Abstract

Abstract             This study aims to determine whether psychoeducation psychological well being can reduce juvenile delinquency in terms of gender. This research is included in the type of experimental research. The design used is quasi experimental control group pretest-posttest design. Subjects in this study consisted of 20 people as an experimental group and 20 people as a control group. Data collection instruments use juvenile delinquency scales. Analysis of data using the non-parametric Wilcoxon Sign Rank obtained an average post test score of the experimental group was lower than the average post test score in the control group with a significance of p = 0.000 (p <0.05). This means that there is the influence of psychoeducation psychological well being on juvenile delinquency. Based on the Man Whitney U test test obtained Z = -1243 with p = 0214 (p> 0.05), which means there is no difference in the decrease in juvenile delinquency between men and women. Keywords: psychoeducation psychological well being, juvenile delinquency

Abstract

Abstract    This study aims to examine the effectiveness of NLP (Neuro Languistic Programming) training in increasing adolescent self-confidence. This study uses an experimental approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The research subjects were taken by purposive sampling technique with the condition of low self-confidence. The data collection technique used is the confidence scale. Data analysis techniques used in this study used the analysis of independent sample test using Mann-Whitney. The results of the study based on the Independent Sample Test analysis obtained t value of 6.439 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that the respondents' confidence varies significantly. So it is known that the mean of the experimental group is higher than the control group (36.04> 12.96). This shows that NLP (Neuro Languistic Programming) training is effective significantly to increase the confidence of adolescents who experience self-confidence barriers.                 Keywords: NLP training, self-confidence, education level

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling on increasing self-confidence in adolescent victims of domestic violence (domestic violence). The subjects in this study amounted to 5 teenagers consisting of 2 men and 3 women and joined in the 1 experimental group "One Group Pretest-Postes". The data collection tool used was the confidence scale, the data analysis method used was Wilcoxon signed ranks test. The results obtained by the significance value p = 0.042 (p <0.05) then the hypothesis is accepted and can mean that there is influence of group counseling on increasing self-confidence in adolescent victims of domestic violence.                Keywords: Group Counseling, Confidence

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the competence of lecturer according to students Of Psychology University of Brawijaya. This research uses qualitative survey method with explorative type. Sampling method using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this research is the student of psychology, University of Brawijaya generation 2014 totaling 107 students. Analytical techniques used are thematic analysis technique Boyatzis by using the Microsoft Excel program and R-Studio Package RQDA.Based on the results of the research competence of lecturer according to students of psychology. it can be concluded that the competence of the lecturers most needed by students in a row is the competence of personality 42.25%, the competence of social 24.95%, the competence of pedagogic 23.07% and the competence of professional 9.08%, which is shown based on the percentage of the highest to the lowest.Keywords: The competence of lecturers, Students of psychology

Abstract

Abstract The study aims to determine effect forgiveness and Fear of Crime toward Restorative Justice judgment. The study involved 110 subjects. Collecting data used Restorative Justice Scale, Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations Scale-18 (TRIM-18), and Fear of Crime scale. The results showed that there are significant effect of forgiveness and fear of crime simultaneously toward restorative justice. At the partial analysis show that forgiveness has  positive effect toward restorative justice, otherwise fear of crime has a negative influence toward restorative justice.Key word: forgeviness, fear of crime, restorative justice.   AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemaafan  dan ketakutan pada kejahatan terhadap penilaian keadilan restoratif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 110 subjek. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Skala Keadilan Restoratif, Motivasi Interpersonal Terkait-Motivasi Skala-18 (TRIM-18), dan Skala Takut pada  kejahatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada efek signifikan dari pemaafan dan ketakutan terhadap kejahatan secara bersamaan terhadap keadilan restoratif. Pada analisis parsial menunjukkan bahwa pengampunan memiliki efek positif terhadap keadilan restoratif, jika tidak takut kejahatan memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap keadilan restoratif. Kata Kunci: Pemaafan, Ketakutan pada kejahatan, keadilan restoratif

Abstract

Siswa MTs di Pondok Pesantren cenderung melakukan prokrastinasi akademik yaitu perilaku yang cenderung menunda-nunda untuk melakukan hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan tugas akademik. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut maka training motivasi dirancang untuk dapat menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa dan siswi MTs. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa dan siswi MTs di Pondok Pesantren X Yogyakarta yang diberi pelatihan  berupa training motivasi dengan menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan teknik Anava Mixed Design penelitian menunjukkan nilai p=0,356 (p>0,05) yang berarti tidak ada pengaruh Training Motivasi terhadap penurunan prokrastinasi akademik siswa MTs di Pondok Pesantren X, sehingga hipotesis tidak diterima.

Abstract

Self-esteem accorded a prominent role in the transition adolescence to adulthood. High self-esteem was associated with life satisfaction and predicts success and well-being in life domains. Otherwise, low self-esteem predicted depressive symptoms and as an indicator of various forms of internalizing and externalizing psychopathology. This study aimed to determine effectiveness the principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to increase self-esteem. This study uses single-subject research design. The participant of this study is a 13 years 8 months old girl who has low self-esteem. Self-esteem was measured by a Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI) from Coopersmith (1967), adolescent’s behavior was measured by Child Behavioral Checklist (CBCL), and supported by interview with adolescent and parent. This intervention consists of three stages, such as the pre-intervention that consists of one session, the intervention that consists of eight sessions, and the post-intervention that consist of one session. The result of this study indicates that CBT can increase self-esteem, especially in certain domains, such as school and general self. Meanwhile, adolescent’s behavior also changes, especially in thought problem aspect. However, other problem experienced by adolescent can be obstacle to effectiveness the principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to increase self-esteem.

Abstract

Abstract - Parents play an important role in sexual education for their children. The role also owned by parents who have children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). However, information about sexual education for children with ASD is limited. This condition caused parents feel confused about when and how to provide sexual education to their children who have ASD. This study aims to determine the level of parental knowledge about sexual education in children with ASD. The measuring instrument used in this study was a test of knowledge about sexual education in children with ASD. Respondents in this study involved 80 parents who had children with ASD in Surabaya. The results showed that 28% of respondents had a moderate level of knowledge regarding sexual education in children with ASD.  Nearly half or 48% of respondents have a good level of knowledge, and 15% of respondents have a lack of knowledge. Most parents have insufficient knowledge in terms of understanding sexuality, the stage of sexual development, and the topic of sexual education that is appropriate for the age of the children with ASD. Keywords: sexual education, parental knowledge, autism spectrum disorder Abstrak – Orangtua memegang peranan penting dalam pendidikan seksual bagi anaknya. Termasuk orangtua yang memiliki anak dengan gangguan spektrum autis (GSA). Akan tetapi, informasi tentang pendidikan seksual bagi anak dengan GSA ini terbatas. Kondisi tersebut mengakibatkan orangtua merasa bingung tentang kapan dan bagaimana memberikan pendidikan seksual pada anaknya yang memiliki GSA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan orangtua tentang pendidikan seksual pada anak GSA. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes pengetahuan tentang pendidikan seksual pada anak GSA. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 80 orangtua yang memiliki anak GSA di Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 28% responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang sedang mengenai pendidikan seksual pada anak dengan GSA. Hampir separuh atau 48% responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik, dan 15% responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang kurang. Sebagian besar orangtua memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang dalam aspek pengertian seksualitas, tahap perkembangan seksual, dan topik pendidikan seksual yang sesuai dengan usia anak GSA. Kata kunci: pendidikan seksual, pengetahuan orangtua, gangguan spektrum autis

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada efektivitas pelatihan regulasi emosi untuk menurunkan stress dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pada penderita diabetes mellitus tipe II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan bentuk rancangan pretest postest with control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat pengumpulan data berupa kuisioner kualitas hidup dan kuisioner stress yang disusun oleh peneliti. Pengukuran pretest dan posttest dilakukan terhadap kedua kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen untuk kemudian dilakukan perhitungan selisih skor pretest posttest. Selisih skor antara kedua kelompok kemudian dibandingkan. Tiap kelompok beranggotakan 6 orang subyek penderita diabetes mellitus tipe II yang berusia 39 hingga 54 tahun. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Mann-Whitney dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.00.Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rerata yang bermakna dari skor stress antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen memiliki taraf signifikansi (ρ = 0.019 < α 0.05), dan terdapat perbedaan rerata yang bermakna dari skor kualitas hidup antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen memiliki taraf signifikansi (ρ = 0.004 < α 0.05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan regulasi emosi berpengaruh dalam menurunkan stress dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pada penderita diabetes mellitus tipe II.
