Abstract

Reinhold Niebuhr a Christian Protestant neo-orthodox wing yan, Niebuhr's view of man who was reported by the Bible higher than that. Niebuhr in addressing the diversity of prefer the attitude of pluralism. According to Niebuhr the development and fall of cultures and civilizations is caused by the absence of historical pluralism. The idea seems to lead to the formation of the unity of history. The core relationship of each civilization depict the unity of length in time. The essence of contemporary civilization relation to each other again describing the broad unity in the room, deeper unity is a real number.

Abstract

Filsafat merupakan induk semua ilmu, pada awalnya objek filsafat lebih luas dibandingkan ilmu. Namun pada perkem-bangannya Filsafat berkembang menjadi bagian dari ilmu itu sendiri, sehingga Filsafat tidak bisa berada dibawah awang-awang tetapi ia harus membimbing ilmu. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan peran Filsafat Islam dalam membuka wawasan berpikir umat Islam untuk menyadari fenomena perkembangan wacana keagamaan yang kontemporer yang menyuarakan nilai-nilai keterbukaan, baik nilai-nilai yang terdahulu maupun yang baru untuk terus dikaji menemukan kebenarannya. Setelah mendiskripsikan ditemukan beberapa hal yang perlu ada tindak lanjut dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu: lima hal yang kekal, moral yang mengandalkan akal semata dan tidak mempercayai wahyu, kenabian dan mukjizat. Al-Razi merupakan filosof muslim yang meng-hapuskan sendi-sendi keimanan namun ia tetap mengakui adanya Allah Sang Pencipta. Ia tergolong filosof rasionalis murni dan ia juga lebih dikenal dalam ilmu kedokteran dan dia juga memahami dalam disiplin ilmu falak, matematika dan kimia.

Abstract

Conflicts between religions, intolerance and violence in the name of religion is on the rise in the recent years. Attitudes such as mutual suspicion, disrespect for each other, and disharmony of life have become a reality of life among religious communities. Without tolerance, harmony between religions will be difficult to realize, because tolerance is inevitable for religious communities. Tolerance is also part of the theology vision or Islamic Aqeeda as taught in the Quran. Therefore, in depth study on tolerance may help the stakeholders in their effort to minimize religious conflict and establish harmony among the religious believers.Abstrak: Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini sangat banyak muncul konflik antar agama, intoleransi dan kekerasan atas nama agama. Adanya sikap seperti saling mencurigai, tidak menghargai satu sama lain, dan ketidakharmonisan hidup telah menjadi sebuah realitas kehidupan antar umat beragama. Tanpa adanya toleransi, kerukunan hidup antar umat beragama akan sulit terwujud, karena toleransi merupakan suatu keniscayaan bagi umat beragama. Toleransi juga merupakan bagian dari visi teologi atau akidah Islam sebagaimana yang ajarkan di dalam Alqur’an. Olehkarenanya, kajian terhadap toleransi perlu dikaji secara mendalam sebagai upaya untuk meminimalisir konflik keagamaan dan terciptanya kerukunan hidup antarumat beragama.

Abstract

The study of epistemology is considered critical in the discourses of Islamic theology. One of the Islamic scholars who had a comprehensive concept of epistemology was Mulla Shadra. His concept was influenced by four post Mongolia, classical-Islamic philosophy; masysya'i (Peripatetic), Ishraqi (Illmunianionis), 'Irfani (Gnosis, Sufism or Sufism), and kalam (Islamic theology). The four schools of thought converged into each other equipping him with a basis to establish a grand synthesis. The philosophy of Mulla Shadra, better known and more popular as al-hikmah al-muta'aliyah, is a kind of wisdom or philosophy based on the pure metaphysics foundation acquired through intellectual intuition and logical formulation by using rational arguments. Hi divided the philosophy into two categories. The first is the theoretical concept which refers to the understanding of everything as they are. Its realization is reflected in a rational world, including soul as stated by al-Farabi and Ibn Sina. The second is the practical concept which refers to the achievement of the achievement suitable for the soul.

Abstract

In the religious context of everyday life, sometimes it is difficult to  distinguish between something that is pure religion and the ideas or interpretations  of religion. Something pure religion, comes from God, the absolute and contain  sacred values. The ideas of religion, meaning comes from other than God  (Human), temporal, changing, and not sacred (profane). In the realization of  aspects, sometimes have difficulty distinguishing the two because of overlap and  confusion of meaning occurs between religion and religious thought, whether  intentionally or not. Subsequent developments, results sometimes religious  thought has turned into a religion itself, so it is considered sacred and sinful for  those who are trying, breaking and change it. In this case raises questions among  some communities; What religion is part of culture or religion or culture in every  culture, religion is the most valuable part of the whole social life

Abstract

Muslim scholars’ interests on hermeneutic have led to the development of the Al-Quran interpretation into various models. Hermeneutic has become the icon in modernization of Al-Quran values in which interpretation revolves around transnational and multidimensional perspectives which are sometimes political to advocate humanism, feminism, and pluralism. Based on the literature review, the interpretation of Al-Quran tends to lead to some typologies namely constructive, pro-constructive, reconstructive and deconstructive typologies. The hermeneutic in the constructive typology was introduced by a'immah al-‘arba’ah scholars such as Hanafi, Syafi’i, Hambali and Maliki. Meanwhile, the pro-constructive typology was led by Ghazali, Ibnu Qayyim al-Jauzi, lmam Shatibi, Muhammad ‘Abid al-Jabiri and At-thabari. The hermeneutic in the reconstructive typology was introduced by Ibnu Taimiyah, Muhammad 'Abduh, Hasan Hanafi, Fazlur Rahman, Sayyed Hossein Nasr, Khaled M. Abou al-Fadl and Yusuf Qaradhawi. The hermeneutic in the deconstructive typology refers to the hermeneutic introduced by Arkoun, Muhammad Shahrour, Nasr Hamid Abu Zaid, Abdullah An-Na’im, Amina Wadud, Fatema Memissi, and Asma Barlas.

Abstract

This article aims to see the perception of Teungku/Ustaz pesantren on Women's leadership, the difference in stage perception of Teungku/Ustaz towards women's leadership based on educational background. This research is a quantitative study using a survey method to get an overview of the perception of Tengku/Ustaz pesantren based on Dayah and modern Dayah on women's leadership. The research samples for this study as much as 344 respondents taken randomly. This research conducted in six pesantren in Aceh, namely in the Pondok Pesantren Modern Oemar Diyan Indrapuri Aceh Besar District, Modern boarding schools Babun Najah Ulee Kareng and Dayah Modern Darul Ulum Kuta Alam Banda Aceh, Dayah al-Madinatuddiniyyah Babussalam Blang Bladeh (Abu Tumin), Dayah Babussalam Al-Aziziyah (Tu Sop) Jeunieb, and Dayah Ma'had al-Ulum Diniyyah Islamiyah (MUDI) Samalanga regency of Bireuen. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using Quantitative statistical analysis with the help of SPSS 20 program. The results showed that a Teungku/Ustaz perception of women's leadership was in a low and moderate category against 29 item statements. Stage perception of Teungku/Ustaz seen based on the background of education shows the background of education in junior and high school at a low level, S1, and S2 at a moderate stage.  Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat persepsi teungku/ustaz pesantren terhadap kepemimpinan perempuan, perbedaan tahap persepsi teungku/ustaz terhadap kepemimpinan perempuan berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode survei untuk mendapat gambaran tentang persepsi tengku/ustaz pesantren berbasis dayah dan dayah modern terhadap kepemimpinan perempuan. Sampel penelitian untuk penelitian ini sebanyak 344 responden yang diambil secara acak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di enam pesantren di Aceh yaitu di Pondok Pesantren Modern Oemar Diyan Indrapuri Kabupaten Aceh Besar, Pondok Pesantren Modern Babun Najah Ulee Kareng dan Dayah Modern Darul Ulum Kuta Alam Kotamadya Banda Aceh, Dayah al-Madinatuddiniyyah Babussalam Blang Bladeh (Abu Tumin), Dayah Babussalam Al-Aziziyah (Tu Sop) Jeunieb, dan Dayah Ma’had al-Ulum Diniyyah Islamiyah (MUDI) Samalanga Kabupaten Bireuen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner/angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik kuantitati dengan bantuan program SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi teungku/ustaz terhadap kepemimpinan perempuan berada pada kategori rendah dan sedang terhadap 29 item pernyataan. Tahap persepsi teungku/ ustaz dilihat berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan menunjukkan latar belakang pendidikan SMP dan SMA berada pada tahap rendah, S1 dan S2 pada tahap sedang.

Abstract

Since its appearance in the 19th century, Ahmadiyah movement has spread throughout the world. At the center of its emergence, the movement gained support from both Muslims and Hindu conversions. While in other parts of the world, Ahmadiyah was brought by Ahmadi migrants and preachers (muballig) which deliberately sent from Lahore. The emergence of this movement is an excess of British imperialism to India accompanied by the spreading of the Christian religion and the weakening of the religious morality of Muslims. Mirza Gulam Ahmad was born and claimed to be a Messiah for the fall of Muslims in India at that time. This confession is followed by the conviction that his presence is a God’s will to save Muslims. This is the foundation of Ahmadiyah theology that developed throughout the world. The foundations of theology gained reactions from other Muslim groups including in Indonesia. For Muslims, the admission of a prophet after the prophet Muhammad is a heresy. Therefore, Mirza Gulam Ahmad and and his movement Ahmadiyah is a form of apostasy from the foundations of Islamic theology. This article will explain how the Ahmadiyah movement was formed, its theological foundations and the criticism of Ahlu al-Sunnah wa al-Jamaah against Ahmadiyah teology. Using the primary sources of Ahmadiyah and references from the salafist scholars this article discusses both views on theology especially regarding prophecy and revelation. I concluded that the Ahmadiyah movement is a deviant movement of Islam and its theological beliefs are totally incompatible with the theological foundations of Islam.

Abstract

Hermeneutics has been known by Moslems since early twentieth century.  As a method, it is used some Moslem scholars in interpreting the Quranic texts  because it is regarded to give rational and creative way of interpreting religious  texts. Together with the emerging terms of deconstruction, reconstruction and  rationalization of religious texts, hermeneutics has become a favourite method to  interprete the Qur’an. Anyhow, this method has not yet accepted by all Moslem  ulamas just because it is regarded a non-Muslim method, it is a method used by  Cristian bishops in interpreting Bible. Regardless its controversy, Amina Wadud,  a female Muslim scholar, keeps using hermeneutics in interpreting quranic verses,  mainly the verses relating female. According to her, the method is the most  applicable one to interprete the Qur’an for the modern time.
