Abstract

In 2020 the whole world experienced an outbreak, namely the Covid-19 pandemic which had an impact on various fields, one of which was in education. One of the effects is that students experience a lot of academic anxiety. Academic anxiety is widely felt by students who are affected by online schools and require them to stay at home and limit their space for movement, one of which is not being able to meet face to face with friends or teachers. One of the things that are planned to be able to reduce academic anxiety is by using stress coping techniques. Coping stress is an action or effort taken to overcome stress, which can be done both consciously and unconsciously. This study aims to produce a guidebook for providing stress coping techniques to reduce students' academic anxiety. The method used in this study is a research and development model. The subject of this research trial involved guidance and counseling experts;Education technologist;and school counselor. The instrument used is the student's academic anxiety scale,expert assessment instrument and counselor assessment instrument. Data from the assessment results of a BK expert, a TEP expert, and three school counselors in three different schools in Bojonegoro City indicate that the product developed is acceptable and feasible to use to reduce students' academic anxiety.

Abstract

Resilience is an individual's quality to rise and adapt to social change. Gender is one of the inconsistent resilience factors, so it needs to be tested. This study aims to prove the difference in resilience between male studens with female students. The research method used a comparative study of 188 male students and 188 female students from SMA, SMK, or MA in the city of Surabaya. The results of the ANOVA test showed that there was a significant difference between male and female resilience. Descriptive test shows women are superior in resilience scores than men. How to resolve and deal with change is the main indicator that makes the two groups have different resilience

Abstract

Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is a training method based on information and communication technology (ICT) that can accommodate training needs in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 because it is large-scale, open, and can be accesed online by anyone and anywhere. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Massive Open Online Course of the Family Life Planning for Teenagers 2021 at the Representative of the National Population and Family Planning Agency of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research is qualitative descriptive with a combination of document study, observation and interview methods. The effectiveness of the training is known through evaluation using Kirkpatrick’s Four Level Evaluation Model. The results obtained are Participants giving a positive response to the training program, Facilitators and Organizers; Participants increased in knowledge, attitudes and skills; Participants showed changes in behavior between before and after training; and Participant’s behavior changes contribute to the organization. Thus it was concluded that overall the MOOC PKBR 2021 was declared effective, both in level 1 reaction, level 2 learning, level 3 behavior, and level 4 result

Abstract

Self-efficacy is one of the things that everyone must have whereas self-efficacy is the belief that someone has to determine a decision in an action. Self-efficacy is closely related to self-management where self-management is a person's ability to monitor one's own thoughts, feelings, and behavior to achieve goals. Students, even adults, sometimes have low confidence, making it difficult to manage themselves because some of them are lazy, marked by students who find it difficult to respond. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group counseling on students' self-efficacy and self-management. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research that later analyzes the data using the Wilcoxon test. The sample of this research was 10 students who were in class VIII. The results showed that there was a significant influence on self-efficacy and self-management after giving group counseling and changing behavior with a value of Zcount > Ztable, namely -2.818b ≤ 0.005, it was said that Ha was accepted. Thus self-efficacy and self-management of students can be improved through group counseling.

Abstract

To support the progress of vocational education in the 21st century, this study aims to analyze students' problem-solving abilities during fieldwork practice. The method used was a survey involving 362 students in classes XII and XIII of public vocational schools in Surabaya. This study uses an instrument that adopts the perspective of the six-thinking hat. The instrument consists of 20 statement items with answer options in the form of a linear scale and 1 item of answer options in the form of checkboxes. The results showed that the percentage of students' problem-solving ability was in the very high category of 6,4%, the high category of 28,5%, the medium category of 45,6%, the low category of 15,7%, and the very low category of 3,9%. This study also revealed that of the 8 skills required during the PKL, the "ability to analyze information carefully before communicating" had the highest percentage of 23,65% as the first choice of students to improve. The second choice is "the ability to speak in public and communicate with various parties," at 22,86%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve growth mindset with group counseling services to reduce students' academic procrastination. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one group pretest posttest research design. This research methodology uses quantitative methods.The results obtained were 6.45 > 2.365, which means that there is an effect of increasing the growth mindset with group counseling services to reduce academic procrastination for class VIIIC students at SMP NEGERI 1 SIKUR. so it can be concluded that "If group counseling services are provided by increasing the growth mindset, it can reduce the academic procrastination of class VIIIC students at SMPN 1 SIKUR"
