Abstract

Abstract Organizational culture is one of the predictors that can influence employees' voice behavior. However, research on organizational innovation culture with employee voice behavior still needs to be more extensive and needed. This study aims to determine the role of innovative organizational culture in mediating the relationship between inclusive leadership and employee voice behavior. The study conveniently sampled 174 employees from various innovative companies. The measuring instruments used are the Inclusive Leadership Scale (α = 0.85), Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (α = 0.84), and the Voice Behavior Scale (α = 0.93) which have been adapted into Indonesian—data analysis with the PROCESS 4 model from Hayes. The result highlights that inclusive leadership was positively correlated with employee voice behavior, and innovative culture partially mediated the relationship between inclusive leadership and employee voice behavior. The implication for organizations is to set up leaders with inclusive characteristics through self-development and training, facilitating safe environments to express employee voices and opinions by implementing values that support flexibility and autonomy. Abstract

This study aims to reduce students' academic stress through online counselling-based information services. The experimental group consisting of one psychologist, two counsellors, and two classes of students was given online counselling-based information services help (a total of 27 students). In contrast, the control group obtained conventional information services help (a total of 25 students). The participant technique uses purposive sampling. A quasi-experimental method using a nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design with Mann-Whitney analysis was used. The research instrument used was a stress scale, which was adapted from Fathiyah (2019) consisting of 4 aspects, namely: physical, cognitive, affective and conative, and totalling 40 items. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the academic stress effect between students who received online counselling and conventional information-based service assistance. The benefit of this research is that efforts to reduce academic stress cannot be afforded only from one counselling service, but require a variety of services, such as online counselling-based information services and conventional information services.

Abstract

Students in facing the demands of lectures can experience difficulties and experience failure, so grit is needed. Students with low grit tend to change interests easily and think about changing majors because they feel they have not succeeded in getting the right thing. Increasing grit can be done by developing a growth mindset in individuals. This research aims to test the effectiveness of growth mindset intervention in increasing grit in students. The participants in this research were 17 Makassar State University students divided into two groups (9 participants in the experimental group and 8 participants in the control group). Participants were determined through a purposive sampling technique. The research design used in this study was a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection was carried out using the grit scale (∝ = 0.716). The data analysis techniques used are the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. Experimental group participants were proven to experience an increase in grit scores after receiving a growth mindset intervention for two weeks. The findings of this research can make growth mindset intervention a way to increase student grit.

Abstract

Currently, cyberbullying remains a problem globally. This issue is prevalent among teenagers. Several studies have explored this problem, but none have attempted to test the theoretical model of the dark triad personality, empathy, and emotional regulation on cyberbullying. This research aims to test a model involving cyberbullying, dark triad personality, empathy, and emotional regulation as mediators. A total of 309 out of 1205 high school students from two private schools (207 students) and one public school (102 students) in Yogyakarta voluntarily participated in this study. Purposive sampling was used to recruit respondents. The cyberbullying scale (α = .932), dark triad personality scale (α = .752), empathy scale (α = .785), and emotional regulation scale (α = .915) were used to collect data. Content validity and internal consistency reliability were applied. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Amos 12 software. The results of this study indicate that the model of dark triad personality, empathy, and emotional regulation as mediators of cyberbullying behaviour produces a well-fitting model with its empirical data (CMIN=.747, p=862, RMSEA= .000, GFI= .999). Emotional regulation and empathy partially mediate the influence of psychopathy and narcissism on cyberbullying behaviour. Psychopathy is the only personality trait of the dark triad that directly or indirectly affects cyberbullying. The implications of the research are the need to develop interventions to reduce the dark triad personality traits and enhance empathy and emotional regulation in adolescents, in order to avoid cyberbullying behavior.

Abstract

The organization environment has low role ambiguity and high psychological safety so innovation can be an organizational advantage. This research used a quasi-experimental study using the Experiment Vignette Method (EVM), which aims to measure the effect of role ambiguity and psychological safety on employees' innovative work behaviour intention. The research instrument used a questionnaire distributed using Google Forms. Data collection was carried out using a purposive sampling method and obtained 262 marketplace employees in Indonesia. Independent manipulation variables were arranged as 4x2 comic strips with 4 variations of scenarios as well as measuring employee innovative work behaviour intentions using an innovative work behaviour intention questionnaire. Two-way ANOVA analysis shows that there is a significant effect of role ambiguity on employees' innovative work behaviour intention. In addition, employees with high psychological safety also show more intention to behave innovatively. This study also shows that there is an interaction effect between role ambiguity and psychological safety on employee innovative work behaviour intention.
