Abstract

The research aims to examine the causalities relationship between the intern control system and reward. The research method used with regression analysis. This research shows that reward can improve employee ethical behavior because internal control policies cannot improve employees’ ethical behavior. Human resource problems are still the main concern and support for companies to remain able to survive in the era of globalization. In order to improve the ethical behavior of an employee, it is emphasized the need for study policies regarding ethical issues. The sample in this study are employees who are civil servants in BPPKAD Surakarta. The purpose of this study is to determine the ethical behavior of employees who are influenced by the internal control system and reward. All data analysis techniques in this study used multiple linear regression and were carried out with the help of SPSS program. The results of this study are that the internal control system does not affect the ethical behavior of employees. While rewards affect employee ethical behavior. This shows that the internal control system policy has not been able to influence ethical behavior and the policy of increasing or decreasing rewards will have an impact on expected ethical behavior

Abstract

The fast competition in the present era of globalization is inevitably leading the value of public trust becomes increasingly important. In order for society to keep believing in an institution, the institution should meet the expectations of its customers. The fulfillment of customers’ expectations is marked with the customer’s satisfaction. By providing excellent service, it is expected that the society will increase their trust in the institution. This study aims to analyze the level of society’s satisfaction with the service quality of the Sub Division of Public Relations at the Surakarta Police Resort which focuses on studying the reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible. The results showed that the dimensions of service quality provided by the Sub Division of Public Relations at the Surakarta Police Resort had been well marked with the results of the Service Quality (Servqual) concept where there was occurred a gap, namely the difference in reality and expectations.

Abstract

One of the businesses of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that is growing rapidly in the city of Pacitan, namely Batik, especially Batik Saji Pacitan. Batik Saji, which was founded in 1990, is always crowded with visitors and buyers every day. Various batik fabrics are sold at varying prices. But the impact of increasingly intense business competition in the city of Pacitan, especially competition from similar companies (batik), is also felt by Batik Saji, because competitors also offer relatively cheaper prices and with their respective characteristics, making the Batik Saji company increasingly demanded to move faster in terms of attracting consumers or customers.

Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative research that aims to examine the effect of exhibitions on sales performance. This research will also compare the level of sales in the event of a sales event and when there is no sales event. Data collection techniques with observations and documentation of sales results at the SPEKTRA Solo financial institution in 2016. The results of normality test results are known to a value of α of 0.791 which shows the data are normally distributed. From the t-test results obtained an average sales order before event 470 and when there was event 544, because the p-value of the t-test statistic was 0.007, it means that there were differences in the number of sales before and after the event. From the results of rank calculation it can be concluded that there was an increase in sales due to the event. In the statistical test with Wilcoxon test obtained p-value of 0.028 so it was concluded that the event affected the level of sales.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the factors that influence the level of student satisfaction with campus library services in the Informatics Management study program and the most dominant factor in influencing student satisfaction with campus library services in the informatics Management study program. This research uses a quantitative approach, with a type of exploratory research. For this research population, all students are Informatics Management study programs, while the sampling method is random sampling. The results of this research are: the factor of service quality of library employees in the Informatic Management study program is good, the facility factor in the library of the Information Management study program is good, but there is a need to label information on a more detailed bookshelf. The most dominant factor in influencing student satisfaction with the quality of library services in the Informatics Management study program is the library employee services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of accounting information, participation in job satisfaction and joint or simultaneous influence between the application of accounting information, participation in the use of accounting information and job satisfaction on manager performance. The hypothesis proposed as follows is assumed to have a significant influence between the application of accounting information to the performance of functional managers of 3 and 4 star hotels in the Surakarta region. The population in the study were all functional hotel managers of 3 and 4 star hotels in the Surakarta region, while the samples taken were 50 hotel functional managers with sampling techniques using the stratified random sampling method. Analysis of the data used in this study are: validity test, reliability test, partial regression analysis, t test, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, and coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the application of accounting information, participation and job satisfaction proved to influence the performance of managers both partially and jointly or simultaneously and the results of the coefficient of determination analysis found that the application of accounting information, participation and job satisfaction had an influence on manager performance amounting to 81.1%.

Abstract

The research purposes was determined the effect of leadership style, compensation, motivation, and work discipline on the productivity of the employees of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Surakarta Branch Office. This research was used descriptive method and the sample used 60 respondents with a sampling technique used the accidental sampling method. Data collection methods are questionnaires, observations, interviews and literature study. The research instrument was used the linkert scale method with 5 answer criteria. Hypothesis test results consisting of the results of the analysis of multiple linear regression equations shown the value of beta (β) of each variables of leadership style, compensation, motivation and work discipline shows a positive number. The results of the t test analysis showed that each variable has a value of tcount > t table and has a significance value

Abstract

This study examines the relationship of four dimensions in career development those are increased career goals, professional ability, promotion speed and increased remuneration, toward an affective commitment, and a turnover intention. The sample is employees of PT. Aksara Solopos in the amount of 100 respondents. A survey method was used in this study to be data collection method and it was done by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used for data analysis and the results show that the dimensions of career development.The method of data collection in this study used a survey method by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The test results show that the dimensions of career development (increased career goals, professional ability, promotion speed and increased remuneration) influence increased career goals, professional ability, promotion speed and increased remuneration, furthermore that affective commitment negatively influence turnover intention.
