Abstract

Abstract             His study aims to see the effectiveness of learning methods scl (student center learning) and tcl (teacher center learning) on intrinsic & extrinsic motivation student psychology UNTAG Surabaya Year 2014-2015. The research subjects took random sampling of 100 students from the class of 2014 and 2015. The intrinsic and extrinsic motivation scales used consisted of 21 valid and reliable items. The data were analyzed using Independent Sample T Test test which had previously tested normality and homogeneity. Based on the calculation result known Sig value. 0,946> 0,05 meaning that there is no difference of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation at UNTAG student of psychology class of 2014 and 2015 which received learning method scl (student center learning) and tcl (teacher center learning). Keyword: intrinsic & extrinsic motivation, scl (student center learning) and tcl (teacher center learning)

Abstract

Sekitar 10 juta anak dan remaja tidak berprestasi optimal akibat kecemasan tinggi terhadap tes. Apabila tidak diatasi, hal ini bisa jadi ganjalan sepanjang bersekolah dan mempengaruhi akses pendidikan dan pekerjaan. Maka intervensi kecemasan terhadap tes menjadi penting dalam psikologi pendidikan. Tulisan ini meneliti efektivitas intervensi terintegrasi terhadap kecemasan terhadap tes. Intervensi 12 sesi ini terdiri dari systematic desensitization, keterampilan belajar dan keterampilan mengerjakan tes untuk satu orang subyek yaitu siswi kelas V SD; edukasi instruksi yang menenangkan untuk orang tua dan edukasi instruksi berorientasi pada tugas untuk guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan single-subject multifactor baseline (A-B) design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan intervensi terintegrasi efektif menurunkan kecemasan terhadap tes. Penelitian ini menyarankan penelitian lanjutan tentang hubungan tingkat inteligensi, kemampuan metakognisi dengan kecemasan terhadap tes, serta perbandingan efektivitas intervensi terintegrasi untuk kelompok umur berbeda. Selain itu, perlu ada penelitian yang membandingkan efektivitas intervensi terintegrasi - yaitu intervensi untuk subyek dengan melibatkan orang tua dan guru – dengan intervensi yang khusus ditujukan pada subyek tanpa melibatkan orang tua atau guru. Penelitian ini juga menyarankan kajian lanjutan tentang intervensi kecemasan terhadap tes untuk orang tua serta guru. Around 10 million children and adolescents are hindered from their optimum achievements due to high test anxiety. When left untreated, it can serve as an obstacle throughout their school years and impact their access to education and work. Hence intervention to test anxiety is key in educational psychology. This writing examines the effectiveness of integrated intervention to test anxiety. This 12-session intervention comprises of systematic desensitization, study skills and test taking skills to one subject, one student in her 5th grade of elementary school, reassuring instruction education for her parents and task-oriented education for her teachers. This research uses single-subject multifactor baseline (A-B) design. The result shows that this integrative intervention is effective in decreasing test anxiety. It recommends further research to examine the relationship between intelligence and metacognition capacity to test anxiety as well as its effectiveness to different age group. Furthermore, a follow-up research to compare the effectiveness of integrated intervention involving parents and teachers and one that targets subject-only, as well as parents-only and teachers-only.

Abstract

Abstrak  Perasaan ditinggalkan atau dititipkan oleh orang tua merupakan suatu peristiwa yang dapat membekas di hati seorang anak. Hal ini dapat menimbulkan emosi negatif seperti dendam, rasa tidak percaya karena merasa dikhianati, kebencian dan kemarahan. Masa remaja dalam pertumbuhannya dapat merasakan luka dan kepedihan sehingga diperlukan adanya forgiveness pada orang tua yang telah menyakitinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan yang positif antara forgiveness dengan kebahagiaan pada remaja yang tinggal di Panti Asuhan. Remaja dalam penelitian ini adalah individu yang tengah mengalami masa perkembangan dari anak-anak menjadi dewasa, dengan rentang usia 15 – 21 tahun. Sebanyak 60 orang diambil sebagai sampel yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik sampel purposive sampling.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk forgiveness yaitu Transagression Interpersonal Motivation Inventory (TRIM-18) dengan koefisien alpha cronbach sebesar 0,891 dan skala kebahagiaan dengan koefisien alpha cronbach sebesar 0,902. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil koefisien korelasi r = 0,419 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05) yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara forgiveness dengan kebahagiaan pada remaja yang tinggal di Panti Asuhan, sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima. Kata Kunci        : Forgiveness, Kebahagiaan Abstract  The feeling of a child when she / he abandoned by their  parents is an event that will always remain in children's heart. This feelings can cause negative emotion like revenge, trust issue because of betrayal, hatred, and anger. Teenage in their development can feel the pain and agony because of the event that happened in their life. So they need to learn how to forgive those who hurt them. Adolescents in this study is the individual who is experiencing a period of growth of children into adults, with an age range 15-21 years. Sixty people were taken as the sample which was done by using purposive sampling technique. The method used in this research is quantitative method. Measuring instrument used for forgiveness is Transagression Interpersonal Motivation Inventory (TRIM-18) with alpha cronbach’s coefficient is 0,891 and happiness scale with alpha cronbach’s coefficient is 0,902. From the data analysis obtained that the result of coefficient correlation r = 0,419 with the significance ammount 0,000 (p < 0,05) which means there is a positive correlation between forgiveness with happiness in forgiveness with happiness in teenagers living in an orphanage, so the hypothesis of the researcher accepted. Keywords: Forgiveness, Happiness

Abstract

Abstract                 The purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of progressive relaxation therapy in reducing the anxiety students facing menarche. This research includes Quasi Experimental research with One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Variables in this research is Progressive Relaxation as independent variable (X) and Anxiety face menarche as dependent variable (Y). The population in this study were students of grade V and VI MI Bahrul Ulum who have not experienced menarche (menstruation for the first time) a number of 45 students. Research subjects as many as 15 students were taken using purposive sampling technique with criteria: 1) subjects have not experienced menarche; 2) experience anxiety. Data were collected using an anxiety scale that scored with Likert scale. Research data were analyzed using t-test with the help of SPSS for Windows program. The results showed a significant decrease in anxiety in subjects facing menarche (p = 0.000 <0.05) between post-treatment progressive relaxation.Keywords: progressive relaxation, anxiety facing menarche, young women

Abstract

Depression in adolescent victims of sexual violence needs to get proper attention and handling. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling in reducing depression in adolescent victims of sexual violence. The data collection tools used are depression scale and introvert personality type scale. The subjects of this study were 5 (five) introverted adolescents who had experienced sexual violence and had received psychosocial assistance from Yayasan Hotline Surabaya and Yayasan Embun Surabaya Foundation. The research design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The analytical method used was nonparametric wilxocon test and correlation test using spearman. Abstract

Perundungan merupakan isu utama yang menjadi masalah di SMA XYZ sehingga menyebabkan siswa merasa tertekan secara psikologis dan merasa tidak nyaman di sekolah. Dari studi literatur diketahui bahwa semakin positif hubungan antar siswa, yang ditandai dengan tingginya tingkat perilaku prososial, tingkat kejadian perundungan akan semakin rendah. Sebelum intervensi dilakukan, peneliti melakukan studi baseline di SMA XYZ.  Berdasarkan studi baseline tersebut, diketahui bahwa beberapa siswa memiliki kemauan untuk mengubah tradisi perundungan dan menginginkan hubungan yang lebih positif di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan perilaku prososial siswa pada kelompok intervensi, agar terbentuk hubungan yang positif di sekolah. Partisipan pada kelompok intervensi adalah pengurus OSIS, yang terdiri dari 10 siswa kelas X dan 10 siswa kelas XI. Perimbangan pemilihan pengurus OSIS adalah karena mereka dapat menjadi agent of change di SMA XYZ. Intervensi dirancang dengan memodifikasi program CEPIDEA (Caprara et al., 2014), yaitu dengan memberikan pelatihan keterampilan regulasi emosi, empati dan komunikasi serta penguatan perilaku melalui teknik persuasi media sosial pada siswa. Indikator keberhasilan intervensi ini adalah meningkatnya perilaku prososial siswa secara signifikan. Hasil pengukuran wilcoxon signed rank test menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan secara signifikan pada skor keterampilan regulasi emosi, empati,  komunikasi, self efficacy dan perilaku prososial siswa. Implikasi penelitian intervensi ini dibahas dalam artikel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in learning independence in terms of learning methods in children. Subjects in this study consisted of children aged 6-12 years amounted to 84 people, which is divided into two groups where the first group is a child using student centered learning method while the second group is a group that uses teacher centered learning method learning. Data collecting tool is a self-learning questionnaire prepared by the author. The questionnaire consisted of 36 items of statement items. The data analysis was done by independent sample t test technique with the help of SPSS version 17 statistic program. The result of data analysis showed that there was a significant difference of learning independence level in terms of learning method in children where children using student centered learning method have higher learning independence level than children using teacher centered learning method. Abstract

Abstract            The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of group therapy in reducing bullying behavior among students of Among Siswa Surabaya Middle School. The subjects of this study were six students who committed bullying using purposive sampling technique. Determination of the subject is based on the results of interviews with teachers Counseling Guidance. This study uses a quantitative approach and is included in the type of experimental experimental research. The experimental design used was One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test technique obtained results of Z = -2.207, with a significance level of p = 0.024 (p˂ 0.05). Abstract

AbstractVerbal creativity is one type of creativity that is needed by adolescents, especially in the field of education. New methods are needed to improve that creativity. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of classical Mozart music on improving students' verbal creativity. Subjects in this study were determined by purposive sampling technique. This research uses pre-experimental design with one group pre and post test design. The subjects used only students of class VII-G as many as 29 students. In the execution subjects were given pre-test before the classical music of Mozart and given post-test after the classical music of Mozart. This research data was obtained by using Verbal Creativity Test from Munandar. Hypothesis testing is done by using technique of Paired Sample T-test obtained difference mean = 9,822, t-count equal to -6,799 with significance level equal to 0,000 (p <0,05). Abstract

Abstract                This study aims to determine the correlation between social support and emotional intelligence with resilience to flood victims. Retrieval of data in this study uses a scale of resilience, scale of support, and emotional intelligence distributed to 100 research subjects, namely flood victims in Dalpenang Sampang village using purposive sampling technique. The results of the analysis of research data using multiple regression analysis shows that there is a positive relationship between social support and emotional intelligence with resilience which is shown by the F number regression = 103.783 with p = 0.000 (p <0.001). Variables of social support and emotional intelligence simultaneously and very significantly correlate with resilience. Partially found the value of t regression between social support and resilience = 10.410, and partial r = 0.726, p = 0.00 (p <0.05), this means there is a positive and significant relationship between social support and resilience. The partial test also found t regression between emotional intelligence and resilience = 3.675 and r partial = 0.350 (p <0.05), this means there is a positive and very significant relationship between emotional intelligence and resilience. These results indicate that the three proposed hypotheses are accepted.                Keywords: social support, emotional intelligence, resilienceÂ
