Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between minority Muslim families and those of non-Muslims in Banjarasri, Kalibawang, Kulon Progo Yogyakarta; and to find out the religious diversity motivation of the Muslim families. This study used descriptive qualitative method by applying a phenomenological approach. The data were garnered using observation and interview. This study revealed that the acculturation of arts, cultures, and social community made Muslim families and non-Muslim families live side by side. The religious motivation of Muslim minority for the sake of maintaining their faith rested upon both extrinsic and intrinsic motivations. Extrinsically, it could be seen from the strong influence of the mosque administrators, the power of various religious activities to enhance religious awareness, and the solid cohesiveness of the group to strengthen as well as protect religious motivation. Intrinsically, the religious motivation of Muslims in Banjarsari was basically the effect of self-awareness by reasons of their minor position, so that such motivation yielded strong inner capacity from each Muslim family to revive and get more deeply into Islam.

Abstract

Manajemen Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler dalam Mengembangkan Minat dan Bakat di SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen. Kajiannya dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti tentang pengelolaan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah tersebut yang terdapat beberapa bidang ekstrakurikuler aktif dan sering meraih prestasi. Dalam hal ini, tentu manajemen kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berjalan efektif karena sekolah ini sangat fokus dalam pembinaannya. Studi ini dibuat untuk menjawab pertanyaan: Pertama, Bagaimana manajemen perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam mengembangkan minat dan bakat di SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen? Kedua, Bagaimana manajemen pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler untuk mengembangkan minat dan bakat di SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen? Ketiga, Bagaimana manajemen evaluasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler untuk mengembangkan minat dan bakat di SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen? Permasalahan tersebut dibahas melalui studi lapangan yang dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Sekolah tersebut dijadikan sebagai sumber data untuk mendapatkan potret implementasi pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam mengembangkan minat dan bakat. Data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Seluruh data dianalisis dengan alur reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Manajemen Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler dalam Mengembangkan Minat dan Bakat di SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, Dalam aspek perencanaan, seluruh pihak yang terlibat dalam bidang ekstrakurikuler di SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen mampu merencanakan tugasnya dengan baik, diantaranya memuat tujuan program yang jelas, rencana kerja yang teratur, pembinaan yang optimal. Kedua, Dalam aspek pelaksanaan, SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen memuat susunan organisasi, pembagian tugas, sarana dan prasarana, dan sumber dana, demikian itu telah diatur dengan baik sesuai dengan program kerja yang telah disusun sebelumnya. Ketiga, Sedangkan dalam aspek evaluasi dilakukan dimulai dari tingkat evaluasi pembina dalam bentuk tertulis dan praktik, serta evaluasi secara menyeluruh baik dalam hal teknis maupun pelaksanaan oleh waka kesiswaan berkoodinasi dengan kepala sekolah secara langsung.

Abstract

The effects of the pandemic in the world of education have as many influences as the adjustment of learning models. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of blended learning as an alternative to online education in the new normal era. This was an experimental study with a one-shot case study design conducted in several public high schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The respondents involved in this study were 70 teachers who were determined using a simple random sampling technique. The data was collected by using a questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the effect of the effectiveness of the application of the blended learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results showed that the effectiveness of educational programs after using blended learning is 95.05%, much higher than the effectiveness of educational programs before using blended learning with a score of 73.24%. The blended learning model affects the effectiveness of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic by 85.20%. Learning during the COVID-19 pandemic that implements the blended learning model will run more effectively and more successfully. Schools need to apply the blended learning model because the use of this method is effective, efficient, and more successful in the new normal era.

Abstract

Family resilience is very important for minority Muslim societies. The family and environmental factors become the main thing. The role of parent and community leaders is one of the keys to the success of strengthening religious aspects for minority Muslims. This research will seek to answer the questions about how to strengthen religious education for family security among minority Muslims. This research approach used a descriptive narrative. It related the life experience of a person or group which was important data of explaining the meaning of the phenomenon to be studied. The participants of this research were the parents and community leaders of Banjarasri Kulon Progo village of Yogyakarta which total were 12 persons. The data collection techniques used: (1) observation; (2) in-depth interviews. Data analysis used analytical coding, where this analysis described the story, chronologically the events that become a turning point with the stages of data organization, reading, describing data in codes and themes, classification of data, interpreting data, and presenting data. The research findings related to strengthening the values of religious education in Muslim minority families carried out in three ways, namely: (1) strengthening in the field of creed and morals; (2) strengthening in education, and (3) strengthening in economics.

Abstract

The spread of Covid-19 has had a significant impact on education, especially in the field of religion. The purpose of this study was to see how the pandemic affected the efforts of Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta to increase student religiosity. The participants in this study were eight students and university officials from Ahmad Dahlan University in Yogyakarta’s PAI Study Program. Purposive sampling was used as a technique for selecting study subjects. This study used an in-depth interview approach through an interview guide that had been made to collect data. Data analysis included stages such as grouping relevant themes or meanings from participant responses, describing textually and structurally, and fundamentally describing all important meanings into a complete picture of the phenomenological study findings experienced by participants. According to the findings, the Covid-19 pandemic had an effect on student religiosity. First, students’ religious spirit and motivation were diminished. Second, limited activities contribute to ennui among students. Third, the institution was working to develop policies and technological guidelines for the entire academic community’s activities. In addition, there was also optimization of social media for learning and strengthening religious activities through the campus’ official media channels.

Abstract

Muslim scientists tried to seek scientific the paradigm of Islamic studies in responding to modern science had three perspectives in view of science. First, the group that thought  that modern science was universal and neutral, and all science could be found in the Qur'an; Secondly, the group that  tried to bring science in Islamic countries; Third, the group that wanted to build a new paradigm (epistemology ) of Islam, the knowledge paradigm and the paradigm of behavior, focusing on the principles, concepts and values of Islam concerning search certain fields, and paradigms concerning search specific areas, and the paradigm of behavior decided the limits of ethic where scientists could freely work. This paradigm departed from the Qur'an instead of ending the Qur’an.

Abstract

The phenomenon of receiving the revelations of the Qur'an shocked many. This can be seen from the role of Prophet Muhammad SAW prepared gradually, a time full of indecisiveness in seeing the events, phenomena, and vision of the existing view, also participate in preparing the maturity of his soul, where the angel Jibril repeatedly introduce himself. Archangel Gabriel for the first time to introduce himself when he berkhalwat in Hira Cave, Gabriel asked Muhammad SAW read, and he rationed do not know, do not know what to read, until the angel Gabriel repeats three times, and he replied in a state completely confused Fear before knowing the unforeseen prophethood and first heard the Qur'an, its psychological charge in the education of mankind.

Abstract

The wisdom of memorizing the Koran will be won, whoever recites the Qur'an, learns, and practices, is applied to his parents' crown of light on the Day of Resurrection. The light is like sunlight and both parents are dressed in two glorious robes that were never found in the world. The virtue of memorizing the Qur'an: first, the Qur'an as a giver of intercession for the reader, understanding and practicing; secondly, the memorizers of the Qur'an have been promised by Allah SWT, thirdly, the Qur'an becomes Hujjah / defender for the reader and as a guardian of the torrent of hell fire. The special Qur'an reader memorizing the Qur'an quality and quantity of higher reading, will be with the angel always protect and invite to the good. As for psychological implications for the first Qur'an memorizers, as a drug distracted, anxious and anxious; secondly, memorizing the Qur'an to gain peace of mind, intelligence and boost learning achievement; third, the memorization of the Qur'an can reduce juvenile delinquency and tawuran; the memorization of the Qur'an will be highly rewarded by Allah and His Messenger; memorizing the Qur'an as a cure for anyone who reads and memorizes. Hikmahnya hafal al-Quran akan diperoleh kemenangan, barang siapa membaca al-Qur’an, mempelajari, dan mengamalkan, dipakaikan kepada orang tuanya mahkota dari cahaya pada hari kiamat. Cahayanya seperti cahaya matahari dan kedua orang tuanya dipakaikan dua jubah kemuliaan yang tidak pernah didapatkan di dunia. Keutamaan menghafal al-Qur’an: pertama, al-Qur’an sebagai pemberi syafa’at pada bagi pembaca, memahami dan mengamalkan; kedua, penghafal al-Qur’an telah dijanjikan derajatnya oleh Allah SWT, ketiga, al-Qur’an menjadi Hujjah/pembela bagi pembaca dan sebagai pelindung dari adzab api neraka. Pembaca al-Qur’an khusus penghafal al-Qur’an kualitas dan kuantitas bacaan lebih tinggi, akan bersama malaikat selalu melindungi dan mengajak kepada kebaikan. Adapun implikasi secara psikologi bagi penghafal al-Qur’an pertama, sebagai obat galau, cemas dan cemas; kedua, menghafal al-Qur’an untuk memperoleh ketenangan jiwa, kecerdasan dan mendongkrak prestasi belajar; ketiga, penghafal al-Qur’an dapat meredam kenakalan remaja dan tawuran; penghafal al-Qur’an akan mendapat penghargaan yang tinggi di sisi Allah dan Rasul-Nya; menghafal al-Qur’an sebagai obat bagi siapa saja yang membaca dan menghafalkan.

Abstract

Bung Karno sebagai Presiden pertama RI, bapak pendiri bangsa menegaskan bahwa: Bangsa ini harus dibangun dengan mendahulukan pembangunan karakter (character building), karena karakter  inilah yang akan membuat Indonesia menjadi  bangsa yang besar, maju dan bermartabat. Kalau character building ini tidak dilakukan, maka bangsa Indonesia akan menjadi bangsa kuli.  Karakter dapat dimaknai sebagai nilai dasar yang membangun pribadi seseorang, terbentuk karena pengaruh hereditas maupun pengaruh lingkungan, yang membedakannya dengan orang lain, serta diwujudkan dalam sikap dan perilakunya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: Pendidkan Karakter, Lingkungan
