Abstract

Infants under five years old (Toddlers) is one of the goals posyandu quite important, becausea toddler is a sizeable proportion of the composition of the population of Indonesia, so theanalysis of the factors that encourage mothers to visit keposyandu needs to be done (MOH,RI 2007) .Ibu which do not weigh their babies to Posyandu terpantaunya can cause growthand development of infants. Toddlers are not weighed consecutive nutritional risk situationdeteriorated so impaired growth (MOH, 2006). The purpose of this study to determine thefactors associated with the level of participation of the community to visit keposyandu, in thevillage Lahendong South Tomohon sub districtThis research is a survey research with descriptive approach. Number of samples 45 people,the study was conducted in South Tomohon sub district KelurahanLahendong for 1 week.Respondents in this study were mothers with young children and mothers who are willing tobecome respondents, data collection in this study by using a questionnaire. The resultsshowed the majority of toddlers rarely below to Posyandu, that there are as many (75.6%)infants were not under posyandu faithful bbulan. Factors influencing that there is one factorage, maternal age, maternal education, and the role of cadres Posyandu distance. Based onthe research results also in the know that of all five factors that most influence on people'sparticipation, namely age, maternal age, and distance posyandu.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan salah satu faktor risiko yang paling berpengaruhterhadap kejadian penyakit jantung dan pembuluh darah. Faktor-faktor determinanterjadinya penyakit kronis termasuk hipertensi adalah pola hidup yang tidak sehatseperti kebiasaan merokok, minum alkohol, pola makan dan obesitas, aktivitasfisik yang kurang, stres dan pencemaran lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian untukmengetahui hubungan konsumsi makanan ekstrim dengan kejadian hipertensiorang dewasa usia 18 – 40 tahun di Puskesmas Rurukan.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif observasional. Penelitian inimenggambarkan kejadian hipertensi pada subjek yang mempunyai kebiasaanmengkonsumsi makan yang dianggap ekstrim. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan diwilayah Puskesmas Rurukan Kecamatan Tomohon Timur Kota Tomohon. yangdilaksanakan padabulan Maret sampai April 2014. Populasi dalam penelitian iniadalah seluruh penduduk yang berusia 18–40 tahun. Sampel dalam penelitian inisebesar 138 orang ditentukan berdasarkan rumus besar sampel estimating thedifference beetween two population proportions sedangkan penentuan subjekdalam penelitian diambil secara sistematik random sampling. Instrumen yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner, formulir FFQ Semi kuantitatif,tensi meterHasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi makanan ekstrim padaorang dewasa usia 18–40 tahun di Puskesmas Rurukan >2 kali/hari sebanyak 75orang (54,35%). Kejadian hipertensi pada orang dewasa usia 18–40 tahun diPuskesmas Rurukan paling banyak berada pada kategori tingkat ringan (140/90mmHg). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermaknaantara konsumsi makanan ekstrim dengan kejadian hipertensi pada orang dewasausia 18 – 40 tahun di Puskesmas Rurukan (p= 0,032)Konsumsi makanan ekstrim pada orang dewasa usia 18–40 tahun di PuskesmasKesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu tidak ada hubunganantara mengkonsumsimakanan ekstrim dengan kejadian hipertensi di wilayah Puskesmas Rurukankecamatan Tomohon Timur Kota Tomohon.

Abstract

The nutrition service of the hospital is a community nutrition needs fulfillment activities toimproving health as well as to correct abnormalities in the metabolism of the body in theframework of preventive efforts (prevention), promotif, curative and rehabilitative.The patientreceived power of food served can be seen from the rest of the food. The success of anorganization can be assessed from the food there is absence of leftovers, so leftovers can beused as indicators for evaluating the activities of the Organization of the hospital food.Thepurpose of the research: find out the factors of occurrence of leftovers mental patients treated inpsychiatric hospitals, Prof. Dr. v. l. Ratumbuysang Manado. Types of observational analyticstudy.Research conducted in July 2014 in a mental hospital, Prof. Dr. v. l. Ratumbuysang.Populations in the study are all patients with psychiatric disorders and sample as many as 67people and sampling based on purposive sampling.Data collected data record medic,leftovers.Data analysis to answer hypotheses using Test Chi Square statistical tests. The resultis that like to eat spicy and fried-fried foods (74.6%) don't eat spicy and fried-fried foods (25.4%),the patient's psychic soul belongs to the continental level (6%), the level was as much as (94percent). Organization of the food in the hospital who are satisfied with the appearance of food(97 percent), taste (94 percent). Leftovers in patients who successfully found on fruit are (were95.5 percent). Conclusion: there is a relationship of eating habits with the rest of the food animalside (p = 0.03), There is no relationship with the rest of the rice eating habits (p = 0,52),vegetable side dish (p = 0.48), vegetable (p = 0.42), fruit (p = 0.75), there was no relationshippsychic with the remaining rice (p = 0,52), animal side (p = 0.27), vegetable side dish (p = 0.32),vegetable (p = 0.16), fruit (p = 0,83), there was no relationship with the food the food'sappearance at Rice (p = 0.21, animal side (p = 0.53), vegetable side dish (p = 0.42), vegetable(p = 0,62), fruit (p = 0.92). The taste of food, rice (p = 0.63), animal side (p = 0.63), animal side(p = 0,71), vegetable side dish (p = 0.32), vegetable (p = 0.16), fruit (p = 0,83)

Abstract

Child growth include the growth and development of organs cells. Growth is measuredby the physical dimensions of the present picture of the state of nutrition. Growth can beused as an indicator of the adequacy of inputs of nutrients essential because it can bemeasured by the volume of the child's weight gain. Motor development is a process thatmust be passed in a child's life. One of the child's motor skills are gross motor skillsrelated to movement skills that are affected by the large muscles such as : standing,walking, running and jumping. Learning is a process of the work done for someone toacquire a new behavior changes as a whole as his own experience in the interactionwith the environment. Learning means filling activities or the development of cognitiveabilities with the fact that as many students mastered.Survey research methods used (non-experimental) with the cross-sectional design.Exceptional location at the School of Peace in Tomohon is from August to October2013, amounting to 40 students. Statistical analysis used were t - test and Pearson'scorrelation test.Results The average intake of gluten students as much as 247.50 g, average 19.75 gcasein intake, correlation test showed no association between gluten intake in growingchildren (p= 0.881), there was no association between gluten intake with academicachievement children (p= 0.411), there was no correlation between casein intake withgrowth of children (p= 0.319 ), and there is a relationship between the intake of caseinto academic achievement (p= 0,04)

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus type 2 or Non Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (NIDDM) is a metabolicdisease caused by a progressive disorder of insulin secretion and insulin resistance. Thepurpose of researchis to analyze the correlation between the behavior of economic loss(Economic Loss) on Endocrine Polyclinic Hospital. Prof. Dr.R.D.Kandou Manado in 2013. Thisresearch isquantitative research design Cross-sectional study. The research was conducted twomount in the department clinical’s Endokrine of Prof Dr.R.D. Kandou Manado Hospital with 239people sampled purposively selected. Collecting data using questionnaires. Data was analyzedusing univariate, bivariate and multivariate analyzes.The results showed thatthere was norelationship between knowledge (p =0.391), attitude to diet (p=0.524) with economic losses(Economic Loss), andthere is a relationship between adherence to the diet (p=0.002) andinterest in physical activity (p=0.007) with economic losses.

Abstract

Malnutrition in developing countries ( 47-50 % ) is higher as compared to developedcountries is 20-46 % . Some research results reinforce that opinion , where theprevalence of malnutrition in patients new entry in Latin America shows 50.2 points and3 major hospitals in Indonesia ( Sardjito hospital Yogyakarta , Sanglah hospital Bali,Jamil hospital Padang) reported 56.9 % .The results showed a significant increase in albumin levels in patients who receivedpostoperative dietary extra filtrate cork fish . Increase in serum albumin was also noadverse effect to the increase in blood triglycerides . As research results Suprayitno et al. (2003 ) , showed that administration of filtrate cork fish can increase levels of serumalbumin and a new wound healing scar . A set of case studies , providing extrainformation that the administration menu filtrate cork fish was positively correlated withincreased levels of albumin and wound healing process . Increased levels of albumin ,patients who have an extra menu filtrate cork fish are relatively higher than white eggs.The problems of the study is how the effectiveness of catfish protein in patients withhypoalbuminemia indication . Benefits of this research include: to provide a newalternative in the management of diet especially in patients with hypoalbuminemiaindication .This research uses a quasi-experimental design of pre and post test , this study willprovide an overview of the effectiveness of cork fish protein in patients withhypoalbuminemia indication . The experiment was conducted in the department of Prof. .Dr. . R.D. Kandou Manado in July - September 2013 . The population in this study wereall patients with hypoalbuminemia indications shown by the results of laboratory tests .Of the subjects in this study 16 patients with criteria for men and women , cooperative ,and approved informed consent and the approval of the hospital and ethics committeethe Ministry of Health polytechnic Manado . Subjects using the technique of determiningsubjective instrument global assessment ( SGA ).Processing and data analysis using univariate analysis to determine thecharacteristics of the frequency distribution of the variable . Bivariate test by using apaired t - test . Then followed by a multivariate analysis using linear regression .Theresults are significant differences in albumin before and albumin after intervention with -average increase of 0.31 mg / dl . Multivariate test variables explained that the effect ofthe intake of energy , protein , fat and duration of cork fish nuggets on levels of albuminby 60 % , the rest is influenced by other variables not amined .Conclusion there are differences in initial levels of albumin and albumin levels after theend of the intervention, and no catfish nugget effect of the increase in albumin levels ofpatients with hypoalbuminemia

Abstract

Overall this number about 4.4 million deaths (7.9% of the world's total deaths) and40.4 million Disability Adjused Life Year (2.8% incidence). This study aimed toanalyze the effect of nutritional counseling on dietary adherence in patients withhypercholesterolemia nutrition clinic General Hospital Bitung.This type of research is a quasi experiment with the design of the study one grouppretest-posttest design without comparison. Was held in July 2014 in nutrition clinicGeneral Hospital Bitung. The variables in the study consisted of a dependent variablethat dietary compliance and the independent variables are nutritional counseling. Thepopulation of all patients with the disease hypercholesterolemia. The number ofsamples determined 35 consecutif sampling.Most research results obtained samples with male gender and age> 35 years. Dataanalysis using Wilcoxon test values obtained significancy 0,000 (ρ <0.05) while usingthe backward method LR indicates that the influence dietary compliance anddecreased levels of blood cholesterol is the nutritional status (BMI). The conclusion ofthis study that the nutritional status variables are variables that are considered themost influence on dietary adherence and decrease blood cholesterol levels after beinggiven counseling.

Protein intakein the treatment groupbeforesupplementationwith an averageof49.16gand50.93gthereafter, andprotein intakein the control group48.36g, thenaftergiving48.37g. Concentrationstudentsbefore08.00hoursin the morningsupplementationin thetreatment group52.12pointsand45.81pointsin the control group, thenthe concentrationofstudentsat10.00am50.16pointsin the treatment group, thecontrol group43.57points.Iodineintakebeforegivingsupplementationin the treatment groupis47.09g, andaftergiving78.73g,iodineintakein the control groupbeforesupplementation46.87g, 74.34gandafter being given.Conclusion. There is noeffect ofsupplementationon theintakeof iodizedeggprotein(P =0.771), noeffect ofsupplementationoneggiodizediodineintake(p =0.000), andthere isthe effectofsupplementationof iodizedeggsatthe concentrations studied(p =0.029).

Abstract

Hypercholesterolemia is one type of blood lipid profile abnormalities (dyslipidemia), whichis marked by high levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL) and triglyceride levelsand cholesterol levels of High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) is low. Hipertensia dalah a stateof blood pressure ≥ 140/90 mmHg, the disease is not contagious but can cause death.This study aims to determine the application of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) inhypercholesterolemic patients with hypertension complication of hospitalization in thedepartment of Prof. BLU Dr. R.D Kandou Manado.This research is a descriptive study design used is a case study, the number of samples 1person who meets the inclusion criteria. This research was carried out for 2 weeks in June2014, housed diruangan Prof Dr Irina C BLU Dr R. D. Kandou Manado. Assessment NCPstages namely nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, and monitoring and evaluation ofnutrition intervention processed and analyzed descriptively.The results were obtained prior to the study showed patients cholesterol levels were highat 280 mg / dl and high blood pressure is 160/120 mm Hg. Nenergi asupa level, proteins,fats and carbohydrates are severe deficit (<70%) and nutritional status of the patient isobese (BMI 27.34 kg / m2). After a study of total cholesterol to 219 mg / dl (mediumcontrol criteria), and blood pressure of 120/80 mmHg be (normal). To the level of energyintake be 70.28% (moderate deficit), 72.85% protein (moderate deficit), fat 70.37%(moderate deficit), carbohydrates 67.01% (defisitberat) and decreased by 1 kg of bodyweight and nutritional status of the patient is overweight (26.95 kg / m2). Conclusiondecrease total cholesterol and blood pressure checks, as well as increased energy andnutrient intake of the patients but has not reached the tiers supan good.

Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is a condition where a person experiences anincrease in blood pressure above normal or chronic (a long time). Overweight(obesity), an inactive lifestyle (lazy exercise), stress, alcohol or salt in the diet; canlead to hypertension in people have lowered sensitivity. This study aimed todetermine the risk factors for hypertension in patients in the department of internalclinic Prof. dr. R. D. Kandou Manado.The study design was a case-control studies, in which the risk factors studiedretrospectively. The population in this study were all patients diagnosed withhypertension who visit the clinic of internal department of Prof. dr. R.D. KandouManado for cases and controls with an average visits in one month as many as 60people. While the sample in this study is the total population. Research carried outfor 1 month is the Moon in December 2013 in the internal clinic located in thedepartment of Prof. dr. R.D. Kandou Manado.The results showed a habit of meat consumption is not a risk factor for theoccurrence of hypertension in which the values of p> 0.05 (0.297). Likewise, thehabit of drinking alcohol is not a risk factor for hypertension in which the value of p>0.05 (0.301). However, obesity is a risk factor for the occurrence of hypertension inwhich the value of p <0.05 (0.001) which means that there is a significantassociation between obesity and hypertension. Based on the results of the study itcan be concluded that : Freedom of meat and alcohol consumption is not a riskfactor for hypertension, while obesity is a risk factor for hypertension in patients inthe clinic internal department of Prof. dr. R.D. Kandou Manado. It is recommendedfor patients to pay attention to the ideal weight and is expected to further researchexamining other risk factors of hypertension.
