Abstract

This study aimed to understand the effectiveness of the classroom guidance activity for the academic aspect to improve achievement motivation underachiever gifted students in SMA Negeri 4 Bandung. This was an experimental study with pre-experimental design.  The data were collected through achievement motivation scale. The subject of this study was 30 students of class X SMA Negeri 4 Bandung. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique of this study was paired sample t-test statistical formula.  The result of this study showed that classroom guidance activity for the academic aspect was effective to improve achievement motivation underachiever gifted students. This study generates a new strategy in the form of classroom guidance activity for the academic aspect was effective to improve achievement motivation underachiever gifted students.

Abstract

The study aims to find out the improvement of social adjustment in university on International Studies on Science Education (IPSE) student of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) after being given social personal guidance. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. Subjects in this study were 44 students taken with random sampling technique. The data collection tool in this study used a scale of social adjustment in college. The data analysis in this study uses t-test. The results showed that personal social guidance can improve social adjustment in college students by using sociodrama, simulation, and experience techniques. This study presents an alternative strategy for academic advisors in universities to facilitate students in developing social adjustment skills in universities.

Abstract

Program Bimbingan dan Konseling Pribadi-Sosial Untuk Mengembangkan Perilaku Seksual Sehat Remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan program bimbingan dan konseling pribadi­ sosial untuk mengembangkan perilaku seksual sehat siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Data kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang saling mendukung digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas sepuluh SMA Kartika Siliwangi 1 Bandung berjumlah 277 siswa. Sampel peneitian berjumlah 39 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan mempertimbangkan skor pre test pada setiap kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian skala perilaku seksual sehat remaja, observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) secara umum perilaku seksual siswa berada pada taraf waspada menuju perlu pengembangan; (2) penanganan masalah perilaku seksual siswa dilakukan dengan pelayanan responsif dengan pendekatan reaktif­sporadis; (3) program bimbingan dan konseling di SMA Kartika Siliwangi 1 Bandung belum menggunakan paradigma baru bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif dengan pendekatan pencegahan dan pengembangan; (4) Program bimbingan dan konseling pribadi-sosial untuk mengembangkan perilaku seksual sehat remaja mengacu pada bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif dengan pendekatan berorientasi pada pencegahan dan pengembangan; dan (5) program bimbingan dan konseling pribadi-sosial terbukti efektif untuk mengembangkan perilaku seksual sehat siswa.Kata kunci : Bimbingan dan Konseling, Pribadi Sosial, Perilaku Seksual Remaja

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah metode simulasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V. Penelitian ini mengambil Lokasi di SD Muhammadiyah Bantar Banguncipto Sentolo Kulon Progo dengan jumlah subjek 24 anak. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan Metode simulasi menggunakan tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, wawancara dan tes hasil belajar. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, display data, uji asumsi, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode simulasi terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa: Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal siklus I sebesar 25%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 41,67% dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 79,17%, rata-rata nilai mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I 61, 13 di siklus II 69,54 dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 80,29. Dalam statistik deskriptif uji t paired sample t test diperoleh hasil pertandingan siklus I dan siklus 2 jumlah sample 24 nilai Sig (0,001) < α (0,05), dan perbandingan siklus 2 dan siklus 3 diperoleh nilai Sig (0,013) < α (0,05). Jadi, dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan rata-rata nilai tes hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan dari ketiga siklus pembelajaran melalui metode simulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan penggunaan metode simulasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial materi pokok jual beli bagi siswa kelas V.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar IPS, Metode Simulasi

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the perception of students on teacher performance counseling certified educators (the field of guidance and counseling). the method in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The research was conducted in SMP N 1 Banguntapan, with a population of students of class IX in SMP N 1 Banguntapan with the number of 30 students. Instruments in this study using a questionnaire with data analysis techniques using grouping criteria, moderate, and less. The results obtained in this study concluded that students' perceptions of teacher performance guidance and counseling in both categories on the basis of the data categories of each aspect, among others: aspects of personal competence with the number of 14 students (47%), aspects of social competence with number 25 students (83%), and aspects of professional competence by the number of 23 students (77%). This study may provide information to teachers BK to improve performance related to personal competence, social, and professional, so it can be a teacher BK capable of carrying out its duties and responsibilities in providing guidance and counseling services in schools optimally.

Abstract

 This study focused on: "media puzzle modification to increase the activity following the information guidance and counseling services". Modifications made to the content of media puzzle, shapes, how to play and igredients.The purpose of this study is 1) Improve student activity following the information guidance and counseling services with media modifications puzzle. 2) th increase results in service results in the form of knowledge (understanding), a positive attitude (comfortable) and a plan of action (action). Students at grade 8th-I as study subjects, which has been implementing the 2013 curriculum. The research approach is Action Research, as much as two cycles. The data required in this research is data active learners who obtained using observation with sheet instrument, then the data of the service that was obtained through the test instrument, non test. Results of the study as follows: 1) Modification of media information services puzzle in guidance and counseling can increase active learners. 2) Puzzle modification in guidance and counseling information services can improve service results. The results of this study can be used as reference material for the school counselor to develop media in guidance and counseling services as well as enhance the activity of students in participating in the information services of guidance and counseling in schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the correlation between the big five personality and religiosity and the employee’ subjective well-being in the University Muhammadiyah Malang. This was a correlational study with fifty-five employees as the subject of the study. The data of this study were collected through the big five inventory, religiosity scale, and well-being scale. The data of this study were analyzed by using Spearman correlation non-parametric statistical test and product moment correlation parametric statistical test. The result of this study showed that the big five personality, particularly extraversion, openness and religiosity correlated with the subjective well-being, while agreeableness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism did not correlate with the well-being.  This study found that the more the employee leads to extraversion and openness, the better level of well being they have, and the higher religiosity felt by the employee, the higher well-being they will feel. The result of this study gives an alternative policy for the Institution in increasing the employee’ well-being.  Developing the employee’ religiosity and big five personality can increase the employee’ well-being

Abstract

This research aims to find out some factors related to the sexual maturity, such as the social anxiety and emotional maturity on the adolescents of the SMP in Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta. The hypotheses which are presented in this research are: First; there is a relation between the social anxiety and emotional maturity towards the sexual maturity; Second, there is a negative relation between the social anxiety and sexual maturity; Third, there is a positive relation between the emotional maturity and sexual maturity.The research participants were 70 male and female adolescents in SMP N 2 Banguntapan, Kabupaten Bantul. The data gathering was carried out in two phases, First, by applying the sampling area technique in order to determine the research location and Second, by applying the cluster random sampling technique to determine the research sample subject. Meanwhile, the research instrument which was employed was the scale of social anxiety, emotional maturity and sexual adolescents maturity. The double-regression technique was applied to analyze the data in this research.The result of this research showed that: First, there was a relation between social anxiety and emotional maturity towards the sexual maturity in adolescentsof the SMP in Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta (R=0,667, R2=0,445, F-regression= 26,911 and the significant level for about p< 0,01). Second, there was a negative relation between the social anxiety and sexual maturity in adolescentof the SMP in Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta (R partial=0,632, p=0,01). Third, there was a positive relation between the emotional maturity and sexual maturity in adolescebtsof the SMP in Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta (R partial=0,358, level p<0,01).Key words:  Sexual Maturity, Social Anxiety, Emotional Maturity.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the dangers of bullying through increased understanding of classroom guidance on eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta Academic Year 2012/2013. The results showed that after being given a classical guidance services, understanding the dangers that are in the category of very high that the number of frequency of  23 by 71, 875%. In the category of very high already reached more than half the number of students. In the high category with a number of frequencies 6, 18, 75%, moderate category frequency number 3 for 9, 375%, the low category number 0 of 0%, the category of very low with the number of frequencies 0 of 0%. Thus, it can be concluded that the classical guidance is effective and innovative strategies to improve the understanding of eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta on understanding the dangers of bullying. The results of this study can be used as reference material for the teacher guidance and counseling to improve understanding of the dangers of bullying on students through classical counseling services in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of authoritative parenting, parents’ education, number of siblings toward independence at an early age children in kindergarten IT Salman Al Farisi. This research used quantitative approach with correlation type. The research subject was 53 students of kindergarten IT Salman Al Farisi Yogyakarta. Data collection instruments used in the form of guidelines for observation of independence, authoritative parenting scale, parents’ education questionnaire, and the questionnaire of siblings numbers. Data analysis techniques used multiple regression. The results showed that there were positive and highly significant role between authoritative parenting, parents’ education, and number of siblings toward independence together amounted to 39.6%. Specifically there is a positive role and very significant between authoritative parenting towards independence with a contribution of 27.2%, there is a positive role and significant correlation between parents’ education towards independence with a contribution of 21.2%, there is a positive role and very significant between number of siblings toward independence with contributions 51.6%. The results of this study can be used as information for guidance and counseling teachers in providing information to parents about appropriate parenting for children to make them grow and develop optimally.
