Abstract

Abstract Shame is one of the functions of behavioral control in individuals. Since childhood, a child has been introduced to social norms and morality and the consequences of his violations. However, the consequences of violating norms and morals show two different results, namely: shame and guilt. Research on shame in the individualistic culture places more emphasis on the aspect of self-awareness, while the interdependent collective culture places more emphasis on the public aspect. This study used a qualitative survey approach involving 54 junior high school students (male=35; female=19), (M = 19.22, SD = 3.45)  in Banyumas District, Central Java. By using thematic analysis in qualitative survey method, the findings showed that the route of embarrassed emotional attribution subjects confirmed the internal and external attribution routes. The internal attribution route is characterized by the process of feeling guilty of an embarrassing event while the external route is characterized by a publicly known aspect. Sejak kecil, seorang anak telah diperkenalkan dengan norma-norma sosial dan moralitas dan konsekuensi dari pelanggarannya. Namun, konsekuensi dari pelanggaran norma dan moral menunjukkan dua hasil yang berbeda, yaitu: rasa malu dan rasa bersalah. Penelitian tentang rasa malu dalam budaya individualistis lebih menekankan pada aspek kesadaran diri, sedangkan budaya kolektif yang saling bergantung lebih menekankan pada aspek publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan survei kualitatif yang melibatkan 54 siswa SMP X (laki-laki=35; perempuan=19), (M = 19.22, SD = 3.45) di Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Dengan menggunakan analisis tematik dalam metode survei kualitatif, temuan menunjukkan bahwa rute subjek atribusi emosional yang malu mengkonfirmasi rute atribusi internal dan eksternal. Rute atribusi internal ditandai mayoritas oleh proses pelanggaran etika dan sebagian kecil oleh perasaan bersalah atas peristiwa yang memalukan, sedangkan rute eksternal ditandai dengan aspek yang diketahui secara publik. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the relationship of perception of the quality of candidates and political trust with political participation. The population in this study were students at the University August 17, 1945 Surabaya who already have the right to vote or voting rights (age> 17 years or married). While the sample in this study was 150 students, with incidental sampling method. The results of this study were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and resulted in: 1) The relationship between perceptions of quality candidates (candidates) and political beliefs (political trust) with political participation, the value of F = 1.056 with a significance level of 0.351> 0.05. It can be concluded that this hypothesis is rejected or not proven, that means there is no significant relationship between perceptions of quality candidates (candidates) and political beliefs (Political Trust) with Political Participation. 2) partial test results perceptions of the quality of candidates (X1) with political participation, the value of t = 0.297 and 0.767 significance level> 0.05. This suggests that partial perception of the quality factor candidates (candidates) (X1), there was no significant relationship to political participation (Y). It can be concluded that this hypothesis is not proven or rejected. 3) The results of the partial test of political beliefs (political trust) (X2) with political participation, the value of t = -1.424 and a significance level of 0.157> 0.05. This suggests that partial political trust factor (X2) there is no significant relationship to political participation (Y). value of R Square (R2) of 0.14. R Square value of 0.14 indicates the percentage contribution of the effect of independent variables (perception of the quality of candidates and political beliefs) on the dependent variable (political participation) only by 1.4%, while the remaining 98.6% is influenced by other variables not variables included in the study. Abstract

Abstract Early adulthood is a period when individu face and should to be able to adjust changes, patterns of life and new hopes. Individu also have developmental tasks that must be completed and determine life in the period of further development. However, some early adult women have reported obesity which has an impact on social appearance anxiety. One form of therapy that can be used to reduce anxiety is guided imagery. This research is an experimental study with a single-group pretest / posttest design. The research subjects were 4 people who were determined through purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using the social appearance anxiety scale compiled by Hart et al. (2008). This study used the non-parametric data analysis technique Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The analysis shows that guided imagery is not effective in reducing social appearance anxiety in early adult women who are significantly obese. Abstrak Dewasa awal merupakan masa individu menghadapi dan dituntut mampu menyesuaikan diri terhadap perubahan, pola kehidupan dan harapan baru. Individu juga memiliki tugas perkembangan yang harus diselesaikan dan menentukan kehidupan di masa perkembangan selanjutnya. Namun demikian beberapa wanita dewasa awal dilaporkan mengalami obesitas yang berdampak pada kecemasan berpenampilan sosial atau social appearance anxiety. Salah satu bentuk terapi yang dapat digunakan untuk menurunkan kecemasan adalah guided imagery. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain single-group pretest/posttest design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 4 orang yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala social appearance anxiety yang disusun oleh Hart, dkk. (2008). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data non-parametrik wilcoxon signed-rank test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemberian guided imagery tidak efektif menurunkan social appearance anxiety pada wanita dewasa awal yang mengalami obesitas secara signifikan. Abstract

Abstract                Happy life is everyone's hope, but happiness is influenced by many factors. This study aims to determine the relationship between spiritual intelligence and happiness. The subjects of this study were female inmates at the Class IIA Medan Women's Penitentiary of 186 people. The research data was obtained using a scale of spiritual intelligence and happiness. The data analysis used is Product Moment correlation through SPSS 18 for Windows. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.664 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows there is a positive relationship between spiritual intelligence and happiness. The results of this study indicate that the contribution given by the variable spiritual intelligence to happiness is 44.1 percent, the rest 55.9 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. It can be concluded that spiritual intelligence has a big influence on the happiness of female prisoners.Keywords: Happiness, Spiritual Intelligence  Abstrak                 Hidup bahagia adalah harapan semua orang, namun demikian kebahagiaan dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan kebahagiaan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah narapidana wanita di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Perempuan Kelas IIA Medan sebanyak 186 orang. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan skala kecerdasan spiritual dan kebahagiaan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi Product Moment melalui bantuan SPSS 18 for Windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,664 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05). Ini menunjukkan ada hubungan positif antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan kebahagiaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sumbangan yang diberikan variabel kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kebahagiaan sebesar 44,1 persen, selebihnya 55,9 persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Dapat disimpulkan kecerdasan spiritual memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap kebahagiaan narapidana wanita.Kata kunci: Kebahagiaan, Kecerdasan Spiritual

Abstract

AbstractLupus is a systemic chronic inflammatory disease that attacks connective tissue and characterized by changes in immunological responses. Lupus is experienced by women in early adulthood. These developmental tasks in early adulthood are not an easy thing to live for an Odapus woman, so they often cause stress. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Stress Inoculation Training to reduce stress in Odapus. This study uses a single group pretest posttest design. Measurements were made twice, namely before (pretest) and after (posttest) with 4 rearch subjects who had expressed their willingness through informed consent. Data collection was carried out using a Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) with reliability 0.78. Data analyzed by Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of data analysis show that Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) is 0.066 (≥0.05) which means that there is no significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, however the intervention of Stress Inoculation Training (SIT) has a significant effect on reducing anxiety (r = 0.64).Keywords: Stress Inoculation Training (SIT); Stress; Odapus. AbstrakLupus merupakan penyakit inflamasi kronik sistemik yang menyerang jaringan ikat dan ditandai dengan adanya perubahan respon imunologi. Lupus banyak dialami oleh wanita pada masa dewasa awal. Tugas-tugas perkembangan pada masa dewasa awal ini bukanlah hal yang mudah untuk dijalani bagi seorang wanita Odapus, sehingga seringkali menyebabkan stres. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Stress Inoculation Training untuk menurunkan stres pada Odapus. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain single group pretest posttest design. Pengukuran dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali, yaitu sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 4 orang yang telah menyatakan kesediaannya melalui informed consent. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan alat ukur Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0,78. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Asymp. Abstract

 AbstractThe problem that arise in female patients who diagnosed with positive HIV is their adjustment in physical dan psychological health condition, also stigma from the environment. Acceptance of illness has a significant influence on change in the psychological condition of patient, including being used to the limitations and dependence on other people due to their illness. This study aims to see the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to increase acceptance of illness. This study used the one group pretest-posttest design involved three respondents who had signed an informed consent. Instrument of this study used Acceptance of Disease and Impairments Questionnaire (ADIQ) developed by Boer et al. (2014). Data obtained were analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon statistical test. The results showed that the intervention using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) therapy was not significant for increasing acceptance of illness in female patients diagnosed with HIV (p = 0.109). Even so there was an increase in acceptance of illness scores of female patients with Positive HIV.Keywords: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), acceptance of illness, and female diagnosed with positive HIVAbstrakPermasalahan yang muncul pada pasien perempuan dengan diagnosis positif HIV adalah penyesuaian terhadap kondisi kesehatan fisik dan psikologis pribadi serta stigma dari lingkungan. Penerimaan terhadap penyakit (acceptance of illness) mempunyai pengaruh besar terhadap kondisi psikologis pasien, termasuk menjadi terbiasa dengan keterbatasan dan ketergantungan pada orang lain karena penyakit yang dimiliki.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) untuk meningkatkan acceptance of illness. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain the one group pretest-posttest design untuk tiga subjek yang telah menandatangani informed consent. Pengumpulan data  penelitian menggunakan alat ukur Acceptance of Disease and Impairments Questionnaire (ADIQ) yang dikembangkan Boer dkk. (2014). Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik non-parametric Wilcoxon. Hasil analisis data statistik menunjukan bahwa intervensi menggunakan terapi Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) tidak signifikan untuk meningkatkan acceptance of illness pada pasien perempuan yang didiagnosis positif HIV (p=0.109). Abstract

AbstractBullying tends to intensify during middle school years, especially amongst students who grew up in harsh environments and were exposed to negative behaviors in their formative years. This research is aimed at assessing the effectiveness of school-based empathy training in preventing bullying behaviors in middle school students. A sample of 25 students was selected using a purposing sampling technique. The two days training was split into six sections i.e. introduction The same group of students was given Pre and Post empathy training evaluation. The two days training consisted of six sections starting from the introduction of the program, baseline assessment, intervention, post-test, playing of video and a closing discussion. Evaluation of the training effectiveness was held a month after the training. The statistical study of pretest and posttest Empathy Training, pretest, and posttest Bullying questionnaires, using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks. The finding indicated that Empathy training resulted in a change of insight and improvement in bullying tendencies.Keywords: Behavior; Empathy training; Bullying  AbstrakFenomena perundungan di lingkungan sekolah, umumnya dilatarbelakangi oleh paparan perilaku agresi (verbal dan Fisik) yang sering dialami sebelumnya oleh pelaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan empati dalam mengurangi perilaku perundungan pada remaja di lingkungan sekolah. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 25 orang siswa/i yang diperoleh berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Perlakuan diberikan selama 2 hari, terdiri dari 6 sesi, yaitu sesi pembukaan, perkenalan, menjelaskan tahapan pelatihan, pengukuran awal, pemberian materi, pretest dan posttest,  pemutaran video dan diskusi. Evaluasi terhadap perubahan perilaku dilakukan sebulan setelah pelatihan diberikan. Uji statistik Pretest dan Posttest Materi Pelatihan Empati serta Pretest dan Posttest skala perundungan dengan menggunakan Tes Wilcoxon Signed Ranks. Hasil menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai perilaku perundungan serta penurunan kecenderungan memunculkan perilaku perundungan setelah mengikuti pelatihan empati. Abstract

AbstractOvercoming anger in children and adolescents becomes a challenge considering children and adolescents cannot yet understand and manage anger. Most of teenagers tend to manifest anger in the form of aggressive behavior. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of cognitive behavior anger management training (CB-AMT) on increasing anger management related knowledge and reducing aggression in junior high school students identified as having aggression behavior problem. The study design was one group pretest-posttest with a total of six participants consists of two girls and four boys. Each participant was identified as being in borderline clinical range in the aspect of aggression using child behavior checklist (CBCL). Participants attended three sessions of training with duration ranging from 120-150 minutes each. Statistical analysis using Wilcoxon showed that there is an increase in knowledge right after training. One month after the training, all participants experienced a decrease in aggression scores based on CBCL. Four participants experienced a change in category from the borderline clinical range to normal range. CB-AMT effective in increasing anger manager related knowledge and reducing aggression in junior high school students. Keywords: Aggression; Cognitive Behavioral Anger Management Training (CB-AMT); Early adolescence  Abstrak Mengatasi rasa marah pada anak-anak dan remaja menjadi suatu tantangan mengingat anak-anak dan remaja belum memiliki kemampuan untuk memahami dan mengatur rasa marah. Mayoritas remaja cenderung mewujudkan rasa marah dalam bentuk perilaku agresi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan cognitive behavioral anger management training (CB-AMT) dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan yang berhubungan dengan anger management dan menurunkan perilaku agresi siswa SMP yang teridentifikasi memiliki permasalahan perilaku agresi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian one group pretest-posttest dengan partisipan sebanyak enam orang yang terdiri atas dua orang perempuan dan empat orang laki-laki. Seluruh partisipan teridentifikasi berada pada borderline clinical range pada aspek agresi menggunakan pengukuran CBCL. Partisipan mengikuti tiga sesi pelatihan dengan durasi masing-masing berkisar antara 120 – 150 menit. Analisis statistik menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tepat setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Satu bulan setelah pelatihan diberikan diketahui seluruh partisipan mengalami penurunan skor agresi berdasarkan pengukuran CBCL. Empat dari enam partisipan mengalami perubahan rentang agresi menjadi normal range setelah sebelumnya berada pada borderline clinical range. CB-AMT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan berhubungan dengan anger management dan menurunkan perilaku agresi pada siswa SMP. Abstract

AbstractChanges to regulations for publications are one of the policies towards world-class universities. This study discusses the variables that are able to influence the commitment to change students, with the aim that students committed to changes. In more detail, this journal discusses the relationship of psychological contracts to a commitment to change with academic resilience as mediation. The research method in this study is a quantitative method. The questionnaire was distributed using random sampling techniques and answers from 100 participants obtained implemented using SEM (Structure Equation Modelling) with the Smart PLS 3. The conclusion is: (1) psychological contracts have a positive and significant effect on commitment to change, (2) psychological contracts that are positive and significant to academic resilience, (3) academic resilience positive and significant to commitment to change, (4) academic resilience mediates the relationship between psychological contracts and commitment to change. That means, to increase student commitment to changes in regulations, stakeholders in higher education, can make a stronger psychological contract and assist students in increasing their academic resilience.Keywords: Psychological Contract, Academic Resilience, Commitment to Change, High Education AbstrakPerubahan peraturan terkait publikasi merupakan salah satu kebijakan perguruan tinggi menuju world class university. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel-variabel yang mampu mempengaruhi commitment to change mahasiswa, dengan tujuan agar mahasiswa tetap commit pada perubahan peraturan tersebut. Lebih detail, studi ini menguji hubungan kontrak psikologis terhadap commitment to change dengan resiliensi akademik sebagai mediasi.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Kuesioner disebarkan menggunakan teknik random sampling dan jawaban dari 100 partisipan yang didapat dianalisis menggunakan SEM (Structure Equation Modelling) dan bantuan program Smart PLS 3. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa (1) kontrak psikologis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap commitment to change, (2) kontrak psikologis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik, (3) resiliensi akademik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap commitment to change, (4) resiliensi akademik memediasi hubungan antara kontrak psikologis dan commitment to change. Artinya, untuk meningkatkan komitmen mahasiswa terhadap perubahan peraturan, pemangku kepentingan di perguruan tinggi dapat membentuk kontrak psikologis yang kuat dengan mahasiswa serta membantu mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan resiliensi akademik mereka.Kata Kunci: Kontrak psikologis, resiliensi akademik, commitment to change, perguruan tinggi.

Abstract Socioemotional development is important for children to develop their own potential, cognitive development, support school readiness and academic success. This study aims to analyze the child’s temperament, parent’s parenting practices to children’s socioemotional development aged 5-6 years. This study used a quantitative survey approach.  Samples in this study were 100 children and their mothers from 6 kindergartens in Depok City. Samples were chosen by using a convenient sampling method with criteria that mothers would be a sample of research. The collected data was analyzed using a structural equation model with Smart PLS 6.0. The instruments used in this study were the mother's and father's parenting practice questionnaire, EAS temperament questionnaire, and social-emotional development questionnaire. The results of the study showed that a child’s socioemotional development is affected positive significant by the mother’s parenting practice, father’s parenting practice, and also children’s temperament. This study also showed that a father’s parenting practice provides positive significant to the mother’s parenting practice and child’s temperament. Keywords:  Children; Parenting practice; Socioemotional development; Temperaments Abstrak                Perkembangan sosial dan emosi penting dicapai anak untuk mengembangkan potensi diri anak, meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif, mendukung kesiapan sekolah dan keberhasilan akademik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh temperamen anak dan praktik pengasuhan orang tua terhadap perkembangan sosial emosi anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan survey kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 100 pasang anak prasekolah dan ibunya yang berasal dari 6 TK di Kota Depok. Sampel dipilih menggunakan metode convenient sampling dengan kriteria ibu bersedia menjadi sampel penelitian. Data dianalisis menggunakan smart PLS 6.0. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner praktik pengasuhan ibu dan ayah, kuesioner temperamen EAS, dan kuesioner perkembangan sosial emosi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan sosial emosi anak dipengaruhi secara positif signifikan oleh praktik pengasuhan ibu, praktik pengasuhan ayah, dan temperamen anak. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa praktik pengasuhan ayah memberikan pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap praktik pengasuhan ibu dan temperamen anak.Kata kunci:  Anak; Perkembangan sosial emosi; Praktik pengasuhan; Temperamen
