Abstract

This Ex Post Facto study aimed to describe and interpret the influence of slow learner and learning saturation to the students' learning physics difficulties at MTs Madani Alauddin Paopao-Gowa. This study was conducted for five meetings. It used three variables; 1) slow leaner and learning saturation as the independent variables; and 2) the students’ learning physics difficulties as the dependent variable. The populations of this study were all students of MTs Madani Alauddin Paopao Gowa consisting of 160 students. The sample was 35% of the population (56 students), 22 students from class VII, 17 students from class VIII and 17 students from class IX. The samples were chosen by using proportional sample stratified purposive sampling. To obtain data on Slow Learner, learning saturation and students' difficulties in learning Physics, the researcher developed three types of instruments; 1) questionnaire consisting of 25 items; 2) interview guides; and 3) the document dealing with the students’ learning outcomes. Data analysis technique applied was descriptive and inferential statistics for hypothesis testing. Based on the findings and descriptive analysis, it was found that the average score of; 1) Slow Learner was 61.03; 2) Learning Saturation was 61.14; and 3) the students' learning physics difficulties was 64.39. The findings of inferential analysis indicated the value of Fcount was 6162.89 while Ftable at 5% significance level was 3.18. Thus, the value of Fcount is much larger than the value of Ftable and the null hypothesis is rejected. It means that there is a significant difference between the slow learner and learning saturation on students' learning physics difficulties at MTs Madani Alauddin Paopao Gowa.

Abstract

The discussion of Genealogy of the science of Tarbiyah and Islamic Education dealing with its growth and development can be traced from Prophet Mohammed’s period. Genealogy of the science of Tarbiyah as a scientific foundation of Islamic Education was rooted in the first Revelation recieved by Prophet Muhammad showing the importance of education. The word Iqra’اقرا) ) shows the activity of reading; the word al-Qalam (القلم) suggests the importance of educational means and technologies for writing activities, and the word maalam ya'lam (مالم يعلم ) indicates the object in education (students) and the need for an educator. Then, the history of Islamic education showed that Prophet Muhammad pays high attention to education. He always held a study (ta'lim) to his friends in order to make them understand the Islamic teachings universally. He designed a complex study, Dar al-Arqam (educational institutions). The Badr war prisoners who can read and write can be released if they can teach to read and write to at least 10 Muslim children (the eradication of illiteracy). Furthermore, At its development, Islamic education is seen during Khulafah Al-Rasyidin with maintaining the characteristic as Prophet Muhammad periode even though every change of leadership was marked by several significant developments. To uncover the history of Islamic education development during the Khulafah Al-Rashidun, it should be approached gradually in accordance with the leadership of the caliphate period (Abubakar-As-Siddiq, Umar Bin Khattab, Uthman Bin Affan, and Ali Bin Abi Talib).

Abstract

Abstract: The most interesting studies in the philosophy of Islamic education is about people because of its unique personality and human nature itself is difficult to understand. Knowledge of human nature was necessary to help people get to know himself who delivered the real happiness. But these efforts failed, because people only know him at the boundaries of the instrument and not on the substance. Ignorance of human nature itself as a whole due to the limitations of human knowledge about him, especially in revealing spiritual things that are abstract. This limitation due to three factors: First, in the history of human life, he was more interested in investigating natural materials (concrete), than things that are immaterial (abstract). Secondly, the limitations of human reason are only able to think about things that are instrumental rather than things that are substantial and complex. Third, the complexity and unique human problems.

Abstract

The relevance of the learning component is the appropriateness and suitability of the relationship between the parts in the mental and physical process done by teachers and learners to achieve the objectives stated. In learning process, there are eight interrelated components and complement each other to achieve the objectives. Moreover, the relevance of the learning component also suggests the importance of each component. The learning will not be able to run if one of the components is not met. Then, learning component is a system being linked to one another and interacts in the learning development. The relevance components with other components can be viewed during the formulation of the goal itself in which the teachers formulate the goal. In this case, teacher is an educator who is also one of the components in learning. In addition, students also have a strong relevance to the objectives in which the educators set goals. Then, the consideration is the students’ behavior and characteristics.
