Abstract

This research discusses about code switching Oz Radio announcer 94,4 FM and the implication of  Indonesian Language teaching in high school. The goal of this research is to describe the forms and the cause of code switching Oz Radio announcer 94,4 FM and the implication if Indonesian Language in high school. The result of the research shows that the code switching phenomena is found for about 161. There are there kind of code switching they are tag switching, intrasentential switching, and intersentential switching. Tag switching is caused by the changing of the situation, influenced by interlocutor, and topic changing. Intrasentential switching is caused by quoting someone’s conversation, topic changing, wants to be assume as a “well-educated person”, influenced by interlocutors that translate it to English, and avoid from the impolite words in Indonesian Language, whereas intersentential switching is caused by quoting someone’s conversations, the changing of the media, wants to be assumed as a “well-educated person”, influenced by the interlocutors that changes to English, topic changing and the third person. Based on the research, code switching can be used as a teaching source for Indonesian Language that gives many benefits, knowledge and the application to the students about the variation usage or language variation that occur by context, so it can make a communicative communication. Keywords: code switching, Oz Radio announcer 94,4 FM

Abstract

The problem discussed in this research was the usage of spoken language in the students’ learning activities of class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau academic year 2013-2014. This research aimed at describing the usage of spoken language in the students’ learning activities of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau academic year 2013-2014. The method was used is qualitative descriptive. The data collecting technique used observation and recording. The data sources was the conversation in learning activities of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau. This study showed that the usage of spoken language in the learning activities student class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau consisted of 4 aspect. 4 aspect of formal spoken language, they were word form had 25 words, diction words had 12 words, spelling had 4 words, and 10 effective sentences.Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan bahasa lisan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan bahasa lisan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pengamatan dan rekaman. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah percakapan di kelas dalam proses kegiatan belajar-mengajar pada kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahasa lisan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau terdiri atas empat aspek ragam lisan resmi yaitu bentuk kata sebanyak 25 kata, pilihan kata (diksi) sebanyak 12 kata, lafal sebanyak 4 kata, dan kalimat efektif sebanyak 10 kalimat.Kata kunci: bahasa, kegiatan pembelajaran, lisan.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how is the pattern of sentence of Lampung Post headlines in January 2013 edition. The objectives are to describe the pattern of sentences used and its implication toward Indonesian learning in SMP. This research used descriptive design. The source of data of this research were the headlines sentences pattern. The amount of data sources were seven copies by using purposive sampling techniques. The results show that the amount of obtainable sentences are 158. 2 sentences in pattern S-P, 22 in the pattern S-P-O, 17 sentences in the pattern S-P-Pel, 34 sentences in the pattern S-P-K, 12 sentences in pattern S-P-O-Pel, and 10 sentences in pattern S-P-O-K. Meanwhile, according to the result of finding, there are 61 sentences pattern. The study of variations of sentence patterns implicates toward the learning of the aspect of writing skill.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pola kalimat berita utama Lampung Post edisi Januari 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola kalimat yang digunakan dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMP. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini pola kalimat dalam berita utama. Sumber data berjumlah tujuh eksemplar dengan penggunaan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kalimat yang diperoleh berjumlah 158. Pola S-P berjumlah 2 kalimat, pola S-P-O berjumlah 22 kalimat , pola S-P-Pel berjumlah 17 kalimat , pola S-P-Ket berjumlah 34 kalimat , pola S-P-O-Pel berjumlah 12 kalimat, dan pola S-P-O-Ket berjumlah 10 kalimat . Sementara untuk pola kalimat berdasarkan hasil temuan peneliti berjumlah 61 kalimat. Kajian variasi pola kalimat berimplikasi terhadap materi pembelajaran dalam aspek keterampilan menulis.Kata kunci: berita utama, implikasi, lampung post, pola kalimat.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how is the storyteller’s point of view in the novel of Padang Bulan written by Andrea Hirata. The purpose of this research is to describe the storyteller’s point of view in the novel and its implications upon literature learning in SMA. This research used qualitative descriptive method. The data resources were taken from the novel Padang Bulan written by Andrea Hirata. It is found that the novel makes use of (1) the third person point of view of the omniscient narrator and the observer narrator and (2) the first person point of view of the narrator as the main character. The choice of point of view gives the different effect for readers. Padang Bulan is worthy to be used as a alternative learning material for students in SMA.Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah sudut pandang pencerita dalam novel Padang Bulan karya Andrea Hirata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan sudut pandang pencerita dalam novel dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Padang Bulan karya Andrea Hirata. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan (1) sudut pandang persona ketiga narator mahatahu dan narator pengamat, dan (2) sudut pandang persona pertama narator sebagai tokoh utama. Pemilihan sudut pandang memberikan efek yang berbeda-beda bagi pembaca. Novel Padang Bulan layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar siswa di SMA.Kata kunci: efek sudut pandang, implikasi bahan ajar, sudut pandang pencerita.

Abstract

The research problem of this study is student’s punctuation scripts of Social and Political Sciences Faculty at the Lampung University in 2011 academic year. The aim is to describe how  pungtuation in their scripts. While there are 168 scripts, only 10 scripts were taken as the data source. Using documentation to yield data, the present researcher purposively select three pages out of each chapter of any script. In the case of insufficient pages, the whole chapter will be selected. Based on data analysis, the researcher found that there are accuracy as well as inaccuracy in students pungtuation. Based on error analysis through surface strategy taxonomy, it was found that there are mistakes in omission, addition, and misformation.Keywords: script, pungtuation, student

Abstract

The research dealt with the problem of language usage in the writings of tenth-grade students of SMAN 1 Palas. The purpose is to describe the using of Indonesia language toward the student’s written. The research uses descriptive research design. The population is all of the students at tenth-grade, total students are 142. The sample was taken 15% from the total of population, there are 20 students. The result of the analyses include the following (1) the uses of capitals, clitic pronouns, the prefixes di- and ke-, periods, and commas totaled 1.388 cases with the accuracy percentage 81% (1.121 cases) and the inaccuracies 19% (267 cases); (2) word uses numbered 4.109 cases with an accuracy percentage of 99% or 4.058 cases and inaccuracies of only 1% or 51 cases; (3) sentences totaled 267 cases, in which 129 cases (48%) were accurate and 138 cases (52%) inaccurate.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan bahasa Indonesia pada karangan siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Palas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia pada karangan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 142. Sampel diambil 15% dari jumlah populasi, yaitu 20. Setelah dianalisis, diperoleh simpulan (1) penggunaan ejaan meliputi penggunaan huruf kapital, kata ganti klitik, kata depan di dan ke, tanda titik, dan tanda koma berjumlah 1.388 dengan ketepatan 1.121 atau sebesar 81% dan ketidaktepatan 267 atau sebesar 19%; (2) penggunaan kata berjumlah 4.109 dengan ketepatan 4.058 atau sebesar 99% dan ketidaktepatan 51 atau sebesar 1%; (3) penggunaan kalimat berjumlah 267 dengan ketepatan 129 atau sebesar 48% dan ketidaktepatan 138 atau sebesar 52%.Kata kunci: ejaan, kalimat, kata.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the learning of arranging observation result text at the seventh class of SMP Negeri 2 Kotagajah Central Lampung. The research used quantitative descriptive design. The result of the research showed that the teacher had done three steps in learning. Those three steps were: learning plan, implementation of learning and assessment of learning. In learning plan, the teacher made complete lesson plan based on the lesson plan’s components in 2013 curriculum. In the implementation of learning, there were two activities: teacher’s activities and students’ activities. The activities that were done by teacher including three activities: pre activities, while activity and post activity. The assessment that was done by teacher including attitude competence assessment by using observation technique, knowledge competence assessment by using oral and written test, and skill competence assessment by using practice test.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menyusun teks hasil observasi pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kotagajah Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melakukan tiga tahapan dalam pembelajaran. Ketiga tahapan tersebut meliputi perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Pada perencanaan pembelajaran, guru membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) lengkap berdasarkan komponen – komponen RPP pada kurikulum 2013. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran terdapat dua aktivitas, yaitu aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa. Aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh guru meliputi tiga kegiatan, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup. Penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru mencakup penilaian kompetensi sikap dengan teknik observasi, penilaian kompetensi pengetahuan dengan teknik tes tulis dan tes lisan, dan penilaian kompetensi keterampilan dengan teknik tes praktik.Kata kunci: menyusun, pembelajaran, teks hasil observasi.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the ability of narrating interview text class VII SMPN SatuAtap1 2011/2012. Research aimed to describe the level of students ability in narrating interview text. This research uses descriptive design. Population was all students of class VII SMPN SatuAtap1 2011/2012 amounted to 53 students. Samples were taken by systematic sampling technique, ie students with odd numbers. Thus, the sample were 27 students. Data were collected through a written narrative test based on the interviews text. Aspects assessed were coherence, cohessive, completeness interview information, changing direct and indirect sentences, spelling usage, and diction. The results are as follows. In cohessive aspects, the score of students ability is 89.62 included in excellent, coherence aspects the score is 84.44 uncategorized good, completeness interviews aspects (60), changing direct and indirect sentences (70), as well diction (66.29) each qualified enough. Finally, spelling usage aspects, the score is 20.37 included in fail. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the ability of narrating interview text class VII SMPN SatuAtap1 quite enough with an average score is 65.04.Keywords: ability, narrative, assessment aspects

Abstract

The problem in this research is the use of effective sentences in text of speech in students class X SMA Negeri 1 Katibung South Lampung in academic year 2014/2015. The aim is to describe the use of effective sentences in text of speech in students class X SMA Negeri 1 Katibung, South Lampung in academic year 2014/2015. The method is used in this research is descriptive method. The source of the data in this research is students class X5 which consist of 30 students who have almost the same characteristics and capabilities. Data collecting technique in this research is an objective test of writing texts. Based on the result of data analysis, it is found that sentences which is used by the students are 291 sentences, using of an effective sentences is 170 sentences with percentage 58,4%, and using of uneffective sentences is 121 sentences with percentage 41,6%.Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan kalimat efektif pada teks pidato siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Katibung Lampung Selatan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan kalimat efektif pada teks pidato siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Katibung Lampung Selatan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X5 dengan jumlah 30 orang yang memiliki karakteristik dan kemampuan hampir sama. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes penggunaan kalimat efektif pada teks pidato siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui jumlah kalimat yang digunakan sebanyak 291 kalimat, penggunaan kalimat efektif sebanyak 170 kalimat dengan persentase 58,4%, dan penggunaan kalimat tidak efektif sebanyak 121 kalimat dengan persentase 41,6% .Kata kunci: kalimat, penggunaan, teks.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the use of deixist in 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa novel with Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra as the authors and its implications for learning Indonesian language at SMA. The source of data was 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa novel with Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra as the authors. This research used qualitative descriptive method. In this research it was found exophor and endophor. Exophor data can be personal deixist, room deixist, and time deixist. Personal deixist is divided into three, namely the first person, second person, and the third person. Then endophor deixist is divided into anaphor and cataphor. The deixist study in this research has implications for learning Indonesian language in SMA class X, on writing anecdotes text as teaching materials.Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pemakaian deiksis dalam novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Di dalam penelitian ditemukan data eksofora dan endofora. Data eksofora berupa deiksis persona, deiksis ruang, dan deiksis waktu. Deiksis persona terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu persona pertama, persona kedua, dan persona ketiga. Kemudian deiksis endofora yang terbagi menjadi anafora dan katafora Kajian deiksis dalam penelitian ini berimplikasi terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA kelas X, pada pembelajaran menulis materi teks anekdot sebagai bahan ajar.Kata kunci: deiksis, pembagian deiksis, implikasi bahan ajar.
