Pseudocodeis a scientific journal in the information science family that contains the results of informatics research, scientific literature on informatics, and reviews of the development of theories, methods, and application of informatics engineering science. Pseudocode is published by the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Bengkulu. Editors invite researchers, practitioners, and students to submit article manuscripts in the field of informatics engineering. Pseudocode is published 2 (two) times a year in February and September with p-ISSN 2355-5920 e-ISSN 2655-1845. Jurnal Pseudocode is Accredited by the Ministry for Research, Technology and Higher Education (RISTEKDIKTI) in SINTA 4 No. 36/E/KPT/2019 since 13 December 2019.

Abstract

Pulmonary X-ray is a medical diagnostic method used to produce internal lung images. However, the X-ray process is often interrupted when capturing images, resulting in noisy image results. This condition diminishes the clarity of information contained in the lung X-ray images. Therefore, noise removal or denoising is essential. Denoising is a fundamental image processing technique aimed at improving image quality for optimal information transmission. This study applies denoising methods to 20 datasets of pulmonary X-ray images using Median, Mean, Gaussian, Bilateral, and Wiener filters, with Python and the OpenCV Library. Error measurement for noise filtering is conducted using Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio and Mean Square Error methods. The research results show that the median filter stands out as an excellent denoising method, outperforming others with a Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio of 37.6444 and a Mean Square Error of 11.3339 for Salt and Pepper Noise. Abstract

The use of video conferencing has increased in recent years. Even though now the trend of activities is returning to going offline, video conferencing is still widely used for various needs. However, the available video conferencing platforms have limitations, so users are not comfortable using them. The Jitsi platform is used because it is based on open -source and claims that Jitsi has better quality if it is built using its own server. QoS testing is conducted to determine the quality of JITSI if it is built on a container architecture using Amazon Web Services virtual machines. The QoS parameters tested are throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. QOS testing is carried out in 2 scenarios using a virtual machine and a mobile phone to join into video conference rooms. In scenario 1 the highest QoS values obtained include throughput: 3128Kbps, packet loss: 0.012%, delay: 2.39ms, and jitter: 2.39ms. In scenario 2 the highest QoS values obtained include throughput: 1778Kbps, packet loss: 0%, delay: 2.82ms, and 2.82ms jitter. Meanwhile, the use of server resources increases in proportion to the number of users who join each test. Keywords: Video conference; QoS; Cloud; Container; JITSI.

Abstract

Motorcycle thefts that are rife in the neighborhood give rise to concerns that simply locking a motorcycle is not enough. With the advancement of technology, we can develop a security system on motorcycles to reduce theft rate. In the case of motorcycle theft, there are two motives for theft, including the ignition key that has been forgotten to be removed and the motorcycle contact jacked up with a key letter T. Researchers designed a physical touch code motorcycle security system using GPS which aims to monitor motorbikes using a smartphone in the event of theft. The method used in this research is Research And Development. Telegram is used for monitoring motorbikes. The results of the research have made a physical touch code device for a motorbike security system using GPS. Physical touch code can create security. Telegram alarms and notifications can work properly. Telegram can receive notifications if in contact condition on ≥ 9 seconds the secret touch point is not touched with a horn sound delay with notifications received an average of 2 seconds. Abstract

The PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital - Yogyakarta has the goal that processes related to administrative and documentation aspects are digitized immediately. Medical record officers at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital - Yogyakarta, especially in the field of midwifery assessment, still use a manual system in managing and preparing patient data reports. This causes delays in submitting daily patient data reports and has an impact on reducing patient services. To overcome this, a digital recording device is needed, namely a web-based medical record information system. The method used by the author in developing this information system is using the RAD or Rapid Application Development model. The programming platform uses the CodeIgniter 3 framework and Bootstrap 4.6. Database management using MySQL. The purpose of creating this medical record information system is to facilitate the management of patient data which includes patient registration data, patient medical record recording data, and collection of patient master data. Abstract

Learning media innovation is in line with developments in information technology. Many of the innovations being developed now utilize the fields of multimedia and mobile devices. These two fields have proven capable of producing interesting learning media and making it easier for students to learn learning material digitally. One of the learning materials that requires digital media is English. Many English learning applications have been developed but are not yet in accordance with the learning plans of teachers and students so they are not used directly in class. Based on these problems, this research developed an application for learning English digitally that can be used directly in classroom learning. Application development is carried out using the waterfall method and is adjusted to the learning plans of school teachers. The results of application implementation are tested on all users through user assistance and filling out surveys. From the results of testing the application using black box testing, it was found that the percentage of 100% of the functions ran as expected. From the results of the application validation test, a score of 86.5% was obtained for material suitability from material experts, 83.8% for media suitability from media experts, 82.6% for useability from educators' assessments, and 81% for useability from students' assessments. From the overall validation test results carried out on material experts, media experts, educators and students, the overall average validation results were 84.37%, which shows that the Easy Tenses application created can be categorized as very suitable for use. Abstract

This research aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) that can provide recommendations for the intangible cultural heritage of Bengkulu Province in accordance with the proposed determination of intangible cultural heritage. This system was designed using UML and implemented in the PHP programming language. This system will determine the recommended intangible cultural heritage using the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method. After that, a ranking of intangible cultural heritage recommendations was carried out according to the criteria for the determination form, photos/images, videos, studies, management and substance of intangible cultural heritage using the SMART method. The output of this system is a ranking of recommendations for intangible cultural heritage according to existing alternatives. System testing uses black box testing with 12 pages and 38 scenarios that are tested and produce a success score of 100%. Keywords: Intangible Cultural Heritage, Decision Support System, SMART Method

Abstract

This research highlights students' desire to continue their education at university, but they still experience difficulties in choosing what major to take when they go to college. This problem arises because of students' lack of self-understanding regarding interests and potential. The proposed solution is to use a decision support system by combining interest aspects based on the Rothwell Miller Interest Blank (RMIB) test and students' academic abilities based on report card grades. The method applied in this decision support system is Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) with the system output in the form of recommendation results displayed in ranking form. From the results of functional testing using black box testing, it shows that the system works well with a success value of 100%, while the accuracy measurement reaches a percentage of 73.425% which is in the sufficient category.

Abstract

Current technological developments have experienced very rapid developments. Its use is not only to help work in an agency or company but can also create accuracy, speed, and completeness. This also impacts an agency such as SMK Negeri 1 Purwokerto, which wants to utilize technology to manage archival documents in electronic form or electronic archives (e-Archives). E-Archives are a system for collecting and storing information in the form of electronic documents to make them easy to view, manage, find, and reuse. The need for an electronic archive management system is because the archive management process at the agency still uses manual methods by storing archival documents in physical form in a storage area. This method causes several problems with archival documents, such as loss, damage, and difficulty searching for documents. This problem requires a solution to overcome it, namely by building an Android-based application or system as an application for recording and managing archival documents. The development method used is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the waterfall model. The type of research carried out is research and development of the Research and Development method. The final result of this research is to produce a product in the form of an Android-based application for managing archival documents. This research was successfully carried out by referring to functionality testing, which was carried out using the Black Box Testing method.

Abstract

The railway locomotive has undergone significant progress by transitioning from conventional systems to the use of microcontroller-based sensors. However, to expedite repairs, error identification requires continuous improvement in human resource quality and the development of application systems to assist technicians in identifying issues with the CC 201 locomotive. The system development methodology in this research adopts the waterfall approach, encompassing requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and subsequent system testing. The research aims to construct a system capable of identifying faults and aiding technicians in diagnosing and providing repair solutions for the CC 201 locomotive, utilizing the Case-Based Reasoning method. Research results indicate the system's effectiveness in diagnosing CC 201 locomotive issues based on observed symptoms. Usability testing with 20 respondents using the SUPR-Q method demonstrates excellent ease of use and system satisfaction, achieving a score of 90.86%.

Abstract

The school decides for students who take part in SNMPTN (National Selection for State University Entrance). SNMPTN participation is determined based on learning results for semesters 1-5. Based on the LTMPT (Higher Education Entrance Test institution) rules, participation in SNMPTN can be determined based on achievements and other scores that can support selection. The aim of this research is to produce a decision support system that will be used in determining student participation in SNMPTN. The method used in this research is the SDLC method with the waterfall model. Waterfall or the waterfall model is a classic, systematic life cycle model in developing software. The calculation process uses Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with the variables of report card grades, achievements and school accreditation. The results obtained show that the report card score, namely 0.721 or 72%, is the highest criterion that influences students to be able to take part in the SNMPTN route and applications that can help in the selection process for the SMAN 1 Kerinci school.
