Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi(1) perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pendidikan karakter berbasis kultur sekolah dalam pembelajaran IPS, dan (2) peran kultur sekolah dalam pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekola, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) pada proses perencanaan sekolah memiliki program pengembangan kultur sekolah untuk mengimplementasikan  nilai-nilai karakter siswa yang diaktualisasikan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran; (2) pada proses pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter diaktualisasikan dengan memberi keteladanan, menegur, memberi tahu, memberi sangsi, dan memberi tugas melalui pendekatan dan metode yang komprehensif; (3) berdasarkan hasil penilaian menunjukan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter yang telah diaktualisasikan dengan baik dalam perilaku sehari-hari siswa di SMP N2 Juntinyuat  adalah demokrasi, religius, kerja sama, peduli sosial, rasa hormat, dan tanggung jawab; dan (4) peran kultur sekolah meliputi tiga aspek pokok yaitu persepsi mengenai suasana sekolah, perilaku murid, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah.Kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, kultur sekolah, pembelajaran IPS. THE ACTUALIZATION OF CHARACTER EDUCATION BASED ON SCHOOL CULTURE IN SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThe article written is aimed to identify (1)planing, implementing, and assessing the character education based on school culture in social studies learning, and (2) the role of school culture in character education. The study was pursued the case study. The subjects were the principal, teachers, and students. The results showed that (1) in the process of planning the school has the development program of school culture to implement student character values which actualized through  learning activities; (2) in the implementation of character education actualized by giving good example, admonition, notification, punishment, and task; (3) based on assessing result showed that  the character values that have been actualized in the daily behavior of the students of SMP N2 Juntinyuat are democracy values, religious, cooperation, social care, respect/honor, and responsible; and (4) the role of school culture was described in three main aspects, those are the perception of school atmosphere, the behavior of the student, and management of headmaster.Keywords: character education, school culture, and social studies learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan keefektifan antara model Discovery Learning dan model Problem-Based Learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi peserta didik, ditinjau dari keterpaan media elektronik, serta mengetahui interaksi pengaruh antara  model pembelajaran dan keterpaan media elektronik terhadap hasil belajar geografi.Penelitian  ini  merupakan penelitian  kuasi  eksperimen. Analisis  data  dilakukan  menggunakan analisis deskripsi dan inferensial.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Model Discovery Learning lebih efektif jika dibandingkan dengan model Problem-Based Learning dengan nilai rata-rata72 63 dan tarafsignifikan 0.00. (2) Hasil belajar dengan keterpaan media elektonik tinggi lebih baik daripada hasil belajar dengan ketepaan media elektronik rendah,  nilai rata-rata 71.99 65 dengan tarafsignifikan 0,00. (3) Hasil belajar peserta didik dengan keterpaan media massa elektronik tinggi pada model Discovery Learning lebih baik dari pada model Problem-Based Learningnilai rata-rata 77.59 63 dengan tarafsignifikan 0,00. (4) Hasil belajar peserta didik dengan keterpaan media massa elektronik rendah pada model Discovery Learning lebih baik dari pada model Proble- Based Learningnilai rata-rata 67.59 62.77 dengan taraf signifikan 0,00. (5) Model Discovery Learning lebih efektif dari pada model Problem-Based Learning jika dilihat dari keterpaan media elektronik tinggi dan rendah.Kata kunci: discovery learning,problem- based learning, media elektronik THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TEACHING MODEL IN IMPROVING GEOGRAPHY LEARNING OUTCOMES BASED ON ELECTRONIC MEDIA EXPOSURE AT HIG SCHOOLAbstractThis study aims to compare the effectiveness between the Discovery Learning model and the model of Problem-Based Learning  to improving the geography learning outcomes , based on electronic media exposure, and  analyzing the interaction effect between models of learning and electronic media exposure on the outcomes of the geography learning. This study was a  quasi-experimental.  Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis and inferential. The experiment data, was analized by Anava, and the result of this research are :  (1)  Discovery Learning is more effective than model of Problem-Based Learning (72 62 and significance 0.00); (2) Learning outcames of student with high electroncc media exposure is more than the outcames of student with low electronic media exposure (71.99 65 and significance 0.00); (3)  The Learning outcame  of students with high electrinic media exposure in Discovery Learning model is more than the learning outcame of students Problem -Based Learning model (77.59 63 and significance 0.00); (iv) Learning outcame  of students with low electrinic media exposure in  Discovery Learning model is more than the learning outcame  of students Problem-Based Learning model (67.59 62.77and significance 0.00; (5) From the perspectiveof the both of the high and low electronic media exposure,the model Discovery Learning model is more effective than the Problem-Based Learning.Keywords: Effectiveness, learning model, electronic media exposure

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh konformitas terhadap teman sebaya terhadap perilaku agresif siswa; (2) pengaruh keterampilan sosial terhadap perilaku agresif siswa; (3) pengaruh persepsi terhadap sinetron anak jalanan terhadap perilaku agresif siswa dan (4) pengaruh konformitas terhadap teman sebaya, keterampilan sosial dan persepsi terhadap sinetron anak jalanan secara bersama-sama terhadap perilaku agresif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 715 siswa dan sampelnya 240 siswa. Penentuan ukuran sampel dengan teknik proportional stratifield random Sampling menggunakan nomogram Harry King dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Instrument pengumpul data berupa skala yang telah divalidasi meliputi validitas isi (expert judgment) dan validitas empiris yang dihitung dengan Pearson product moment correlation. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara konformitas terhadap teman sebaya terhadap perilaku agresif siswa, (2) terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara keterampilan sosial terhadap perilaku agresif siswa, (3) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara persepsi terhadap sinetron anak jalanan terhadap perilaku agresif siswa, dan (4) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan antara konformitas terhadap teman sebaya, keterampilan sosial dan persepsi terhadap sinetron anak jalanan terhadap perilaku agresif siswa.Kata kunci:konformitas, teman sebaya, keterampilan sosial, persepsi, sinetron anak jalanan, perilaku agresif THE INFLUENCE OF CONFORMITY, SOCIAL SKILL, PERCEPTION OF ANAK JALANAN SINETRON ON AGGREISSVIE BEHAVIORAbstractThis study aimed to determine: (1) the influence of peers' conformity on the student's aggressive behavior, (2) the influence of social skills on the students' aggressive behavior, (3) the influence of Anak Jalanan Sinetron perception on students' aggressive behavior, and (4) the influence of peers' conformity, social skills and perception of Anak Jalanan sinetron corelate to the students' aggressive behavior. This research used quantitative approach of ex-post facto type. The population of this research was 715 students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Salam. Determination of the number of samples used Harry King nomogram with 5% error level, so that the research sample obtained as many as 240 people. The Determination of sample used proportional stratified random sampling technique. Instrument validity included content validity (experts' judgment) and empirical validity calculated by correlation of Pearson product moment. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and regression analysis. The results show that: (1) there is significant influence of the peers' conformity on students' aggressive behavior; (2) there is significant influence of social skills on students' aggressive behavior; (3) there is a significant influence of Anak Jalanan Sinetron to the students' perception on students' aggressive behavior; (4) there is significant influence of peers' conformity, social skills and perception of Anak Jalanan sinetron correlate to the students' aggressive behavior.Keywords: peers’ conformity, social skill, perception of anak jalanan sinetron and aggresive behavior

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan: (1) spesifikasi; (2) kelayakan; (3) keterlaksanaan; (4) efektivitas; dan (5) respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD terintegrasi karakter dengan pendekatan discovery, untuk peserta didik SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengadaptasi model 4-D dengan tahapan define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penilaian LKPD dilakukan oleh satu ahli media, satu ahli materi, satu guru ekonomi, dan satu teman sejawat. Uji coba produk dilakukan kepada peserta didik kelas X SMA, dengan rincian enam peserta didik  kelas X-3 SMAN 1 Kretek untuk uji coba kelompok kecil, dan 30 peserta didik kelas X-1 SMAN 1 Kretek untuk uji coba lapangan. Pengumpulan data keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan pengamatan oleh dua orang pengamat, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes (post-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) spesifikasi LKPD terintegrasi karakter dengan pendekatan discovery berupa media cetak; (2) hasil kelayakan LKPD ditinjau dari keseluruhan aspek penilaian oleh para ahli, secara umum termasuk kategori sangat layak; (3) keterlaksanaan LKPD terintegrasi karakter dengan pendekatan discovery sebesar 84,50% dengan kategori tinggi; (4) pada pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LKPD terintegrasi karakter dengan pendekatan discovery efektif meningkatkan: a) hasil belajar peserta didik sangat baik termasuk kategori baik; b)  karakter  tanggung jawab peserta didik sangat baik, perkembangan karakter jujur termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, sedangkan rata-rata perkembangan karakter disiplin termasuk kategori tinggi; dan (5) respon peserta didik  terhadap LKPD terintegrasi karakter dengan pendekatan discovery termasuk kategori sangat tinggi.Kata kunci: LKPD, pendekatan discovery, hasil belajar, pendidikan karakter DEVELOPING WORKSHEET INTEGRATING CHARACTERS USING THE DISCOVERY APPROACH IN AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENTAbstrackThe aims of this research are to reveal: (1) specifications, (2) appropriateness; (3) feasibility; (4) effectiveness; and (5) response of the students to the worksheet integrating character with the discovery approach for high school students. This study was research and development that adapted the model of 4-D with the phases including define, design, develop, and disseminate. The assessment of worksheet was conducted by a media expert, material expert, one economics teacher and colleague. Product trials were conducted to X-grade students high school of involving: six students of class X-3 SMAN 1 Kretek for the small group trial, and 30 students of class X-1 SMAN 1 Kretek for field trials. The teaching implementation a were collected through observation by two observers, and through a questionnaire, and a test (post-test). The results of the study show that, (1) integrating worksheet characters using the discovery approach is in the form of print media; (2) the feasibility worksheet in terms of the overall aspects of assessment by experts, generally in a very high category; (3) feasibility of the worksheet is high with a score of 84.50%; (4) effectiviness of worksheet in terms of: a) the learning achievement is good and in high a category, b) the students’ character after the use of the worksheet especially the character of responsibility is in a high category, character of honesty is in a very high category, and the character of discipline is in a high category; and (5) the student’s response  to the worksheet is in a very high category.Keywords: worksheet, discovery approach, learning achievement, character educatio

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh: Supervisi kepala sekolah, motivasi kerja guru, iklim kerja dan status sosial ekonomi secara parsial maupun bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kota Pangkalpinang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh di mana semua populasi sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengujian validitas dilakukan dengan expert judgement dan confirmatory factor analisys (CFA). Pengujian reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha (α). Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian meliputi (1) Supervisi kepala sekolah berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai signifikansi 0,032 0,05. (2) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru nilai signifikansi 0,000 0,05. (3) Iklim kerja guru berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru nilai signifikansi 0,031 0,05. (4) Status sosial ekonomi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru nilai signifikansi 0,1300,05. (5) Supervisi kepala sekolah, motivasi kerja, iklim kerja guru dan status sosial ekonomi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru nilai signifikansi 0,0000,05. Sumbangan efektif setiap variabel sebagai berikut (1) supervisi kepala sekolah sebesar 8,1%; (2) motivasi kerja guru sebesar 42,0%; (3) iklim kerja guru sebesar 17,3%; (4) status sosial ekonomi sebesar 1,8% dan (5) supervisi kepala sekolah, motivasi kerja, iklim kerja guru, status sosial ekonomi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 62,3%.Kata kunci: supervisi kepala sekolah, motivasi kerja guru, iklim kerja guru, status sosial ekonomi, kinerja guru THE FACTORS OF AFFECTING SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLSTEACHER’S PERFORMANCEAbstractThe research aims to reveal the effect of: Principal supervision, teacher's work motivation, teachers’ work climate, and socio-economic status simultaneously on the performance of the teachers of State Senior High Schools in Pangkalpinang. This research was ex-post facto research with the quantitative approach. It used the saturated sample where all the population became the sample. The validation was done through expert judgement and confirmatory factor analisys (CFA). The reliability was measured using Cronbach's Alpha (α). The data analysis used the multiple regression statistical technique. The results included. (1) The principal supervision affects the performance of the teachers, with the highest significance of 0.032 0,05. (2) The work motivation affects teacher performance at the significance level of  0.000 0,05. (3) Teachers’ working climate affects their performance with the highest significance of 0.031 0,05. (4) Socio-economic status does not affect the performance of the teacher with the highest significance of 0.133 0,05. (5) The principal supervision, work motivation, teachers’ work climate, and socio-economic status simultaneously affect the performance of the teachers, at the significance level of 0.000 0,05. The effective contribution of each variable as a follows: (1) Principal supervision is 8.1%; (2) Teacher motivation is 42.0%; (3) work climate is17.3%; (4) Socio-economic status is 1.8% and, (5) Principal supervision, the motivation to work, teachers’ work climate, socio-economic status altogether are 63.3%.Keywords: principal supervision, teacher work motivation, teachers work climate, socio-economic status, teachers performance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengaruh tradisional talempong pacik untuk mengetahui sikap disiplin, toleransi, dan kerjasama siswa di SMA Negeri 9 Kota Padang Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh nilai-nilai yang terkadung dalam falsafah (1) alua jo patuik yang berarti disiplin, (2) bajalan paliharo kaki, paliharo lidah, kato sapatah dipikia an, nan elok dek awak ka tuju dek urang yang berarti toleransi, dan (3) ka mudiak sa antak galah, ka hilia sarangkuah dayuang, sasuai lahie jo bathin, sasuai muluik jo hati yang berarti kerjasama yang terkandung dalam kebudayaan Minangkabau yang selalu diwarisi secara turun-temurun salah satunya melalui kesenian tradisional talempong pacik. Pendekatan ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen pre-test pos-test. Sampel sejumlah 30 orang siswa dari 300 populasi siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 9 Kota Padang Sumatera Barat, ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Varibel bebasnya adalah permainan musik talempong pacik sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah disiplin, toleransi, dan kerjasama. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Validitas dan realibilitas instrumen  menggunakan korelasi product moment pearson dan Alpha Cronbach’s. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang positif dan signifikan antara pre-test dan pos-test.  Kesenian tradisional talempong pacik berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan sikap disiplin, toleransi dan kerjasama siswa SMA Negeri 9 Kota Padang Sumatera Barat.Kata kunci: kesenian tradisional, talempong pacik, pendidikan, disiplin, toleransi, dan kerjasama TRADITIONAL EFFECTIVENESS TALEMPONG PACIK TO INCREASED DISCPLINE, TOLERANCE, AND COOPERATION OF STUDENTSAbstractThis research is aimed at revealing the effect of the traditional art of talempong pacik on the character of discipline, tolerance, and cooperation of the students  of SMAN Padang, Sumatera Barat. This research was based on the philosophical values of 1. alua jo patuik which refers to discipline, 2.  bajalan paliharo kaki, paliharo lidah, kato sapatah dipikia an, nan elok dek awak ka tuju dek urang which refers to tolerance, and 3. ka mudiak sa antak galah, ka hilia sarangkuah dayuang, sasuai lahie jo bathin, sasuai muluik jo hati which refers to cooperation implied in Minangkabau culture and inherited from generation to generation, one of which is through the traditional art of talempong pacik. This research was quantitative research and used the pre-test pos-test experimental design. The sample were 30 students from 300 population of students from tenth graders in SMAN 9  Padang Sumatera Barat, established by using the purposive sampling technique. The independent variable is a music game talempong pacik while the dependent variable is a discipline, tolerance, and cooperation . The validity and the reliability of the instrument were calculated by using Person product moment and Alpha Cronbach’s. While the data analysis using descriptive analysis t test. The result showed that there were differences that positive and significant correlation between pretest and posttest. Talempong art pacik affect the increased discipline, tolerance, and cooperation of students SMA 9 cities desert country western Sumatra.Keywords: traditional art, talempong pacik, education, discpline, tolerance, and  cooperation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan: (1) penguasaan konsep IPS yang dihasilkan oleh metode debat dan metode ceramah; (2) penguasaan konsep pada kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi antara metode debat dan metode ceramah; (3) penguasaan konsep pada kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah antara metode debat dan metode ceramah; dan (4) interaksi pengaruh metode pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap penguasaan konsep IPS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling dan terpilih kelas VIII 1 dan VIII 2. Validitas instrumen tes penguasaan konsep diukur dengan expert judgement dan reliabilitasnya diukur dengan metode iteman. Validitas angket diukur dengan analisis faktor dan reliabilitasnya diukur dengan Cronbach 's Alpha. Normalitas data diuji dengan Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Homogenitas data diukur dengan Levene test. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan teknik Analisis Varian 2x2 pada signifikansi 0,05.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan konsep yang dihasilkan oleh metode debat  dan ceramah dalam pembelajaran IPS; (2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan konsep IPS pada kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi antara metode debat dan ceramah; (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penguasaan konsep IPS pada kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah antara metode debat dan ceramah; dan (4) terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara metode pembelajaran dan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap penguasaan konsep IPS.Kata kunci: Metode Debat, metode ceramah, berpikir kritis, penguasaan Konsep IPS THE DIFFERENCE DEBATE AND LECTURE METHODS IN THE MATERY OF CONCEPT OF SOCIAL STUDIES AND CRITICAL THINKING OF THE STUDENTAbstractThis research aims to determine significant differences: (1) mastery of the concepts social studies produced by debate method and a lecture method; (2) mastery of the concept of critical thinking skills high on the methods of debate and a lecture; (3) mastery of concepts at lower critical thinking skills among the methods of debate and a lecture; and (4) the interaction effect of teaching methods and critical thinking skills to mastery of concepts social studies. This research was quasi experiment using the 2x2 factorial design. This study population is all students of SMP Negeri 23 Makassar. Sampling using purposive random sampling and elected VIII grade 1 and VIII 2 that use the lecture method. The validity of the assessment instruments mastery of concepts  measured by expert judgment and reliabiJity was measured by using the iteman  method. The validity of the questionnaire was measured by Cronbach's  Alpha. The data normality was tested by Kolmogorov-Smimov. The data homogeneity was tested by Levene test. The hypothesis testing using was perprmed using the analysis of variance 2x2 at significantly 0.05. The results showed that: (1) there is a significant difference mastery of concepts generated by the methods of debate and lectures .in teaching social studies; (2) there are significant differences in the social studies concept mastery higher critical thinking skills among  the methods of debate and lectures; (3) there are significant differences in the  social studies concept mastery poor critical thinking skills among the methods of debate and  lectures; and (4) there is a  significant interaction between method of learning and critical thinking of students towards mastery of concepts social studies.Keywords:debate method, lecture method, critical thinking, concepts mastery social

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif kausal dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI IPS di 13 SMA swasta di Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Sampel sekolah sejumlah lima sekolah diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel siswa sebanyak 97 siswa ditentukan dengan teknik area proporsional random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket untuk variable kreativitas mengajar guru, pola asuh orang tua, iklim sekolah, serta dokumentasi untuk variable Prestasi belajar. Pengujian validitas instrument dilakukan dengan expert judgment dan confirmatory factor analysis, sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alfa Cronbach. Analisis  data menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana dan ganda, dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kreativitas mengajar guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, dan kreativitas mengajar guru termasuk kategori tinggi; (2) pola asuh orang tua berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, dan pola asuh orang tua termasuk kategori sedang; (3) iklim sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, dan iklim sekolah termasuk kategori tingggi; (4) kreativitas mengajar guru, pola asuh orang tua, iklim sekolah secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini berarti kreativitas mengajar guru, motivasi belajar, dan lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa secara terpisah maupun secara bersama-sama.Kata kunci: kreativitas mengajar guru, pola asuh orang tua, iklim sekolah THE EFFECT OF TEACHERS’ CREATIVITY, PARENTING, AND SCHOOL ATMOSPHERE ON STUDENTS LEARNING ACHIEVEMENTAbstractThis study is an associativecausal research using quantitative approach. The population was all XI IPS students in 13 private senior high schools at Gunungkidul regency. Then, 5 schools weretaken to be the sample by using cluster random sampling. Whereas, the sample of the students were 97 students determined by using the technique of area proportional random sampling. The technique of data collection for the variable of teachers’ creativity, parenting, and school climate was questionnaire, while documentation was used to collect data for the variable of learning achievement. The validity testing of instruments of this research was expert judgment and confirmatory factor analysis and alpha cronbach is taken for reliability testing. The data were analyzed by using simple and multiple regression technique at 0.05 of significance level. The findings of the study show that: (1) the teachers’ creativity has positive and significant effect on the students’ learning achievement, and this is included in high category; (2) parenting has positive and significant effect on the students’ learning achievement, and this is included in middle category; (3) school climate has positive and significant effect to the students’ learning achievement, and this is also in high category; (4) teachers’ creativity, parenting, and school climate simultaneously have positive and significant effect on the students’ learning achievement. It is concluded that, either separately or simultaneously, teachers’ creativity, learning motivation, and family have an effect on students’ learning achievement.Keywords: teachers’ creativity, parenting, school climate

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas studi lapangan di kawasan mangrove dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui hasil belajar geografi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen. Analisis data menggunakan paired t-test dan independent-t test. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: rerata hasil belajar geografi yang menggunakan studi lapangan (×̅ =76,11 ) lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar indoor study (×̅=67,68) pada taraf signifikansi dan t hitung 15,489. Hal ini mengartikan bahwa penerapan metode studi lapangan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajaran geografi siswa. Metode studi lapangan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi siswa pada taraf signifikansi dan t hitung 2,868. Terdapat perbedaan yang nyata dari gain score hasil belajar siswa pada kedua kelompok perlakuan. Nilai rata-rata gain score pada metode pembelajaran studi lapangan yaitu 0,51 dan hasil belajar siswa kelas indoor study yaitu 0,38. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa metode studi lapangan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi siswa.Kata kunci: metode lapangan, metode indoor, hasil belajar geografi THE EFFECTIVENESS OF FIELD STUDIES IN THE MANGROVE AREA IN IMPROVING GEOGRAPHY LEARNING AT HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis research aims to reveal the effectiveness field studies in the mangrove area of teaching in improving geography learning. This research was quantitative research with the quasi experiment approach. The data analysis used paired t-test and independent of t test.  The result of this research shows that there is a significant learning outcomes (×̅=76,11 ) with teaching method of field studies at  significance and t count 15.489. This means that the teaching methods of field studies can improve geography learning achievement. The teacing method of field studies is effective in improving the geography learning achievement at the significance and t count 2.868. indoor class student learning outcomes study is (×̅=67,68). There is a real difference from the gain score of student learning outcomes in both groups. The value of the average gain scores on learning methods of field studies is 0.51 and outcomes of student’s learning class indoor study is 0.38. This means that the field study method is more effective in improving the results of student’s geography learning.Keywords: field method, indoor method, learning geography
