Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between creativity, innovation, and the feasibility of business ideas created by students while taking entrepreneurship courses. Data were collected using an online questionnaire. Hypothesis testing uses structural equation modeling. The test results show that creativity has no direct effect on the feasibility of a business idea. Creativity affects the feasibility of a business idea through innovation. Creativity has a positive impact on innovation, and innovation positively impacts the feasibility of a business idea. This research proves creativity itself is not enough to produce a viable business; it requires innovation.

Abstract

Decision-makers must consider many factors in carrying spin-off. The previous literature discussed more results on academics, non-financial companies, or Islamic banking. This paper proposes essential criteria to use in the analysis of financing company spin-off decisions. This article uses the AHP method by distributing questionnaires to the Directors of financing companies entitled to make spin-off decisions to determine the priority of the criteria and sub-criteria in question. The results show that financial condition is an essential criterion in making spin-off decisions. As for the Islamic financing business concept and strategy, the rate of return and growth are the top ranks for the sub-criteria chosen by the spin-off decision-maker.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit the world and bring unprecedented changes to all industries, including the Micro Small Medium Entrepreneur (MSME) of coffee shop businesses. This study aimed to determine the effect of the marketing mix on customer satisfaction to increase repurchase intention in modern coffee outlets. In addition, statistical modeling, segmentation analysis, and variables weighting using Support Vector Machine were performed. Eventually, product, price, and place positively and significantly affect customer satisfaction, while the promotion does not. Customer satisfaction was found to increase the repurchase intention of the customers. The segmentation analysis and SVM weighting attributes support the product quality as crucial to the marketing mix. It is implied that marketers should devise a marketing approach differently to different clusters since each cluster has distinct characteristics.

Abstract

The reluctance of modern firms to disclose their risk management is often investigated; however, how it interacts with audit delay is still underrepresented in academic investigations. This article thus provides a glimpse of how profitability and leverage serve as predictors of audit delay and the risk management disclosure in Indonesia-listed firms, aside from managerial ownership as the moderating variable. A five-year market movement becomes the investigated data in a quantitative approach. The findings reveal that profitability and leverage are not related to risk management disclosure, but they affect audit delay and subsequently to the disclosure. Managerial ownership also boosts the relationships of the dependent variables. No Indirect relationships are reported.

Abstract

The research aims to evaluate customers’ loyalty to Sharia banking related to internal and external factors of the financial performance approach. A loyalty is depicted with Third-Party Savings deposited in Sharia banking. This study employed Autoregressive-Distributive Lag (ARDL) to explore the short period and the long period from variables’ relationships. The findings reveal that profit-sharing, administration fee, the interest rate of a conventional bank, inflation, and the total number of accounts (NOA) had significant effects on Third-Party Saving (TPS). They imply that the customer’s loyalty is internally established if there is a higher profit sharing in savings, lower administration fees, and total supplementary accounts. Yet, it is formed by external incentives, i.e., a lower interest rate of conventional banking and inflation.
