the form of intact pictorials, 18 or 82% of students are correct in writing the names of animals and fruit plants; benefits of animals and fruit; where animals live and vitamins contained in the fruit. In conclusion, by utilizing the media, the learning process became more interesting, the subject matter was presented clearly. Keywords: learning media, pictorial media, speaking and writing skills

Abstract

The background of this research was due to the lack of people’s awareness to their environment. A report by Indonesian Central Statistics Agency in 2018 stated that the Indonesian Environmental Ignorance Behavior Index (IPKLH) in 2018 is 0.72. The number indicates a high level of ignorance on waste management. That being said, the character of environmental care in society is still low. Therefore, the researcher was moved to study the influence of knowledge issues and demographic factors on environmental care for elementary school students. A quantitative survey was utilized as a research methodology. In this study, 119 people were included as a sample. Of the questionnaire instrument for the character of environmental care, the researcher had adjusted to the life of elementary school students. The questionnaire instrument was then analyzed using SPSS version 22.0 with simple regression technique and multiple regression. The result showed that the significant value obtained by all variables is 0.001 or P 0.05. That being said, Ha wa accepted, and Ho was rejected, or it displays that there was an influence between each of them. The percentage obtained respectely is 4.4%  and 9.4%

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengajarkan nasionalisme sejak dini, yang dirasa perlu sebagai pengembangan sistem pendidikan nasional yang dapat membedakan perbedaan, khususnya di Sekolah Indonesia Singapura, yang terletak di negara Singapura. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, serta siswa kelas V pada sekolah dasar di Sekolah Indonesia Singapura. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai-nilai nasionalisme di Sekolah Indonesia Singapura sudah dapat berjalan dengan baik. Siswa dapat mengimplementasikan nilai nasionalisme yang terdiri atas 1) nilai toleransi, (2) nilai tanggung jawab, (3) nilai gotong royong, (4) nilai sopan santun, (5) nilai rela berkorban pada saat melaksanakan pembelajaran di sekolah. Untuk memaksimalkan implementasinya, sekolah menyediakan pembelajaran yang bermanfaat dengan kewarganegaraan Indonesia, kemudian mengadakan program ekstrakurikuler, serta memiliki program 5i.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan masalah minimnya ketertarikan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran karena kurangnya media pembelajaran dan kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap pemahaman pesan moral dalam materi fabel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media flipbook berbasis fabel untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pesan moral pada peserta didik kelas 3 SDN Krukut 01 Pagi dan mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) model Borg dan Gall dengan delapan tahapan pengembangan yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi awal, perencanaan, pengembangan format produk awal, uji (try out) kelayakan, try out  utama  lapangan, revisi akhir (produk). Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) validasi materi memperoleh persentase rata-rata 86% sedangkan media memperoleh 88,65% kategori sangat layak; 2) respons peserta didik secara keseluruhan 92,45% dengan kategori sangat layak; 3) efektivitas penggunaan media flipbook berbasis fabel untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pesan moral pada peserta didik kelas 3 SDN Krukut 01 Pagi secara keseluruhan memperoleh 0,7 dengan kategori sedang. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah media flipbook berbasis fabel untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pesan moral pada peserta didik kelas 3 SDN Krukut 01 Pagi dengan tautan kumpulan cerita fabel kelas 3 (fliphtml5.com) dinyatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
