Abstract

Masih banyak ditemukan peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep matematis pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV). Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik pada jenjang SMP kelas VIII. subjek penelitian dipilih peserta didik kelas VIII pada satu SMP di kabupaten Subang sebanyak 30 Peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu berbentuk soal uraian sebanyak tiga soal kemudian di analisis dan di deskripsikan sesuai dengan kemampuannya utnuk pengkategorian peserta didik (kategori sedang, rendah, dan tinggi).  Data hasil penelitian selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji rata-rata dan standar deviasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 4 peserta didik berada di kategori tinggi dengan persentase 13,34%, 19 peserta didik pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 63,33%, dan 7 peserta didik pada kategori rendah dengan persentase 23,33%. Sehingga, diperoleh kesimpulan mayoritas peserta didik memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis yang sedang sehingga belum memenuhi indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. There are still many students who have difficulty understanding mathematical concepts in linear equation in two variables (LETV). Therefore, this study aims to describe the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students at the junior high school level of class VIII. The research subjects were selected by class VIII students at one junior high school in Subang district as many as 30 students. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique was in the form of a description of five questions, then analyzed and described according to their ability to categorize students (medium, low and high categories). The research data were then analyzed using the mean and standard deviation test. The results showed that 4 students were in the high category with a percentage of 13.34%, 19 students were in the medium category with a percentage of 63.33%, and 7 students were in the low category with a percentage of 23.33%. So, the conclusion is the majority of students have moderate ability to understand mathematical concepts so they do not meet the indicators of ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Technology-based learning media in the learning process must be applied in today's digital era. GEMATIKA as website-based mathematics learning media was developed to support students' mathematics learning, especially Comparative material. This study aims to determine the process of developing learning media based on the GEMATIKA website that meets valid and practical criteria. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE development model. Data was collected using material and media expert validation sheets and student response questionnaires to the GEMATIKA website learning media. The subjects of this study consisted of 28 students from class VII. The results showed that the results of media validation by material experts and media experts were 4.13 and 4.29. The average percentage of student response questionnaire results is 80.82%. It means that students respond positively after using the GEMATIKA learning media. The positive responses indicate that students support, feel happy, and are interested in using the GEMATIKA website learning media in the mathematics learning process at home or in class. Based on the results of the validation sheet and student response questionnaires, it can be concluded that the GEMATIKA website learning media meets the valid and practical criteria

Abstract

AbstrakWisata budaya, seperti yang menampilkan Rumah Adat Kampung Naga, berpusat pada kajian dan apresiasi terhadap berbagai aspek infrastruktur dan nonstruktural budaya lokal. Melihat lebih dalam, menjadi jelas bahwa dalam pembangunan rumah adat Kampung Naga ada unsur-unsur budaya yang memiliki hubungan dengan matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) Etnomatematika yang terdapat dalam proses pembangunan rumah adat masyarakat Kampung Naga Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dan (2) Konsep matematis yang terdapat dalam proses pembangunan rumah adat masyarakat Kampung Naga Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Studi ini adalah contoh dari berbagai penelitian kualitatif,dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan data yang terkumpul, dapat ditarik kesimpulan tentang proses pembangunan rumah adat sunda pada masyarakat Kampung Naga di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya: (1) Etnomatematika yang ditemukan dalam pembangunan rumah adat masyarakat Kampung Naga diantaranya: perhitungan naktu/weton untuk menentukan hari baik dalam mempersiapkan proses pembangunan rumah hingga menempati rumah baru, penentuan luas rumah, penentuan arah hadap rumah dan tempat menyimpan kebutuhan pokok (goah), penentuan waktu mendirikan rumah (nangtungkeun bumi), penentuan jumlah kaso/usuk, penentuan jumlah penyangga lantai bambu (sarang). dan (2) Konsep matematis yang ditemukan dalam pembangunan rumah adat masyarakat Kampung Naga Kabupaten Tasikmalaya diantaranya: penggunaan penjumlahan, pembagian, dan modulo 3 untuk menentukan hari baik dimulainya persiapan proses pembangunan hingga menempati rumah baru melalui perhitungan naktu/weton; perkalian untuk menentukan jumlah kaso/usuk, dan barisan aritmatika untuk menentukan luas rumah, menentukan waktu mendirikan rumah (nangtungkeun bumi), menentukan jumlah kaso/usuk, dan menentukan jumlah penyangga lantai bamboo (sarang).Kata kunci: etnomatematika, kampung naga kabupaten tasikmalaya, rumah adatAbstractCultural tourism, such as the one featuring the Kampung Naga Traditional House, is centered on the study and appreciation of various infrastructural and non-structural aspects of local culture. Looking deeper, it becomes clear that in the construction of the Kampung Naga traditional house there are cultural elements that have a relationship with mathematics. The aims of this research are to describe: (1) Ethnomatematics involved in the process of building traditional houses for the Kampung Naga community in Tasikmalaya Regency and (2) Mathematical concepts involved in the process of building traditional houses for the Kampung Naga community in Tasikmalaya Regency. This study is an example of a variety of qualitative research, with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques through interviews and observation. Based on the data collected, conclusions can be drawn about the process of building Sundanese traditional houses in the Kampung Naga community in Tasikmalaya Regency: (1) The ethnomathematics found in the construction of traditional houses in the Kampung Naga community includes: naktu/weton calculations to determine auspicious days in preparing for the house construction process to occupying a new house, determining the area of the house, determining the direction towards the house and a place to store basic necessities (goah), determining when to build the house (nangtungkeun bumi), determining the number of rafters/usuks, determining the number of bamboo floor supports (sarang). and (2) The mathematical concepts found in the construction of the traditional house of the Kampung Naga community in Tasikmalaya Regency include: the use of addition, division, and modulo 3 to determine the auspicious day of starting the preparation for the construction process until occupying a new house through the naktu/weton calculation; multiplication to determine the number of rafters/usuks, and arithmetic sequences to determine the area of the house, determine the time to build the house (nangtungkeun bumi), determine the number of rafters/usuks, and determine the number of bamboo floor supports (sarang). Abstract

Kemampuan representasi matematis merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang harus dikuasai oleh calon guru matematika. Hal ini sangat penting karena calon guru matematika akan mengajarkan bagaimana penggunaan berbagai representasi dalam pemecahan masalah matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis representasi matematis yang dibentuk oleh calon guru matematika selama pemecahan masalah matematis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru matematika yang berjumlah 30. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan sebuah masalah kepada calon guru matematika dalam bentuk word problem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga jenis representasi matematis yaitu representasi verbal, skematik campuran, dan simbolik. Berdasar jenis representasi yang dipilih oleh calon guru matematika dapat membantu dalam pemecahan masalah matematis dengan baik.

Abstract

The development of ICT in the industrial revolution 4.0 was very fast and unlimited, causing the importance of statistical literacy for mathematics students’ teachers as global citizens, and future mathematics teacher candidates to be able to interpret and criticize information before communicating it in various media. This study described Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) in supporting the statistical literacy skills of mathematics students’ teachers. The method used in this research was a design research type validation study to support students' statistical literacy skills by implementing TPACK. Fourteen students who took the Basic Statistics course participated as subjects in this study. Three stages were carried out in this study, namely: the preliminary design, teaching experiment, and retrospective analysis to develop a learning trajectory through learning activities that had been designed through the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT). Data were collected using observations, interviews, video recordings, statistical project assignments, and tests. Data were analyzed and conclusions were drawn. The results of this study were a series of learning activities that are integrated with TPACK and can be used to support the statistical literacy skills of mathematics students’ teachers including activities: data awareness, statistical conceptual and idea, data presentation, and data representation. Local Instructional Theory (LIT) produced was useful in learning basic statistics to support the statistical literacy skills of mathematics students’ teachers.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in schools has not been linked to cultural concepts. Tea-eku dance is a cultural dance that contains a mathematical concept, the movement of the tea-eku dance contains a geometric concept. The purpose of this study is to apply tea-eku exercises through problem-based learning in increasing student interest and learning outcomes. The population in this study were all class VII students of SMP Adyaksa Ende for the 2022-2023 academic year. The sample in this study was class VII A as the experimental class and class VII B as the control class, each consisting of 13 students. The results of this study indicated that the learning interest of the control class students ranged from 55-78, while the experimental class with tea-eku dance media had scores ranging from 68 to 144 with an average score of 132.05 and a standard deviation. of 41,744. While student learning outcomes based on the results of the normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov formula obtained normally distributed data (P = 0.000 <0.05). It can be interpreted that the application of tea-eku dance through problem-based learning can increase student interest and learning outcomes, seen from the statistical results F = 14.29 and F table = 4.28 with dk quantifier = 1 and dk denominator = 23, giving a value that significant.

Abstract

AbstrakPeserta didik pada era abad ini yaitu abad 21 memerlukan kemampuan yang mumpuni karena masuk pada era globalisasi. Salah satu kemampuan yang diusung pada kegiatan belajar mengajar Kurikulum 2013 adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis. Tujuan dari studi ini untuk mengetahui ada pengaruh lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis pemecahan masalah terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika materi bangun ruang. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif jenis penelitian Pre-Test dan Post-Test. menggunakan soal pilihan ganda 10 butir berpikir kritis. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan soal pilihan ganda 10 butir berpikir kritis. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 22 siswa. Analisis Data menggunakan Uji paired sample t-test. Berdasarkan perhitungan hipotesis tingkat signifikan α = 0,05 dengan Hasil Uji Validitas menunjukkan hasil = 0,845>???? (0,05) sehingga semua item soal menunjukkan hasil valid . Uji realibilitas jika nilai ???? > 0.757 nilainya bersifat reliabel yaitu 0,757, dari hasil uji validitas dan realibilitas semua variabel bersifat realiabel/konsisten dikarenakan semua item masing-masing variabel valid. Hasil dari uji normalitas nilai hasil belajar 0,249 >???? (0,05) melebihi nilai signifikan , maka nilai variabel berdistribusi normal , dilanjutkan menggunakan uji-t satu sampel , hasil uji-t tersebut hasil belajar pada nilai statistik-t sebesar 0.759> ???? (0,05) maka tolak H0. Jadi dapat disimpulkan mengetahui ada pengaruh lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis pemecahan masalah terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika kelas V pada materi bangun ruang.Kata kunci: Bangun ruang, Berpikir kritis, Lkpd AbstractStudents in the era of the 21st century are currently faced with the era of globalization that requires adequate abilities. Critical thinking skills have been used in 2013 Curriculum learning activities. This study aims to determine the effect of problem solving-based students' work on critical thinking in mathematics for class V on the material of building space. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach of the type of Pre-Test and Post-Test research. using a Likert Scale critical thinking questionnaire. The data collection technique in this study used a critical thinking questionnaire. The sample used in this study amounted to 22 students. Data analysis used one sample t-test. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis that was carried out using the t-test, based on the significance level = 0.05 with the Validity Test Results showing the results r = 0845>α (0.05) so that all items showed valid results. Reliability test if the value > 0.757 the value is reliable, namely 0.757, from the results of the validity and reliability test all variables are reliable/consistent because all items of each variable are valid. The results of the normality test of the value of learning outcomes 0.249 >α (0.05) exceeds the significant value, then the value of the variable is normally distributed, followed by using a one-sample t-test, the results of the t-test learning outcomes at the t-statistical value of 0.759> ( 0.05) then reject H0. Abstract

Matematika merupakan ilmu tentang merepresentasikan suatu informasi menjadi data penting untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan. Berangkat dari hal tersebut keterampilan representasi matematis berperan penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Keterkaitan suatu materi dengan materi lainnya mengakibatkan matematika membutuhkan keterampilan awal sebagai dasar untuk mempelajarinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan representasi matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Klaten dalam menyelesaikan soal berbasis budaya Kota Surakarta pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Klaten. Subjek penelitian adalah 62 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Klaten. Enam siswa diambil sebagai sampel: dua siswa dengan keterampilan awal tinggi, dua siswa dengan keterampilan awal sedang dan dua siswa dengan keterampilan awal rendah. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis dan wawancara. Data diolah dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi atau kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber data. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan keterampilan awal tinggi dan sedang mempunyai keterampilan reprsentasi matematis yang baik. Siswa dengan keterampilan awal rendah belum mampu memenuhi indikator keterampilan representasi baik visual, ekspresi matematis, maupun teks tertulis.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang muncul saat ini yaitu lunturnya pengetahuan mengenai budaya terutama pada kalangan Generasi Alpha. Dengan demikian, perlu dirancang sebuah media edukasi berupa aplikasi yang mampu menambah pengetahuan tentang matematika sekaligus mengenalkan budaya dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital yang sudah sangat akrab di kalangan Generasi Alpha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan produk berupa media edukasi Blantik yang layak dan praktis sebagai upaya pencegahan erosi budaya di kalangan Generasi Alpha. Jenis penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen validasi media serta angket respon guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil validasi terhadap media edukasi Blantik dapat dikatakan layak untuk diujicobakan karena secara substansi, materi benar dan tidak terdapat kesalahan konsep, serta rata-rata yang diperoleh lebih dari 3,00. Kepraktisan media edukasi Blantik dapat dilihat berdasarkan data hasil angket respon siswa yaitu 82% dan guru yaitu 95%. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Blantik layak dan praktis untuk digunakan.   One of the problems that arise today is the fading of knowledge about culture, especially among the Alpha Generation. Thus, it is necessary to design educational media in the form of an application that can increase knowledge about mathematics while at the same time introducing culture by utilizing digital technology which is very familiar among the Alpha Generation. This research aims to develop and produce a product in the form of educational media Blantik that is appropriate and practical as an effort to prevent cultural erosion among Generation Alpha. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques used media validation instruments and teacher and student response questionnaires. Based on the results of the validation of the educational media Blantik it can be said that it is feasible to be tested because in substance, the material is correct and there are no conceptual errors, and the average obtained is more than 3.00. The practicality of the educational media Blantik can be seen based on the data from the student response questionnaire, namely 82%, and teachers, namely 95%. Thus, it is concluded that the Blantik application is feasible and practical to use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena KPM peserta didik yang rendah, dengan tujuan menghasilkan LKPD Elektronik berbasis DL untuk memfasilitasi KPM peserta didik kelas VIII SMP/MTs dan memenuhi syarat valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini menerapkan model ADDIE yang melibatkan tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Pelaksanaan Uji coba kelompok kecil dilaksanakan pada saat situasi Covid-1 menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi dan lembar angket respon peserta didik dan terdiri dari 6 orang peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 23 Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian dengan nilai rata-rata kevalidan sebesar 3,80 dan praktis dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 82% menunjukkan bahwa LKPD Elektronik yang dikembangkan sangat valid. Oleh karena itu, LKPD elektronik berbasis DL direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi lingkaran di SMP/MTs untuk memfasilitasi KPM peserta didik.This research was conducted because the KPM of students was low, with the aim of producing Electronic-based LKPDDL to facilitate KPM for class VIII students of SMP/MTs and meet valid and practical requirements. This study applies the ADDIE model which involves stagesanalysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The small group trial was carried out during the Covid-1 situation using validation sheet instruments and student response questionnaires and consisted of 6 class VIII students at SMPN 23 Pekanbaru. The results of the research with an average validity value of 3.80 and practical with an average percentage of 82% indicate that the developed Electronic LKPD is very valid. Therefore, electronic based LKPDDL recommended for use in learning circle material in SMP/MTs to facilitate student KPM.
