Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran Kepemimpinan Transformasional dan Kedisiplinan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru TK di Kecamatan Bantul dengan jumlah sampel 48 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Skala Kedisiplinan Kerja, dan Skala Kinerja Guru. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang positif antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan kedisiplinan kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan Fhitung 61,650 atau signifikan p < 5% (0,000 < 0,05). Ada pengaruh yang positif antara kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja dengan nilai t hitung 10,362 dengan p = 000 (p < 0,05). Ada pengaruh yang positif antara kedisiplinan kerja terhadap kinerja guru t hitung sebesar 3,531 dengan p = 0,001 (p < 001).

The research is motivated by the lack of intrapersonal and interpersonal competence of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia’s students. The research aimed to test the effectiveness of experiential-based counseling program to develop intrapersonal and interpersonal competencies of students. The research using qualitative and quantitative approach with quasi-experimental methods, and with the equivalent time series design. The Study was conducted in the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia with 92 s participants Student French Language participants using non-random sampling technique. The instrument used a likert scale of intrapersonal and interpersonal. Data were analyzed using paired t-test. The results showed that experiential-based counseling program effective to develop intrapersonal and interpersonal competencies students. Overall there was an increase intrapersonal competence of students with an average score of 12.39%, and improved interpersonal competence of students with an average score of 17.93%. This research can be used as a reference for the guidance and counseling services unit, lecturer and counselors at universities to develop the intrapersonal and interpersonal competence of student.

This study aims to improve the career aspirations of students through Islamic group guidance services. The design study is pre experimental with one type of group pre-test and post-test design. The research subjects were ten students of guidance and counseling Teacher Training College PGRI Madiun taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection instrument used a scale of career aspirations. Analysis of data to test the effectiveness of the guidance of Islamic groups used the Wilcoxon test. The results of data analysis show a comparison z-score of -2.810 with a probability value of 0.005. Career aspirations of students before being given the Islamic guidance (pretest) showed an average score of 96.5 and after being given counseling the Islamic group (posttest) showed an average score of 131.5. It can be concluded that the Islamic group guidance services can improve students’ career aspirations of guidance and counseling Teacher Training College PGRI Madiun. The results of this study can be used as an additional reference for guidance and counseling course lecturers and counselors at universities for improving the career aspirations of students through Islamic group guidance services.

The purpose of this study is to determine the increase of time management understanding through group guidance with problem solving techniques. This research is a classroom action research with cross sectional type. The subjects of research were ten students of class VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection instrument used was in the form of a questionnaire of time management understanding. Data analysis technique to test the effectiveness of group guidance was problem solving technique which is to improve the understanding of time management of SMP students using the Wilcoxon test. The results of data analysis shows a mean of time management understanding before the action of problem solving techniques was 55.30 and the average after problem solving techniques given was 78.60. Wilcoxon test results shows p = 0.005 so that we can conclude that there is an increase of time management understanding of SMP students after using group guidance with problem solving techniques. The results of this study can be useful for guidance and counseling teachers as a consideration material in improving the understanding of students’ time management through group guidance services using problem solving techniques.

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the reality counseling in developing students’ career decision. This was a one group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental study. The subjects of this study were seven students of 2013 Guidance and Counseling department whose score stability was lower than career decision by using a close-ended questionnaire to collect the data. The data analysis technique of this study was paired t-test. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that there was a difference in the students’ stability score of career decision. The pre-treatment score was low, while the post-treatment score was high. It was proven by the result of T-test analysis which p = 0.000 < 0.05 and t count 8,280 > t table = 2,447. It can be concluded that the reality counseling was effective to develop career decision. This study is recomended for the university counselor to reinforce students’ career decision through reality counseling.

Biopsikologi merupakan istilah yang dikembangkan oleh para ilmuwan yang berhubungan dengan studi tentang hubungan biologi dan perilaku. Konselor dengan memahami biopsikologi dapat memahami persoalan atau kelebihan siswa dengan lebih komprehensif. Masalah sistem biologis individu yang kurang sempurna dapat menjadi penyebab, misalnya organ-organ tubuhnya mengalami kekurangan zat besi. Pemahaman terhadap konsep biopsikologi akan dapat membuat individu lebih melihat suatu masalah dari berbagai sudut pandang. Ia perlu mendalami apakah orang tersebut kekurangan unsur atau mineral-mineral tertentu. One of the tasks the development of high school teenagers are prepared to face the world of work or career. This study aims to improve students' career planning through career guidance with the use of media modules in class XII IPA 2 MAN Wonokromo Bantul academic year 2013/2014. This research is action research. The subjects were taken in this study using purposive sampling as many as 12 students who have a low level of career planning. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and observation. Analysis of the data used using the formula t-test to see the differences between the mean pretest and posttest mean. The research shows students career planning class XII IPA 2 can be enhanced through the use of media career guidance module seen from the significant difference from the average prior to career guidance at 105.25 and after a mean of 122.50 and career guidance. It can be concluded "there is increasing career guidance, career planning through the use of media modules in class XII IPA 2 MAN Wonokromo Bantul academic year 2013/2014. The results of this study can be used as reference material for teachers bmbingan and counseling programming and media development of career counseling services to improve students' career planning.

This study aims to describe the students' perception of the orientation services of class X SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. This research is descriptive quantitative. The participants consisted 104 students of 10th grade at SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta selected by random sampling techniques. The instruments used in data collection are questionnaires. The obtained data of the students' perception of orientation services were analyzed using simple calculation by categorizing them into three criteria: good, moderate, poor. The results of the research showed that the students’ perception of the orientation services of class X SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta are categorized as good, moderate, and poor, reaching the average percentage of each are 49%, 51%, and 0%, respectively. The results of this study can be used as consideration for the guidance and counseling teachers in developing orientation services in accordance with the students’ needs and interests

This study aimed to find out the improvement of students’ interpersonal communication skill after coming to assertiveness training through role play method in group guidance. This was a quasi-experimental study with nonequivalent control group design. The number of subjects in this study was ten people in the experimental group and ten people in the control group. The subject of this study was taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection instrument for this study was valid and reliable interpersonal communication scale. The data analysis technique in this study was the nonparametric statistic with Mann Whitney U Test or Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test. The result of the data analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the score of experimental and group control. It means that assertive training through role play in group guidance was more effective to improve students’ interpersonal communication skill than the implementation of group guidance without assertiveness training. The result of this study showed that the use of assertiveness training through role play was an effective method in group guidance service for improving students' interpersonal communication. The school counselor can utilize the result of this study to improve the students’ interpersonal communication by using assertiveness training strategy through role play in group guidance service.

This research aims to reveal ‘hope' of Indonesian adolescents especially in Bantul regency of Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data were gathered from 106 adolescents consisting of 38 males and 68 females (16 -18 years old) from high schools.The instruments of this study was a hope scale in the form of semantic deferential scale ranged from 1 to 8 (1= very inappropriate, 8 = very appropriate). The data analysis of this study was descriptive statistics. The result of the study showed that the hope of female students is higher than male students. In agency thinking, male students are higher than female students, otherwise, in pathways thinking, female students are higher than male students. Based on the parents' occupation, those who work in private sector have high hope. Conversely, the students whose parents are farmers have a low hope. The lowest scale of pathways thinking was obtained by the students whose parents are farmers as well as in the agency showed that the students whose parents are labours obtained the lowest scale
