Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of word of mouth and experience quality on the decision of choosing a school with the mediation of perceived value and brand image. The population of this study is 102 parents who had sent their children to Surya Buana Kindergarten and Playgroup and sent their children to Surya Buana Islamic Elementary School following their graduation, all of which were selected as the sample. This study uses a quantitative approach which is based on research problems and research objective and is categorized as explanatory research. The samples were selected using nonprobability sampling, which means that information retrieval carried out in the population does not have any inherent probability of being chosen as the sample subject. Sampling is limited to certain types of people who can provide the desired information or commonly referred to as Purposive Sampling. The instrument used in this study is questionnaires that were analyzed in SmartPLS 3.0. This study finds that word of mouth and experience quality is insignificant for decision making. However, they are significant for decision making if mediated by perceived value and brand image. Next researches can incorporate variables that influence decision making such as satisfaction, price, demographic variable and other variables to be able to improve strategies in improving decision making in school selection.

EBIT which is the company's profitability performance is affected by gross profit. FCF is the company's liquidity performance which is influenced by EBITDA and CAPEX. Principal payments are the company's liquidity performance that is affected by liabilities. DSCR, corporate solvency performance is influenced by the principal payment ratio, (3) the decline in Chinese GDP is anticipated by lowering production costs, general and administrative costs, sales and marketing costs, and CAPEX, have an impact on increasing the financial flexibility of the company and its DSCR. The study population was SMEs Batik practitioners in East Java. The sampling technique used multistage sampling, the first step was to determine the area of research and then determine the batik SMEs of 125 respondents using census methods. Data analysis techniques using SEM-PLS. The results showed that financial knowledge has a significant effect on financial behavior, but financial knowledge has no effect on financial attitudes. Financial attitudes also do not affect financial behavior. Financial knowledge, financial attitudes, and financial behavior have a significant effect on the financial well-being of SMEs Batik. Future studies should be able to use proxies or other indicators for financial attitudes and do groupings based on the characteristics of batik SMEs such as education, length of business, family background, and training opportunities.
