Abstract

Purpose: This research aims at designing a computer algorithm for automatic waste sorting.Design/methodology/apprach: This research is quantitative and uses secondary data, specifically images of various types of waste. The images will be classified into organic and inorganic waste types with the assistance of a deep learning model. In this research, we propose the EfficientNet method for Waste Type Identification as an Effort in Plastic Waste Management. Experiments were conducted on a secondary dataset from Kaggle.com, which involved classifying various types of waste into 'Plastic' and 'Non-Plastic' categories, showing the effectiveness of the proposed method.Findings/result: The measurement is performed to compute the accuracy of the designed deep learning model in classifying waste images into the appropriate waste types. Based on the research results, our system achieved the highest accuracy of 97% during testing.Originality/value/state of the art: The designed method can perform fast and automatic waste sorting, which is useful in reducing the increasing amount of waste accumulating each year.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the factors that affect the intention to use and satisfaction of GoPayLater users in Yogyakarta, by assessing the relationship between variables so that recommendation for improvent can be given.Design/methodology/approach: This study uses the DeLone & McLean adoption model by Seddon which includes 5 constructs namely system quality, information quality, perceived usefulness, intention to use and user satisfaction. Primary data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires using likert scale measurement to 128 GoPayLater users. The data analysis technique used is SEM-PLS to test the measurement model, structural model and test the hypothesis via SmartPLS software.Findings/results:Based on the results of hypothesis testing in this study, two hypotheses were rejected from eight hypothesises. These findings indicate that perceived usefulness has a positive and significant effect on intention to use, while the variables of system quality and information quality do not have a significant effect directly on intention to use GoPayLater. The R-Square test results show that system quality, information quality and perceived usefulness simultaneously have an effect of 34,4% on intention to use GoPayLater. This study also proves that variables of system quality, information quality and perceived usefulness have a positive and significant effect on GoPayLater user satisfacion, with the level of influence given simultaneously is 51,7% .Originality/value/state of the art: Several previous studies have tested GoPayLater from various aspects, but no research has been found that assesses the relationship and effect of system quality, information quality and perceived usefulness on intention to use and user satisfaction using the DeLone & McLean adoption model by Seddon.

Abstract

Purpose: This research produces a webGIS design that presents the geospatial location of buildings in the Krapyak Yogyakarta boarding school area to facilitate users outside the area when heading to the location of the boarding school whose buildings are scattered.Design/methodology/approach: By combining aerial photos from UAV mapping with Open Street Map. The combined results of both maps are presented in a webGIS built from HTML, CSS and OpenLayers scripting.Findings/result: Building a webGIS to present information on the location of Krapyak Islamic boarding schools that has been equipped with corrected coordinates and routes from the iconic city of Yogyakarta so that immigrants from outside the area can easily understand the use of the webgis. Originality/value/state of the art: From previous research, webGIS development only uses maps presented through openstreetmap where if users use existing online navigation applications have different coordinate system references (Soraya R, 2018). So by equalizing the map reference by combining the results of UAV mapping and correcting the shape of the building presented on openstreetmap, the spatial information from the webgis will have a position accuracy that is more in line with the truth.

Abstract

Purpose: Sorting waste before it is deposited in the Final Disposal Site (TPA) is crucial to reduce the increasing amount of waste accumulation each year. This issue can be addressed by implementing machines capable of automatically sorting waste.Design/methodology/approach: This research is quantitative and utilizes secondary data, namely image data of various types of waste. The images will be classified into organic and inorganic waste using a deep learning model. The measurement conducted involves assessing the accuracy of the designed deep learning model in classifying waste images into appropriate categories.Fondings/results: Based on the available dataset, waste identification will be performed, including food waste, paper, wood, leaves, electronic waste, metal, plastic, and bottles. The overall accuracy of the model is 94.42%, indicating that the model correctly classifies 94.42% of waste samples.Originality/value/state of the art: This research can classify 8 types of waste classes successfully using deep learning.

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this research is to provide support to apple fans and farmers in determining the choice of fruit that is ripe and ready to be consumed, using indicators of outer skin color as a basis for classification.Design/methodology/approach: The approach uses the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method to classify the level of ripeness of apples based on skin color. KNN is used as a classification method. This approach utilizes the similarity of skin color with training data to determine the level of maturity. The evaluation results showed an accuracy of 90%, making it an effective approach for identifying the ripeness level of apples.Findings/result: From the results of the system evaluation of 206, it shows an accuracy level of 90% with a sensitivity of 80% and a specificity of 67% as measured by the Hold Out Estimation model.Originality/value/state of the art: This research uses test data/testing data originating from Kaggle and Google as well as several photos taken directly. In total, 206 images of apples were used.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to conduct a study of the perceptions of digital wallet users and how users' reactions influence the benefits of digital wallets in the big city of JakartaDesign/methodology/approach: The research method applied is a quantitative method. The population of this research is digital wallet users in the city of Jakarta. The number of samples applied was 121 respondents according to the purposeful sampling method. The data testing methods applied are convergent validity, discriminant validity, composite reliability and Cronbanch alpha. Data calculations apply Smart PLS 3 software. The results of this study show that trust and perceived risk do not influence user preferences for using digital walletsFindings/result: The results of this research constantly support a number of previous studies related to TAM where perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use play a direct and indirect role in interest in using digital wallets. So the community's perceived usefulness is a variable that has a prominent influence on the preferences of digital wallet users in the city of Jakarta.Originality/value/state of the art: The steps taken from the start of the study to its conclusion were designed to use the TAM approach to determine how the public felt about this particular study. This study uses quantitative research methods and yields two models: an inner model, or structural model, that includes path analysis through Smart PLS 3 data analysis, and an outer model, or measurement model, that includes composite reliability, conbranch alpha, discriminant validity, and convergent validity.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to produce a Tahsin Tracker application as a tool to overcome several problems in managing tahsin guidance organized by the Islamic Studies and Development Institute (LPSI) UAD for lecturers and education staff.Design/method/approach: The method used in system development by applying general software development methods. The stages adopted include data collection, needs analysis (user and system), design (process, database and interface), implementation (database and program, and system testing. Results: A Mobile Web-based Tahsin Tracker application has been produced and has been tested on potential users using black box and SUS testing. Black box testing is 100% valid. The SUS test obtained a score of 79. Based on the SUS score of 79, the application is in the Acceptance Range: ACCEPTABLE, Grade Scale: C, and Adjective Rating: EXCELLENT category.Originality/state of the art: Based on previous research, as well as the results of the development of existing tahsin applications, this research adopts and complements existing deficiencies and produces new assessments of the features and usability in related units, because it replaces the manual method of book record basis, and becomes the main alternative for developing institutional service media in a better direction.
