Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui efektifitas program Pendidikan dan Pengembangan Anak Usia Dini (PPAUD) terhadap peningkatan akses layanan PAUD di Kabupaten Kulon Progo, (2) mengetahui efektifitas program Pendidikan dan Pengembangan Anak Usia Dini (PPAUD) terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan PAUD di Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Model eva-luasi yang digunakan adalah CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) yang dikembangkan oleh Stufflebeam. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan: (1) program Pendidikan dan Pengembangan Anak Usia Dini (PPAUD) di Kabupaten Kulon Progo telah mampu meningkatkan akses layan-an PAUD yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan APK dari 34,3% di tahun 2006 meningkat menjadi 93,6% di tahun 2013. (2) program Pendidikan dan Pengembangan Anak Usia Dini (PPAUD) di Kabupaten Kulon Progo telah mampu meningkatkan kualitas layanan PAUD.Kata kunci: Evaluasi Program, CIPP, PAUD An Evaluation of Early Childhood Education and Development Program (ECED) in Kulon Progo Regency AbstractThis study aimed to (1) determine the effectiveness of the Early Childhood Education and Development Program (ECED) to the increase in access to early childhood education services in Kulon Progo, (2) determine the effectiveness of the Early Childhood Education and Development Program (ECED) to improve the quality of early childhood education services in Kulon Progo. This research is a qualitative evaluation study. That approach used in the research is CIPP model evaluation program develop by Stufflebeam. The results of the study revealed that: (1) The Early Childhood Education and Development Program (ECED) in Kulon Progo Regency has been able to improve access to early childhood education services as evidenced by an increase of 34.3% APK in 2006 increased to 93.6% in 2013. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendiskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran anak usia dini berbasis budaya lokal di lembaga PAUD full day school. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus tunggal (single-case study). Penelitian ini di Lembaga PAUD full day school Fairuz Aqila Kalasan Sleman yang merupakan salah satu lembaga PAUD di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang menerapkan budaya lokal. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu implementasi pembelajaran anak usia dini berbasis bu-daya lokal dimulai dengan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan anak, menentukan tema pembelajar-an, menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran yaitu program kegiatan tahunan, program kegiatan mingguan dan program kegiatan harian. Proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal terintegrasi dalam kegiatan pijakan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan pengasuhan. Penilaian pembelajaran yang digunakan yaitu dengan observasi, anekdot dan daftar chek list. Unsur-unsur budaya lokal yang digunakan yaitu tata nilai dalam budaya Jawa, sistem keagamaan, per-mainan tradisional, makanan tradisional, tarian Jawa, bahasa Jawa, sistem mata pencaharian, lagu Jawa, alat musik tradisional dan cerita rakyat.Kata kunci: pembelajaran budaya lokal, anak usia dini, PAUD full day school The Implementation of Learning Process Based on Local Wisdom in Full Day School Early Childhood Abstract The objectives of this study are to describe the implementation of local wisdom in full day early childhood school. This study applies qualitative research with a single-case study approach. This research is done in Fairuz Aqila institution in Kalasan, Sleman which is an early childhood education center in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta which applies local wisdom. The data of the research were collected through observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of full day early childhood school based on local wisdom is applied by identifying the children’s need,  determining the topic of learning, arranging lesson plan which includes program planning of annual,weekly, and daily activity programs, integrating local wisdom into learning process through the basic, main, and day care activity, applying learning assessment by means of observation, anecdote, and check list. The elements of local wisdom which are acknowledged are Javanese culture norms, religious system, traditional games, traditional foods, Javanese traditional dance, Javanese language, livelihood system, Javanese songs, traditional music instruments, and folktales.Keywords: local wisdom learning, early childhood student, full day early childhood school

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses sains melalui percobaan sederhana pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK IT Albina Kota Ternate. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (kolaboratif) yang terdiri dari tiga siklus enam pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah anak-anak kelas B2 yang berjumlah 19 anak terdiri dari 8 anak laki-laki dan 11 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan catatan lapangan. Instrumen menggunakan lembar observasi Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) anak dan lembar observasi kegiatan guru selama kegiatan pembelajaran. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif  kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan keterampilan proses sains anak secara keseluruhan pada siklus I sebesar 59,38%, siklus II sebesar 66,12% dan siklus III sebesar 78,82% dengan keterampilan proses sains masing-masing indikator KPS selama tiga siklus sebagai berikut: (1) KPS Membuat dugaan adalah 53,84%, 60,53%, 73,55%, (2) KPS mengamati adalah 65,02%, 71,71%, 85%, (3) KPS mengklasifikasi adalah 64,25%, 69,08%, 84,01%, dan (4) KPS mengkomunikasikan sebesar 54,39%, 63,08%, 72,70%. Aktivitas kegiatan guru mengalami peningkatan sebesar 36,84% dan 47,37% siklus I, 63,16% dan 73,68% siklus II, 89,47% dan 94,74% siklus III.Kata kunci: keterampilan proses sains, percobaan sederhana, anak usia 5-6 tahun Improving KPS Through the Simple Experiment for the 5-6 Year-Old Students in TK-IT Albina Ternate AbstractThis research is aimed to find out the improvement of the science skill through the simple experiment for the 5-6 year-old students in TK IT Albina, Ternate. This research was a Classroom Action Research (collaborative) consisted of three cycles with six meetings. The subjects of the research were the students of Class B2 in TK IT Albina Ternate which were 19 students consisting of 8 boys and 11 girls. The data collection techniques were by observing and making field notes. The instruments of the research used the students Science Process Skills (SPS) observation sheets and teacher observation sheets during the process of studying. The data then were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of this research indicats the improvement of science process skill entirely in the Cycle I is 59.38 %, in Cycle II is 66.12%, and in Cycle III is 78.82% with each SPS indicator as (1) SPS made judgment is 53.84%, 60.53%, 73.55%, (2) SPS observing is 65.02%, 71.71%, and 85%, (3) SPS classifiying is 64.25%, 69.08%, 84.01%, and (4) SPS communicating is 54.39%, 63.08%, 72.70%. In Cycle I The teacher’s activities improve from 36.84% to 47.37%, in Cycle II much as 63,16% and 73.68%, and in cycle III is 89.47%.Keywords: science process skill, simple experiment, 5-6 years-old students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kontribusi penguasaan keterampilan, (2) kontribusi motivasi, dan (3) kontribusi penguasaan keterampilan dan motivasi kerja terhadap tingkat pendapatan ibu rumah tangga peserta pelatihan eceng gondok usaha kecil dan menengah Luthfi Craft di Desa Murtigading Piring II, Sanden, Bantul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif bersifat korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu rumah tangga peserta pelatihan eceng gondok UKM Luthfi Craft di Desa Murtigading Piring II, Sanden Bantul. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup berbentuk skala. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi positif dan signifikan penguasaan keterampilan dan motivasi kerja terhadap tingkat pendapatan ibu rumah tangga peserta pelatihan eceng gondok usaha kecil dan menengah Luthfi Craft di Desa Murtigading Piring II, Sanden, Bantul. Besarnya kontribusi penguasaan keterampilan dan motivasi kerja sebesar 30,4% dan 22,6% dan kedua variabel tersebut secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi terhadap tingkat pendapatan ibu rumah tangga peserta pelatihan eceng gondok UKM Luthfi Craft di Desa Murtigading Piring II Sanden, Bantul sebesar 48,3%.Kata Kunci: Penguasaan keterampilan, motivasi kerja, tingkat pendapatan Mastery Skills and Motivation to Work on the Level of Income Housewife in the Village Murtigading Bantul AbstractThis study aims to determine: (1) contribution mastery of skills, (2) the contribution of motivation, and (3) the contribution of the mastery of the skills and motivation to work on the level of income trainee housewife hyacinth small and medium enterprises in the village Lutfi Craft Murtigading Plate II , Sanden, Bantul. This study uses a quantitative approach is correlational. The study population was a housewife trainee hyacinth UKM Lutfi Craft Village Murtigading Plate II, Sanden, Bantul. Collecting data using closed-form questionnaire scale. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results showed that there is a positive and significant contribution to the mastery of the skills and motivation to work on the level of income trainee housewife hyacinth small and medium enterprises in the village Lutfi Craft Murtigading Plate II, Sanden, Bantul. The amount of the contribution of the mastery of skills and motivation of 30,4% and 22,6%, and both variables together to contribute to the household income levels mother trainee hyacinth UKM Lutfi Craft Village Murtigading Plate II Sanden, Bantul by 48,3%.Keywords: mastery skills, work motivation, income level

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Barunawati Kota Ternate dan seberapa besar peningkatan kecerdasan inter-personal anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan menggunakan metode bermain peran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam II siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak didik kelompok B di TK Barunawati Kota Ternate yang berjumlah 25 orang. Kolabolator dalam penelitian adalah guru kelas B, sebagai pelaksana tindakan, peneliti sebagai observer dan guru pendamping sebagai pembantu observer. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Observasi meliputi proses pembelajaran sosial emosional dan kecerdasan interpersonal anak. Catatan lapangan digunakan untuk melihat permasalahan yang dihadapi selama pembelajaran. Dokumentasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data yang berbentuk foto. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif sederhana. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan interpersonal anak usia dini dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode bermain peran. Peningkatan tersebut sebesar 76%.Kata Kunci: metode bermain peran (role playing), kecerdasan interpersonal, anak usia dini. The Implementation of Role Playing Method to Improve Interpersonal Intelligence of Children Aged 5-6 Years in Kindergarten Barunawati AbstractThe study aims to increase interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Barunawati Ternate City and how much the increase in interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5-6 years using role playing methods. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjects in this study are students in kindergarten group B Barunawati Ternate City amounting to 25 people. The collaborators in this research were the B-grade teachers acting as the executor, while the researcher was an observer and as a teacher assistant in the observation. The data were collected through observation, notes field and documentation. Observations included the process of learning social emotional and childrens interpersonal intelligence. Field notes were used to see the problems faced during the learning. Documentation used to obtain data in the form of photos. The data analysis techniques used simple descriptive statistics. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this study shows that early childhood interpersonal intelligence can be improved through the role playing methods. The increase in the amout of 76%.Keywords: role playing method, interpersonal intelligence, early childhood

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pengelolaan Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) di era otonomi daerah. Deskripsi mengenai pengelolaan program Pen-didikan Nonformal, pengelolaan Sumberdaya Manusia, dan pengelolaan keuangan. Harapan-nya mampu menciptakan (1) fasilitas yang memadahi dan mampu menjembatani daerah dengan pusat, (2) munculnya kreatifitas daerah dalam pembangunan, (3) stabilitas politik pusat dan daerah, (4) adanya jaminan kesinambungan usaha, dan (5) terbukanya komunikasi. Namun pada kenyataanya pengelolaan SKB menghadapi masalah mengenai jumlah pendanaan yang kurang memadahi, SDM kurang professional, dan program tidak berkembang. Penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dari berbagai masalah di beberapa SKB. Kemudian dianalisis dengan dialogis Milles Huberman meliputi; pengumpulan daya, reduksi data, display data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pengelolaan SKB pada era otonomi daerah beragam, ada yang sudah berjalan dengan baik dan mendapat dukungan dari pemerintah daerah, namun kebanyakan SKB tidak berkembang bah-kan teracam dibubarkan atau merger. Pengelolaan kelembagaan SKB yang tidak berkembang dengan baik disebabkan oleh minimnya Sumberdaya Manusia professional, kurangnya dukungan pendanaan. Kesimpulannya bahwa pengelolaan SKB di era otonomi daerah memili-ki kecenderungan menurun atau semakin tidak professional. Otonomi daerah harus tetap memperhatikan SKB sebagai satuan penyelenggara program PNFI dengan dukungan penuh dari pemerintah baik dana maupun sumberdaya manusia yang professional.Kata Kunci: pengelolaan, Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar(SKB), era otonomi daerah Management of Learning Activities Gallery (LAG) in Outonomy Era AbstractThis study aimed to describe the management implementation of Learning Activities Gallery (LAG) in the autonomy era. Description of Non-formal Education program management, Human Resources management, and financial management. Its purpose is able to create (1) facilities and able to bridge regions to the center, (2) the emergence of creativity in the construc-tion area, (3) political stability and regional centers, (4) the assurance of business continuity, and (5) open communication. But in fact the management of LAG was facing problems regarding the amount of funding that was not sufficient, human resources was not professional, and the prog-ram did not develop. Research used qualitative case studies approach of various problems in some LAG. Then dialogic analyzed by Milles and Huberman included; data collection, data reduc-tion, data display and conclusions. The study found that LAG management in the autonomy era, there was already successful and the support of the local government, but most of the LAG was not growing even threatened dissolved or merged. LAG institutional management were not well developed caused by the lack of professional Human Resources, the lack of funding support. So from some of these problems were concluded that LAG management in the era of regional auto-nomy had a tendency to decrease or even unprofessional. Regional autonomy must consider LAG as a unit organizer non-formal and informal education programs with the full support of the government both funds and human resources professionals.Keywords: management, Learning Activities Gallery (LAG), autonomy era

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan PAUD penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif pada tingkat kesiapan anak dalam memasuki Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan dilakukan di Labschool Rumah Citta yang merupa-kan PAUD penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Labschool Rumah Citta adalah PAUD dengan model pendidikan inklusif yang memfasilitasi anak-anak dari berbagai latar belakang sosial, budaya, ekonomi, agama, ras, dan kemampuan, termasuk anak berkebutuhan khusus. (2) Kurikulum Labschool Rumah Citta merupakan kuri-kulum yang disusun secara mandiri berdasarkan tahapan perkembangan anak, mengacu pada aspek-aspek perkembangan anak, serta memiliki beberapa kekhasan: inklusif, berpusat pada anak, mengembangkan kecerdasan jamak, pendidikan nilai, ramah lingkungan hidup, meng-hormati kearifan lokal, mandiri, dan keadilan gender. (3) Labschool Rumah Citta mengguna-kan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berorientasi dan berpusat pada anak/siswa (student-centered approach), serta menerapkan metoda pembelajaran yang mendorong kesiapan anak untuk memasuki SD, yang meliputi: main peran, praktek langsung, diskusi, kerja sama, peme-cahan masalah, ataupun kunjungan. (4) Kurikulum inklusi, yang ramah terhadap semua anak dan metode pembelajaran yang berpusat pada anak, efektif untuk mendorong kesiapan anak dalam memasuki SD.Kata kunci: PAUD inklusif, kesiapan sekolah anak The Effectiveness of Inclusive Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) on School Readiness of Child to Enter Primary School AbstractThis research aims to reveal the effectiveness of the inclusive ECCD on the level of child readiness to enter primary school. This research was conducted qualitive approach. The object was Labschool Rumah Citta, the ECCD that implemented inclusive learning. The results of the study are as follows. (1) Labschool Rumah Citta is and ECCD applying the inclusive education model, and ready to facilitate children from different social backgrounds, cultures, economy, religions, races, and capabilities, including the children with  special needs. (2) The curriculum of Labschool Rumah Citta is compiled independently based on child development aspect, and has several peculiarities: inclusive, centered on children, developing multiple intelligence, values education, eco-friendly living, respect of local wisdom, independence, and gender. (3) Labschool Rumah Citta uses the student-centered approach and applies the methods of learning which encourage child's readiness to enter primary school, including: role play, direct practice, discussions, teamwork, problem solving, and visits. (4) The inclusive curriculum, which is child friendy and the learning methods that are suitable, with the characteristics of early childhood, is effective in encouraging children to enter primary school.Keywords: inclusive early childhood care and development care, school readiness of child

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui kepuasan peserta pelatihan, mengetahui pemahaman peserta pelatihan, mengetahui implementasi program pelatihan, menganalisis dampak program pelatihan, mengetahui manfaat program pelatihan, dan merekomendasikan perbaikan program. Dengan menerapkan empat model evaluasi pelatihan Kirkpatrick yaitu: tingkat kepuasan, tingkat pemahaman, tingkat implementasi, dan tingkat dampak untuk mengetahui hasil dari ketiga pelatihan vokasi, yaitu: pelatihan menjahit, hantaran, dan tata risa pengantin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta puas mengikuti pelatihan, peserta paham atas materi yang diberikan, peserta mampu mengimplementasikan program di tempat kerja, program pelatihan berdampak baik bagi peserta dan lembaga, manfaat yang didapatkan: peserta mampu membuka lapangan pekerjaan serta mampu bekerja di perusahaan, dan rekomendasi perbaikan program: memberikan asuransi kecelakaan kerja serta memberikan materi kewirausahaan.Kata Kunci: evaluasi program, pelatihan vokasi, dan model evaluasi Kirkpatrick.  Evaluation of Vocational Training Program in Learning Activity Atelier in Ujung Pandang, Makassar MunicipalityAbstractThis study aims to: determine the satisfaction of trainees, determine the understanding of the trainees, to find out the implementation of the training programs, to analyze the impact of the training programs, to understand the benefits of the training programs and to recommend the improvement programs. By applying the four evaluation model by Kirkpatrick, that are : The Satisfaction level, the level of understanding, the level of implementation, and the impact level of the training in order to determine the outcome of the three vocational training,  that are : Sewing, Delivery, and Bridal make up training. The result showed that all the participants satisfied with the training, the participants understand the material provided, the participants be able to implement the program in the workplace, the training program give benefit for both the participants and institutions, the benefits obtained are; the participants were able to create jobs and be able to work in the company, and the recommendation programs for improvements are; provides the insurance for occupational accident and also material of entrepreneurship.Keywords: evaluation program, vocational training, Kirkpatrick evaluation model

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran anak TK serta untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak melalui pemanfaatan media barang bekas di TK N Pembina Kota Bima. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 21 anak. Sedangkan objeknya adalah media daur ulang. Teknik pengambilan data diambil dengan lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembaran observasi kreativitas anak dan aktivitas guru selama proses pembelajaran. Terjadi peningkatan kreativitas anak secara keseluruhan pada pratindakan dengan rerata 28,81 dengan presentase 19,05%. Rerata pada siklus I adalah 83,85 dengan persentase sebesar 73,73%, sedangkan rerata pada siklus II adalah 135,17 dengan persentase sebesar 87,97%. Sementara itu, aktivitas kegiatan guru mengalami peningkatan dengan rerata sebesar 72,22 pada siklus I dan 94,44 pada siklus II. Dengan demikian media barang bekas dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas anak dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: aspek kreativitas, barang bekas, anak TK kelompok B Improving Children’s Creativity Through Recycling Media in TK Bima CityAbstractThis study aims to improve the learning process of children in kindergartens as well as to enhance the creativity of children through the use of recycling media in TK N Pembina Bima City. This study is a classroom action-research which consisted of two cycles. The subjects of this study were 21 children. While the objects were recycling media. The data collection techniques were observation and field notes while the instruments used were observation sheets of children’s creativity and teacher’s activities during the learning process. There is an overal improvement in children’s creativity after the treatment with a mean of 28.81 and a precentage of 19.05%. The mean of cycle I is 83.85 with a precentage of 73.73% while the mean of cycle II is 135.17 with a percentage of 87.97%. Meanwhile, teacher’s activities increase with a mean of 72.22 in cycle I and 94.44 in cycle II. Thus, recycling media improve children’s activity in the learning process.Keywords: creativity aspects, recycling media, children’s kindergarten

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelatihan pengolahan bahan pangan lokal yang dapat memberdayakan warga perempuan dusun Pagerjirak, Kejobong, Purbalingga. Penelitian ini merupakan participatory action research (PAR) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala dusun, tujuh anggota tim pengelola dusun, dan 15 warga perempuan dusun. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Perencanaan partisipatoris terdiri dari identifikasi kebutuhan dusun dan penyiapan tim pengelola program dusun. (2) Pelaksanaan proses pemberdayaan melalui pelatihan dimulai dengan  menyiapkan tim pengelola, membentuk  kelompok usaha, menjalin kemitraan dengan pihak pemerintah dan swasta, membangun rumah produksi, mengajukan izin produksi, produksi dan pemasaran produk,  melakukan studi banding ke industri rumah tangga, melakukan perbaikan dan diversifikasi produk, dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan massal, dan pendampingan. (3) Indikator keberhasilan pelatihan diantaranya adalah bertambahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga, serta diperolehnya pendapatan hasil usaha penjualan produk. (4) Keberlanjutan program pemberdayaan perempuan ditunjukkan dengan telah adanya pengembangan produk atau variasi produk dan terbentuknya kemandirian tim.Kata Kunci: pemberdayaan perempuan, pelatihan, bahan pangan lokal Woman Empowerment Through Local Produce Processing TrainingsAbstractThis research aims to reveal the local produce processing that can empower women in Pagerjirak, Kejobong, Purbalingga. This research was participatory action research with the qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subject consisted of the village chief, core team consisting of seven people, and 15 women in the village. The research data were obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of research are as follows. (1) The participatory planning consists of need analysis and preparing management team. (2) The training processes are conducted by preparing the management team, building the business unit, creating relation with the government and private sectors, building production houses, applying for production permits, producing and marketing, comparative study to home industry, reflecting, improving, and diversifying product, holding massive, and mentoring. (3) The indicators of a successful training are the improvement of knowledge and skills of women, and the profit of product sales. (4) The sustainability of women empowerment program are product development or diversification and the management team becomes more and more independent.Keywords: woman empowerment, training, local produce
