Abstract

Anak-anak muda itu kini membangun komunitas virtual penggila lagu-lagu Lord Didi, sapaan sang penyanyi selain jejuluk The Godfather of Broken Heartyang disematkan oleh penggemarnya. Kata kunci: Sobat ambyar, Didi Kempot, netnografi             Abstract The greeting 'sobat ambyar', lately is familiar to ears. This term is used to refer to fans of Campursari singer — Didi Kempot. They are Z generation who previously were more fond of Western songs because they were considered to represent certain social classes. The young people are now building a virtual community of Lord Didi's song enthusiasts, the singer's greeting in addition to the network of The Godfather of Broken Heart pinned by his fans. In many concerts, Generation Z enthusiastically attended, sang, danced and was immersed in the emotional atmosphere of the lyrics of the song Didi Kempot, which generally tells about heartbreak. 'Broken hearted, but not whiny.' Once the flattery the 'sobat ambyar' about the song of his idol singer. They also dubbed themselves as sadboy and sadgirl to legitimize the sadness they experienced from the lyrics of the song Didi Kempot. It is interesting to study whether there is acculturation of Javanese culture through the lyrics of songs by Didi Kempot with foreign cultures that were previously loved by this millennial generation. Or actually this is just a momentary phenomenon which then decays in unison with time. The maestro's old song video titled 'Stasiun Balapan' uploaded on social media, has been watched by no less than seven million people. One phenomenon in the world of music in the country, a singer with a distinctive regional song that has been considered a fringe class turned out to be able to attract the attention of young children. This study will examine the cultural acculturation that occurs by looking at the relationship between the figure of Didi Kempot, the lyrics of the song, and the phenomenon of the formation of a virtual community 'friend ambyar' with a netnographic approach. Cultural acculturation in this context is seen as one of the ways to revive local cultural values and bring them closer to millennial generations which can eventually become part of the endangered Indonesian identity. Keywords: Sobat ambyar, Didi Kempot, netnografi.

Abstract

Document from the Linguistics Department of University of Indonesia records that there are 742 regional languages in Indonesia. From that number, only 13 regional languages are spoken by no more than one million people. The most disconcerting problem is that many regional languages are threatened with extinction and some have even become extinct or no speakers are found. This happens for various reasons, and one of the influences that cannot be ignored is mass media. The mass media in Indonesia, both print and electronic, generally use Bahasa Indonesia as a medium of communication. On the other hand, the use of Bahasa Indonesia as the medium of instruction in mass media contributes to the transfer of Indonesian as the language of unity, but on the other hand, this has eradicated the use of regional languages.Another thing of concern is the lesser number of mass media that use local languages as the medium of instruction. Djaka Lodang Magazine is one of the printed mass media using regional languages that remain still in Indonesia, besides Mangle, Penjebar Semangat, and Jayabaya. The magazine, which was published in Yogyakarta since 1971, experienced a golden period during the 1980-1990s, but then it continued to decrease and nearly bankrupt like any other printed media since the development of communication technology which erodes the older media. However, although this media is no longer profitable in business selling, Djaka Lodang still survives and is published today. One of the main factors that made this magazine survive is bold support of the idealism of its founder, who is still active until today. Abdullah Purwodarsono, one of the owners of this magazine, has a strongdetermination to continue publishing Djaka Lodang, for the sake of one main goal, to keep and preserve the Javanese language and culture, an effort that has mutualism with the function of the press, i.e. the transmission of cultural heritage. This article will discuss the business and editorial strategy of Djaka Lodang magazine that makes this magazine survive in the midst of major changes in the world of media and the changes of language and culture in Indonesia.

Abstract

The communications management aspect of inclusive schools is essential because the main constraints of inclusive schools and children with special needs (ABK) to advance and access education are not in their disability or impairment but on public acceptance. This research is motivated by the negative issues faced by inclusive schools. Negative assumptions against inclusive schools and children with special needs are challenges for inclusive schools. Therefore, inclusive schools need issue management. This research aims to know the communications management in inclusive school management conducted by SD Tumbuh 1 Yogyakarta. The approach used in this research is qualitative with the case study method. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research result shows that SD Tumbuh 1 conducted issue management in five stages: problem identification, issue analysis, issue change strategy options, issue actions programming, and result evaluation.  Society has given a positive response because of the various programs that have been organized to handle the issue. The inclusive aspect implemented by SD Tumbuh 1 can be portrayed as an added value for the school.  As a recommendation, communication with the public of inclusive schools must be built continuously, consistently, and involving various parties. Communication acts that are persuasive and educative are also needed to construct positive opinions on inclusive schools. The use of mass media and social media also still needs to be optimized. For further research, because this study captured the school’s issue management, there is an opportunity to research issue management from the public.
