Abstract

Tulisan ini ingin mengajak pembaca mengerti tentang apa bullying, jenis bullying, dan cara meminimalisasikannya dengan cara-cara yang tepat agar mengerti bahaya yang diakibatkan perilaku bullying di kalangan remaja, baik dari pihak korban maupun pelaku bullying. Ternyata perilaku bullying banyak terjadi di sekolah, tetapi masih jarang sekali diperhatikan oleh para pendidik (yang bertanggung jawab), sehingga banyak diantara mereka hal tersebut sangat lumrah, padahal itu merupakan perilaku yang tidak baik.Upaya meminimalisasikan bullying, yaitu: 1) cermati gejala-gejala perubahan anak, dan segeralah lakukan pendekatan padanya, 2) tenanglah dalam bertindak, sambil meyakinkan anak bahwa ia telah mendapat perlindungan dari perilaku bullying mendatang, 3) laporkan kepada guru/pihak sekolah untuk segera dilakukan penyelidikan tentang apa yang telah terjadi, 5) meminta pihak sekolah untuk memberikan info tentang apa yang sebenarnya telah terjadi, dan 6) mengajarkan anak cara-cara menghadapi bullying.Kata kunci: bullying; upaya meminimalisasikannya

Abstract

The attitude of the leadership of the most prominent school environment that is at OSIS which has a role in promoting the school, but the school also sometimes just pay attention to students who have shown ability to lead but did not give a chance to the other students. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase leadership attitudes through sociodramas OSIS SMAN 1 Poor Bantul Yogyakarta. This research is a class action (classroom action research) using sociodramas. Subjects in this study were 14 students OSIS. The data collection is done by using a questionnaire instrument leadership attitudes, and the observation sheet. The validity of research instruments using internal validity with item analysis using product moment formula, while for the reliability test using internal reliability with alpha formula. Analysis of the data in this study using the formula t-test to see the difference in the mean pretest and posttest results. The results of this research note that the method sociodrama can improve the attitude of the leadership, it is based on the pretest are in enough category by the number of frequency of 14 to 100%, and at posttest are in enough category with a number of frequency 8 at 57.14%, and then in the category both the number of frequencies 6 by 42.86%, so it can be concluded that there is an increasing position of leadership through sociodrama OSIS SMAN 1 Poor Bantul Yogyakarta. The results of this study can be useful for guidance and counseling teachers in developing guidance service groups using sociodrama to support student leadership attitude. For Deputy Head of Student and Pembina OSIS, this study may provide information about students' attitudes OSIS leadership so that it can be used as a reference in making the right program for OSIS.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the role of learning motivation, self-efficacy and family support in self-regulated learning of the 11th grade of SMA N 2 Bantul’s Students. There were as many as 248 students in the population of the 11th grade of SMA Negeri 2 Bantul and 72 of them were selected as samples using cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected by using learning motivation scale, self-efficacy, family support and self-regulated learning. The data analysis technique made use of multiple regression analysis and partial correlation technique. The regression analysis indicated positive correlation between learning motivation, self-efficacy and family support, and self-regulated learning with F value of 37.345, p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). There was positive impact of learning motivation to Self-Regulated Learning with t = 2.767, p = 0.007 (p < 0.05). There was a positive role of Self-Efficacy to Self-Regulated Learning with t = 3.532 and p = 0.001 (p < 0.05),  a positive role of Family Support to Self- Regulated Learning with t = 2.267 and p = 0.027 (p < 0.05). This research can be used as a reference in the field of guidance and counseling, psychological counseling, or school psychology program within which it was mainly related to the increase in motivation, self-efficacy, social support families and self-regulated learning in learning activities of the students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the availability of facilities and infrastructure for guidance and counseling. This research is descriptive research with survey method, which is housed in the city of Yogyakarta with research subjects across the school SMP Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta at 10 schools. Data collection tool that is used in the form of a semi-open questionnaire which contains a checklist availability of facilities and infrastructure for guidance and counseling in schools. Data analysis techniques used in the form of descriptive statistics. The results showed 1) the availability of counseling rooms were adequate according to the standard which is sized 8x 9 m, new in 5 (50%) of schools that meet the standards of the 10 schools that became the subject of research; 2) the availability of special counseling room owned by the 8 schools (80%) of the 10 schools; 3) The factors inhibiting the availability of counseling that factor in the cost and land constraints. The results provide information for the development of facilities and infrastructure, principals, homeroom and subject teachers about the limited facilities BK teachers in providing services BK to students, so as to help teachers BK in providing the necessary facilities to make students feel comfortable in obtain guidance and counseling services in schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the subjective well-being on Parents of children with special needs through emotion regulation training. This was a quantitative study with pre-test post-test one group design. The subjects of this study were 12 Parents whose children participated in the early childhood education activities on the RW of Umbulharjo subdistrict. The data collection instruments for this study were well-being scale, observation sheet, and interview guideline. The data analysis technique of this study was Wilcoxon formula to compare the score of pre-test, post-test, and follow-up. The result of this study showed that emotion regulation training could improve subjective well-being on parents of children with special needs. This study can be a reference for the guidance and counseling implementation unit on the university, lecturers, and the counselor to improve emotion regulation for improving subjective well-being on parents of children with special needs.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the profile of Bidikmisi  students at Semarang State University (UNNES). This was a quantitative study with descriptive survey design. The subject of this study was 462 university students who were taken by simple random sampling technique. The data were collected by using career adaptability scale.The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. Based on the result of the analysis, it was found that the average profile of UNNESS Bidikmisi students’ career adaptability was 51% and was categorized as high. The result of this study shows that the attempts in improving students’ career adaptability by the lecturers, parents, and university counselors are needed

Abstract

Perkembangan karier individu  dimulai sejak masa kanak-kanak. Perkembangan tersebut sejalan dengan perkembangan dirinya. Penguasaan tugas perkembangan merupakan salah satu  realisasi perkembangan kariernya. Demikian juga halnya  dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Mereka lebih banyak membutuhkan waktu, stimulasi yang konkret, mempertimbangkan tingkat kekhususan  dan problem yang dihadapinya dalam setiap periode perkembangan kariernya.Eksplorasi kaier  merupakan  upaya individu untuk lebih memahami diri dan lingkungan karier serta upaya mempertemukan antara kelebihan yang ia miliki dan kesempatan karier yang ada. Eksplorasi karier terjadi setiap jenjang perkembangan karier, dengan tujuan untuk mengenal diri dan lingkungannya, sehingga  ia dapat memperoleh penyesuaian karier yang optimal. Dengan eksplorasi karier yang lengkap diharapkan mereka dapat mencapai perkembangan karier yang optimal sesuai dengan  kekhususannya.Beberapa upaya meningkatan eksplorasi karier yang sesuai untuk anak berkebutuhan khusus  adalah melalui curriculum infusion, magang  khususnya lewat shelter workshop, experiential learning. Berbagai upaya  tersebut sangat bergantung pada tingkat kekhususannya,  motivasi, dan  keterbukaan  mitra magang.  Bila ketiga hal tersebut diperhatikan  eksplorasi karier  mereka  akan  memperoleh hasil yang optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian didasari adanya fenomena kebingungan siswa SMK terhadap karir yang akan diambil. Pendidikan yang sedang ditempuh banyak yang tidak sejalan dengan karir yang sebenarnya diinginkan. Tujuan penelitian adala (1) untuk mengetahui profil kematangan karir siswa SMK, (2) melakukan kajian terhadap program bimbingan karir di sekolah, (3) mengetahui upaya bimbingan karir oleh guru BK, (4) mengetahui efektifitas program bimbingan karir yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonRandomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data hasil penelitian di analisis dengan teknik uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) kematangan karir siswa secara umum di SMK N 11 Bandung berkatogeri sedang, (2) indikator yang memiliki persentase terbesar  adalah keterlibatan, independensi, dan pemilihan pekerjaan, sementara indikator terendah adalah kompromi, pemahaman diri, dan pengetahuan pekerjaan, (3) Program Bimbingan Karir terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan Kematangan karir siswa sehingga layak untuk diterapkan dalam layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling. Rekomendasi penelitian: (1) Pihak sekolah, untuk memberikan perhatian lebih terutama dalam dukungan sistem, terhadap bimbingan karir yang dilaksanakan di sekolah, (2) Peneliti selanjutnya, disarankan untuk menggunakan wawancara dan observasi sebagai teknik pengambilan data kualitatif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of value clarification techniques in raising the elementary school students’ awareness towards the value of the academic responsibilities. This is an experimental studies in which one group possesed in pretestt-posttest design. There were eight participants of elementary school students. They were selected through purposive sampling techniques. The instrument used for collecting the data was the scale of awareness towards the value of the academic responsibilities for elementary school students. The data were analyzed using the nonparametric statistical test of Wilcoxon sign rank test. The results of the analysis showed that there is a different value (z) -2.524 in a significant degree of < 0.05. The pretest results showed that the average score of the elementary school students’ awareness towards the value of the academic responsibilities was 66, on the other hand, the posttest results showed that the average score was 94,5. Based on this study, it can be concluded that value clarification techniques is effective in raising the elementary school students’ awareness towards the value of the academic responsibilities. The is study can be used as the consideration for counseling teachers in providing a wide range of guidance and counseling services especially on the developing the students’ value of the academic responsibilities through value clarification techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the high qualified counselors’ personal competence at SMA Negeri 11 Yogyakarta. This research is a descriptive research. The participants of this research were 169 students consisting of class X, XI and XII class selected by simple random sampling. The instrument for the data collection is questionnaires of counselors’ personal competence. There are four aspects that were outlined in the questionnaires namely, godly and devoted to the Almighty God, respect and uphold the values of humanity, individualist and independent, having integrity and stability of a strong personality, having high performance quality. The data analysis techniques used a simple calculation in which grouping the data into three criterias, they are, poor, moderate, and good. The results showed that the expected counselors’ personal competence at SMA Negeri 11 Yogyakarta reaching the score of each are 50.3% in good criteria, 49.7% in moderate citeria and 0% in poor criteria.The results of this study can be used as the basis for the development of counselors’ personal competence in order to become high qualifeid counselors as expected by the students. The counselors who have a strong personality as the expected by students can improve students' enthusiasm to acquire the guidance and counseling services at schools.
