Abstract

Background: Young people are active users of the information technology, especially internet. Even some of them tend to make the internet as a medium of the main support for daily activities. This study indicates that internet use among young people, especially college student tends to have a model of its own behavior, making it attractive for further investigation. Purpose: This study focuses on the influence of perceived enjoyment as antecedent variable in the technology acceptance model (TAM). Methodology: The respondents of this study were college students as internet users in Yogyakarta, the province is considering a student city. This study was conducted on 130 respondents. Findings: According to the structural analysis with SEM method, shows that perceive enjoyment has a role as antecedent variable on TAM, because that variable has significant effects on variables in technology acceptance model. Abstract

Tourist satisfaction is the best indicator of how the business looks in the future. The literature on travel and tourism reveals a lot of research on tourist attractions, service quality, perceived value and tourist satisfaction, but the relationship between these variables has not been thoroughly investigated with the object of research in the tourist village. The purpose of this study is to determine and explain the effect directly or indirectly between tourist attraction, service quality on perceived value and satisfaction. Data was collected through questionnaires on tourist village Grogol tourism. A total of 125 questionnaires were returned and data were analyzed using SEM AMOS. The results showed that there was a direct or indirect influence between tourist attraction, service quality on perceived value and satisfaction.AbstrakKepuasan wisatawan adalah indikator terbaik bagaimana penampilan bisnis di masa depan. Literatur tentang perjalanan dan pariwisata mengungkapkan banyak penelitian tentang tempat-tempat wisata, kualitas layanan, nilai yang dirasakan dan kepuasan wisatawan, tetapi hubungan antara variabel-variabel ini belum diselidiki secara menyeluruh dengan objek penelitian di desa wisata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan dan menjelaskan efek secara langsung atau tidak langsung antara daya tarik wisata, kualitas layanan terhadap nilai yang dirasakan dan kepuasan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tentang desa wisata pariwisata Grogol. Sebanyak 125 kuesioner dikembalikan dan data dianalisis menggunakan SEM AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh langsung atau tidak langsung antara daya tarik wisata, kualitas layanan terhadap nilai yang dirasakan dan kepuasan.

Abstract

Persaingan akan sangat ketat jika dalam satu lokasi yang berdekatan terdapat destinasi wisata yang menawarkan paket wisata yang sama.  Loyalitan perlu dibangun untuk memenangkan persaingan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, rumusan masalah sekaligus tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin menganalisis dan membuktikan: (1) pengaruh pengalaman emosional terhadap kepuasan wisatawan, (2) pengaruh atribut destinasi terhadap kepuasan wisatawan, (3) pengaruh pengalaman emosional terhadap loyalitas wisatawan, (4) pengaruh atribut destinasi terhadap loyalitas wisatawan, (5) pengaruh kepuasan wisatawan terhadap loyalitas. Penelitian dilakukan di destinasi wisata Umbul Ponggok, Klaten. Kriteria sampel yang dipergunakan adalah wisatawan yang telah berkunjung minimal dua kali.  Pengumpulan datanya dengan menggunakan google form.  Dalam penelitian ini terkumpul 128 kuesioner efektif yang selanjutnya akan diolah menggunakan Structural Equating Modeling (SEM) yang dioperasikan dengan menggunakan aplikasi AMOS. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa (1) pengalaman emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan, (2) atribut destinasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan, (3) pengalaman emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas wisatawan, (4) atribut destinasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas wisatawan, (5) kepuasan  wisatawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas wisatawan.

Abstract

      Aim of this study is to analyze the impact of organizational culture and financial compensation on salesman performance mediated by work ethic. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling and to analyze the impact between variabels used Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results showed that organizational culture and financial compensation had a significant effect on the work ethic and salesman performance, both directly and indirectly. Several previous studies relating to organizational culture, compensation, employee performance, and work ethics were carried out separately not yet reviewed simultaneously in a model that was tested through empirical data with a path analysis approach using PLS-SEM as has been done by this research. Companies need to foster and unite fellow members in the team so that there is a compact, harmonious relationship and all work productively so that salesman performance can be maximized according to company expectations. Financial compensation provided by the company needs to properly consider aspects of the needs of its employees. Independence at work needs to be evaluated and improved so that every salesman can work without being dependent on others. Keywords : organizational behavior, financial compensation, work ethic, salesman performance.

Abstract

       This study aims to determine the influence of Liquidity from Current Ratio (CR), Solvability from Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Profitability from Return On Investment (ROI) to Stock Prices with Corporate Value of Book Value (PBV) as a intervening variables. Infrastructure, transportation and transportation service companies provided on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2017 as research sample. Sampling technique using purposive sampling which then obtained a sample of 10 companies in the infrastructure, utilities and transportation sectors. The research data uses secondary data, namely the company's annual financial statements during 2011-2017 obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the company's official website. The analytical method used is path analysis (path analysis) using the PLS program SmartPLS 3.2.8 application. Liquidity and Profitability do not have a significant effect on Stock Prices while Solvability and Company Value influence significantly on Stock Prices. The Liquidity Value is not significant to the Firm Value but Solvability and Profitability significantly influence the Firm Value. Liquidity does not have a significant effect on Stock Prices through Company Value. While Profitability and Solvability have a significant effect on Stock Prices through Corporate Value. Keywords: liquidity, solvability, profitability, firm value, stock price.

Abstract

Many people believe that organizing festivals in the border area will increase the popularity of the border area and improve the socio-economic conditions of the border communities. But in the case of Sota border area, it is debatable. This paper aims to analyze the views of the community and local government about the border festival which was held by the central government in Sota, Merauke, Papua in 2016 and subsequently explored their views on what border festival should be like. To answer the question, a Focus Group Discussion was conducted with community leaders in Sota, activists in Merauke, officials from the Tourism Office, the Culture Office, the National Border Management Agency in Merauke, students and lecturers from Musamus University. They stated that the festival which had been conducted by the central government seemed in a hurry and lacked coordination with the local government. They also regretted that the festival was dominated by artists from Jakarta, while the local community was less involved. As a result, local cultural and economic potentials are not fully exposed. There are three things that should be considered to promote the border area through festivals: 1) the social, cultural and economic potential of the local community must be the main points promoted, 2) the widespread use of mass media, and 3) the strengthening of networks between the community and the local university, and local government for continual assistance

Abstract

Merauke is located in the eastern part of Indonesia that is rich of natural and cultural resources  potential for tourism. Tourism could be a solution to reduce poverty, especially through community-based tourism. Communities reap economic benefits from tourism industry by the increase of local income, hence the social welfare. On the contrary, poor management may lead the emerging Merauke tourism into environmental ecosystem damage. Such a threat to environmental sustainability outweighs any economic benefits because future generation will suffer from the inherited damaged environment. This article will discuss Merauke community participation in fostering the development of sustainable tourism through community-based tourism, that is maintaining sustainability of the environment and ecosystem while considering local communities sociocultural conditions. In doing so, this study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. Data was collected from document tracking and interviews with Merauke Regional Government, WWF activists, and community leaders. The findings indicated that local communities supported Merauke tourism by developing entrepreneurship in tourism industry, increasing community social control in protecting the environment and enhancing the role of local customary leaders in supporting the tourism development.

Abstract

Studying impact of the external factor on technology acceptance is ones of importance in  technology adoption fields. Aims of this research is to investigating the influence of technology readiness on student information technology acceptance model based on TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). Data was collected from 130 student from various university in Yogyakarta which listed in webomatrics. The results of this study show that technology readiness influence several dimension of student information technology acceptance model such as perceivedusefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude, behavioralintentions. Based on student technologyinformation use show that many student use internet for collecting information, interface communication, online shopping, and view of them use it for online business.    Keywords : technology readiness, technology information, technology acceptance model,student.

Abstract

Employee performance has a crucial and decisive role in achieving an organization's success. This research conducted at PT. Madubaru Yogyakarta to investigate the impact of training that employees have participated in and empowerment on performance mediated by job satisfaction. Fifty employees of PT. Madubaru Yogyakarta used as a sample during this study. Data analysis and hypothesis testing using SEM-PLS 3.2.8. This study found that training that had been attended by employees and empowerment had a significant positive effect on performance, yet as on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction alone features a significant positive impact on performance. Indirectly, job satisfaction is in a position to mediate the effect of training and individual empowerment on indirect performance, and the indirect effect is essential and decisive. PT. Madubaru Yogyakarta is suggested within the use of coaching methods to be more accurate in order to achieve the training objectives and therefore the direction of employee empowerment is more emphasized on improving performance instead of merely increasing employee satisfaction at work. Realize the targets set by the corporate within the future, the amount of employee satisfaction at work and current performance still has to be improved in order that employee contributions recover.Kinerja karyawan memiliki peran penting dan menjadi penentu untuk mencapai kesuksesan suatu organisasi, Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Madubaru Yogyakarta untuk menganalisis dampak pelatihan yang pernah diikuti karyawan dan pemberdayaan terhadap kinerja yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja. Limapuluh karyawan PT. Madubaru Yogyakarta dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan SEM-PLS 3.2.8. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pelatihan yang pernah diikuti karyawan maupun pemberdayaan berdampak signifikan yang positif terhadap kinerja, demikian pula terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja sendiri, memiliki dampak signifikan yang positif terhadap kinerja. Secaara tidak langsung, kepuasan kerja mampu menjembatani pengaruh pelatihan maupun pemberdayaan secara individual terhadap kinerja secara tidak langsung, pengaruh tidak langsung tersebut bersifat signifikan dan positif. PT. Madubaru Yogyakarta disarankan dalam penggunaan metode pelatihan untuk lebih akurat agar tujuan pelatihan dapat tercapai serta arah pemberdayaan karyawan lebih ditekankan pada peningkatan kinerja bukan sekedar meningkatkan rasa puas karyawan dalam bekerja. Untuk mencapai target yang ditetapkan perusahaan di masa depan, maka tingkat kepuasan karyawan dalam bekerja maupun kinerja yang ada saat ini masih perlu ditingkatkan agar kontribusi karyawan semakin baik.
