Abstract

Abstract Adequate sleep is essential since short sleep duration can cause various adverse effects. Previous research found that college students often find it difficult and have low intentions to get enough sleep due to several factors. This study aims to see the role of adequate sleep intention factors based on the Theory of Planned Behavior in college students, namely attitude toward behavior, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control. Participants were 600 college students at a state university in Indonesia. The data was obtained through a questionnaire adapted from the Theory of Planned Behavior Questionnaire (α=0,793) and statistically analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling and Kruskal-Wallis. The results show that attitude toward behavior, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control had a significant role in predicting adequate sleep intention in college students. Furthermore, attitude toward behavior has the most substantial role among the other factors. Through this research, future interventions that aim college students’ sleep intention can focus on targeting students’ attitude toward sleep behavior. Pada penelitian sebelumnya, ditemukan bahwa mahasiswa sering mengalami kesulitan dan memiliki intensi yang rendah untuk tidur cukup karena berbagai faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran faktor-faktor yang mendasari intensi tidur cukup berdasarkan Theory of Planned Behavior pada mahasiswa, yaitu attitude toward behavior, subjective norm, dan perceived behavioral control. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah 600 mahasiswa salah satu perguruan tinggi negeri di Indonesia. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang diadaptasi dari Theory of Planned Behavior Questionnaire (α=0,793) dan dianalisis secara statistik dengan Structural Equation Modeling serta Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa attitude toward behavior, subjective norm, dan perceived behavioral control berperan secara signifikan terhadap intensi tidur cukup mahasiswa. Adapun faktor yang memiliki peran terbesar dalam memprediksi intensi tidur cukup pada mahasiswa adalah attitude toward behavior. Melalui hasil penelitian ini, para praktisi dapat menyasar sikap mahasiswa terhadap perilaku tidur cukup saat hendak merancang intervensi tidur cukup pada mahasiswa. Abstract

Abstract The prevalence of recidivist tendencies in convicts of burglary cases in Pasuruan is still high. There needs to be a special intervention to reduce the recidivism tendency. The aims of this study were 1) to explore the recidivist behavior of the robbery case in Pasuruan; 2) to develop an effective spiritual value-based cognitive behavioral psychotherapy model for prisoners of burglary cases in Pasuruan. The method used is development research with ADDIE stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results showed that 1) the results of the exploration of recidivist behavior that were manifested in the analysis of the S-O-R-C function showed that recidivist prisoners had low self-regulation and had a lot of irrational thoughts on cognitive aspects, and had spiritual values ​​that had not been internalized; 2) the results of developing a spiritual value-based cognitive behavioral psychotherapy model in five sessions in the form of modules have been highly validated by experts and potential users. The results of the limited group trial showed differences in self-regulation of recidivist subjects before and after being given psychotherapy (p<0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the psychotherapeutic model developed is effective in increasing the self-regulation of delinquent recidivists. Keywords: Cognitive behavioral psychotherapy; recidivist; spiritual value; self-regulation; spoliation Abstrak Prevalensi kecenderungan residivis pada narapidana kasus pembegalan di Pasuruan masih tinggi. Perlu ada intervensi khusus untuk mengurangi kecenderungan residivis tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengeksplorasi perilaku residivis kasus pembegalan di Pasuruan; 2) mengembangkan model psikoterapi kognitif perilaku berbasis nilai spiritual yang efektif bagi narapidana kasus pembegalan di Pasuruan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan tahapan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) hasil eksplorasi perilaku residivis yang diwujudkan pada analisis fungsi S-O-R-C menunjukkan bahwa narapidana residivis memiliki regulasi diri rendah dan memiliki banyak pemikiran irasional pada aspek kognitif, serta memiliki nilai spiritual yang belum terinternalisasi; 2) hasil pengembangan model psikoterapi kognitif perilaku berbasis nilai spiritual dalam lima sesi yang berwujud modul telah tervalidasi sangat tinggi oleh ahli dan calon pengguna. Hasil uji coba kelompok terbatas menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan regulasi diri subjek residivis sebelum dan sesudah diberikan psikoterapi (p<0,05). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model psikoterapi yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan regulasi diri residivis pembegalan. Abstract

Abstract The high divorce rate in Indonesia becomes a social phenomenon, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Pandemic situation puts tension on married life, which can reduce marital satisfaction which is one of the predictors of divorce. This quantitative study aims to explore the influence of each emotion regulation strategy, namely cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression on marital satisfaction among married individuals in Indonesia. This study was conducted on 166 participants using Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) (α reappraisal = 0,676, α suppression = 0,729) and Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) (α = 0,827) to measure emotion regulation strategy and marital satisfaction of each participant. Data from a sample were analyzed with multiple hierarchy regression tests, Pearson correlation, and independent sample t-test. The results showed that cognitive reappraisal strategies contributed significantly to marital satisfaction, and expressive suppression contributed significantly only to men, while in women there was no meaningful contribution. This study is expected to provide useful findings in regulating emotions in couples, especially those that are gender sensitive, in order to increase marital satisfaction. Keywords: COVID-19 pandemic; emotion regulation strategy; marital satisfaction Abstrak Tingginya angka perceraian di Indonesia menjadi fenomena sosial, khususnya di masa pandemi COVID-19. Situasi pandemi memberikan tekanan dalam kehidupan pernikahan, sehingga dapat menurunkan kepuasan pernikahan yang merupakan salah satu prediktor dari perceraian. Penelitian kuantitatif ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengeksplor pengaruh masing-masing strategi regulasi emosi, yaitu cognitive reappraisal dan expressive suppression terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada individu menikah di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 166 partisipan dengan menggunakan Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) (α reappraisal = 0,676, α suppression = 0,729) dan Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) (α = 0,827) untuk mengukur strategi regulasi emosi dan kepuasan pernikahan dari masing-masing partisipan. Data dari sampel dianalisis dengan uji regresi hierarki berganda, korelasi Pearson, dan independent sample t-test. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa strategi cognitive reappraisal memberikan kontribusi yang positif secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pernikahan dan expressive suppression memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan hanya pada lelaki, sedangkan pada perempuan tidak ditemukan kontribusi yang berarti. Studi ini diharapkan dapat memberi temuan yang bermanfaat dalam meregulasi emosi pada pasangan, khususnya yang sensitif berdasarkan gender, demi meningkatkan kepuasan pernikahan. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine whether there is a simultaneous influence of social support and cultural orientation on the stress level of correctional inmates in Rutan Class II B Salatiga. One hundred thirty-two prisoners participated in the study. This study used a quantitative approach with regression analysis to answer the research objectives. The measuring tools are the Social Support Scale (α=0,912), Cultural Orientation Scale (α=0,722), and DASS-21 (α=0,846). The results showed no significant effect between social support and cultural orientation on the stress level of WBP in Salatiga Rutan. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that most of the participants' stress and social support were moderate, and all participants had a high vertical collectivism cultural orientation. So, the detention center needs to pay attention to the condition of the inmate's stress level and minimize the factors that can affect stress. Keywords: stress, social support, culture orientation, correctional inmates, COVID-19 pandemic Abstrak Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh dukungan sosial dan orientasi budaya secara simultan dengan tingkat stres Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan di Rutan Klas II B Salatiga. Sebanyak 132 orang Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan menjadi partisipan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi berganda untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian. Skala pengukuran yang digunakan adalah Social Support Scale (α=0,912), Cultural Orientation Scale (α=0,722), dan DASS-21 (α=0,846). Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan antara dukungan sosial dan orientasi budaya dengan tingkat stres Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa stres maupun dukungan sosial sebagian besar partisipan berada pada tingkat sedang dan seluruh partisipan memiliki orientasi budaya vertical collectivism pada taraf tinggi. Untuk itu pihak Rutan perlu memperhatikan kondisi kesehatan mental Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan dan meminimalkan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhinya. Abstract

Abstract This research is to determine the role of customer satisfaction as a mediator between utilitarian service quality and pleasant service quality on customer loyalty. The research used a questionnaire conducted online using the Google Form feature. Using a convenience sampling technique, 455 e-commerce users throughout Indonesia who are in the millennial to baby boomer generation (20-74 years) are found as research samples. The researcher developed a questionnaire using a Likert scale that modified the instruments from previous research to suit current research needs. The construct validity was reviewed again using CFA (confirmatory factor analysis). CFA results reveal that all indicators of the research measuring tool get a loading factor ≥ 0.50, construct reliability ≥ 0.70, and Average Variance Extracted ≥ 0.50. The data analysis process was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling. The study results show that customer satisfaction is a mediator between utilitarian and pleasant service quality on customer loyalty. This research implies that e-commerce can consider factors such as Customer Relationship Management, Customer Satisfaction, Pleasant Service Quality, and Utilitarian Service Quality to achieve customer satisfaction, ultimately maximizing company profits. Penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang dilakukan secara online menggunakan fitur dari Google Form. Dengan teknik convenience sampling, didapatkan 455 pengguna e-commerce di seluruh Indonesia yang berada pada generasi millennials hingga generasi baby boomer’s (20-74 tahun) sebagai sampel penelitian. Peneliti mengembangkan kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala Likert yang memodifikasi instrumen-instrumen dari penelitian terdahulu agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian saat ini yang dilihat Kembali validitas konstruknya menggunakan CFA (confirmatory factor analysis). Hasil CFA mengungkapkan bahwa semua indikator alat ukur penelitian mendapatkan loading factor ≥ 0,50, construct reliability ≥ 0,70, dan Average Variance Extracted ≥ 0,50. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa customer satisfaction berperan sebagai mediator antara service quality utilitarian dan service quality pleasant terhadap customer loyalty. Implikasi dari penelitian ini, e-commerce dapat mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor seperti Customer Relationship Management, Customer Satisfaction, Service Quality Pleasant, dan Service Quality Utilitarian untuk mencapai kepuasan pelanggan yang pada akhirnya memaksimalkan keuntungan perusahaan. Abstract

Abstract Millennial employees experience twice as much boredom at work as the previous generation. They often feel bored because lack of challenges and meaning in work and perceive their work as underloading. This study aimed to examine the mediating role of positive meaning in work in the relationship between the perception of underload work and boredom at work and to see whether that mediation relationship depends on increasing challenging job demands. The instruments used are boredom at work scale (∝ = 0.714), perception of underload work (∝ = 0.75), positive meaning in work (∝ = 0.87), and increasing challenging job demands (∝ = 0.83). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the characteristic employee born from 1982 to 1999 who had already worked at their current job for a minimum of six months. Data analysis used PROCESS HAYES model 4 for the mediation model and model 14 for the moderation mediation model. Data obtained from 327 participants showed that positive meaning in work mediated the relationship between the perception of underload work and boredom at work, and increasing challenging job demands had also been found as a moderating role in the relationship between positive meaning in work and boredom at work. Abstrak Karyawan milenial mengalami kebosanan kerja dua kali lebih sering dibandingkan generasi-generasi sebelumnya. Karyawan milenial sering merasa bosan karena kurangnya tantangan dan makna di dalam pekerjaannya, serta mempersepsikan pekerjaan mereka memiliki beban kerja yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran mediasi positive meaning in work dalam hubungan antara persepsi beban kerja rendah dan kebosanan kerja, serta untuk melihat hubungan mediasi tersebut apakah tergantung dari increasing challenging job demands. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala kebosanan kerja (∝ = 0.714), persepsi beban kerja rendah (∝ = 0.75), positive meaning in work (∝ = 0.87), dan increasing challenging job demands (∝ = 0.83). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan kriteria karyawan yang lahir pada tahun 1982-1999 dan telah bekerja minimal 6 bulan pada pekerjaan saat ini. Analisis data menggunakan PROCESS HAYES model 4 untuk model mediasi dan model 14 untuk model mediasi moderasi. Data dari 327 partisipan menunjukkan bahwa positive meaning in work memediasi hubungan antara persepsi beban kerja rendah dan kebosanan kerja dan increasing challenging job demands juga ditemukan memiliki peran moderasi dalam hubungan positive meaning in work dan kebosanan kerja. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic threatens students' psychological well-being. Distress and loneliness are prevalent psychological problems related to mobility restriction and "stay-at-home" instruction. University students are vulnerable to dealing with mental health problems and experience a decrease in psychological well-being during the pandemic. This study was to examine whether loneliness plays a moderating role in relationships between distress and psychological well-being. This research was conducted in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and evaluated how loneliness and distress affect students' well-being since then. A total of 747 students (female = 566, Mage = 20,2 years) participated through the purposive technique. We used three instruments: the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (α=0,926), the UCLA Loneliness Scale (α=0,722), and the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-Being Scale (α=0,932). Our moderation analysis showed that psychological distress significantly decreased psychological well-being (F = 306, p < 0,01). The role of loneliness as a moderator in the relationship between distress and psychological well-being also showed a significant moderation model (F = 161, p < 0,01). Loneliness contributes to a decrease in students' psychological well-being who experience psychological distress. Distres psikologis dan kesepian merupakan masalah psikologis yang berkaitan dengan pembatasan mobilitas dan instruksi stay at home. Selama masa pandemi, mahasiswa rentan terhadap masalah psikologis dan mengalami penurunan kesejahteraan psikologis. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menguji apakah kesepian berperan sebagai moderasi dalam hubungan antara distres dan kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada konteks pandemi COVID-19 dan berupaya melihat bagaimana pengaruh kesepian dan distres pada kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa. Sebanyak 747 mahasiswa (perempuan = 566, Musia = 20.2 tahun) berpartisipasi secara purposive sampling. Tiga instrumen digunakan: Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (α=0,926), UCLA Loneliness Scale (α=0,722), dan Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-Being Scale (α=0,932). Analisis moderasi menunjukkan bahwa distres psikologis memiliki peran signifikan dalam menurunkan kesejahteraan psikologis (F = 306, p < 0,01). Peran kesepian sebagai moderator dalam hubungan antara distres terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis juga menunjukkan model yang signifikan (F = 161, p < 0,01). Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of inclusive leadership on psychological safety mediated by trust in management. Based on the conservation of resources theory, inclusive leadership serves as external resources that enable individuals to have higher trust in management which in turn will enhance their psychological safety. Participants in this study were healthcare workers, i.e., doctors and nurses, from two private hospitals in Medan (N = 241). Data were obtained both offline by paper and pencil survey and online via g-form for those who were convenient with the online form of survey. The instruments used were the inclusive leadership scale (a = 0,94), psychological safety (a = 0,71), and trust in management scale (a = 0,92). The sampling technique used was convenient sampling, and data were analyzed using Hayes’ PROCESS macro version 4.1) on SPSS software. The results showed that trust in management partially mediated the relationship between inclusive leadership and psychological safety. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara kepemimpinan inklusif dengan keamanan psikologis melalui kepercayaan terhadap manajemen. Berdasarkan teori konservasi sumber daya, atasan yang menampilkan perilaku inklusif akan menjadi sumberdaya bagi individu yang dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan mereka pada manajemen, dan kepercayaan pada manajemen pada gilirannya akan menjadi sumberdaya bagi individu untuk meningkatkan perasaan aman secara psikologis di organisasi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan tenaga kesehatan, yaitu dokter dan perawat, dari dua rumah sakit swasta di Medan (N = 241). Data diperoleh secara online menggunakan g-form dan offline dengan mendatangi partisipan di tempat mereka bekerja dan memberikan kuesioner tertulis. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah convenient sampling, dan pengambilan data hanya dilakukan pada dokter dan perawat yang bersedia berpartisipasi pada saat pengambilan data. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah kepemimpinan inklusif (a = 0,94), persepsi keamanan psikologis (a = 0,71), dan kepercayaan pada manajemen (a = 0,92). Data dianalisis menggunakan macro-PROCESS versi 4.1 dari Hayes pada SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan pada manajemen memediasi hubungan antara kepemimpinan inklusif dan keamanan psikologis secara parsial. Implikasi teori dan praktis dari penelitian akan didiskusikan. Kata kunci: Keamanan Psikologis; Kepemimpinan Inklusif; Kepercayaan pada Manajemen; Tenaga Kesehatan; Teori Konservasi Sumber Daya.

Abstract

Abstract Psoriasis is a skin-based autoimmune disease. Individuals creating self-stigma often internalize stigma about skin disease. Self-stigma was found to reduce the quality of life of psoriatic individuals. Self-compassion is thought to weaken the impact of self-stigma on quality of life. However, this has yet to be studied within the psoriatic. This study aims to determine and understand the role of self-compassion as a moderator of the effect of self-stigma on the quality of life of psoriatic individuals. An explanatory mixed-method study was conducted. Quantitatively, through purposive sampling, 167 individuals aged 18-65 years diagnosed with psoriasis for at least two years were involved. Instruments used were Psoriasis Internalized Stigma Scale, Self-Compassion Scale, and Dermatology Life Quality Index, processed through Hayes Macro PROCESS moderating analysis technique. Qualitatively, data were obtained through interviews with two participants and analyzed thematically. Results showed that self-compassion could not be a significant moderator, and several factors were considered more influential. Future study needs to consider personality factors. Although self-compassion could not significantly moderate, its effect on self-stigma could still be considered for intervention. Keywords: Psoriasis; self-compassion; self-stigma; quality of life Abstrak Psoriasis adalah penyakit autoimun yang menyerang kulit. Stigma yang beredar terkait penyakit kulit kerap diinternalisasi menjadi self-stigma dan ditemukan mengurangi tingkat kualitas hidup individu psoriasis. Self-compassion diduga dapat melemahkan dampak dari self-stigma terhadap kualitas hidup. Namun hal ini belum pernah diteliti pada kelompok psoriasis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami peran self-compassion sebagai moderator antara pengaruh self-stigma terhadap kualitas hidup individu psoriasis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed-method eksplanatori. Secara kuantitatif, melalui purposive sampling, penelitian melibatkan 167 individu berusia 18-65 tahun yang telah didiagnosis psoriasis selama setidaknya dua tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Psoriasis Internalized Stigma Scale(a=0,92), Self-Compassion Scale(a=0,87), dan Dermatology Life Quality Index(a=0,99), diolah menggunakan teknik analisis moderasi Macro PROCESS Hayes. Data kualitatif didapatkan melalui wawancara terhadap dua partisipan dan diolah dengan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion tidak dapat berperan sebagai moderator yang signifikan. Hasil wawancara menemukan beberapa faktor yang diduga lebih berpengaruh dalam melemahkan pengaruh self-stigma terhadap kualitas hidup. Penelitian selanjutnya perlu mempertimbangkan faktor kepribadian individu. Meskipun tidak secara signifikan memoderasi, self-compassion dinilai potensial untuk membantu permasalahan self-stigma sehingga dapat dipertimbangkan dalam intervensi. Abstract

Abstract The economy and education levels in Indonesia which continue to grow are not directly proportional to the increase in women employees. One of the factors that make Indonesian women underrepresented in the workforce is the family factor, women decided to leave work when they are married. This study aims to examine the effect of work-life balance in mediating the relationship between work-family culture and organizational commitment of women employees in the hope women employees are more committed to the organization because of the availability of supportive organizational culture. The instruments used are the work-family culture scale (∝ = 0.84), work-life balance (∝ = 0.88), and organizational commitment (∝ = 0.72). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and the participants are 120 women employees in the banking industry. Data analysis used PROCESS Hayes model 4 (simple mediation). The results showed that work-life balance fully mediates the relationship between work-family culture and organizational commitment. This study provides an understanding of the importance of implementing a work-family culture to balance work and life demand in order to make employees more committed to the organization. Keywords: Female employees; organizational commitment; Work-family culture; Work-life balance Abstrak Tingkat ekonomi dan pendidikan di Indonesia yang terus tumbuh ternyata tidak berbanding lurus dengan bertambahnya tenaga kerja perempuan. Salah satu faktor kurangnya partisipasi pekerja perempuan di Indonesia adalah faktor keluarga yaitu perempuan memutuskan untuk keluar dari pekerjaan karena sudah berkeluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work-life balance dalam memediasi hubungan work-family culture dan organizational commitment karyawan wanita sehingga diharapkan karyawan wanita lebih berkomitmen terhadap organisasi karena budaya organisasi yang mendukung. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala work family culture (∝= 0.84), work-life balance (∝ = 0.88), dan organizational commitment (∝= 0.72).Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan kriteria karyawan wanita di industri perbankan dan didapatkan 120 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan PROCESS Hayes model 4 (mediasi sederhana). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work-life balance memediasi secara sempurna hubungan antara work-family culture dan organizational commitment. Studi ini memberikan pemahaman akan pentingnya menerapkan work-family culture untuk menyeimbangkan tuntutan kehidupan pekerjaan dan pribadi sehingga membuat karyawan lebih berkomitmen pada organisasi.
