Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the capital structure of coal companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange either partially or simultaneously. This type of research is explanatory research. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with amount of sample 19 coal companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis technique used multiple linear and hypothesis testing using partial t-test with a level of significance of 5%. The result of this research, asset structure has significant effect to capitalstructure, operating leverage has a significant effect on capital structure, the level of sales growth has a significant effect on capital structure, profitability has a significant effect on capital structure, and liquidity significantly affects the capital structure. Asset structure, operating leverage, sales growth rate, profitability, and liquidity simultaneously have a significant effect on the capital structure. Based on research finding, companies should have plans and strategies in financial management to establish an optimal capital structurein order to maximize company profits and value. By considering these factors it is expected that the management will be easier in determining the optimal capital structure.Keywords: capital structure (DER), asset structure, operating leverage (DOL), sales growth rate, profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR).

Abstract

      Aim of this study is to analyze the impact of organizational culture and financial compensation on salesman performance mediated by work ethic. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling and to analyze the impact between variabels used Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results showed that organizational culture and financial compensation had a significant effect on the work ethic and salesman performance, both directly and indirectly. Several previous studies relating to organizational culture, compensation, employee performance, and work ethics were carried out separately not yet reviewed simultaneously in a model that was tested through empirical data with a path analysis approach using PLS-SEM as has been done by this research. Companies need to foster and unite fellow members in the team so that there is a compact, harmonious relationship and all work productively so that salesman performance can be maximized according to company expectations. Financial compensation provided by the company needs to properly consider aspects of the needs of its employees. Independence at work needs to be evaluated and improved so that every salesman can work without being dependent on others. Keywords : organizational behavior, financial compensation, work ethic, salesman performance.

Abstract

       This study aims to determine the influence of Liquidity from Current Ratio (CR), Solvability from Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Profitability from Return On Investment (ROI) to Stock Prices with Corporate Value of Book Value (PBV) as a intervening variables. Infrastructure, transportation and transportation service companies provided on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2017 as research sample. Sampling technique using purposive sampling which then obtained a sample of 10 companies in the infrastructure, utilities and transportation sectors. The research data uses secondary data, namely the company's annual financial statements during 2011-2017 obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the company's official website. The analytical method used is path analysis (path analysis) using the PLS program SmartPLS 3.2.8 application. Liquidity and Profitability do not have a significant effect on Stock Prices while Solvability and Company Value influence significantly on Stock Prices. The Liquidity Value is not significant to the Firm Value but Solvability and Profitability significantly influence the Firm Value. Liquidity does not have a significant effect on Stock Prices through Company Value. While Profitability and Solvability have a significant effect on Stock Prices through Corporate Value. Keywords: liquidity, solvability, profitability, firm value, stock price.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of Advertising and Word of Mouth (WOM) on Brand Awareness, and Its Implications on Interest in Buying Good Day Instant Coffee Products on consumers in Burjo Andeska Jl. Seturan Raya, Yogyakarta. The research uses explanatory type. The population in this study is infinite. The sample size in this study was 69 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques using Descriptive Statistical Analysis and Inferential Statistical Analysis that uses the Path Analysis statistical method. The results of this study indicate that advertising has a significant effect on Brand Awareness, Word of Mouth (WOM) has a significant effect on Brand Awareness, Advertising has a significant effect on Purchase Interest, Word of Mouth (WOM) has a significant effect on Purchase Interest, There is a mediating effect on Advertising on Interest Buy through Brand Awareness, and there is a mediating effect of Word of Mouth (WOM) on Buy Interest through Brand Awareness. Key words: advertising, word of mouth (WOM), brand awareness, purchase intention

Abstract

        The problem of labor that is crammed into life is still a big problem and needs to be resolved. Employment control by male workers is an important part of achieving goals for the job itself. The main consideration of the use of male workers is that male workers have longer working hours and no time constraints such as female workers. Male workers have a greater power qualification than female workers, so male workers are the main choice and consideration for employment. Gardens wonosari tea district Lawang Malang regency, has now been employing many women workers as tea pickers. Working as tea pickers, in general can be done by male and female workers. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive and inferential approach. The research location is tea garden of wonosari PTPN XII Lawang with male worker object and female picker tea workers. X1 variable is male worker and X2 variable is female worker. The result of data processing by using SPSS shows that for variable X1 all question items are declared valid. Likewise, the reliability of data for variebel X1 otherwise reliable with alpha of 0.919 and varibel X2 with an alpha value of 0.688. While the regression value of Y = -1.055 + 0.162 XI + 0.214 X2 + 1.32749 and R Square / coefficient of determination which shows the value of 0.817 or 81.7%. This means that the contribution of male and female workers is 81.7%. and the rest is influenced by another variable of 18.3% outside the independent variables studied. Keywords: labor, male workers, female workers.

Abstract

      The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of brand experiences on brand attachment, brand trust on brand attachment, brand experiences on brand loyalty, brand trust on brand loyalty, and brand attachment on brand loyalty. The population in this study are customers of Nature Republic skin care products who have made purchases at least 2 times. Population size is infinite. The sample is 118 people aged Nature Republic skin care products, as many as 118 people. Research instrument with a questionnaire. The sampling technique was using systematic random sampling. Data analysis with SEM which is operated with the AMOS application. The results of the study explained that there was a significant influence of brand experiences on brand attachment, brand trust on brand attachment, brand experiences on brand loyalty, brand trust on brand loyalty, and brand attachment on brand loyalty. Keywords: brand experiences, brand attachment, brand trust , brand loyalty,

Abstract

      This research formulation of the problem is the effect of reward, punishment, work stress and work ability partially and simultaneously on the performance of employees at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 6 Yogyakarta. Descriptive research type with questionnaire as data source. As for the population in this study were all employees of PT.Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 6 Yogyakarta totaling 100 employees. The sample in this study were 50 employees, using the Slovin formula with a sampling technique used Probability Sampling, which is a sampling technique that provides equal opportunities for each population to be chosen as a member of the sample and the method used is proportional unstratified random sampling. multiple linear regression. In connection with the results of testing hypotheses, the results of this study indicate the influence of reward, punishment, work stress and work ability both partially and simultaneously. The effect of research results shows a positive direction, which means that a better reward, good punishment, good work stress and good work ability will improve employee performance. Keywords : Reward, Punishment, Job Stress, Work Ability and Employee Performance.

Abstract

      This study aims to determine the effect of risk profile, earnings and capital on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable in conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2011-2017. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The statistical method used is descriptive and inferential statistics, namely Generalized Structural Component Analysis (GeSCA) and Sobel test The results of the study show that the risk profile does not have a significant effect on firm value. Earning has a significant effect on firm value. Capital does not have a significant effect on firm value. capital does not have a significant effect on firm value. Capital does not have a significant effect on firm value. Risk profile has a significant effect on profitability. Earning has a significant effect on profitability. Capital has a significant effect on profitability. The mediation test shows that profitability is able to mediate the risk profile against the value of the company. Profitability is able to mediate earnings against company value and profitability is not able to mediate capital against firm value. Keywords: risk profile, earning, capital, profitability, firm value.

Abstract

     Urban tourism is growing today along with a shift in the behavior of tourists and the tourism industry that is more oriented to tourism destinations and create new experiences. The city of Yogyakarta as the tourist city destination have great potency visited many tourists every day. One of successful tourist village at Yogyakarta city is Dipowinatan tourist kampong. Dipowinatan tourist kampong managed to build itself into a tourist destination place, not only domestic tourists as the main market even international tourists.This study use qualitative approach. Interviews as the main instrument for data collection. Respondents of this research were managers of village tourism as a key informant, some residents, and the government represented by the tourism department of Yogyakarta. The results showed that urban tourism through the development of the tourism kampong has an opportunity in the future. Traveler more interested with natural travel and experienced the daily life of a society. One of the facing obstacle  is public participation. The public will be fully support when they feel that the existence of tourist kampong can bring financial benefits and improve their welfare or they played an important role. So the presence of the public supports tourism kampong self-reliant and sustainable.  Keywords: urban tourism, tourism kampong, community participation.

Abstract

     Hospitals as health facilities that provide health services to the community have a very strategic role in accelerating the improvement of public health status. Hospitals are required to provide quality services in accordance with established standards and can be reached throughout the community. This research type is quantitative, using likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS in placement to 4 quadrant of Cartesian diagram. The results of this study provide that the reality of all services received by inpatients has very satisfied criteria, above 80%. While the diagram analsisi states that the services enter the quadrant I likes speed of service, employees are in place, courtesy service, employees are ready at the table, etc. While in quadrant II are: accurate and accurate doctor diagnosis, good hospital physical form, complete Hospital facilities, etc. Then in quadrant III are: employee's skill in serving, doctor's analysis is undoubtedly, doctor's analysis is not risky, doctor can be trusted, technological means have good, etc. and then the services that included in quadrant IV are: attention of patient satisfaction, suitability of opening and closing schedule, availability of waiting room chair, doctor give info with detail, etc. Keywords: measurement, quality, service, hospital, cartesian diagram.
